"As the name mentions, Best samosa that you can have in MTL, this place has amazing Indian cuisine, spiciness level can be changed as per the order"
"The place is clean, accessible for wheelchair, and is super close to the metro"
"Worst Indian food I've ever eaten"
"We came there around 7:40, closing time was 9pm"
"My partner and I visited when we were in the area! I definitely love indian food and this restaurant did not disappoint!! The flavour is definitely there and the cuisine is rich, but the service seemed a little slower but then again they only had one person in the front and serving"
As the name mentions, Best samosa that you can have in MTL, this place has amazing Indian cuisine, spiciness level can be changed as per the order.. my personal tried and tasted recommendations from this place: 1) Veg Samosa 2) Chana Samosa 3) Fish Korma 4) Shahi Paneer 5) Mix Thali- brings veg and Non veg in same plate along with Tandoori and Kabab. 6) Fish Pakora 7) Fish curry 8) Chicken Thali 9) Veg Thali 10) Naan bread - softest naan you can think of.. 11) Mango Lassi. The menu is much bigger than I can afford to taste.. 5 stars attaching pics of Chana Samosa and fish curry with naan bread.

The place is clean, accessible for wheelchair, and is super close to the metro. There is no (when I was there) music playing to distract you. Now the review. I don't know if its my face but I'm yet to encounter a nice, polite server at any Indian restaurant in Montreal. I read a lot about a couple of servers here who other patrons seem to love but they were nowhere to be seen. Ours was curt to the point of being rude. Ordered palak paneer and naan and its the best veggie food Ive had in Montreal yet. It was perfect. No sweetness and definitely no 'filler' curries they use for volume. The paneer was fresh too. Will try their non-veg fare next time.
Worst Indian food I've ever eaten. Expensive and absolutely terrible. Butter Chicken doesn't taste like butter chicken, every dish is watered down mess, they leave cardemon pods in the dishes so you can ruin your bite with that in there, samosas and pakora don't come with any sauce, rice is bland, and don't even get me started about that sorry excuse for a sausage. Disgusting place, you couldn't pay me to eat at this place again. I would have understood if it was cheap but 55$ dollars for two you expect something eadible.

We came there around 7:40, closing time was 9pm. The lady didn’t greet us, it seemed like she didn’t want us here. Didn’t talk to us properly. When asked about the menu, she would reply i don’t know. The food was cold, barely any taste. The utensils looks uncleaned, so did the glassware. The service was overall bad. Once she served us food. She went back and never came back. Tbh. Don’t recommend at all, the lady gives off bad vibes and makes you feel very uncomfortable. 0/10

The place is nicely organized and a little quiet, i think some music would really set the ambiance!

We returned after being away, since our offices have moved. We loved their Thali dishes during lunches. Last night we returned and the food was delicious. Recommendations to try new things a must! One of the best hidden gems in MTL.

-Very good and tasty food -Had veg thali, it had 3 currys, naan, rice, salad, 1 piece Samosa-Onion Pakoda-Gulab Jamun - Everything was pure indian tasty bit - Place is big, for parties it would be excellent - Service is a bit time taking but its ok as long as the taste is excellent -Prices are average enough - Quantity is also good enough - Overall it was very good experience and I would not hesitate to visit it agin
The food was alright, but the service was horrendous. The lady (cashier also the server) was very cranky, and at first, we thought maybe she was tired from fasting. However, to our surprise, her treatment towards Caucasian customers was completely different from how she treated us. She was super friendly and courteous to these Caucasian customers, but with us, she treated us as if we were begging for free food!!
Love love love this place! The kind lady here is very nice and the food is just so yummy each time we come here! Recommend the butter chicken ,chicken biriyani and malai boti. Good luck, cant wait to come by next time!

The food is great. Dont get me wrong. I’ve been a loyal client since they opened. Today, I hosted a dinner at home and wanted naan from them. They wouldn’t accept my order because they were too busy and I’d have to wait. I’m not sure why they didn’t close their uber store but this was crazy. I had to call to ask why. They’ve permanently lost a customer.

Ive had the chicken byriani with chicken samosa. The samosa were great, they come in a pair of two with a spicy red sauce. The crispiness and thickness of the samosa were great, the filling although it wasnt fully stuffed. The chicken byriani was not too spicy with a good flavor. The only issue was the chicken, it was a bit too dry and tough. You cannot go wrong with the samosa thats a sure value.
Be ware of this place. I GOT FOOD POISONING DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE.... I ordered 3 different dishes, all came with same tomato-based spicy sauce. It looks like they have just heated the lamb and the fish in the microwave and threw it in the sauce. They call this food??? They think that It just a quick way to make money off people and serve them bad food. horrible.... never ever again.
Great atmosphere and the friendliest staff. We went with a huge (12 person) group and they easily accommodated us. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The mango Lassi was a highlight as were the pakoras. They have a selection of both spicy and mild foods (just ask them which is which). Well worth a visit if you're looking for a delicious meal with a charming atmosphere.must try
So bad food sezling plate which cost me 49 dollars and they put in plate rice and salad to make it full only 2 kababs on top and 4 burn shrimps I spend 80 dollars and all food go in garbage so disappointed chicken karahi small container and tasteless very very disappointed will never order again

