We arrived back from the movies at midnight to find our bedroom door locked with the keys inside. After spending 2 hours searching for a spare key and trying to force the lock, we gave up and slept in the spare bed room. Early the next morning (public holiday), we called 5 locksmiths to get a price estimate and availability. Of the companies called, we found Rapid Response were the friendliest over the phone and while the price quoted was the same as one other company, Rapid Response were much cheaper when I mentioned some other lock issues I might want looked at during their visit. I got the distinct impression some of the other companies were going to charge like" wounded bulls" due to it being a public holiday. Most didn't want to give me an estimate for the additional work. They said they would quote when they were on the job. When Andrew arrived he was personable, friendly, effective and efficient. He looked at all our other lock issues and charged a very reasonable rate to complete the whole job. The door handle of our property suddenly gave up the ghost 4pm Friday evening. A few calls to different Locksmiths and Rapid Response were certainly that. Andrew responded in a flash and was really easy to communicate with. Andrew came out to our property late in the evening just to check that he could fix our quirky door lock. He arranged a temporary fix so we could secure our house until his return the following morning to fix the issue properly which he did very efficiently not to mention he's friendly and professional too! We had an is sue with our lock on our crimsafe front door screen. We rang Rapid Response and it certainly was rapid. Our lock was repaired and Andrew went out of his way to find us a new one. We will use him again without hesitation if we have such a problem. He was polite, friendly, cheerful and knowledgeable and not only that he can cope with dogs! That's a plus also in our view. Rang Rapid Response with a broken lock issue and the technician came straight away. He arrived in about 30 mins or so and replaced the lock and serviced other doors as well. A very fair price was charged. Highly recommend this service
