Not a safe place to be at. There are only 2 elevators with a capacity of 6 people to get in and out of parking. Today one of the 2 elevators was out of service. There are no staircase as alternatives other than the emergency ones which you cannot access. The staff should have planned a contingency for parking users to access parking via other options. It’s raining, it’s a holiday weekend with a high load of shoppers. People were stuck waiting for an hour for an elevator just to get to 2 floors. Some people had to get back to parking from outside on a rainy day like today. Total frustration and defeating the purpose of parking indoors on a rainy day. Bad management of the Eaton Center with zero customer satisfaction on their priority list. Do not waste your money coming here when you could have parked for free and be safe in other malls in town.
Really enjoy this modern airy mall that's home to some great shopping stops while experiencing downtown Montréal. Enjoy a walk around after getting some amazing gelato from Qwelli. Spend time picking out fresh and contemporary ready-to-wear styles at UNIQLO. Satisfy your craving for delicious quality chocolates from Lindt. Browse the amazing selections at SAQ for to enjoy at one of Montréal's BYOW restaurants. Pamper yourself with quality beauty products at Sephora. Visit m0851 for their exquisite leather goods in sleek and functional aesthetics. Try out B2's edgy street fashion footwear. Stop by LUSH for the brilliantly fragrant and fun products for your skin and hair that's cruelty-free and sustainable. Then savour the foods and beverages at Time Out Market.
One of the best mall in Montreal!! Montreal has a mall downtown that goes under ground… it has all the consumer stores that you want to buy from and has a food court on the lower level. And if you want to get back on street level you can or go straight to the metro… All under ground. Definitely built for winter! This is awesome! A thousand of brands. Great environment and friendly service. Always clean and great. Easy to access, best recommended if you went to downtown to work you have to discover this mall !! It’s connection with two metro stations “ Peel and McGill”
This is not a review for Eaton Center. But for info for ppl who is visiting. There was a guy sitting across GARAGE and with his camera facing Montreal Trust direction and taking pictures of ppl passing . When we were passing I saw his phone in selfie/ taking picture of other ppl height. We sat beside him and realize he keeps his camera open and took pic of ppl from time to time and he checks them. Be careful if you don’t want some weird ppl take pictures of you when you are just passing that area
I was expecting a bigger mall coming from Toronto. A Montreal friend even recommended this mall as a place to spend time if my family and I had nothing better to do. I was able to walk the entire mall in under 10 minutes. I thought maybe I missed a pathway or turn or something but it turned out I did not. So if you have nothing better to do for 10 minutes, feel free to come to this mall and walk around. I wouldn't call this a ghost mall though. There are some stores open and some bigger names.
Generic AF. Nike store blinds you with its chrome outter walls, mirrors and halogen lights. After that, it's mundane and generic. Same stores as every mall. Same food court... Very sad to turn that central part of St-Catherine Street into a soulless popular franchise lineup. Foot Locker, Victoria's Secret, Guess, ... Get off at Peel metro and head West on St-Catherine, or get off at Place-des-Arts and head east. Nothing interesting in the middle.
Decent shopping venue with a selection of generic international and local outlets. The food court is rather extensive and offers a varied array of culinary taste of fast service restaurants. However, the decor is starting to look rather dated and could certainly use the benefit of a certain "update"... Otherwise, it is quite conveniently located and easily accessible via the municipal subway through a dedicated entry connected to McGill station.
I was there on a Saturday afternoon. However waited 15mins for the elevator to get into the mall because one of the two elevators is down. when we are heading back to the car, we waited 20mins for the elevator as it’s always packed. There’s no stairs to get to the parking level. I saw some people walked outside the mall and walk down the ramp to the parking garage as they have no patience of waiting for an elevator which is always full.
Montréal Eaton Center impressed me as a vibrant atmosphere with bright modern aesthetics, creating an inviting shopping experience. Having a terrific selection and range of stores, it's a shopping destination that effortlessly blends style and convenience. I particularly was blown away by the Warhammer gamer store with its amazing stock and displays of a full range of books, kits and figures that would captivate and thrill any fan!
Very complicated place to navigate around to find parking. Lots of messy construction going on that tends to narrow streets and become very combustible. It took us over an hour to finally see a parking structure with an entrance that was difficult to see if it was full or even open. The Mall was huge with 5 floors and lots of stores and great restaurants but also have renovations going on. Don't think we'll revisit anytime soon.
