If you are a woman, DO NOT go here!! I was so screwed around by these blokes. I lost my key to my vehicle, and initially called them to see if they could make me one from scatch. They quoted me $60 for the key, BUT they said they could not come to me, and suggested another locksmith - clearly someone they knew. This other locksmith quoted me $360 - SIX TIMES THE PRICE. I said no way, and called Nelson's again. They asked me if i had called the other guy - and i expressed how i could not afford paying 6 times the price - that i could have my vehicle towed (it was literally in such a central location) to them and just pay $60 for the key. Then.. the backtracking began .. "oh just talked to the boss, we can't help. We're fully booked out for the next 2 to 3 weeks.. call the other guy" Way to take advantage of an upset young woman. Just to see if this was true... had my MALE friend call again 3 days later. Said i needed to bring a vehicle in for a key replacement. And suddenly, it was a different tune. "yeah $60. We can do it this week" alright boys, clearly know when to take my business and money else where. Absolutely abysmal customer service, sexist as anything and really really scummy behaviour. You could have just said you can't help, but instead you tried to take advantage and send me to your mate charging 6 times the price.

Seriously dangerous driving behaviour. It was pouring with rain in Adelaide this morning, driving to work coming through the hills on North East Road, I was tailgated by one of your vans/drivers coming down the hill to Tea Tree Gully, then again along Hancock Road and onto Lower North East Road. The driver seemed to have no regard for the safety of others, getting to within a meter of my car in the pouring rain when he could see it was a trailer load of animals in front of me that was slowing down our trip. I managed to give the car in front a safe gap given the conditions, but your driver was apparently not able to do the same for me. It went from poor driving to pure intimidation along Hancock Road with repeated acceleration to get very close to my car and then backing off again. I would expect more professionalism in driving from such a long standing business. You're fortunate I didn't get the license plate number as I would have reported it to the police.

Not overly impressed with their service or prices. Served at the counter by a new worker who was patient but still learning. Every question I asked meant the guy had to go out back to ask someone for an answer, and this went on for multiple questions. It was frustrating that someone out back didn't come to the front to talk to me which would've been so much quicker and helpful. They only had 1 lock that I wanted so I bought it but later found out it cost more than their website? I went to Nelson at Clovelly Park and they charged me less for the same lock (as I wanted 2 locks), and their service was excellent. Wouldn't come to the Head Office again.

The staff at Nelson Locksmiths were highly professional and friendly at all times. I needed a number of door and window locks installed, and they were great about finding locks that fit with the look of our home. Installation was very efficient and we have found all the locks to be of excellent quality. We are very happy with the service!

Paul from Nelson Locksmiths city was very helpful and professional. We originally called them to change the lock of one door but ended up fixing another two locks on other doors because he was very professional quick and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely use their services again.

Have used Nelson's for our business locks for many years and have found them to be reliable and efficient. They offer security key systems, fob opening locks and other systems that suit a business. Would recommend you give them a try / get a quote when you need locksmith services.

Hopeless. Tried to tell me problem was not in barrel. Could feel key was not rotating cleanly. Alterrnative locksmith, found barrel internals were badly worn inside and replaced barrel and rekeyed. The new barrel was fitted to existing lock and has been working fine .

Professional, polite and friendly. Came on time (rang to say he was on his way), identified and fixed the problem quickly. Reasonable price. He even was able to replace a door knob that matched perfectly the others in my 40 year old house. Very happy.

I have used Nelson’s on several occasions . They have always been prompt helpful and cheerful. On one occasion they didn’t have a product I needed and they sourced another professional that they knew. I love companies that do this. A good company.

Whoever drives your van down the Salisbury highway in the morning needs their license revoked. Twice now I've seen them cut right across 2 lanes to make their turnoff because they clearly don't understand going into the left lane ahead of time.

During work assignments in Adelaide i need it a special key to access plant areas, Nelson's Locksmiths was able to assist over the phone and ordered the special key and call me to pick up,didn't have wait a whole day.

Good professional service and fast to do the job. They cut me new keys when i brought them only the lock, the only place i found that would do it on the same day and cheapest too.

Lived here for. Still quiet compared to Wolli Creek and can still get street parking. Well. Maintained complex, mor then the others around. Strata is decent too.

Nelson locksmiths were very quick to get out to site and get our Brocken door lock open. A replacement was found and fitted on the same day.
