I need to give a big thumbs up to Daniel from Smart Connections Electrical. Here's what happened: a couple of days ago, the circuit breaker at a property started acting up, tripping all the time. It was pretty late but I decided to call Daniel, and to my relief, he agreed to come over first thing in the morning at 6am. We first thought the problem might be due to some minor flooding at the back of the house. Daniel was quick to address this, cutting off power to the back area which wasn’t in use, and adding new switches to the switchboard to balance the power load. However, we soon realised the issue was a bit more complex than that. The breaker was still tripping- just less often. I reached out to Daniel again, and he promptly returned my call, suggesting we look into the appliances, specifically the fridge. Sure enough, after disconnecting the fridge, the problem stopped. Daniel came back the next day with his appliance tester and it turned out the fridge was the culprit, with significant earth leakage. Besides solving this mystery, Daniel also did a fantastic job installing a new fan and some extra power points. His work is not only top-notch but also done with care and precision. And let me tell you, he’s just as good with people as he is with electrical problems – very approachable and easy to talk to. So for anyone on the Northside area needing solid, reliable electrical work, I can’t recommend Daniel enough. He’s skilled, knowledgeable, and has a great personality to boot.

We are remodelling our home and Daniel has undertaken extensive electrical work for us, including but not limited to removing an old oven and installing a new outlet, rewiring for new wall lights and installation, replacement ceiling fans, replacement outdoor lights and removal of an old security system. Daniel has also recessed electrical wiring left exposed previously. Daniel has also installed remote access for our electric driveway gates and is working with us on the installation of remote access driveway lighting. He has been fantastic at providing research, advice and supporting us in planning our works, which I have found incredibly helpful. Daniel has been incredibly patient whilst we have navigated electrical work and other home improvements. He is professional, capable, tidy and very reliable. He is thoroughly transparent with his invoicing and projected project costs. I would highly recommend him.

Living in a house while renovating can just be plain hard with no lights and extension leads to power up kitchen appliances when everything keeps tripping. Well Daniel to the rescue, he is local to Banyo which is why we chose him and made the whole process so simple from the initial visit to understand the job, to quote, to making us a priority and being onsite to complete the scope. He was here for 4 days in total (so far) and completely changed the way we live quickly and professionally (but still friendly)! Couldn’t recommend Daniel enough, life saver in our books!

Had a problem with hot water system and plumber supplied by manufacturer advised there was an electrical fault. Contacted Smart Connections Electrical who gave prompt and excellent service. The problem was with the system but easily solved by Daniel from Smart Connections Electrical. Daniel was competent, reliable, honest and showed integrity of the highest level. He did not charge for the wonderful service. Highly recommend