This place is huge with a great variety of stores, a decent food court, and great accessibility by the metro, but it can be very very confusing, especially if you do not have good navigation skills! There is not a map and good luck for finding your store if you don't already know where it is exactly located! You can ask the information desk and they will help you but you need to find the information desk first!
Great place to hang out, shop, dine, and have a good time in general. Many shops from clothing to electronics to books to gaming etc. Good place for kids. The food court have many popular chains and plenty of seating space. The mall is right next on St. Catherine which is a very happening street. There is underground parking and plenty of street parking around as well.

Similar to my review of PVM, covid has really made these places deserted. You can tell they spent this time doing renovations and making it cleaner and more user friendly. I love the new placement of things and how nice everything looks now. When things get back to normal this will be a really nice location **being downtown it’s generally LGBTQ friendly
Great mall with lots to do, shop and eat. Various events happen too and love the recent Barbie expo which was an amazing event and it was all free. They had barbie from all over the world. You name it, they have the Barbie from every corner of the world. Just for that it was worth the visit. Moreover it's very neat and clean.
Thee is lots of construction work going on so plan accordingly. Montreal has a nice mix of old and new buildings. We took a day’s bus pass and it turned out to be a very good deal. The transit has good connectivity but sometimes reading the signs is a challenge. Though the helpful nature of people there solves the problem.
Même mon conjoint a tripper haha …
Nice place, most people don't realize the extent and size of the underground. Eaton center connects to a vast network of indoor shopping centers and locations. This is very useful during winter, and a person can virtually stay indoors the whole day while still accessing all needed services.
Not as big as you would expect … largely related to its location on the famous St Catherine Street limiting the capabilities of the mall … not many brands as well … however, few amazing small shops are located in the lowest level including WARHAMMER shop and a brilliant toys and games shop
Had gone with great expectations but deterred by the low down atmosphere and items served at food courts that didn’t go down well with us. The shopping mall is huge and spacious housing most leading brands. Parking is another deterrent as paid basis which is costly too. Enjoy your turn.
I visited 6 months ago and today, still such an awful smell of burning glue and diesel gas, like inside the mall and especially the connection to the adjacent mall Place MTL Trust, extremely unpleasant, the mall itsleft is dated and not very inviting to be honest...I'll stick to Anjou.
Popular destination for shopping since it's located downtown. They took a lot of measures regarding covid-19 and there are multiples gel machines to desinfect the hands. It gets pretty crowded during the weekend and there are big lineups for popular shops such such as Sephora or Uniqlo
Everything is ok. The disadvantage is that the elevator is not convenient for the parents of the stroller . We have to wait at least 5-10 minutes each time we take the elevator. It's best not to go shopping there on the weekend, you have to wait for the elevator for a long time
Pretty great place. Has lots of different stores to check out. The top level is great because it is all an eatery and it has great food and pretty good seating. However, it fills up pretty fast so its important to get there a little early. Usually you can find seats though.
The parking lot is an overpriced labyrinthine hell. They will charge you $20 to enter a parking lot with no guarantee of a spot. Unless you plan on walking or taking transit, don’t bother visiting. This is nothing in this mall that could possibly be worth this ordeal.
Nice place to shop. Very big. A lot of shops. Eaton centre has lots of parts which links to each other and every part has its own food areas. Parking is available. There is a metro station in the centre. Rest rooms and drinking water available.
Location in downtown is great, lots of shopping stores. I did not like the eating area. The area is dark and requires upgrade with colorful. Also, they should add different type of restaurants (two Japan authentic restaurants !!)
What can’t you like about this mall it basically has everything you’d need and wants. Little side tip instead of going to the food court in the lower base, try the time out food court. Way better food selection, quality of food
Centre d'achat assez complet.
The old part with a gloomy food court is not so good. But the new part of the mall is very nice. Saw an amazing food court on the upper level. I would have eaten there If I knew about...oh well.
Shopping center in the city core with 24/7 indoor parking lot which is very reasonably priced especially with weekend rates. There's also be timeout marketplace (upscale food court) as well
Great place for shopping Amazing selection Open daily I suggest you go via metro and enjoy Many place to eat and have fun with kids
This mall has gotten better with time. Nice food court with so many restaurants. Clean and big bathrooms. Nice selection of stores.
The fabulously designed, equipped, and stocked "Mother's room" lactation made the visit so much more pleasant and less stressful.
Great atmosphere. Maybe I'm a big eater. The portion is very not enough for me. But the food is great. Will go again for sure
Big mall. They have the time out market here. Upscale food court show casing some of Montreal's finest restaurants
