"If I could give zero stars I would or how about subzero like -100 Am a regular pharmaprix customer but will never EVER step into this one again not even to buy a bottle of water of 79c"

"Despite the numerous issues this place had (no self serve + cash only, the OPUS machine not working, even taking a passport picture is an issue), I have to give a big shout-out to the staff of this location! They never lost their composure, despite there being PLENTY of them, on top of dealing with rude customers left and right who either blamed them for something out of their control, but those who decided to talk down, since that's the only way they can get that feeling"
This has been my pharmacy for over 15 years and I know most of the very friendly staff by first name. The Pharmaciennes-Owners are very lovely people who run a tight and organized ship with very little staff changes which shows the team spirit at the store. The store has undergone a major renovation and is even bigger, brighter, and more modern with a substantial increase in cosmetics and food items. My go-to place for many personal items and I often stop just to say hi to the lovely staff. (Now to put on my hat as someone who has worked in customer service and support for almost three decades and is critical of poor customer service.) I’ve read the other reviews and I can say that the pharmacy team has always been very polite, efficient, and accurate the entire 15 years I’ve been a client there and the ONE time I felt a store security guard was being a bit overzealous, I told one of the owners and it was addressed immediately with an apology and the gentleman actually became a better security employee. Yes, it gets busy (especially on Mondays) and I do order my refills online to be prepared in advance and there is sometimes a wait but it’s never been too long. I’m empathetic that people are often suffering when they need a prescription filled but many of the experiences I’ve read in other reviews absolutely do not mesh with my extensive experiences there for almost two decades. I’m not dismissing other peoples’ feelings or experiences offhand but they are wildly inconsistent with the customer experience I know the owners and staff work hard to create there and any valid concerns would be addressed by them effectively.
The store is currently under renovation, yet it is still open. I wasn't familiar with the store layout. I saw a staff who was mostly working on inventory and proceeded to ask her where i could find a certain item. As i was talking to her, I subconsciously switched from english to french. She adjusted according to how i responded. Language doesn't really bother me, i work in a french environment, speak my native language and english at home, and use English (sometimes frenchglish or le franglais) with my friends. Customers don't need to feel a language barrier. Anyway, she was really precise in guiding me where the item was. When i was near the cash, another staff saw me struggling with multiple items in hand. She offered to help and told her i was done, just waiting for the cashier. She then lead me to a self serve, gave me an optimum card with a brief description, scanned my items for me, and bagged them. I am truthfully thankful to the staff who have helped me that day. So bottom line is, the staff in this branch are very welcoming and helpful.
If I could give zero stars I would or how about subzero like -100 Am a regular pharmaprix customer but will never EVER step into this one again not even to buy a bottle of water of 79c. It’s Christmas and was looking to buy quite a pricy perfume tried it on and came back a few hours later ti try again. My policy is that if you buy an expensive perfume make sure it’s good cuz I think most of us agree it’s Covid and we spend our money wisely. This tall woman claiming to be the manager stood there said you came in already 3x I said no 2,I might suggest she learns how to count.she corrected herself. Then she said can only try once and just stood there I felt like so dirty like a thief if that’s their policy let them put note Called the big guy manager his attitude not much better They just renovated the perfume section good luck look elsewhere ppl or just remember try ONCE or THE GENERAL will come or even better dont go at all. Because I know I won’t And I will spread te word
First time purchase at this store and bought a reading glasses without a case but just a tag on it. After 2 weeks I tried to return it because it didn't fit and caused dizzy when wearing it. Surprisingly the return was refused because they said the tag was removed. But I read through all their return policies, there was no where saying it couldn't be returned without a tag. there were no package for it, no damage, with a receipt in effective period, and not in their "return exclusions/exceptions", I don't know why I couldn't return. I was so disappointed!!! They could put on another tag to resell it, why I was punished for spending $ on things I couldn't use, it's waste and not eco-friendly. Maybe they are not in profit and can say NO whenever they want and don't align to their policy at all!! I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE THERE AGAIN DEFINITELY!!!!
