My brother gave me a gift certificate to Orange Theory for Christmas. As you are unable to reserve a spot online with a gift card, I called the Town & Country location to confirm my spot. They confirmed my spot and assured me that it would be no problem to redeem the session when my gift card in person that day. When I arrived and pulled out my gift card, the front desk attendee immediately starting rambling about not accepting it, she had no idea why gift cards were sold, it would not be accepted here, etc. After her ramble came to a close, I explained that, yes, my brother purchased the gift card in Katy. She said that I could only use it there. I replied back that: 1. No where on the gift card did it explain which location it could be used. 2. The gift card had the same logo and information as her shirt, the signs in the building, etc. So it was very confusing that they couldn't accept something sold at a sister store. 3. My brother asked before he purchased it where it could be used, and he was assured that it could be used at this location because this where I live. While I can understand that this business practice is not something the woman (turns out she was the manager) controls, she gave poor customer service. 1. She did not apologize for my convenience. Instead, she continued to pass the buck and blame the Katy location. Even when I expressed that i was unsatisfied because I had arranged my schedule around this workout, she did not apologize. Only after I pointed out that she never said I'm sorry did she give an apology--pretty disingenuous. 2. When I explained that I could not afford to pay the drop-in because I had no planned for the cost and am a teacher, she did not offer to comp the class. She legitimately seemed surprised that I was inconvenienced. Again, the manager had the opportunity to fix this situation with an apology and comping my class. After all, it's the company she works for poor policy that put me in the predicament. It was also her employee that assured me on the phone that I could use my gift card. Instead, she was defensive, reactive and insincere. When I called to follow up, she did not return my call. While I enjoyed the workout, the customer service is poor, immature and unprofessional.

The workouts are excellent and you get results. I like the music (although it is wayyy too loud at this studio) and the energy of the instructors. It's a nice setup although a bit cramped and small. HOWEVER, the customer service is horrendous. They are completely unforgiving, unapologetic, and they DO NOT negotiate. EVER. You tell a staff member you want to cancel but if they forget to do it, it's your word against theirs and their word ALWAYS wins. I got charged for a class that I asked to cancel that they didn't cancel me from days ahead of time. Next time I ask to cancel, I will be recording with my phone. Also, for the employee discounts they didn't tell me at orientation what I would need. When I went for my real class and asked about my employee discount and said I had to have something with my company name. Well my insurance card and badge didn't have my name and they do not take business cards. They would not even take an email from my corporate account, which has my corporate domain name. That is the only thing that I had with my name. They asked for my pay stub, which has all my confidential info on it! I had to argue this one seriously and finally they accepted something that seemed really stupid to me and which you could totally fake. Also, the classes here in the evenings are ALWAYS booked like 2 weeks in advance or more. This makes it very inflexible for me because you have to cancel 8 hours in advance or you get charged. They told me to actually go ahead and book my classes weeks in advance and wait until the last minute to cancel or you have to keep calling them to see if somebody canceled and there is an opening. This is very tiring and time consuming, and God forbid you forget to tell them or they do not hear you when you tell them you want to cancel your class, because you will get charged. Given all these experiences, lack of professionalism and flexibility, and the high cost (it's not like this is cheap, we deserve better customer service for what we're paying) I am starting to get motivated to find myself another studio because I don't want to put up with this anymore. Oh and if I told them I wanted to cancel they won't care either. They don't do anything to retain people.

BUYER BEWARE!  Do NOT join OTF if you have to travel on a freeway in Houston.  I've been a member for two years, go faithfully every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm (which scheduling is a whole other major problem with this place) and get turned away when I am one minute past their ridiculous 5 minute late policy!  I called in advance and was told they were aware of the major accident on I-10 but they couldn't bend on the policy.  I tried anyway since I was almost there.  They say it is for my safety as I haven't warmed up enough if I'm past 5 minutes.....bull.......I'm a 46 year old woman who has worked out my entire adult life.  I know what I can and can't do.  Then they say it's because I will disrupt the class because the instructor has already given instruction and they will have to give me individual attention to explain what I have missed.  That is laughable!  I've done every work out they have over the last two years.  I can jump in and catch up without any help and even if they did, really 15 seconds of filling me in is disrupting the class?!  New people are confused all the time and have to get "individual attention".  I'm an adult who is paying $159 a month to patronize the establishment.  And to add insult to injury, I just upgraded my membership to unlimited and got my husband to join who emailed last week about upgrading his membership.  Between the two of us, we will be paying this establishment over $300 a month and this is the way I am treated.  ONE minute!  Not five, not ten, not thirty!  If a manager doesn't have the ability or common sense to override this pathetic business practice, no wonder no one wants to work there.  The turnover behind the desk is outrageous.  They have "mistakenly" forgotten to book classes for me on several occasions over the years, their booking app is down often, the heart rate monitors don't work well, but I roll with it because I like the work out.  Not anymore!  I'm out.  They obviously do not value their customers and think they can fill the spot with the next sucker.  One day OTF won't be the newest fad on the market and then they will want the loyal customers they screwed over back. Disgruntled, Robin Sample

