"It is a beautiful mall with a colorful water fountain putting on a light show every half hour or so"
UPDATE: I went this week and the person at customer service was rude. I asked at what time they close and she said she did not know. How can someone at the info desk not know basic info.!! I would say there are the basics like Iga, Jean Coutu and Dollarama, a Liquor store and Winners. So the basic everyday stores you have there like grocery store and pharmacy etc with some various boutiques also but its not like a mega shopping for clothes kind of place. It is however very modern, clean, spacious and pleasing to the eye due to huge waterfountain,a glass elevator, and these cute coloured big chairs on ground floor which kids will like. It is architecually pleasing. In that area they have presentations, shows or exhibits a lot of times. For sure in the winter during Christmas the place is decked out. Its airy, many exit locations leading out to either St Hubert street or St Catherine and its across from Place des Arts. Its wheelchair accesible!!! Its a nice mall for relaxing and light everyday needs shopping. Not so many clothes specific stores. The ones that are there are for the more mature. Also big food court with lots of options!! Its also connected to metro place des arts.
I remember a time when dowtown Montreal was suffering from a lack of real estate development projects. Complexe Desjardins was conceived and built to encourage the development of what was once a derelict part of town. The building is very much a product of its era, specifically the mid-seventies of the last century. Built using mostly pre-fabricated concrete blocks, the four towers of the complexe succeeded in launching the renaissance of that part of Montreal's downtown. Complexe Dejardins has an impressive indoor shopping mall that has managed to withstand the test of time. It's airy and people friendly. Visitors can spend hours visiting, shopping or dining without feeling confined.

My star belongs to clinque inside complex not the complex itself. The secretary of the clinique is not kind. The way she speaks to the patients is rude. She is stressfull and she trasfers it to the others. The clinique was not crowded and I was the only patient there it was at the mornig so i can not undrestand why she was like that. Everthing excpect the secretery is wonderful. So everybody who wants to go here should prepare himself/herself with a not kind behaviour. The parking fee in the complex is high
It is a beautiful mall with a colorful water fountain putting on a light show every half hour or so. It was great watching the children's faces as they expressed their fascination of the display the fountain was putting on. We were there mainly for a Just for Laughs podcast, however between shows we walked around the complex and the Mrs did do some shoe shopping. The atmosphere was electric, maybe because of the comedy festival, regardless, it's a beautiful place to shop and walk.
Beautiful fountain. This is the best shopping mall to be as You have all the activities going on in front of this shopping mall. Parking: 15$ if you park between 3.30 PM to 4.00 AM. Otherwise it's expensive. You have the place des festivals right infront of it... Toilettes are well maintained. Food court: Lot of shops like A&W, Baba, noodle shop etc etc. The music is running all day long. You will see young and energetic crowd here.
Fantastic and large indoor shopping and mall complex. The food court is nice with a large selection of restaurants. The center Court is vibrant year around with a huge fountain in the middle. However parts of the complex are very 70's feeling but they have done a good job modernizing the whole complex complete with interactive touch screens. If you want to escape the cold or eat thus us the place for you!
An amazing shopping and retail center in the heart of Montréal City. From tons of eateries (ranging from poulet rouge to Thai express), this place caters to every palate. The shopping center offers a range of retail and off-retail choices, Dollarama to several boutiques and locally sourced brands. When in Montréal and if you're in need of a reliable place to shop, this is the place to go!
Complexe Desjardins is a captivating destination that mesmerizes visitors with its stunning interior. The grand architecture and captivating design create an unforgettable experience. It offers a delightful mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike. The interior is truly eye-catching and impressive.
Loved walking through this underground mall! And so much to explore too A nice variety of shops are available to explore and a nice variety of different vendors available in the food court too The fountain in the centre court is mesmerizing too Should definitely check out this spot when in downtown montreal and go explore the whole underground mall yourselves!
Complexe Desjardins has a nice shopping mall at the lowest levels that connects to other down town locations through tunnels and the metro station. The interior design and architecture is really well done and more interesting than the typical mall. Beyond that there is everything you would expect, small shops and restaurants throughout.
