"At 7:45pm today, I got into a 5 minute argument with the cleaning staff who was trying to tell me I couldn't cross the food court from Scores to get to my car parked outside the saq"
"It's a mall! It has a big Dollarama, an SAQ, a big Maxi's, Laura Secord, Royal Bank, a florest shop (very expensive - personally I wouldn't recommend it) a small decent food court, a 2 story Wal-Mart, some clothing, purse and etc boutiques of course, a book store and some kiosques to name a few different stores! Taxi's are always available! Also it's parking lot is shared with a Thai Express and across the street a Chinese food restaurant and depanneur with gas pumps! A lot of buses run close to there as well! There are also a pharmacy attached to an outside strip mall also sharing the same parking lot! All around great place to shop!"
"The Dorval mall is a modern looking strip mall with recently renovated features"
"I didn't really appreciate the service of one of the cashiers when I ask where a certain product was and their response was "I don't know I only work cash if you want something go and see with someone in the back" rolling her eyes and I ask her politely can you call someone her response "boy we ain't no special grocery store go look at Metro or IGA" I walk away and left"
"There were no available carts or baskets except the dirty ones in the parking lot"
At 7:45pm today, I got into a 5 minute argument with the cleaning staff who was trying to tell me I couldn't cross the food court from Scores to get to my car parked outside the saq. He insisted that the mall was closed (which it wasn't, the pharmacy was still opened until 9:00) and that I had to leave through scores and walk around the outside of the building in -20 weather through a very icy parking lot with my 1 and 3 year old sons. What an ***hole. Glad I eventually told him to ***k off (outside of the kids' earshot) and just walked past him through the very much still opened mall to the unlocked doors directly next to my car. What a lovely experience ...

The Dorval mall is a modern looking strip mall with recently renovated features. Although the renovations where a much welcomed improvement, that was not the main problem with the mall. The problem is a lack of quality stores. It seems like much of problem lies with the smaller boutique stores that do not attract many shoppers. Aside from some essential stores, which have been the mall’s staple for over a decade, most of the stores open and close within a year in this location.
I didn't really appreciate the service of one of the cashiers when I ask where a certain product was and their response was "I don't know I only work cash if you want something go and see with someone in the back" rolling her eyes and I ask her politely can you call someone her response "boy we ain't no special grocery store go look at Metro or IGA" I walk away and left... explain to me how anyone would like to be spoken like that.
There were no available carts or baskets except the dirty ones in the parking lot. The only basil was a huge plant. An old lady was squeezing all of the fresh bread and the staff didn't ask her to stop. I ran to the self check out. Since I didn't expect to go here I didn't have a bag to carry my groceries, and none were available. At least raspberries were on sale, but of course they were imported.
Err The stores in this mall close really early on a Thursday night. Sorta sucks the energy out of you to visit here. The Mall needs major investment. The wal-mart I assume not a lot of people goes to, because I can always get what I'm looking for while others are sold out. It's just a convenient mall for those who need to buy something, not cool for hangouts or for the younger crowd...
McDonald's is McDonald's, no more no less! With the addition of the touch screen order your own and wait, the system end's up in being a trap for spreading germs. I do not enjoy or recommend using these methods for ordering. The McDonald's app is no better, as they control your location or else you can't order. For me, McDonald's is a last resort fast food outlet. Sorry Big Mac...
Right now, early February 2021, only "essential" businesses are open at Les Jardins—Maxi, Walmart, Pharmaprix, Dollarama, Royal Bank and the Canada Post counter at the variety store. Oh! and the SAQ. But shoppers, storekeepers and security people have all figured out how to get along together under current public health rules so things are pretty hassle-free.
an older mall that tries hard to look very up to date. large area with tables to sit and watch. has holiday activities. loads of parking. has a Maxi, Nickels, Pharmacia, WalMart, SAQ, Scores, Bank, Laura Secords, Shoe Store, Dentist, FoodCourt, Books, Cloths, HairDresser, Jewelry. Buses stop here. Well laid out, places to sit, not noisy.
Decent mall for Dorval residence who do not want to travel far. But definitely needs better stores inside modernize it a bit and bring in a younger crowd. The SAQ is one of the better ones I go to. Walmart Dollarama are good for quick needs. Fang express in the food court have great prices and big servings!
This is not a high end shopping centre but has everything you need for day to day living from good inexpensive restaurants to a pharmacy to a brand name store where you get everything from a to z. Also has a reasonably priced grocery store. Plenty of parking available and easy to get to and from.
Talk about a tale of falling from grace. I'd say the hay day for this mall was most likely 95'. You still have a general selection of mostly what you need for fundamentals (SAQ,Dollarstore,Drug store) but time has not been friendly. At least it's clean and has been updated in the last decade.
It's a okay little mall. Not very many stores to go shopping in. Maily the bay, Wal-Mart and a maxi . Apart from those there are just a couple little stores inside and a very small food court. If you're looking for a nice place to do a lot of shopping, this would not be the best choice
Clean mall. I hope this mall can bring in more stores that can please the younger family crowd. It has all your basic stores but it's sad to see so many unoccupied space. This place needs a Canadian tire, some sort of hardware store. The mall is clean, newly renovated.