I am a physician in town for a few days from Atlanta and wanted to get a work out in. I called the Tanglewood location which was waitlisted for all the morning sessions.... so I decided to try this location since my hotel was halfway between the two. Me and a colleague stopped by to check out the studio and decided we were going to sign up for a class the next morning. There was a guy and girl at the front desk and no class in session at that time. I signed my waiver and made small talk however he was not really enthusiastic or welcoming or even bothered to look me in the eye. A friend of mine was going to try a work out with me and he asked her if she lived in the Houston area and when she said “no” and the free workout became a $28 work out. I assume that was because they knew she would just be working out and she would not be getting a membership in Houston ... but that’s not to say she would not join when she got back to Atlanta if she liked it.... so I thought it was a poor move on his part. Then to top it off he started giving her advice about her work out and told her to be there 15 minutes early and then actually looked at her and ask her if she could be there 15 minutes early as if she wouldn’t be ( looking and talking to her as if she were a 5 year old or irresponsible) and he didn’t expect her to be. And then he proceeded to give her advice on what to wear and even made the comment “no shorty shorts” “ no middrifts”I’m like what the Heck? Who does that ? Lol ...did he really think we didn’t know how to dress when we work out? I’ve been a premier member of Orange Theory for over two years neither one of us looked like rachet woman walking in off of the street! I have visited many Orange Theory locations and occasionally you get this funky vibe ... didn’t like it so I called back and cancelled my workout...So unfortunately I cannot comment on the studio itself or the class or the instructors as I never made it past the front desk. It may actually have been a great workout ?!

FUN PLACE TO WORKOUT - ATTEND RESPONSIBLY Strict no-show / late cancellation policy. First time offense will not be waived. $12 each time. I honestly thought I had a 6 pm class but was registered on the app for a 6 am class. I recognize this was a mistake on my part. I have never "no-showed" before as this is not my nature. But when I asked for a one-time waive, the employee stated their system cannot issue refunds/credits at all. I find this suspicious given our technology in 2021. I only go because my current company pays for my membership. I will cancel my membership in the future. I would not recommend attending if you pay out of your own pocket. Because, even if you wake up sick in the morning and cannot attend a class, you will be charged for not cancelling 8 hours in advance. You could get hit by a car and not show and you will be charged. I actually asked them when I first signed up. The employee said if you are sick and cannot go, you will still be charged. This is a health and safety issue now because a person could be slightly sick but still go to not be charged a fee -- thus infecting all the other gym attendees. Sigh. **Update** Orange Theory did call me back to discuss the situation more. I was fortunate to speak with Danni, who I know and find pleasant to be around. She was able to issue me a refund and listened with great understanding. Hence, I changed the 1 star to 5 stars. Also, it is worth mentioning that I think all the coaches at this one location are fantastic instructors. Amber, Michelle, Natalia, and Kyle make the hour quite enjoyable and pay attention to me and my daughter. I really value and notice how they pay special attention to my daughter when she is lifting weights to ensure her form is good. And how they notice when she's not with me. It makes me feel seen and cared for. And I can workout while my daughter lifts the weights correctly on her own with the teacher!

