"I wasn't very impressed with this museum yes it had all the torture instruments but not very interactive or spooky at all"
"The place was interesting enough, the information was translated in 4 languages which was helpful however the displays weren’t very interactive and the wax works looked very dusty/worn also parts of the wall were crumbling away, just not very well looked after"
"Výstava se mi moc líbila"
"The paid part of the museum is located underground, so it has a proper climate"
"It is pretty small, but it is a museum of existing torture devices in Europe so the content is limited"
I wasn't very impressed with this museum yes it had all the torture instruments but not very interactive or spooky at all. It is well overpriced for what you get for your money. It. Has got potential if customers were allowed to be part of the torture and interact with it. My advice don't waste your money get some chocolate instead.
The place was interesting enough, the information was translated in 4 languages which was helpful however the displays weren’t very interactive and the wax works looked very dusty/worn also parts of the wall were crumbling away, just not very well looked after. Overall was an informative experience and cheap as well. Další
Výstava se mi moc líbila. Krásně zpracované popisky exponátů i celé výjevy s figurínami v potemnělém podzemí. Navíc jsme tam byli sami, takže o to víc jsme se mohli ponořit do atmosféry. Možná jen byl trochu rušivý neustále stejný audio doprovod, ale to na plném hodnocení nic nemění. Za nás rozhodně doporučuji. Další
The paid part of the museum is located underground, so it has a proper climate. It was scary and interesting at the same time. In the background there are agony sounds from games like Gothic and they repeat really often, what can be irritating to some. The pile exposition wasn't working during my visit. Další
It is pretty small, but it is a museum of existing torture devices in Europe so the content is limited. It is very dark with screaming and water dripping to simulate what prisoners go to. Use a flashlight from your phone as it is poorly lit. When reading the text it is some pretty intense things.
Very intriguing but dark place. Many exhibits and descriptions of torture. The sounds of the victims' suffering create a specific atmosphere of the Middle Ages. It's quite dark in the dungeons, but you can use the flashlight on your phone. … Další
This could have been so much better. Start is great, first few rooms are great, good light, morbid torture devices and really cool descriptions. But it is like they just lost interest along the way, first descriptions are gone one by one, … Další
The museum was a bit small, no proper lighting, although they tried to achieve a certain vibe for the exhibition, it was difficult to see the exhibition or read what was written. A bit disappointing but would be interesting and worth the … Další
It's very dark, so you can't see much inside. Furthermore if you go early the exit is still closed and you cant go outside. We called the museum and they just hung up on us. We had to ask someone outside to help is get out. Would not recommend.
It was an interesting little museum with a lot of work put into the displays and lots of information on the various devices. The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star is because of lack of interactivity or motion in the exhibits. Other … Další
I think the museum is super. The setting is terrifying, it's scary, especially if you go alone and there are no people in the museum, as it happened to me. The information is very detailed and impressive, it was a very intense experience. Další
It takes literally 5 minutes to walk through it (even fully reading all the descriptions), and it’s mostly just a dark dingy area with some mannequins. Waste of money and a bit of a scam if you ask me. Not a proper museum. Další
Fun museum with various devices on show and with them utilized in various exhibits with dummies. Takes approx 30+ minutes to get round. However as the rooms are dark, some wee hard to see / read any information plaques. Další
Could be more fascinating but unfortunately you can't even see the torture devices because of the lack of light !!! What you can see though, is that nobody gives a s..t about the place. Not worth the time and effort sorry .
… Další
If you are looking for something different to visit in Prague, then go for the torture museum and it's not that expensive, so give it a shot. However, it is not big museum and hardly takes 25-30 minutes to finish. Další
The museum is up to date and even though it is not very big and takes 30-60 minutes to walk through, it is a good museum. Sometimes you have the feeling that someone will scare you. I really liked everything! Další
It is expensive for a small museum and the explanations are written in a small font which is hard to read since the museum is kept dark to spook you . But it is certainly something interesting. … Další
An interesting museum. It's small and not many torture devices displayed. The information about the devices are good. It's not worth the money for the ticket compared to what experience it offers. Další
Well, it's a small museum. Time spent was about 20 minutes. The experience was quite anticlimactic, but the ticket was cheap. If you're looking for something to do in the old city, go for it.
I LOVED this museum. No idea why it got so many 1-star reviews. It was really interesting and unique. Definitely worth a trip if you're looking for something off the beaten path.
A very nice, atmospheric Museum. Not too expensive, it's worth the money. Kids may find it a little scary. You get to see a lot of different, medieval torture Instruments. Další
Something different from the normal tourist spots! Cheap to enter and has good information about each device. Spread over a few floors and interesting to read and look at
Very basic.. expensive entrance fee for what it is.. staff very abrupt and not friendly at all. Some of the exhibits had no lighting so couldn't see them. Další
Cool in concept, but it was way too little for me it took me like 20 minutes to do the whole place it did have cool stuff but at the end it was just okay Další
I recommend to take the combo ticket for 12 euros from wax museum. It’s a bit small but you if you read the story’s of the exhibits it will be better.
An awful excuse of a museum. I struggle to understand how this has received any positive reviews; too much beer maybe? … Další