First time trying it and we all loved it. Picked up food for a party of 8. Service was friendly and great, from placing my order to picking up my order and paying. The food was very tasty; among the best Indian food I have ever had. Dish after dish, it kept impressing us all. Will definitely go back very soon and share this new find will all my Indian food lovers!!!!
Coming from Toronto and going to Quebec, stopped over at Montreal for food at this restarunt. Very good food, great quality, quick service. This is our second time to this restarunt. We catered food for 55 people in 2015 while going to Quebec. It was also memorable experience. Keep it up. Thanks

We went inside the lady on the counter was so disaster, we smiled and said Hi and she didn’t reply . She was very rude with us all the time. We had veggie samosas and chicken kebabs and lassi, she came after 30minutes and the restaurant was all vacant. Service and the server (the lady) were really poor, although the food was okay.
Excellent food and service! Both dine-in and delivery experiences were excellent. Restaurant area is clean and welcoming. Lunch delivery (for a large group) ordered at the office arrived on time and neatly packaged. Great variety of meat/vegetarian menu options. Naan is top-notch. A definite recommendation for anyone in the area!
I came here when I was a student at the local college because it was the best place to get really good food that wasn't expensive. 6 years later that's still the case!!

The place was empty when we got there. Usually not a good sign. Realized after that lots of people were ordering using food delivery services. Food was great. Nice and spicy! Standard portions for an Indian joint i.e. on the small side. Decor is very basic. Definitely no frills. Parking available on side streets.
This restaurant has a wonderful homely feel to it ! The food is always so fresh and the fragrance is just mesmerizing ! I've eaten there both in person and ordered for home deliveries...Both options work very well with this location ! Recommended for sure !!! Healthy Halal Indian cuisine for the win !
I would have to say I was blown away. The food was amazing, and the service was even more amazing. They hosted my large party for my wife's 40th birthday and made it one of the most memorable experiences. I am always looking for a "party in my mouth" when I eat Indian food, this was a grande soiree!
We ordered butter chicken and Naan. While the food was good, we had our concerns with hygiene. The lady who served us the food was also cleaning the toilet while we were eating. We really felt bad and were not able to enjoy our meal. Imagining the same hands in the kitchen and toilet was not good.
If you looking for the best place to dine-in With authentic Indian taste Maison is the best place in Montreal. We ordered karahi chicken and shahi paneer with garlic naans that was out of the world.

If you are in the mood for some delicious Indian comfort food then this place is definitely worth a visit! I really enjoyed the Mixte Thali Plate which is a sampler of various Indian dishes on the menu and it was very good! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Definitely less good than the average indian food I had in Montreal. That said, it was still decent and I have to appreciate that it is the only indian restaurant where I was served in french by an indian. But I prefer the food at Kuljit by far.
Amazing. Best Indian food out there in mtl. Everyone should eat there at least once. Clean and cozy environment, even the restaurant smells great. Food was exquisite.

ITS WORTH IT!!! Came here with my family last year, every dish we had was a 10/10. If you want authentic South Asian food this is your place. Bring family or friends or even a date!!! My family enjoyed the comfort environment. Madly in love ❤️
I've enjoyed eating the delicious meals at this place (and to take out) for years. In my opinion it's the best Indian cuisine in Montreal. The restaurant has a nice relaxed ambiance and is well located. And Aisha is the best hostess ever!!! :)
I placed an order for 40 samosas, at 1pm, to be picked up at 6:30pm, but when I arrived they started the order then, I had to wait 45 minutes for my samosas. The samosas were good though. The main waitress wasn't very welcoming. It appeared
I've ordered and ate here many times through the years and have always been very satisfied with my meal. I find their low spiciness options very enjoyable (I don't like spicey, but I like the Indian spices). The meat skewers and naan bread
Tried it for the first time last week, WHY hasnt I discover this place sooner ??? For authentic indian food, this is the place to go! Every dish has its own flavor. The spices were just perfect! Little family restauran, we will come back :)
Food is average. There’s no ambiance and not even music. All the chairs are stained and seemed very old. There is no decorations other than plain walls on most of the restaurant. The day we went particularly the chick peas were tasteless.
Went for lunch and was very disappointed. I love supporting local businesses in my community but won't be going back. I ordered the Royal Thali and it came lukewarm. The samosa was decent and so was the chickpea curry and the rice. That's
The food was fresh but wasn't happy with the behavior of the cashier/server. She was very unwelcoming and non-communicative. She didn't mention the food will take time to prepare and didn't offer me to have a sit or wait. She was more in
Perhaps one of the best places to have Samosas in Montreal. Fluffy, light, crispy, filling and non-greasy.