Sadly, I had the worst experience at this place the SECOND I walked in the doors. My friend has been coming to this place for months including my boyfriend's family. They have spoke sooooo highly of them. I signed up yesterday (April 7th) to register for a free trial class with my friend at 5:30 p.m. I was told to come 20 minuets early to go over safety and equipment. While my friend and I were pulling in they called me exactly at 5:10p.m. to see if I was coming. I told them I was parking and they said "perfect! we will see you soon!" When I walked in the door at 5:12 , the first lady gave me the paper work to fill out. Literally!!!! I MEAN LITERALLY, 15 SECONDS LATER the STUDIO MANAGER told me I can't join the class and need to sign up for the 6:45 pm. class. I was so confused and speechless. I told the lady "No, I can't because I am here for the 5:30 class to do it with my friend. I don't want to do it without her." She said "You are supposed to be here 20 minuets early and you are late. We have to show you around, go over the equipment, and safety." I told her I understand but I showed up a few minuets late. It was so awkward and felt so embarrassed in front of everyone. Then my friend came out wondering why I didn't change into my workout gear. I told what had happened, thinking my friend can convince her to let me workout at 5:30 p.m. and the STUDIO MANAGER said NO. She kept on assisting to join the 6:45 p.m. class. we said no. When my friend join the class, I decided not to reschedule because of how she treated me. NOT ONLY THAT THE PEOPLE THERE INCLUDING THE COACH WAS SHOCKED HOW SHE TREATED ME!!! I HAD TO TELL HER FIVE TIMES TO NOT CHARGE MY CARD $30.00 FOR SHOWING UP A FEW MINUETS LATE! AND TAKE A PICTURE! I REALLY WANT TO THANK Y'ALL FOR MAKING ME A MEMBER AT F45. THEY HAVE BETTER SERVICE AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE.

OTF doesn’t care about new clients and will waste both your and their time making sure you know you don’t matter, if you don’t arrive over 25 minutes before your first class. The long story: I arrived to the 6:15am class over 20 minutes early for my first class and I was super excited to try! Unfortunately, the staff told me that we didn’t have enough time to get all of the paperwork and show me the studio. Over the phone yesterday, they said to be there around 5:45am to make sure that we could get the consultation done and get fitted with a heart rate monitor. They did not say that if I didn’t get there by a certain time I would not be able to work out. Miguel at the studio called me at 5:48am when I was getting off the highway and said that if I wasn’t there by 5:50am I couldn’t work out. I told him I was going as fast as I can to get there and asked if we could start the consult over the phone and he said no. When I arrived at 5:53, I filled out all my paperwork, and then he wasted the entire time discussing how he was too busy to help me and that we didn’t have time, but he wasn’t actually doing anything. I offered to do the class without a heart rate monitor to save time, and they said no. The previous class was still going on and the trainer wouldn’t have been free to show me the studio until around 6:05am anyway. I’m sure the classes are great but customer service at this location is abismal, definitely lost a potential client, instead of making a 3 minute exception. Thanks, Miguel.

This place SUCKS! i called asking for information about the workout... they called me in to speak to a guy named Hunter. So i went to the gym and had the tour and everything they told me i was going to be set up for a free class for a Monday. A associate called me the day off to confirm my class as well as my wife's class. when we got there they acted like they didn't know us! so they re scheduled us for a Wednesday... come Wednesday i called to confirm my class they called me after an hour to confirm my class again then i received a TEXT to confirm class and i confirmed again for the 3rd time that day. so i showed up just for them to tell me they had drop me from the class cause i wasn't confirmed and wast there early enough to take a tour!!! after i had done the tour already and after i had gave them my credit card to reserve the class and once they found out that i had done all that they said well you are 25 min early but our rules state you have to be 30 mins early!!! so for 5 min my class was canceled again (The staff was extremely rude and didn't care to fix the situation) obviously they don't care to make $320 a month on two customers!! i would never recommend this facility to anyone.

I’m still in my first month of classes, but I’m already considering a long term commitment. PROS: Great coaches with clear knowledge of fitness. There is a lot going on at the same time in each class, but the coaches are very attentive and aware of all class participants. I feel like I’m getting a full body workout each time and can see/feel progress quite quickly. Very little time is spent “on break.” Constant movement, intervals, and block changes in one class surely keeps the muscles challenged! Front desk staff has also been very welcoming and helpful when I enter. CONS: The biggest downside is booking classes. I’m often on the waitlist during my desired time slots. The system allows people to repeat bookings, which doesn’t give everyone a fair shot at registering for the classes they want. I’m also finding myself having to register weeks in advance to guarantee a spot, but my schedule changes often so this makes it more difficult. The other downside was I wasn’t aware you had to buy a heart monitor until after I had already signed the paperwork. That fee would have been helpful beforehand. I was still happy to join either way, but wish it would have entered the conversation earlier.

