Nelson Howard is, by far, the best dentist I've ever had. Skilled, focused, intelligent and, above all, gentle. When I first came to him, a previous dentist in the Rancho Bernardo area had left me with an enormous bruise on my cheek after struggling to numb my very sensitive teeth enough to put a crown on. Dr. Howard is much better at placing the anesthetic and is kind and patient with pain-shy patients like me. He does beautiful crowns and fills, and cares about doing the work well--in fact, I'd say he's almost a perfectionist. At the same time, he's fair about pricing and never pushes unnecessary work. He provides clear information and guidance, but is respectful about letting me make decisions about my care and budget.

Dr Howard is the best dentist I've ever had.. and I have had quite a few detists!!! I had braces as a child and had to go to sooooo many office visits that I hated going to the dentist.... BUT NOW... i really do enjoy going to see Dr Howard. His staff is wonderful .. always so friendly and curteous.. and I love the dental hygenist.. they make my teeth feel so fresh and clean !! I would never go anywhere else. My husband also goes to see Dr Howard .. and my husband has a fear of dentist, but he feels so comfortable with DR Howard. thanks DR Howard for helping keep my teeth healthy and lookin' great!

Dr. Howard is awesome! My husband and I have been going to him for over 5 years now! He does fantastic work, and is meticulous. Not only that but he makes your experience as smooth and pain free as possible! He and his staff are kind and caring and they follow up to make sure that you are satisfied. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Wonderful experience! Dr. Howard is a great dentist and I always feel comfortable in his chair. He is always happy to answer any questions you may have. Also, if you're ever nervous about shots, here you don't have to be. I have a huge fear of needles, but with Dr. Howard's great technique I didn't feel a thing! Highly recommend!