Depending on the day or time, food can be great or awful. When I say awful I mean that it is like the old food has been mixed with new batch and after a few times you get food that’s been there for ours. Like I said it is not all of the time. Very clean and nice staff
My son lost his USB key so I had to a quickly buy one before he arrived. The clerk pointed me in the correct aisle. I also bought a few charging cables as last minute Christmas gifts. I'm glad the store was quiet to keep human contact at a minimum during the pandemic.
Very decent mall with an adequate selection of shops, and decent food court. Nice, clean, though not huge nor spectacular. It's a rather calm shopping experience so that's a plus compared to the larger malls. It's also home to an absolutely superb dental clinic.
Clean, organized but pretty dead. Food court not open (maybe during the weekend?), many many shops are closed across the mall because of COVID. Everything closes relativity early, with reason. Little traffic besides to the anchor stores like Walmart and Maxi.
the shops themselves are probably very clean however the mall is old and more than likely has some nasty stuff behind the walls. sometimes it can be pretty dirty in there however I haven't been there for a year so they may have already addressed this problem
This Maxi is one of my favorites! Spring time is great fun with selections of hanging baskets at good prices, plants, earth everything to get you started for the season. Parking is easy and the location is near other popular stores such as Walmart's etc.
Oh, I only went for a last minute shopping and didn't regret being there. I didn't take pictures as I was distracted by the things I found interesting there. I got many things for myself and my partner also got some things for the kiddos. Great place.
If you don't feel at peace with yourself when you go at Jardins Dorval, you just won't find your enlightenment in this life. I went there, found exactly what I needed to feel complete and now I'm practicality Buddha. Thanks for your great selection!
No Wifi. Half the stores are closed. Depressing. Bought by developers. Won't be there for long. Let's hope essential services will still be there in the new construction. Please support the stores that are still open. Dorval needs your business!
I suppose for the size of the population and their age group, it is alright. Unfortunately, I think it is relatively small, small variety of stores. Wal-Mart has limited stocks and product range when compared to other Wal-Mart's of its size.
One of those malls that Time forgot. Good basics, quiet, outdated as other reviewer mentioned, but also has grocery store. Great place to read, study or write. Clean and parking-friendly. Not far from the Dorval Station bus and train hubs.
It is not the mall that it once was, convenient, doctor & dentist, Maxi, tabagie with good price on smokes, but quiet & not much of a variety, though all your basics, wouldn't use the washrooms as the elder & drunks that hang out there. .
I love shopping here but what I would say is their fruits are almost never in good shape when I get home and cut up my cantaloupe it’s most likely not very good and I’m not one to bring it back so I just keep it. Anyway that’s it from me.
Les Jardins Dorval has some staple shops, like Maxi, Pharmaprix and Dollarama. I do think there could be some improvements to their food court. However, Scores and Nickels are great no doubt! :) All in all it's a nicely kept up place.
This place is more tailored towards the older folks so the atmosphere and styles are geared towards an older age. Really nothing to complain about. It has a pharmaprix, SAQ and pick-up point for Canada Post so it's quite convenient.
Its a decent place. Has a good selection of the major stores - groceries, pharmaprix, dollar store, etc... Food court has a good selection. Its not always the most clean mall, but its good for the Dorval area and gets the job done.
good shopping mall with huge parking lot. there is a maxi, wallmart, sports expert, tobacco store, saq and many more decent store of many interests. friendly staff overall and good product. there is also a small food court and a scores
This mall has changed a bit since Covid started. Some stores have gone. I miss the Bay. Now they have a warehouse type store there but have lots of good priced jackets and other stuff. Having Walmart there is good to know.
Come shopping here almost every day. It has all the convenience stores needed.....pharmacy, book store, Maxi, Wal Mart, the Bay, cleaners, Dollar store, Nickels and Scores etc.etc...5 minutes from airport and well located.
Went to Walmart They still have cashiers and are VERY KIND smiling and helpful On 2 floors but they have a lot of stock don't look at the size when you first walk in Ps: nice clearance... specially if you have kids
I always liked this shopping mall, although I only visit there a couple of times a year to visit my dentist. It's a pretty quiet mall, and I really miss the Deli Dorval restaurant that closed down a number of years ago.
It's a nice small shopping mall. Many little stores, as well as big ones like Walmart and Scores. Offers a nice variety of shopping freedom. It is mostly visited by older folks and teenagers from the high school nearby.
Sad mall, no more book store. Just Walmart, grocery store, pharmacy, hair salon, chicolate place and SAQ worth visiting. Also crazy expensive jewlers who have never not scoffed at me when looking for gifts
This mall in Dorval has many small stores and the Maxi grocery store is right beside it. Walmart is also on location. The only thing is their food court has changed and doesn't have many choices anymore.