Despite the numerous issues this place had (no self serve + cash only, the OPUS machine not working, even taking a passport picture is an issue), I have to give a big shout-out to the staff of this location! They never lost their composure, despite there being PLENTY of them, on top of dealing with rude customers left and right who either blamed them for something out of their control, but those who decided to talk down, since that's the only way they can get that feeling. From those in the beauty section, to the cashiers, and everyone in between, they all deserve a bit more compassion and respect, since they're still trying to create a happy shopping experience for us, despite the recent challenges, And that is why I'm giving this 5 stars!!!
I went to get advice about my daughter's nosebleeds. I waited in front of the advice counter at the line on the floor, and nobody came. For the most part, there was nobody else in any of the lines. After 20mins, I walked up to the counter: there's a sign taped horizontal on it which says that the customer has to go to drop-offs to give their name to see a pharmacist. This sign isn't visible from the waiting line. I didn't have another 20mins to kill, I had to leave. I felt like I was totally ignored by employees who obviously saw me standing there, just because I didn't see the sign to give my name at dropoffs. I suggest that the sign be posted somewhere visible to those waiting at the line. Otherwise, the place seems to be running smoothly.
The lady at the cosmetic counter DENIED me an item after I showed her it was on special and told me the sticker price is wrong and took the item off the shelf and the sticker and told me to come back later she will check the price. I had to go to the cosmetic manager and tell her what happened and she sold me the item at the sticker price. I am very upset because they have no right to deny am item to a customer after I showed her it was sticker price.. .. she also was so bold as to ask me if the lipstick was going to be mixed with anything else and asking me am I sure I want it. Not a pleasant experience!!!!!!
Last time I went here I was told there was an Optimum promotion, get 10,000 points if you spend 50$. The cash told me I needed a few more dollars to qualify for a paper with 10,000 points to use for my next purchase, so I spent a bit more. A few days later, I went to another Pharmaprix with that paper and the cashiers told me I'd have to spend 40$, then I'd get the 10$ off. I'm sick of Pharmaprix all together, it's more expensive than Jean Coutu and now I'm getting taken advantage of. Train your staff better to know what exactly the promotion is and to not make customers spend more than they have to..
Unbelievable and unacceptable behavior from employees, all of them are rude, makes me wonder if 'How to be rude to customers' is part of their training. Literally at the city center but their system never works, imagine accepting only cash in this era that too from a renowned franchise chain like Shoppers. To add to those qualities, they have mentioned a discount for some random product which is not even related to product placed on the rack. Guess that's the mentioned in 'How to trick your customer' and 'How to Slack at your job' training.
I visited in March from western Canada, and I got such amazing quick customer service it was so heartwarming. I started going to this pharmacy around 2008, the staff are always smiling, and the pharmacist really take the time to explain proper taking of your medication. Imagine they still knew my name. The pharmacy can get pretty busy, people seem to come from all over just to come back to this one, which is kind of weird but they must be doing something right. If i moved back to Quebec, I would definitely go to this one.
I had the purchasing experience of my life today. I was served at the cash by a brand new cashier. Though she was new, she had the confidence of a veteran and the grace of a leaping panther. My kitkats and coffee crisps weren't just chocolates anymore, they were precious gems, expertly scanned, and gently placed in the bag she definitely asked if I wanted. I don't know what kind of cashier training program Pharmaprix has, but, after being served by her today, I am well and truly satisfied.
Went there when it was a x20 points promotion. However, the app wasn't working properly to load the offer. The girl at the beauty counter told me it was OK and worst case, I could contact Pharmaprix after to request the x20. I sent 3 emails using their online form after and never received an answer. Seems to have a lack of training so the staff give proper information. Unless they are paid at commission and will say anything just to sell ?
