The front desk people seem to not be interested in helping at all. I have been going through the process of getting on my husband's insurance and I gave them the information days before my appointment and asked multiple times to verify that it's good to go and they just wanted to get off the phone with me ASAP. They say they'll call me back about it and then they don't. When I showed up they decided to tell me there's another phone call he might need to make to confirm and that they can take me in but I'll have to pay. It would've been helpful if they told me this BEFORE I showed up. After my appointment I had a medication prescribed and it's not in at my nearby pharmacy and as far as I understand from what the dentist said is that it's pretty important. I also tried getting a second insurance added and asked if they could give me an estimate on how much it'll cost and they were too focused on leaving at noon to help me. I still don't have my medication, I still have no idea if the insurances are good on file, and I don't know how much my NECESSARY follow up work will cost. I went here because of the great reviews and how apparently they have the best dentists. I can't attest to that fully because all I got were my teeth checked and X-rays but the dentist I had was nice and communicative about what follow ups I would need and exactly want needs to get done. It's just miserable trying to get over the first hurdle of the front desk people

I was assigned this dentist by our insurance. I looked them up online and they seem to have great reviews. The first time i called the receptionist seem to be having trouble hearing me, so placed me on hold. After being hold for a bit i decided to call back when i had more free time. The second time i called the experience wasn't any more pleasant. I explained to the receiptionist that my son was feeling some pain from his cavities and if we can schedule an appointment for consultant and work together. She told me that they don't do that. (From her tone you could tell she thought that was the weirdest question.)Seems very weird to me if someone is is having discomfort you would not want to schedule both together. Also she informed me that they didn't have any opening until March which was over a month away. During the entire conversation it seems like she was annoyed to actually have to talk to a customer on the phone. Just wasn't the customer experience anyone would want in a business. I would highly recommend checking out another dental office with better customer service. And one who doesn't make you wait over a month when you are having a dental issue!

Having had a lot of dental work (and dentist trauma) in my life, I've seen it all - the good, the bad, and the mediocre -when it comes to dentists. I'm so happy to have found my forever dentist in Dr. Qadeer! He and the staff at Mesa Dental are wonderful. He found things that my previous dentist missed, including an infection under an infiltrated (poorly done) crown that I had had going on for over a year. I completely trust his judgment and I don't think he overtreats, which is hard to find in a dentist. But just as important is his bedside manner. He's warm and compassionate yet direct, without scaring you, as he explains things clearly so you know what's going on. No arrogant or condescending tones like with many dentists. His assistant Carlos and the hygienists x-ray techs are also very competent and professional. I liked my cleaning a lot. The staff are always very helpful and friendly too. Plus they have Care Credit payment plans and they take my HMO dental insurance. So happy I found Mesa Dental!

I have been a customer for over 17 years and the customer service I receive at Mesa Dental is at top level notch. They are always very professional, both the front and back end office staff have always been extremely helpful and caring. I've have multiple dental procedures done and Dr. Qadeer is the only doctor that I will only trust. He truly cares about his work and his aesthetics. The staff always make you feel very comfortable, and they are all very knowledgable regarding your specific case. The dental hygienist is very kind and great with her work as well. I recommend Mesa Dental to anybody, whether if you are thinking of changing to a new dentist to obtain a dental cleaning done or thinking of a cosmetic dental procedure. I have been meaning to write this review since my first appointment with Mesa Dental. The Doctors and techs at Mesa are absolutely wonderful! They are SO thorough and clean, very transparent and VERY honest and the most affordable office I have been to yet. I had many bad experiences with past dentists way over charging to the point it honestly should be criminal. I was to the point I seriously considered making an appointment with my childhood family dentist that is 3+ hours away. I was so over being taken advantage of without being told upfront what the cost was going to be. On top of that, I have extreme tooth sensitivity from gum recession and they were SO considerate and gentle and communicated so well with me during the whole process. They put all of my worries to ease in all areas of my dental office trauma and ptsd. Lol. Thank you Dr. Qadeer and the rest of the staff at Mesa. You restored hope and trust where it was lost.

