My friend and I decided to check out Le Trunkshop Last Saturday when I was visiting Montreal so we could shop for bridesmaid dresses. The advertised store hours on Google and on the website indicate that the shop closes at 7 pm on Saturdays. My friend and I rushed to get to the store on time on one of the hottest days of the year, however, when we arrived at 6pm, the door was closed and locked but the staff was still inside the store. We knocked on the door to ask why the door was closed when the hours on their door clearly indicated that they close at 7pm, when one of the male staff members approached the door and stuck a stickie note on the glass door that said "Go Get Some Ice Cream". Instead of opening the door and talking to his potential customers with respect to apologize for closing the store early, this man thought that it was appropriate to be extremely rude and address us with a condescending stickie note. Extremely rude and disrespectful behaviour to customers who were willing to spend a large amount of $ in their store...But I'm glad we didn't because their collection is filled with very cheap 'Made In China' pieces that are way too overpriced, and not very cute. Don't be fooled by their trendy Instagram account. Save your money and shop at local stores that sell quality pieces and respect their customers.

Le Trunkshop est mon magasin de prédilection sur Mont Royal! Vous y trouverez de tout autant pour un outfit casual que pour vos soirées plus chiques ou entrevues. L’equipe est géniale, patiente et vous aurez même droit aux conseils du proprio Lino, un designer, qui saura vous trouver ce qui vous va et convient à votre personnalité. Maude, représentante en vente, est une perle qui donne tellement de vie au magasin et peut vous conseiller franchement sur tout et qui gagne à être connue. Ce que j’aime le plus de l’équipe c’est qu’ils sont honnêtes et vous diront quand ce n’est pas fait pour vous et vous aiderons à penser aux accessoires et chaussures qui pourraient faire un match parfait avec vos nouveaux vêtements. Au fait...ils ont 2 boutiques et une des 2 boutique offre même du Scotch and Soda . pour ceux qui se cherchent un outfit de qualité encore plus supérieure mais à prix un peu plus élevé, vous y trouverez franchement une belle sélection. Ça vaut vraiment la peine d’y aller plusieurs fois, ils reçoivent du nouveau stock à toutes les 2 semaines! Ps : y a même des sacoches Pixie Mood !!!!

J’ai rarement eu affaire à un service à la clientèle aussi mauvais. Je suis allée acheter plusieurs articles dans la boutique. Je me suis rendue compte d’une faute de taille arrivée chez moi. J’appelle donc le magasin pour savoir si une remboursement ou un échange est possible. La vendeuse me confirme que oui et je lui dis que je repasserais dans quelques heures. Après avoir retraversée la ville, je rapporte mes articles. Cette même vendeuse me dit que finalement ce n’est plus possible sans pour autant avoir essayée de m’appeler pour m’en informer. Elle m’invite à parler au gérant. Je lui pose explicitement la question « vous êtes certaine qu’il sera là dans 15 minutes ? », ce qu’elle m’assure. Au final j’ai attendu 45 minutes sans qu’elle fasse le moindre mouvement pour m’informer de quelconque changement de la part de son supérieure qui n’était pas là. Je finis par partir et lui demande quand celui-ci travaille au magasin. Elle me répond qu’elle ne sait pas et elle me suggère d’appeler la prochaine fois.

Be careful with some of the items in this shop. It’s mostly cheap stuff from China that they buy in bulk and sell it for 100x the price. That’s what I figured after wearing a shirt that I bought there for the first time and realizing that it had a hole in it — after one use. It’s not quality pieces that’s for sure. Edit because I can’t reply : What? I bought it two weeks ago... and yes for 79,00$ + taxes I would’ve expected more. Although I do respect your small business, I have to be honest in my review and my impression of the clothes and my personal experience. :) Instead of replying so angrily, maybe you could’ve tried contacting me..

I purchased an item of clothing this week from this shop and when I got home and tried on my purchase I noticed it was ripped. I went back to the shop with the garment with tags attached and my receipt. I had to argue with the clerk just to get an item that was not damaged. I left the store feeling bad and not wanting to shop there anymore because of the unprofessional customer service and shady return policies. If you do chose to buy from this place double check the garment before purchasing.

great boutique!! on trend clothes as well as levis jeans! GREAT customer service. they immediately helped me with sizing and brought different clothes to the dressing room. they also gave me their advice on each outfit. my mother found 5 different outfits. my sister and i also found a super cute, on trend outfit. lino helped us through it all. his support was spectacular. definitely coming back. such a fun experience!

Excellente petite boutique avec du joli choix de linge pour Madame. Ils n'ont que des quantités limitées de chaque vêtements ce qui permet d'avoir plus de choix dans la sélection mais aussi ne pas voir tout le monde dans la rue portant la même chose. Excellente qualité et design. C'est un plaisir d'aller magasiner là bas avec ma femme. On y trouve toujours de beaux habits.

My absolute favourite go-to place for casual clothing both for myself and for my family. Lino is spot on when it comes to sussing out your style and what fits you. We live in NY and regularly go to our holiday home in MTL and Le Trunkshop is a mandatory stop to buy some unique items at very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!!

De loin ma nouvelle boutique préférée sur le plateau. À chaque fois que j’y achète un morceau (ou cinq...), j’ai des compliments sur celui-ci. Les vendeuses sont super et l’ambiance est apaisante. Préparez vous un bon budget parce que vous allez acheter 5x que ce que vous aviez prévu :-)

I've been here with my girlfriend a fews times and I am always impressed with the selection and especially with Leno. He's as quick to tell you that something looks good on you as he is to say it's not working. He really wants his customers to look good!