This mall is the best place in all of Montreal! When Christmas is coming, the shopping center arranges many children's performances, visiting Santa Claus and taking photos with Santa Claus, fountain light shows and small trains for children to ride, and there will be some children's performances to watch on summer weekends.
This place is so beautiful I visited here during Christmas and the light show was absolutely amazing So beautiful and unique I’ve never seen anything like this in any of the malls in canada The stores have a vide variety of things. Even outside the complex is beautiful and full of lights in the spirit of Christmas
This is the one off the biggest shopping complex of Montreal and nearby locations, you will find here all big brands, restaurants luxury hotel, with beautiful fountain in middle and it has a very beautiful lights also to see in the night time, worth to visit with family and friends. If you are visiting Montreal..
This mall was extremely spacious. As can be seen in the photos, the fountain was the centerpiece of the mall that had a beautiful blue glow. There was a good variety of stores, not just clothing. I even saw one selling fur coats and accessories -- something that I've never seen in Ottawa.
All our family really love this place. You can find here everything, that should be in the entertaining centre. We all like the Christmas light and music show, that was held every hour during the fests. We like the decorations and place, where Pere Noel accept children and their letters.
A shopping mall located downtown. Regardless of its size, the impressive interior grabs your attention as soon as you enter. The stores inside don't differ much from those in other malls, but with various events held each season, it's a place worth visiting at least once.
I hope one day to work here...at Christmas time, it's magical, so majestic ❤️ I love the water fountain that changes colours. The food court is clean and there is a huge variety of food. It's a great place to bring kids. I love it, I just don't come here often.
Cool place to hangout, there's lots of stuff u can do, food court also has a lot of variety in food and famous ones like Poulet Rouge, Subway, A&W, Suvlaki Bar, Thai express and many more. There's also IGA and Dollarama inside. Overall you get everything in one place.
Whenever I visit Montreal this place always has it’s own beauty and charm. I enjoy my coffee, food and absolutely gorgeous environment. The decorations and setting area are gorgeous and always find it very clean. Also you can find Halal food selection as well . …
The place was very clean. People were very friendly. My French is not very good but people were very accommodating. The shops were very diverse and interesting. Would recommend people come to see. The center of the mall had holiday themed displays very beautiful.
This is an absolutely beautiful inside mall! Lots of upscale clothing shops plus some of everyone's favorites, including Marie Claire and Winners. Since I only speak un peu francias, everyone was very sweet about speaking English. Also, great dining venues.
Very nice building! I love the policy put in place, that is if you buy for a certain amount you’ll get 1-2 hours of free parking. A good incentive! Good products too! Got myself a new coat for the winter, a nice shirt and sur mesure pant to go to dinner
Great shopping mall. We loved the IGA grocery store and the restaurants we visited were good, too, The Eggception and Baton Rouge. The fast food was good, too. This is a nice mall and had a tunnel leading to the Convention Center that we used everyday.
This is so far the most visually appealing mall or shopping Centre I've seen. It's beautifully decorated for the season. The cafeteria sitting area, tables, and chairs were absolutely charming. I've never seem so much detail put into an
Great indoor underground mall, if weather outside gets bad or don't feel like spending time outside good place to hang out. There are eateries, plenty of shops for window shopping and central open area to relax watching colored fountain.
Always fun to be there the a great aura as well as new friends and activities during festivals that are entertaining .Shops are all great but the best of em is the food court you can charge your laptop and eat anywhere
It's beautiful clean suspacious I loved the fountain area not too many shops but good shopping experience it has a grocery store which is a good place to shop . Favours ice-cream and a lots of good dining outlets here.
Nice plaza with lots of range of shops and restaurants and food court. Plenty of seating with open area used for hosting televised ceremonies and shows. In the centre is a lovely lighted fountain with smoke effects.
Great for shopping and groceries. The location is amazing foe touristique things to do nearby. Inside the mall they have shows (water, dancing, art, and other events). Definitely recommend this place as a tourist.
