I wish I would’ve found this playground and splash pad sooner. This is a must-do for anyone with small children that they are trying to keep busy and occupy (so you don’t lose your mind over the summer). This park is amazing. It has a multi-age level playground, swings, climbing contraptions, splash pad, a multitude of food/dessert trucks/on site bathrooms and shaded sitting areas. Recommend bringing a change of clothes and feel free to bring your own snacks if you would like as they are plenty of trash cans and recycling receptacles all over the park. Additionally, I did not see anyone taking a bath in a splash pad or harassing any of the parents for change. The playground is a mix of rubber turf and mulch. So I would recommend close-toed shoes. Don’t forget the sunscreen! This playground is not shaded. If you want to cool down you run over to the splash pad. About five minutes from this playground is also a running trail, basketball court, confidence course, dog park, and bicycle park where I saw several young, helmeted children testing out their moves on the bike park ramps. It’s worth the drive to check out. Trust me, you will spend several hours there!

Excellent free public place to have fun. Open to the general public, large outdoor space. Benches to eat your own food and drinks, Place to play soccer, football, etc. There are several large playgrounds. There are carts selling shaved ice, ice creams, hot dogs, soft drinks and water. There are ample spaces to ride your ATV, bicycle, skateboard or rollerblades. Close to San Antonio Downtown by car. You must bring your own food preferably. Open from 6am to 11pm. Excellent place within San Antonio Tx to live with nature and do outdoor activities. 100% recommended. Clean restrooms.

Hands down one of the best playgrounds we've been to on our travels. We always scope out playgrounds in new cities, and Texas has some great ones. This is top 5 of all time for my kids. There are so many different things to climb, spin, and jump on, ninja course for adults and older kids, splash pad, skate park, giant hills to climb with nice views. Bathrooms, free ample parking, there was even an ice cream truck parked here. All on a repurposed landfill, great use of an otherwise wasted space.
Playground
Varied and unique
Restrooms

Been coming here since it first opened. I like it and so does my kids kinda sucks about the zipline but oh well. The water park is cool for everyone. I love hiking, skateboarding, basketball They added more stuff in the side back for the adults to do exercise which is pretty cool. I wont get tired of this park

Very fun, I love the park sometimes it gets really crowded but I don’t mind it’s fun anyway. I like everything about it tbh I don’t have any complains at the moment
Playground
It’s fun but it gets wet and then the slides become super slippery
Picnic area
It has a wide and open space for picnics

Big area for the kids to play! Multiple playground sets in one area. It also includes a splash pad and a covered area. There is an area on the front side of the park designated for dogs as well. It could use a larger parking area, but other than that, I highly recommend it for the kids!! More

My go to park! Lots of different things to do from bike park to fishing the pond and hiking up a hill to see the jets practicing. The splash pad in summer is also amazing if I had a dog I would definitely take it to the dog park. Definitely a must!

This place is always such a big hit with our grandchildren! They can get wet at the splash pad. Play on the playground. Climb, swing, slide, walk on a trail. We always bring a snack and sit under a covered area and throw out a quilt for the little ones to sit on. Nice and relaxing.

We went on a colder early morning. It wasn't too busy, although I'm sure it gets packed on sunny days Excited to check out the splash pad once it's back in season! Neat seating for little ones, on their tables. Steep hills to climb, for those interested. And an amazing play area

Good place to take my dogs for walks. Has hills to walk up so it’s a good challenge compared to other walking trails. Some stepper than others so you can challenge yourself and gradually build up to the harder steeper hills. This separates this park from the rest. More

i love this park! it’s got everything. i just wish it was cleaned up more often, there’s always so much trash thrown around every time we go. Other than that, I love the hiking trail it’s so peaceful! The playground has so much to keep your kiddos entertained.

Huge playground. Lots of modern equipment like a zip line swing. An entire obstacle course across the parking lot. A splash pad. Bathrooms, Pavillion, skate park. Nice to walk as well. Love the little landing on top the hill looking toward the lil airport.

First time going it was better than I imagined, my son loved all the water and K the kids running around. He had a blast and the ice cream trucks are really good. I suggest take your own chairs if you don't want to sit next to everyone . More

We accidentally hiked up the hill starting at the obstacle course. We didn't plan on that but my daughter is into bug hunting as she calls it. Oh my gosh, be sure to take waters and proper footwear lol. Again it wasn't planned and I didn't

  • Brianna

Awesome park!! Great view at the top of the hill also... only thing I can complain about is all the wasps around the splash pad, it was infested.. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my son to play because those things were huge and were out

  • Brenda Rice

Great place for a family outing. Has workout stations, playground, trails and splash pad in the summer. There are picnic tables and restrooms with plenty of parking. Oh not to mention a skate park too. Also great for pets.

Nice spacious park for the kiddos! It does get crowded but there’s a ton of playground equipment for the kids! There’s also ice cream trucks and bubble tea truck to cool you down on a hot summer’s day of playing!

  • Angel

Pearsall Park is a great place to walk and run. And for the kids the water park is open, and they have a playground right next to it. Not to mention the water will be great for the heat

  • Clarissa Gold

I love this park. It's the best in San Antonio in my opinion. Long trails, hills, and a big playground for the kids. There's even a skate park and basketball court.

  • Victoria Colleen (Vital Chaos)

Very cool place to go. There's a water park, ninja warrior course, skate park, walking trails and observatories. Only wish the place stayed open to public 24/7

  • Dawn Bench

This park is beautiful and big, the playground is quite huge and the splash pad is fun for all ages. We have come here 2 times so far and plan to visit more.
