We usually go to Dee's for our eyebrows threading. It's lunchtime, plus it's raining hard. So we took shelter at this restaurant. The restaurant was empty, we were the first customers, then slowly it the filled up for lunch. Being an Indian, I know the food well, therefore I am sadly disappointed with most the food. My mango lassi was perfect. Pani Puri was a let down; not enough vegetables and the sauce was bland, not enough spices. Samosas another letdown, the filling was ok, so I just ate that but the pastry was absorbed by the oil so much. Paneer Pakora, I have no complaints. Parantas (plain))were over cooked and the taste was bitter. Aloo (potato) parantas tasted more ginger than the potato. In the other hand, the service was good and super quick. Honestly, I don't really recommend this place. If you want to go to a small authentic Indian restaurant; I recommend Pushap and Thali (near Concordia).

Horrible food. Three Indians including myself were there. We know Indian dishes from all over India, but the food was very disappointing. The main disappointing thing was the base, it was the same base in every vegetable, it was full of sugar; never heard of sugar in vegetables; spices were killed. Other problems were with Massala dosa sauce, full of vinegar and the Chat Papri was full of Chinese noodles. Advise anyone looking for authentic Indian food beware. I saw some reviews later, wish saw them before.

Food is okay. But let me talk about the dish why I gave 1 star. So I ordered Paani puri, and what I received looked like a joke. I want to ask the guys who made the dish: Have you ever tasted pani puris in your life? Do you even know how it looks like? The puris came stuffed with one chick-pea and one little piece of potato, sans spices, bland as I can't even explain. The spiced water was horrible, coloured red and sweet. I was sort of looking forward to trying out Pani puris, and these guys have completely destroyed the dish for me. Never ever eating Pani Puris at a restaurant again. Nope.

Today i visited. Food is average, briyani is same as other punjabi, pak restaurants. Chicken madrasi is not the same as chicken madarise, I think they have 2 type menu cards one in papper and one in folder file. Which first one for local immigrants and the otherone for the whitish guys. Nothing special about this resturant. Not think will visit again. OPINION try once and make a rewiew

They use to give side snacks untill your order comes to table. That is papad and green sauce but this time they didn't give us that. N if we are two people they provide 2plates but this time they gave only 1 plate and we cannot eat in that plate bcos it's too small for two. Quantity has disappointed me. everytime we use to visit and order chat papdi but as there quantity is decreasing i have to think again for revisiting. Taste is good. But you will get same taste in chahat restaurant also. Quantity matters
Ive been going to Chand palace for 5 years now and they have never once disappointed. I bring family and friends here all the time so we can feast together :) The food is incredibly good and if you don’t know what to get ask! Anyone working there will suggest the best dishes. It’s affordable, very quick service, and one of those places you want to stay open forever. Hope they continue to have lots of success so many more can enjoy their delicious food.

*DON'T EVER TAKE SOUPS FROM HERE* The Food is pathetic Soups are just watery curry. We bought chicken soup and veggie soup. Chicken soup is just normal chicken curry with extra water and veggie soup is vegetable kurma with extra water. Biriyani is also not upto the mark. There is no Raita or Salna with the same. Waited for an hour to just stay hungry. I wish i could give a zero star

Good place with good food. Service is good as well. Prices are very reasonable and there is a lot of variety . Kulcha Onion is to die for but garlic naan is good as well. Will have to try again and see consistency. It' a BYOB or BYOW , however you want to call it. Verdict : give it a try.

Very rude people. Sorry that I had to put one star because there is no option for negative number of stars

This was my first time ordering here and I'm extremely impressed with the quality and flavor. The lamb bhuna was a highlight, very tender pieces in a delicious sauce. The chana masala and butter chicken (classic) were fantastic too, the butter chicken was so creamy and rich. Would highly recommend!
I ordered online- aalo parantha, samosa and aalo tikki. Aalo parantha was ok..it was very bland for my taste. For aalo tilki they just gave me 2 aalo bhaji with a green chutney like where is the whole dish? On top of that they don’t have any money back option. SO DISAPPOINTED!!

worst food i ever had. orderd pani puri, dosa and curry chicken .... for pani puri they just added red color in water and for dosa they put too much spice. i spent around 45$ but feeling sorry for myself

My favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal. Have been there so many times. You can bring your own wine. Love to start with veggie pakora, crispy and delicious love the veggie mix and Biryani rice. Great service

I ordered Paneer Tikka via Uber Eats. The food was horrible. It was unappealing not just in looks, but cold and tasteless. The portion was so small. Most of it was just onions thrown into the box. Never ordering again from this place. And definitely not visiting them.
i always order vegetarian thali and was never unsatisfied. Fresh rice and naan and great curry. For less then 10$, it would be hard to complain anyway!! Pakore as appetizer are very great too. Ive be going there for several years now. One of my favourie in Montreal.
We have been going to this restaurant for years it is our favourite Indian restaurant.l in Montreal. The nan is the best that we have ever had. The butter chicken and shrimp biryani rice are excellent too. And the cook and waitresses are very nice to us. More
Very good and tasty. I have been going there since they opened . Good prices and the service is usually polite and you wait very little before being served. I usually get there before 12 or after 1:30 pm to avoid rush hour. Only one thing I
This was my first time coming here. The food and service did not disappoint. We had several dishes (butter chicken, bindhi (okra), tikka masala, saag, fish pakora, Chana samosa). The quantities were perfect and the food was delicious. More
If you’re craving for authentic goat curry then you’ve found the right spot. Best for cheap eats Indian cuisine... The curries are flavourful and you can ask for the desired spice level. Good service and cozy ambience …
Good, affordable, but food tastes quite bland. If you want a better flavourful experience try la Maison du Curry across the street. Of course, compared to other neighbourhoods in mtl, this plase is quite decent.
The quantity is very bad, one biryani will be enough for child I guess and we ordered butter chicken and panneer curry they given in the 12 onze box not worth for money, stay away don’t waste. Your money.. More
One of my favorite indian restaurants. I always take the same thing Butter chicken (love the sauce) Butter shrimp Naann bread is always good Love their onion baji. Customer service is alright.
The best Indian food hands down! I always recommend eating there as that’s when the food is freshest. Been coming here for years & the quality has remained excellent.
Cheap, that’s for sure, but what I try wasn’t good at all. South Indian part of the menu, not recommended. Maybe you should order the classics, like butter chicken.
I had the fish curry with rice and naan It was delicious. I will try to come again

Worst experience! Ordered from uber eats 2 masala dosa and only one they delivered no utensils nothing even coconut sauce is worst ! Nevr try this restaurant .
The size of the takeout containers has shrinked… two veg dishes , 30 $ 15 $ for patatoes…. I’m not going back there. At least give me food to feed my children
Super good Indian food not so far from ottawa. Whenever we visit Montreal, this restaurant is a must visit in our checklist. Tasty & simple Indian food
I have been coming here for years! Great value, great food, if you like spicy food, try the lamb vindaloo! Butter chicken + garlic naan hits every time
Extremely delicious, had the chicken ticki masala and didn't dissapoint. Forget what I had for appetizer but it was nice and also like the salsas.
Wouldn’t recommend, the channa samosa was dipped in yogurt Indian of channa.they should probably name is boiled channe with dahi
Best mango lassi and butter chicken ever, naan was almost up there
