I was very excited when I learned that we had an indian restaurant in our neighbourhood and I have tried several dishes so far. I know indian food very well as I've been cooking it for the past 20 years and I've already tried several indian/pakistani restaurants throughout Montreal. Overall, the food is good. The Tandoori chicken is well spiced, well cooked (not dry at all) and the vegetable pulao that comes with it is excellent! I was happy to find nigella seeds in their samosas; the tamarind sauce that comes with it is simply perfect. Oh, and the dahl is exceptionnal! The byrianis (lamb and chicken) are so-so. We felt there was too much mint in it and it did not have the complexity of flavours that one expects to find in such a dish. We were disappointed with the lamb curry and beef korma; we found them bland and uninteresting. The onion bhajis were ok. And the aloo gobi was surprisingly bland; they should add some chili pepper in there. Lastly, the salad dressing is overly sweet; I would have expected to find something more "indian", with lime juice and chopped coriander. The naan bread is not bad, but they should refrain from adding sugar to the dough. All in all, it's a very decent place, with very good dishes and other dishes that need some adjustment.

First of many time I will get food from this restaurant! Everything was excellent. The chicken curry and the chicken tikka masala were great and tasty. The naan bread were moist and soft. We loved the samosa and the onion bhaji, they were flavorful. Can't wait to try something else from the menu. The delivery was right on time with was I was told via the online ordering.

The naans are so good it's crazy....samosas are delicious....price is cheap for amount of food you get.....10/10 5 stars would recommend all the way...plus I was served in french so that's a plus I guess?...anyway...can't wait to go get me more naans

Although this place has a "hole in the wall" atmosphere, the food was AMAZING and the service was top notch!!! I had the Chicken Madras and hubs had the Lamb Vindaloo, plus we shared a Mixed Chat and Garlic Naan. Will definitely return when we're in the area!

The restaurant may be small but the food --- you just have to come back to try everything on their menu. It's filling and satisfying. The flavor is spot on. Great service.
