Kangaroo Point Cliffs is a superb location of unequalled natural beauty. It’s located on the Brisbane river and the recreational precinct is truely a sight to behold. The area is blessed with breathtaking nature which teems with unique Australian wildlife. It features fitness & leisure facilities including world class walkways and river attractions. It’s well located to a range of local farmers’ and craft markets. There is also outstanding Sunday market. The Sunday market is a river adventure and offers electric handicrafts and curios. It’s a sightseeing destination not to be missed.
This is one of my favourite places in Brisbane which later became a go-to place irrespective of time (be it an early morning for sunrise, evening for stunning sunset or late night stroll to get some peace alone or to have fun with mates). Anyone can feel relaxed at this spot. One of the spot to capture beautiful snaps of Brissy skyline. Don't forget to reach early to witnesses some breathtaking photos on bisbane festival or other fireworks occasions and New Year's eve as you won't even get a spot to stand. Easily accessible by walk/bikes and convenient on street parking if driving.
Kangaroo Point Cliffs Lookout at Scout Place offers breathtaking views of the Brisbane River and skyline. The panoramic scenery, especially during sunrise or sunset, is truly captivating. The well-maintained parklands and walking paths enhance the overall experience. Whether you're a local or visitor, it's a must-visit spot for those seeking a peaceful escape with stunning vistas. The proximity to cafes and the Story Bridge adds to the charm, making it an ideal place for leisure and relaxation.

Great for family, and also for those wanting to experience great views and for exercise the walk through the cement pavement is safe and ample room for 2 or more people. Night views of the city lights is highly recommended for the romantic at heart! You can take trips by the city cat to many locations along the cliffs or stroll from the south to the north side with reasonable easr. I would rate this walking challenge as medium and comfortable with many rest areas if required.
Few stairs to go there and what you get is a very good view on the city, we stayed here for the sunset and the reflection of the sun on the buildings was very nice to see. Many peoples running and doing sport around. The place is really worth it and you need to go there for the sunset if you go to Brisbane, that’s a must! Go there!

Some of the best views of Brisbane CBD available from this Kangaroo Point cliffs lookout. Access from limited carparking along River Terrace, or via steep stairs from the Cliffs Boardwalk below. There are limited number of tables and BBQ facilities nearby, and a cafe at the opposite end of the park. This area can be very busy during the day.
A point without Kangaroo. A good place to see sunset, and many young people to do cliff climbing. Also a good place to take a walk and seeing the beautiful Brisbane river