I've heard many good things about Orange Theory and I hate to brush the entire organization with what occurs at one franchise. I've been a member at several gyms and have never been treated with such disregard as I have at this location at Town and Country. Wanting to try out my free class, I signed up and on arrival to the facility was berated by the staff and pressured into signing a commitment. At this time, I am transitioning back to Houston and wanted to try out different gyms in the area before making a decision. On hearing that I would not immediately sign a contract, I was then informed by the manager that I would be charged a $28 drop in fee (for the free class) that I signed up for. I understand the pressure to sign people up, but to discriminate based on availability is poor customer service at best and false advertising to charge for a free class. I would have liked to have given this facility my membership, but I will take my business elsewhere that respects a person's decision to try a facility before making a commitment. Please consider other options before this one.

*not all Orange Theorys are created equal. Go somewhere else* I wanted to love Orange Theory, the workouts can be engaging, I did get into great shape, but it's become impossible to overlook their unflinchingly rigid and harsh "corporate" policies (despite being franchised). This studio in particular is the worst in that case, they won't help with medical leave, their app bumps you into the waitlist when you've been registered in the class for days, they're unaccommodating when it comes to your work schedule, and all their classes after normal work hours are booked weeks in advance. Not to mention the insanely high turnover rate of coaches, studio assistants and managers. Kyle is an outstanding coach and I'll miss him, Michelle is good too, but because of this specific studio I will be quitting. I've heard the heights studio is a lot better, so if you're insistent on sticking with OT try going there instead. Otherwise there's an amazing F45 just down the road that's open and welcoming and cares about their customers.

I'll preface this with my home gym is the location in the Energy Corridor (For my full summary/review of OTF overall, check out my review posted under my review for Orangetheory Fitness Energy Corridor) - Town & Country (this location) is right next to City Centre. The Front Desk staff is very friendly, helpful, and personable. Although my home gym/Energy Corridor is newer, and closer to my home, I specifically drive to this location 2x a week to see Coach Natalia - Anyone who has ever attended a group/boutique/class-oriented gym or studio knows that the quality of your workout (all other variables being equal) boils down to your Coach/Instructor. Each coach has their own style of coaching - How they demo exercises, track time, and their playlists for classes (don't underestimate how much the right music can really help you maximize a workout, especially for pacing on the treadmill) - Natalia is on point every time.

  • Karena Hauter

The workout is great and the trainers are great....but the customer service and front desk policies are ridiculous. I've been a member almost two years, attend 4-5 classes most weeks, have lost over 100 lbs. but lately I've reached my limit with all the other nonsense. I was supposed to be out of town this weekend and when my plans changed, I tried to book some workouts. Of course everything was full so I put myself on the wait list for three classes Sunday hoping I could at least get into one of them. They cancelled me from two of them saying it was their policy not to be on more than one wait list (which has never been a problem in the past) and of course the one they left me in was the one where I was highest up on the list and they booted me from the ones I was #2 and #3 on. It truly makes me sad to be canceling my membership now over something so silly that they could easily correct and avoid.

I think Orangetheory is an effective workout. In & out within an hour and you feel the results within weeks. I'm also a person who enjoys data, so seeing real-time data on the screen during the class is motivating for me. Speaking as a former athlete, it was easy to fall out of shape after college. With a coach-led class, I am able to show up, turn my brain off and just let my body do the work. Having a motivating coach and people around you also gives off a bit of a competitive feeling that the athlete in me enjoys. I have done other workouts that are lower-impact/intensity, but I see the most efficient results with Orangetheory's HIIT programming. Every workout is different, you can modify anything you need to and I go to pretty much any coach. I'll choose my favorite coaches based on their playlists! Lol. OT and meal prep have gotten me back to where I want to be both mentally and physically.

I love the workouts at orange theory but the cancellation policy is too strict. I had booked a class at Memorial but thought it was San Felipe. Once I got to San Felipe I tried calling Memorial but no answer to find out if I can get in the class if I was a little late. Unfortunately Memorial was under construction and I was going to get there after the 5 minute grace period. I called again and someone answered, I told them what was happening and they said no, I was already past the 5 minutes but there was another class right after. I said ok can I get in without you charging the cancellation fee and the answer was no. This was bad enough but the really insulting thing about the policy is that they can cancel a class for whatever reason with no consequences. I am not sure why they charge for cancellations unless the class is overbooked. Really bad policy.