I've been going to Mesa Dental for 6 years now and they've always been consistent, professional, and efficient without compromising the quality of their work and services. They schedule my bi-yearly check ups very smoothly while being flexible around my work hours. I'm in and out of my appointment within 30-40 minutes feeling refreshened and confident with their reassuring dental expertise. Amy, the dental assistant who I've been fortunately enough to get treated by each time I come in, has been excellent in her dental knowledge, customer service, interpersonal skills, and making the atmosphere at Mesa Dental feel like home. She's such a sweetheart!

Dr. Qadeer and his staff have been extremely consistent, helpful, caring, affordable, reasonable, and all of the things you hope to find in a good dentist. They recently constructed a brand new dental office that is top of the line and very comfortable. While Dr. Qadeer's staff is great, you will definitely notice Dr. Qadeer's exception bedside manners and high quality of care. In addition, they have always worked with my schedule and seen me on short notice for any surprise issues. I have seen them for general cleanings, fillings, and invisalign. Highly recommend Mesa Dental and Dr. Qadeer for your annual cleanings, dental work, etc.

Only come here if you do not care about your teeth. This is a factory. They shuffle you in and out as fast as possible to make a quick buck. When scheduling your next 6-month cleaning they always want to schedule you for 7-8 months out. That is not 6 months! The dentist does not look at your teeth and I know my dental insurance is paying for an exam along WITH the cleaning. I recently visited another dentist to see what I was missing and will never be going back to Mesa Dental. They need to slow down on the scheduling and focus on the patients they already have.

Mesa Dental does a great job with professionalism. Their Balboa office is aesthetically pleasing and well manicured. Minimal wait time during my visits. Went in for a cleaning as a new patient and the staff was polite and thorough in explaining their processes to me. The hygienist and assistant dentist were very detailed in their work. Returned for a filling the following week with the assistant dentist. Procedure went great, had a nice nap and woke up to some well crafted work. I would recommend Mesa Dental to my peers.

Seeing that Mesa Dental has grown so much I was worried that the quality and personalized care would drop. This is far from the truth. The new facility is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Stephanie did my teeth cleaning and she was so nice and informative on the status of my teeth and how to improve their condition. She did a great job at minimizing pain in sensitive areas. This is my #1 dentist I go to in SD, Dr. Qadeer fixed all my teeth when I came here! they were in pretty bad shape, lots of cavities etc. but he told me not to worry and that my teeth would be fixed. I was nervous because I hadn't gone to a dentist in a LONG time, now my tooth pain is GONE. I definitely recommend this place right away if you are having any teeth problems! He works VERY fast-paced and will get it done within a short time frame. Thank You Doc, will be back again soon.

We went to two different dentist before we found Mesa Dental the staff here from the front all the way to the back are amazing. We feel like part of the family when we walked in the doors here thank you Mesa Dental for making that happen! Dr. Qadeer is amazing! Had two cavities filled here and the way the did the fillings made my bite hurt horribly. Went back to my dentist at home and saw how jagged and messed up the fillings were to the point where if the pain doesn’t resolve after my dentist corrected it they are going to have to remove the fillings and replace them entirely. On top of that the front desk was not pleasant or helpful or kind at all. Overall disappointed in my experience.

9/20/23 Today Dr Qadeer helped me with a crown in my lower right part of my mouth. Carlos was very attentive and helpful. Dr Qadeer was excellent. He was kind and skillful at what he does. There was some pain with the needle injections for numbing. I let both Dr Qadeer and Carlos know about the pain and they did their best to help with the pain. Thank you very much Dr Qadeer and Carlos for all you did for me. I am very grateful!

I've been a patient of this office for over 4 years. 3 years ago I went there and I had to get a crown. Dr. Qadeer did such an amazing job with my tooth that it is still intact and functioning. They're so friendly and humble with their clients. I always dread to go to a dentist because how judgmental they sound, but dr. Qadeer has never been like that. I am happy with the thorough work by Dr. Qadeer. He answered my questions about differences in dental materials, was attentive to pain management, and made suggestions about procedure aftercare.
