"Best croissant, sourdough bread, and carrot muffin I’ve ever had"
"I brought to the baristas attention that the hot chocolate was barely warm, and they offered to add hot water to it"
"I bought their sourdough Bâtard and I enjoyed every bite of it: its crust has 3 different colors and each of them provide distinct flavors; its crumb shows many different sizes of beautiful oval holes that is pretty good sign of long fermentation"
"My favorite bakery in montreal by far"
"The staff is very friendly"
Best croissant, sourdough bread, and carrot muffin I’ve ever had. This is what all bakeries aspire to be, and I wish I lived closer so I could exclusively buy my bread here. My five year old daughter said it’s the “best bread in the world.” They grind their own flour in house. You’ve gotta go.
I brought to the baristas attention that the hot chocolate was barely warm, and they offered to add hot water to it. Such a low standard service solution for a bakery with such high quality bread. In addition to that, they aren’t at all enthused when you ask about their bread selection More
I bought their sourdough Bâtard and I enjoyed every bite of it: its crust has 3 different colors and each of them provide distinct flavors; its crumb shows many different sizes of beautiful oval holes that is pretty good sign of long fermentation. This Bâtard hit the all the marks!!
My favorite bakery in montreal by far. I have had many almond croissants and Automne has the best one for sure. I love their baguettes and loafs, flavor, quality ingredients and freshness is priority here. The service is always great and I feel the place has a very home vibe.
The staff is very friendly. There’s no indoor seating, but they have terrace on both side of the shop. Their chai latte and pain Batard (Sourdough Bread) were delicious. We also got the Camellia tea bag 20g for 14$. Must try if you enjoy flavoured sense.
Very well made pastry and knowledgeable staff. On top of that the coffee was very good and the ambiance was very nice. The quiche was incredible. Perfectly cooked. We live in the US and I can never find quiche that is well done like that. Bravo.
So sad that we came a bit late (11:30am) and they had run out of croissants due to a busy morning. Ended up getting a slice of tomato and basil flat bread and it was delicious. The bread was fresh and tasted better the more you chewed on
Unfortunately my experience was not as pleasant as other clients. I found the staff a bit cold when I visited around noon on a Sunday. The croissant was dry and not the delicate, flaky pastry I was expecting. As for the bread it was clearly
Went for the first time today, and while I don't want to give a horrible review (everything "looked" great) I ordered this olive bread and when I got home saw that it was burned. So, almost half of it was inedible, and the other half we ate
Great croissants! I did feel judged by the guy behind the counter for not saying croissant the French way, but worth a visit. Came here at 10:30am on a Friday and there were plenty of croissants and other pastries left. There was a slight
I just moved to Montreal and this was just a gem to find, a beautiful bakery. Really clean, minimalist atmosphere and big wood tables. They make gorgeous sourdough and just beautiful baked goods. There’s a love and attention to detail in
Welcoming neighborhood bakery producing some of the most flavorful and high quality breads, pastries, and cookies in Montreal. As we stood in line we noticed that this place was quite popular amongst the locals with many of them ordering
This place used to be great. But lately, the pastries are cooked too much and sometimes seemed a bit burnt. The customer service is terrible. I order online ahead of time and there's been so many issues with errors, missing items. The
walked into this place randomnly while running errands and...this might be the best cappuccino ive ever had in my life. Jesus mcjeebus what a great way to start the morning. Also the poblano croissants man, you gotta try em
I got there today at 3:45pm snd snatched the last croissant, so go early if you want choices. The outside of the croissant was tougher than I like, but still good. The inside was light and moist; so lovely!
We highly recommend the brioche with sugar and raisin and cinnamon bread. Deep, intense flavor, wonderful crumb - absolutely delighted with the two items we purchased. Would love to return and try more!
Excellent croissants and chocolate chips cookies; so buttery and yummy!! The olive bread was awesome as well! The coffee was just ok; had an Americano to go with sugar and milk/cream. Friendly service.
The smell of fresh crusty bread and coffee gives a warm welcome. The staff is very friendly and in a happy mood. Nice experience, even I can’t count how often I’ve been the over the years.
The sweets were very good and the flavours unusual. For instance the custard and blueberry tart had a nice buckwheat shell. The lattés are simple but tasty with a distinctive coffee flavour.
Best bakery I have been so far. Glad that I lived just a few minutes away. Everything is on point so fresh and so well executed! The baguette is crispy, soft in the inside.
The croissants are the best we've ever had. The texture and buttery flavor...and overall experience is just excellent. Its a must stop for us when we're in Montreal. More
my favourite bakery in the neighbourhood. personal favourite is the cardamom roll, ginger cookie and literally any bread they make. beautiful place.
Nice variety of breads. I try the ham and cheese croissants and it was really good, whit some sesame seeds on top. The espresso was excellent too.
Great quality baguette and the best quiche ever - seriously. The customer service is the best in Montreal. Just lovely and passionate people.
Fantastic bread! I have had their batard and croissants in other places in the city (cafes and restaurants) so I decided to go in person.
This was my favorite place in Montreal! One of my biggest regret was not stopping by here again before we left to get more goodness!
My wife looked this place up to try. God bless her. Hands down the best croissant that I have ever had in Canada.
Best croissants I've had this side of town. Their staff is super friendly and the baked goods are delicious. More
Oh boy, how do you start? Go early, worth the wait in line and buy just a bit more than you think you should.