  • Vanessa Lobo

Went there today to try out a free class, one of the female hosts made sure to make me feel uncomfortable about showing up without an ID stating I lived in Houston, I clarified that I just moved from Colorado, she still had the need to say: I'm going to give you the class just because you're here but my colleague shouldn't have booked you. I showed a bill with a Houston address and she still had an attitude like she was doing me a favor. Unnecessary.. The class was fine, there wasn't correction on posture at any point, just a small explanation of the movement and a tv to guide you. For that, the rude host and the fact that you have to pay separate for a heart rate monitor (to see if you're working out in the orange zone and calorie count), I doubt that I'll come back.

  • Caleb D

No chill… My girlfriend went to check out a class here, seriously considering a membership. She did the pre-registration online and everything, and then showed up a few minutes late for the walkthrough. The girl at the front desk was rude and blew her off, refusing to give the walkthrough and let her do the class with the excuse that she was a couple minutes late. She showed up to take a 6:15 class at 5:50 instead of 5:45 and was sent home. To make matters worse a friend had driven from across town to join her! Definitely not considering a membership here anymore, I guess these people pride themselves on being sticklers or something.

  • Leah Mcfarland

This location is dishonest, corporate is a racket and after 5+ years of being a member I've been pushed over the edge to cancel my membership and will not be returning. You are a walking dollar sign to them, they charge you for no-shows when you're not even booked into a class. The extremely high turnover of coaches means you never get consistent coaching, as soon as a coach gets good they send them off to run another studio and bring in the next newbie. There are way too many other fitness options to put up with their nonsense. Michelle, the head coach, is awesome and we all will miss her.

  • Jonathan Emmons

Great coaches and office staff, very friendly group that gets to know the regulars and makes the new folks feel welcome. The workout programs are varied and they have multiple little promos and special classes throughout the year to keep things fresh. They're also great about keeping equipment clean and well maintained. My only gripe is that some of the better class times are filling up well in advance as the studio has gotten more popular, but I'm hoping that as the new area studios open up that will take some of the scheduling pressure off this location.

  • Andia Yazdani-Beioky

I love the variety I get with OTF workouts. I don't have to think about what exercise I am going to do next, they do all the work for you. It's a great community of people that keeps me motivated, and the coaches are attentive and personable. I have seen such a positive change in my body (after 3 kids in 3 years), and my cardiovascular health and endurance has improved significantly. I love that OTF is for all skill levels, ages, and body types. Would highly recommend OTF and in particular the Town and Country location staff is amazing.

  • P

Very strict late policy. I was coming in for the first time, was really looking forward to my class, and potentially joining since I live right down the street. I received a call exactly at 12 while I was driving, told the girl I was 2 minutes away, and was told I can't come in for my 12:30 class. I would have been 3 minutes late, but because I didn't fill out the liability form already I was told to reschedule. I completely understand late policies as they are very important in my field, but come on.. not even a 5 minute grace period??

  • Ronald Sthormes

We recently moved to tx I just came with a referral at this location, the lady at the front desk refused allowing him to take the class for not having a local ID. She was asking for more documentation that proved residency he even pulled his payroll documents and she refused him to access the location. This is the way of doing marketing? This is the way of getting new clients? She provided the worst customer service I've ever seen. Is stupid the way they kick out new clients. This is a very stupid decision have this person in charge.

  • Melodie Jordan

Every workout is different and challenging-no two days are ever the same. I love the coaches (Shout out to Amber and Michelle)-they encourage me to bring my best everyday even when I don't feel like I have anything left in the tank! I am also extremely competitive, so being able to see in real time what my body is doing compared to the person beside me is very motivating. OTF has been such a motivating force for me and is, hands down, my favorite fitness program that I have ever done by far.

  • Rashid Nazimuddin

In the past year I've had a great experience so far with OTF Town & Country. I've been a member of OTF for a few year now but at different locations (Sugar Land, West U, Baton Rouge), but Town & Country has been my favorite. The staff always greats me by my name and its always great to see their smiling faces especially when you are getting out of work at the end of the day and heading to OTF for a workout. They are also easy to work with if you have any issues. Thanks T&C.

  • Lindsey Holder

I definitely considered giving this place a try, and ultimately will be going to a competitor simply because of the absolute HOUNDING that the salespeople from this place have done to me. It is absolutely ridiculous. Calls EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Different times. Voice-mails left every single time, and I HATE voicemail. I blocked their number from calling me but I still get voice-mail daily. Absolutely horrible salespeople. Don't give them your number.

