Came specifically for their three coquettes. Was not very enthusiastic about them as they were not so fresh but I suspect it may have been unusual because the place was definitely very authentic and good otherwise. Had my fav portuguese sodas, their bolos levedos were excellent, and they had all the other classic portuguese items. Come for also frozen croquettes and chorizo and Portuguese buns etc You’ll find their tables filled with portuguese people and such. Will return!

Although the lady wanted to please me with fresher 'Nata' pastry, it was not a good day. I was therefore told to try the day old pastry. I was so disappointed with this scenario because this should not be the case. You can't compare the two. I ended up getting some of their fresh Portuguese bread buns which were very appreciated. I don't think I'll be going back. Many more places that compete.

Delta coffee is amazing and natas were the closest thing to those in Bélem. Unfortunately, the service is not very warm nor welcoming.

A very nice bakery/pastry shop with portugese style delicacies. You can enjoy having a cup of espresso at the shop (4-5 small tables) or order for a take out. They take cash, credit card and debit so don't worry for the payment options. Try their portugese biscuits and natas.

my favorite bakery in the world probably i had the best donut of my life here it was so fresh i think they made it less than 1/2 hour ago it was still warm and the taste was immaculate and a bun that the staff recommended which i also loved i would come back again and again

The Portuguese bakery in the area. While there are others within walking distance of each other, this is certainly the busiest and most well-stocked of the bunch. I had to wait in a long line to get my goodies and the crowds say it all. My top pick... -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

  • Cilei Soleil

I tried some natas and a piece of cake. The cake was way too sweet, and the natas also disappointed me. However, what bothered me the most was the cashier's rudeness. Luckily Montreal has amazing places to visit and give my business. I will never go back there.

  • Primrose Fernandes

Love this place. Cozy bakery. Portuguese Buns are really good and get sold out pretty fast. All the savouries like the fish cakes etc are so good... difficult to choose... everything looks tempting. Desserts, sandwiches and coffee too. They open pretty early...

Sitting down with their espresso, a couple of freshly baked natas and my best friend is "my cup of tea"! The cheerful and chatty local clientele is quite an amusing crew to observe! Like the scene a lot. Extremely warm and friendly …

  • Sarah

I adore getting an espresso and slice of cake for less than $5 including tip! Great place to people watch and get together for coffee, a true hidden gem. They make fresh bread, sell doughs, have great natas, and even do savoury pies.

  • Paula Tavares

Amazing bakery. If you’re looking for natas this is the place to go! My wife is obsessed with the pastries from here! You can easily find parking on the street or even double park for a few minutes

  • Ana Oliveira

Great variety. Would have liked yellow corn bread. A good goto for Portuguese products. Frozen fish, meats, sausage, variety of packaged products from Portugal. Variety of Bread, pastries etc..

  • Flying Ecosystem

It is a quick stop for great Portuguese pastries, sandwiches, coffee, vienoiseries and bread presented in a not so sophisticated way. You might want to try the nattas and the crème renversée.

  • dlz

I had a very bad experience at this pastry last Saturday. The clerk was very rude to me (twice!!) while I was ordering! I canceled the order at the same time and left. I do not recommend it!

  • Sarah Pi

Where can you find 9 delicious, fluffy, european-like sandwich buns from the day before for 1,50$? Here. Everything they sell is good, they've got great prices, I just LOVE this bakery.

  • Thomas Volle

  • Gail Robins

Love this little bakery. Great for breakfast or lunch. They make a daily vegetable soup and it’s always delicious. The ladies are all very sweet just like the pastries that they serve.

  • Ralph Spandl

This bakery is one of the reasons why we love the Plateau: Traditional Portuguese bakery offering fresh sandwiches (try the one with sole fillet), amazing pastry and other goodies.

  • Simon McKenzie

Cozy little bakery. Very friendly ladies and the pastries were mostly good. The cream donut was amazing but the croissant was poor. Very cheap as well. Would definitely recommend

  • Marianna Surzenko

I have really mixed feelings about this place. Pastries were fresh and tasty, but personal was super rude, so our positive mood was ruined in minute. Will never come back again

  • MARIA THERESA D'ALMEIDA GOUVEIA

Best Portuguese bread in Montreal but the staff is really loosing it's respect. Talking about clients between eachother when the client is standing there. Really ladies …

  • Phil Cote

  • Hal Le

Nice mix of pastries. Mostly catering to Portuguese desserts but also some French ones like millefeuilles. They have a good discount box for leftovers from the day before

  • best wishes

  • J. R

My wedding cake was made here 25years ago and still today I go buy my portugueses buns here or any portugueses pastries they have them allllll delicious …

  • Drew TwentyOneSixty

Despite posted hours of 2000 hrs, the place was closed at 7.15 pm when we arrived today. No notice on the door about different hours either. Very disappointed.

  • S D

Can’t have enough places like that in a city. It’s a pastry so the coffee is average but everything else is great. Try the creme caramel and the donuts.

  • Alexandra Mota

Best place for pasteis de nata and pasteis de bacalhau! I've been going since I was a child they are so kind and food is always amazing!

  • Ana Alberto Mann

I don't think Notre Maison belongs to portuguese owners anymore. A qualidade nao e a mesma! The quality is not the same as before.

  • Tiago Freitas

It's a typically Portuguese bakery that even includes the snoopy kind old ladies. It has a very familiar and homey atmosphere.

  • Andrei Lupu

Tried two (non-Portuguese) pastries: they weren't fresh and one was way too sweet. The people who served us were also rude.

  • Bakery Addiction

Exactly what I like, rustic , full and tempting products. Hard to decide, everything looks nicer I love what I try so far.

  • María Ramírez

I bought one of their cakes recently it was really bad, it seemed that the cake was there from 2 years ago!