Cosmetics employees paid absolutely no attention to us at the cash, one of them was talking about her birthday and they were giggling ignoring us. Some guy, maybe their manager or a supervisor, tells them to talk about it later but then brings back the conversation while the lady scans our products. In no way was what she was wearing work-appropriate either - 3/4 of her... chest... was completely out of her shirt.
I have been a regular customer at Alexis Nihon Pharmaprix.for years. I have never had anything that came even close to a bad experience. The pharmacy staff are just wonderful. Each & everyone have a caring, polite & professional manner. The same can be said for the Beauty Shop & Post Office personnel & ‘ALL’ the floor staff. In fact I would like to take this opportunity to ‘THANK YOU’ all very much
I called earlier this morning to be told my prescription was ready. Went there and they told me I needed to wait to have it prepared. I was missing one dose of my perscription, so they had to prepare again. Waited another 15 minutes to get one more box of my perscription. Afterwards find out the med doc prescribed was over the counter. Never informed whether it was OCT or covered by insurance
the post office worker there is so slow. each time i go, it is always him working and every time he is always so slow. not only him being slow but he is also so rude. i don’t understand why he’s being rude when he’s the one super slow and incompetent. the last time i went, he literally said to me “what’s that”. he didn’t even know what to do, i had to tell him what to do exactly.
Before the redesign, this location was easily the worst I'd ever seen in terms of organization and selection. The redesign not only significantly improved the layout and selection, but the overall atmosphere as well. It is no longer a miserable place to shop and so I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 5 as it is now up to the standard of other Shoppers Drug Mart locations.
I went here immediately-after being at a different Pharmaprix and I noticed that a bunch of things are more expensive here (Listerine mouthwash a little pricier, Neutrogena skincare products way more; even the sale prices were like 30% more than at the Verdun Pharmaprix). This one has a bigger cosmetics section than most, but I would avoid it for daily-life shopping.
Recently renovated, looks great but prices are just $2 extra as compare to any other pharmacy in Montreal. Even items on discount are over-priced (like H&S was on discount for 7.99 and you can find same size at Jean coutu on a regular price of 7.49). Not much interaction with a staff, if its shut down in the mall, wouldn't make a difference.
Gosh what a ridiculously pleasant experience at a pharmacy! Who could have known we could have a wow factor while shopping for sunblock. The staff, especially at the skin products/ beauty section are simply the nicest and most helpful people! So welcoming and friendly! Highly recommended and will be coming back for all my pharmacy needs.
Very arrogant Algerian cosmetics sales woman behaving as she is the owner. I went there many Times and it seems that this lady ignore completely people who ask about a few bucks items. She always run behind rich old ladies to make them spending money for no need expensive items. Very pathetic person never seen !!
Pharmacy and delivery good. Store well stocked and clean. Friendly staff in the store. The Post Office, however, has a serious slowness problem and the staff can really unhelpful-I don't know if they work for Canada Post or Pharmaprix, but they should look at what goes on here especially during lunch time.
I wish I could give them Zero stars for the beauty section. My experience was terrible, I was looking for nail polish, and the staff treated me like a thief, They told me if I opened the nail polish I had to Buy it. The black man as a guardian yelled at me, he put me under stress… They are unprofessional.
This is the worst Pharmaprix location. It's tiny, not well organized, the flow though the store is weird and you have to circle back numerous times to find what you need. The staff is not available and doesn't seem to want to help. Not the best attitude either. I only go if there's no other option.
Waited > 2.5 hours for prescription meds for a fresh postoperative patient. They couldn’t find one of them and didn’t even bother to let the patient know. Zero efficiency and no communication while patient waits very uncomfortably for his necessary medications. This waiting time is unacceptable.
Pharmaprix was renovated and nice. It’s a big pharmaprix and busy doing some days but other than that. It’s a nice pharmacie snd they have a lot of options with many things to buy from. I do hope they have more things to buy from and better customer service. Other than that it’s a decent store.