  • Lee Kwon

I agree with the other reviewers. The workout is pretty great. A combo of cardio with the treadmill/rower mixed in with light weights/suspension straps. But the management policies are becoming crazy. The classes are constantly full only to open up at the last minute on the waiting list etc.... So to schedule a class and be guaranteed a spot you have to book way in advance. So if you can get past that it may be worth it for you.

  • Steve Roberts

I get a full body workout every time I go. The sessions consist of treadmill, rowers, and a strength training area, with emphasis placed on heart rate to achieve optimal calorie burn. Sessions are limited to about 25 people so it's a good idea to use the app to schedule workout times since the studio is only available when sessions are held. Lockers are provided and three showers are available if needed after workout sessions.

  • alexa carter

This is by far the best workout for me. Well rounded, changes daily, energizing and fun! The staff and coaches are always helpful and attentive, which makes this a pleasant place to be. I always look forward to my workouts here, and have seen positive results in my weight and fitness level. Now I am running more, and the floor work is making my core stronger thanks to the coaches help and encouragement. Love it!

  • AnnMarie Cantu

I was going to sign up on additional membership after canceling another studio due to moving, but when coming up to a class time and I needing to switch times to the following class I was told I could not. I have never had this issues at other studios. I don't appreciate it being so hard to just switch a class especially since none of the classes I've attended have been full, nor is the one I signed up for.

  • Yasmine Sedky

Wonderful classes, always challenging, & the music rocks. John is the best trainer & my favorite. I love to wake up and start my day with OTF. The classes as challenging as they are, you always have a great workout & push yourself. OTF always has a great structure & push you to the limit. Y'all always change things up, and I never get bored. The town and country location is the best!! Super satisfied.

  • Nirmeen Valiani

I love working out now because of Orange Theory! I love the coaches (Kyle and Amber Rock!), they are always encouraging me and keeping me engaged. The intensity level of the workout is just right and I like that they change up the exercises and music everyday. It's never boring! After years of trying and failing, I have finally made exercising a habit and lifestyle.

  • Malcolm S

This is an awesome workout! If you like it intense, creative and enjoy listening to good music while you burn fat and calories then you'll love the Orange Theory workout. Not mention the Coach and staff are really great! They made me feel comfortable and the process was Breeze. I Can't want to do my next session! …

  • Mayoor Sharma

I have been to a number of Orange Theory locations across the nation. Town and Country is one of my favorites. The gym itself has plenty of room to navigate during your workouts. You never end up having the awkward collision while in the strength floor. The staff is friendly and motivating. The coaches are clearly the best I have experienced.

  • Sergio Savoy

Dylan's positive attitude and great music choices created a great environment to really push yourself. I also enjoyed his stretching regimen after class as I feel it was tailored to stretch the muscle groups we hammered during the workout that day. The upbeat and friendly attitude of all the staff help to make for a great workout experience.

  • Patrick Hudson

Love this studio. Wish it was my home studio. I’ve never experienced a coach so interested in making sure weight room and rowing form was so important. Also learned some equipment in my home gym may not be set up correctly. Love this studio for making me feel at home no matter who I am! Thanks John!!!!

  • Trista Kendall

Staff and Coaches are so nice and friendly always motivating you and are there to help you along the way. I love the challenge it brings and the encouragement/motivation the coaches give to you just when you are about to throw in the towel.... They keep you wanting to push yourself that much further!

Love the classes! The fact that everyday is a different challenge has really helped me with my fitness goals. It helps tremendously to have a coach guide you and push you along. Even when I don't feel like going, once I get there, I am motivated by everyone around me. I highly recommend!

  • Sarah Kabbani

Town and country is one of my favorite OTF location the coaches are amazing .. coach amber is one of the best coaches I’ve ever worked out with so far! she’s very welcoming and keeps you motivated throughout the workout. would definitely book her class again on my next visit to Houston.

  • Marty McWilliams

That the instructor was very specific in directing three groups of people. I like how the workout focuses on total body and body weight. I also liked seeing the type of shape that I was in and getting a summary of what I need to work on. I see myself becoming a regular at Orangetheory.

  • Felecia Ellis

Intense workouts that produce results, friendly trainers and staff, clean sanitary gym, and like minded amazing people who are working out just as hard as I am, as we encourage one another to keep going and "Don't Quit," that are all apart of the Orange Theory Family.