I've been there twice and I really like it. the only thing I wish is that the Walmart and The Bay have a tap / paypass option because I tend not to have my wallet on me and I use wallet app on my phone
Waited here while waiting to pick up someone at the airport. If you are flying and you forget something this mall has most travel accessories at reasonable prices. Walmart is also there at this mall.
Hard to get into as a truck driver. Stay on 20 to Dorval Avenue, take 1st street by gas station. Take 2 or 3rd exit. Wat h out for cars parked in parking lot. A 53 ft trailer will fit. No worries
It is a quiet shopping mall, but most essentials are there. I use it mainly for maxi, dollarama, and post office. Hope it can draw in more business so the can stay open…difficult times I guess.
security need to get changed. I saw an Incident A guard stop a couple of thieves. And after a 1/2 hour struggle with them. He let them go AND GAVE THE GUY POUNDS (FIRST BUMPS) the old guy btw
Clean quiet stores are well lay out The workers are polite. Price is a bit up there ( But that the government for you lol) Great for bus train location We only need our movie theater back.
This was sold and might change soon? Better food options would be nice. Starbucks? But it is very convenient to have grocery store, pharmacy, Canada Post and dollarstore in one place
Being recently renovated, it is new and clean. It has everything you need in one spot such as groceries, dollar store, Wal-Mart and others. A lot of parking and good COVID measures!
A new clean renovated Mall with a good choice of retailers. There are many closed spaces, as it is difficult times. A food court, as well as a doctor, and administration offices.
First time at this shopping center and it was very clean and full of different stores and it had a nice food court, parking was also available, this is right next to the airport
Quiet, clean has a Walmart, Pharmaprix, Dollarama and Bay store. Smaller stores as well but no big name retailers. Food market a good variety but no Starbucks or cafe depot!
Big place lots of walking good variety of business es. Big stores like Walmart very big and we'll stocked. Liquor store has lots of vintage spirits. Knowledge able staff
Staff was kind and bilingual. I had the chicken brochette, it tasted quite good. However there is a significant difference in the pricing between take out and delivery.
Not 2 manny ppl. They even have restorant. In it. The ambiance is well they even have a maxi. Or. Liquor store the parking is. Ez. They got some.space that is enjoyable
It was very helpful while I visited with family because I didn't have a car & I could walk there & back. It could use some sprucing up though. A lot of empty shops.
Our server was super friendly and the food was really good. (Ribs were fantastic!) Lunch specials are a great price with bottomless drinks. Will definitely go back.
This place is very convenient to me after work i just passed yesterday to buy something like brown rice, bread, cereal, almond milk, drinks, banana, avocado etc.
Nice place for shopping. No big brands store just local companies. WalMart is great and the bay too. A lot of restaurent choices and good food all around.
Great little mall for the Dorval area. Has a Walmart on location and many other smaller stores. Also has a few Restaurants and a small mall food section.
Security guy bothers people in food .court. Please note you can't eat or drink while wearing a mask. Don't sell food and drink and then disturb consumers
Sad to see vacant stores and concessions Went there to eat in Food court and 3 places open thats it ...nothing got my eye or nose so we left right away
Lots of stores with great selections. Fun activities for kids every once in a while. There is also a food court with a food for everyone's taste buds.
Pretty decent chain of rotisserie chicken, at less then 10 min from the airport. Clean and practical place. They also offer other type of food
Decent looks and stores, seems very odd to have renovated the food court with...1 plug? Feels like in 2023 there should be closer to 50.
There's a bank, grocery store and small food court. It's not a destination mall, unless you're looking for an amazing Gyro at Kouzina.
Can't get there stories straight one person says no limits then cashier removes 2 pies from my order never impressed with this store.
Nice place for some reason is not that busy few stores for rent they do have Walmart and big dollar store, clean place nice and cool
This mall needs to fill out a bit more... it is nice and large and has all the stores you need. Pharmacy, restaurants etc...
Place is huge with some big name anchor tenants but it was extremely quiet on the Tuesday we were there. Use it or lose it.
A good shopping center to come to. Parking lot is not to packed and easy to get through. Able to find everything you need!
Perfect for Christmas shopping or any shopping. Pharmaprix. Walmart. Coles. Dollarama. Maxi. Dentist. Good food court.
My only complaint is Walmart needs to be reorganized and cleaned up. However, for other shopping it is pretty decent.
This maxi has a greater selection of organic products such as spices so I go out of my way to come here.
What a sad mall. It's better than the one in Lachine but not much. So many spaces unoccupied.
Clean lots of diff stuff too bad they only have one long line for all the cashiers
Great location. Like the food court and stores even if choice is limited.
Mixed feelings. Many stores are closed but you still find what you need.
Small shopping mall but was able to get most of what I was looking for.
You can find just about anything you need here, in 1 store or another.
Walked around waiting to meet a freind. Small shops Maxi and Walmart.
Fantastic brwakfast/brunch and so much more, loved it …
Nice atmosphere plenty of beautiful flowers. Nice people.
Half the parking lot is empty and Half is jammed??!!
A place visited atleast once a wk 4shopping.
Has everything you need...very clean.
Check out j&w barber, can't go wrong