A beautifully mini mall in the heart of Montreal with a modern design, good for quick shopping sprees and with lots of stores you can t find in other provinces. Overall a nice and good experience.
This beautiful complex is an impressive hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment. With its modern architecture and diverse offerings, it's a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists.
Well positioned mall next to the popular Place des Arts. It is clean, spacious and you can find here several shops. For a modern design they added in the middle of the mall a colorful fountain
A beautifully decorated place with lots of food options and shopping options. Fit for families of all ages :) every hour, there is a show around the fountains…. Similar to LaGuardia airport
Amazing mall in downtown Montreal, very small area, Great location and variety of shops and restaurant in the area. There is a lot of shows there around the fountain. Recommendation …
They had a great Christmas show! A complex/mall in the middle of the creative and artistic area of Montreal. they have a decent number of stores, huge food court and something new to show
This mall is so beautiful. A lot of stores and restaurants. Just a heads up, not everywhere will accept Discover credit card! If you have US money, I recommend getting it changed to CAD
We stopped here for a tea and coffee. The place is a lovely open indoor space with a fountain. Not many shops for the size of the complex, but a pleasant place to rest for a while.
Great shopping center, not over crowded and lots of Christmas decorations. A comfortable place to shop and relax. Lots of security on premises, very clean and nice place to shop.
Great place to come in to get a smoothie, very clean restrooms near the food court. Great Hallmark store and lots of shops. Just skip the San Francisco store (very rude manager).
I'm reviewing the Fleurs de Ville that's presented here, every year is absolutely fantastic display of ingenuity and artistry, absolutely beautiful arrangements, and it's free.
Really have only come here to see the fountain. It's amazing to see how hight it goes, and it's a nice place to stop and rest your feet. Otherwise it seems like a nice mall.
Great place to enjoy and have good time. The best is that each season have their own decoration. Great boutiques, and also the CNESST and Revenue Quebec are in this Complex
Very big and nice movie theater, I saw a movie here tonight “ TopGun”, fully occupied. A lot game activities in the lobby of the theater , clean and spacious, worthy to go!
Huge shopping mall with fountain in the middle of the mall. It's also connecting to the Double Tree hotel. We didn't do much shopping here, nothing special to shop.
Clean. Small but has enough Xmas spirit. Everything was closed around 6pm though, making shopping non existent. At least a few food courts stayed open until 8pm.
The Luminotherapy this year is beautiful. The lights are designed for reminding that traditional Christmas sensation, so expect a lot of green, red and gold.
Beautiful downtown mall. Has IGA Desjardins super marché inside. Most stores were closed as it was after hours, but looked like a nice selection.
The interior space of this mall is large and the decorations are beautiful. This mall can provide customers with a wonderful shopping experiences.
Great place to browse, shop and enjoy their exhibits. We were here 4 weeks ago and they had a beautiful floral exhibition in the main concourse.
Love the way the mall is set up.. had alot of stores. Most of which i was unfamiliar with. But im pretty sure it has w.e anyone is looking for.
A very good shopping mall for whole family. Also has a beautiful interior and food court. Lots of shows and music indoor also happens here…
Cool little mall. Some good restaurants and they have some good stores. It's nice that it is connected to the Double Tree Hotel.
There is a great food court, in which you can find mostly food store, like a&w, mucho burritos, etc and ambience is incredible
Very clean place. Have lots of services. Food , shopping, banking, government, hotel, parking, IGA, gym , metro, and more.
Nice mall i expected larger but its 2 complex here and compare to ON malls its small but overall not bad experience
A very active mall. I had a meal at A&W's in the food court. Everything was very good including the root beer.
Awesome ! It’s beautiful and clean! shopping and food for everyone! I would recommend to everyone! …
Nice complex with a large variety of shops and eateries, from supermarket to steak house and fast food.
Great access by metro through place des Arts. Food court in basement. Usually has something going on
Beautiful mall in the heart of Quartier des Spectacles, accessible directly from underground metro.