Received very poor service from the pharmacy there with what I hope was a junior employee with poor training. She provided false information regarding my prescription and I had to prompt her multiple times before this was corrected. Very unprofessional and shows lack of proper training.
So I go to this pharmaprix on a regular basis because I work in the mall. Unfortunately the so called undercover security that works there makes me uncomfortable. It’s like every time I go in he seems to go in the direction I am, I’m not sure if it’s a racist thing but he needs to stop.
I really wish I could give this Pharmaprix more stars, but I can't... The general store area is pretty good and the cashiers are always great. But the prescription desk is often an issue and there is a poor selection of make-up. I love that there's a post office there!
When ever I buy every thing I’m satisfied Also if there’s any problem with products, manager will change it for you or will give u back the refund, 3 days ago I got a Rimmel but it was dried, I didn’t have the box but they changed it for me easily :)
This place is clean and the staffs are friendly. There's no frozen foods section so if you're looking for the eggs, frozen pizzas or ice creams that you've seen on the flyer, you won't find them there. Not really crowded despite being inside a mall.
Would like to thank the gentleman that saw me on my worst day after getting an extraction, offered me napkins to wipe my face dry. Sorry I couldnt thank you properly due to extreme pain I was experiencing. Thank you and God bless your good heart.
Well its Pharmaprix, naturally overpriced! But what irritated me was the girl at the pharmacy counter when I asked about breast pumps. She wasn't informed and said stuff that weren't true.. she said i needed to buy a 70$ kit in addition to
The worst pharmacy ever, told them i had 15 minutes to catch the bus they said they can get it done, they took 45 minutes for a simple order, gave me the order short ( 1 box instead of 3) said they would give me a copy of my prescription
old lady worker thought i was shoplifting but didn’t say anything about my white friends, i was wearing a 100$ hoodie,400$ bag and 300$ shoes, but i’m asian and she thinks i’m shoplifting. that lady definitely racially profiled me …
Never in my life have I been so offended. I walked in today with a backpack because I had class and I was killing time before my exam..... little did I know before I walked in there that I would be followed around when I was PURCHASING
It is very OK. Large drug store that carries besides a multitude of additional products not dierectly related to drugs. Best to drop in and view around. On special sales day even more attractive! Home cleaning products an interesting
I recently moved into the area. I The Pharmacy is large & has everything you need, including a beautiful New Beauty Boutique. Nina served me in the New Beauty Boutique & the Service was Excellent. I will definitely be going back!
The post never answers, I called 4 times. Then I called customer service, the lady transferred me again to post , that never answered again holding me 30 min . I called back customer service 3 times, they never answered.
I usually avoid this particular cashier because I know she keeps making mistakes and lacks customer service ALL THE TIME, but today since her cash was free, I had no choice so I decided to give her another try.
Apparently hasn’t updated their opening hours since Christmas. We went to this location at 7 on Saturday and the salesperson rudely chased us away and told us they changed the schedule 4 months ago
I gave this place a poor review and they took it down. I would give a zero. My experience staff can’t communicate with customers. I would give them a zero. You get profiled here.
Waited for over an hour for the incapable staff to give me the medicine needed for my prescription. It was only antibiotic. Really nothing complicated. Clear problem with staff.
The pharmacy at this Pharmaprix is very badly run. You can expect them to make anything from small to serious errors so watch out. Always double check your meds.
1- For the pharmacist: The pharmacist's duty is to be nice and patiently answer the patient's questions, not with impatience and bad manners ...
I’ve always been with pharmaprix at different locations but this by far is the BEST. Kind, attentive, and effective service
For Perfumes and Cosmetics go to SEPHORA! They don’t let you get near anything and walk around you like a thief.
Best pharmacy - hands down. Cosmetic's personel very friendly, though not invasive. Have always found their
Love the staff! always so helpful and nice when it comes to my prescriptions
Working hours are not correct and the staff didnt watch their manner !