  • Andrea Micovic

The coaches are amazing! I love Coach Ezra & Amber are my favorite. They are encouraging, motivational, and challenging. The music is always great and every staff member is extremely friendly. I love how the workouts are different and push me to be better everyday!!

  • Chantel Matthews

Love that the classes offered are never the same so you don't know what to expect going in. Definitely great workouts encompassing cardio and strength. I enjoy the classes led by Larry, Brenda, and the 90 min session led by Michelle. Nice facility with nice staff.

  • Kathy Y

Been going here since 2017. I love the atmosphere, music, and the coaches get you pumped. It beats going to the gym any time of day. Ever since I started, I don't feel like I hit a plateau because they are always changing up the workouts. BTW, staff is awesome!

  • Emma Fisher

I love that the workout is already planned so I don't have to think about it. There are always alternate options for any move on the strength floor. The trainers are helpful and energetic without being obnoxious about it. The music is usually great!

  • Winterbottom Residential

I came up from Austin, TX for my daughters volleyball tourney and there was NO WAY I was just going to use the hotel gym! Convenient location! Lots of parking! Friendly staff and members! Love my extended OTF family in Houston! I'll be back!

  • Alexander Kanusas

My friends refered me to Orange Theory, quickly fell in love with it. Mainly because it's a great atmosphere, great coaches (Amber, Michelle, Natalia & Kyle) and team. I will say I do feel it is more of a Cardio workout, not necessarily

  • j

I love Orangetheory! I was consistent for a year then stopped doing it for a year. Now that I have made the decision to come back, I’ve missed the feeling and the welcoming atmosphere. Totally worth it!

  • Marilyn Cue

Best group workout classes I have attended to!!Coaches motivate and workouts push you to get stronger and tone every class. Highly recommend to join if you want to make a change in your workout goals.

  • Kristyn Greifer

The team of coaches and staff are awesome. The workouts are challenging but doable and you can continually push yourself to improve. All levels of fitness welcome and no judgement! I love it!

  • Matt Stowell

Was at an OTF event where head coach, along with other coaches, bragged about hooking up with the married members. Pretty classless leadership and management across all Houston locations.

  • Karen Billnoske

I’ve been back at OTF regularly now for two years. As many others, I’m ADDICTED! W HC Kyle and Amber giving everyone so much energy and love, you can’t not get a great workout l!!

  • Alessandra Simone (Ale)

Very unprofessional and misleading regarding cancellation policies. False advertisement regarding lack of contract. As a gym ok but nothing too spectacular. Would not recommend.

  • Jeanette Pappas

Orange theory offers personal training in a group environment while tracking your calaries burned and the monitoring of your 1 hour workout. No other gym offers these benefits!

  • Trish

The combination of treadmill, rowing machine, and weight floor is a perfect workout and the planned workouts push me in ways I would never push myself if working out on my own.

  • Julie Porter

I am coming up on my 7 year anniversary at Orangetheory and never get bored! I love the variety of exercises, the wonderful trainers and staff, and our beautiful new studio.

  • Chris Gonzalez

OTF TC always starts my day strong. By going early, no one can interrupt me-time. The coaches are lovely. When you get into a routine your class is like a family, too.

  • Ana Salinas

Love working out here ! Very efficient and to the point. I have already lost weight just coming 3-4 days a week for 2 mos. Never workout, this is my favorite workout !

  • Jill Kvalsten

I love that I come in and don’t have to think about. The workout is set, you have a coach cheering you on & in ~55 minutes your done & burned at least 500 calories.

  • April Dominick

OTF has been a great addition to my workout regime. What I like most is that it challenges my cardio capabilities and the classes are high paced and vary each time!

  • S V

These guys get my heart beating so fast; it’s fantastic! Good music and enthusiastic coaches makes this workout invigorating and super fun. Highly recommend!

I fell in love with this place the first day I went there, great classes, great coaches (Amber, Michelle, Kyle & Natalia) and great front desk staffs

  • Mónica Ortigoza

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in a fitness center. The studio Manager Kaneisha Smith does not know how to treat a client.

  • Lianet Brito

Love, love, love this studio. The guys at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Coaches are very knowledgeable and encouraging.

  • Mike Collins

Focused workout routines providing cardio and strength training all within an hour in an environment of teamwork and encouragement.

  • Allison

I love that no two workouts are ever the same. It's a great place to work out, and the trainers are very attentive to your ability.
