"I really love this place, I can’t drive past without popping in for a coffee and pastry, they have an in house bakery, a huge pizza oven, loads of good quality natural organic wines and the coffee is also amazing, what’s not to like! The staff here are so cool too and also has a great vibe going on More"

Big Jo is a wonderful coffee shop and restaurant. The coffee is delicious, pastries are divine, and while I haven't included pictures from my lunches or dinners here, I can assure you that it's wonderful for meals as well. I'll happily go out of my way for a coffee and pastry here any day.
Very tasty coffee, the cup it's served in is pretty nifty too. Chilli cheese croissant was nice. Gets pretty busy, seat to table height ratio was a bit weird, felt low and as though the table was too high. Decent section of outdoor tables good for summer ☀️ More
I think sadly I may have gone on a day where the food was overwhelmingly average. Service and atmosphere was wonderful, but my friends and I weren't blown away by anything. Sometimes thought that the food need a little bit more flavour, and
Went for brunch at Jolene and must say that everything was delicious. The fried polenta was a nice surprise on the menu, and also really enjoyed the peppers + aubergine dish. Had croissant infused soft-serve to finish it all off which was
Popped by for breakfast, to try their amazing range of viennoiserie. I’d heard great things, and it didn’t disappoint - their standard pastry is the perfect blend of crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Not overly heavy, and tons of
I've been here a few times but I'm only just writing a review. A welcome addition to the neighborhood. The food is high quality and well made. Some items can be a little bit pricey on the side. The pizzas are delicious but I suspect they
A lovely local establishment and bakery. I have not personally tried the restaurant, but the coffee is delicious and the pastries are baked fresh and taste delightful- however, what truly stands out are the incredible toilets. I have not
Came here for lunch and it really didn't disappoint. The focus is very much on bread delicious sourdough that is texturally novel and perfect as a pizza base. From observation, it appears that they wood fire the bread twice so that it's
Demolished the chicken pie as gracefully as I could - golden buzzer for the puff pastry, it was light with a crispy top and oh so buttery! Well done, Big Jo bakers! Roast chicken was also good but the pie!!! Oh, the pie... Yummy. More
Heard amazing things about this bakery/restaurant for a long time and finally managed to try it: really super food, the daily menu is curated and everything is super top notch level. Really recommend the ox tongue and the pizzetta.
overall: cozy local spot serving scrumptious small plates (& delicious pastries/ cakes). great place for families and small groups of friends. would highly recommend trying the pizzetta! (tho the menu is constantly changing)
Really lovely food and wine. They turn the tables over quickly and there is a lot of pressure from the staff to get a move on so you can’t really enjoy the meal. The music is also loud and obnoxious for this price point. More
Came here for brunch with a friend to catch up as we hadn't seen each other for a long time. It was during the heatwave week in London and so it's the perfect weather to have something light with an iced coffee.
Finally got to go to Big Jo for lunch! Just amazing, fresh food. The fish pie was so buttery and warm, bread was fresh and delish, the desserts were sooo goood and roasted broccoli/ potatoes were divine
super over priced ... I dont know what the owner think about the pricing but it is totally insane. I will never go back. The atmosphere is perfect, the waitress were friendly but sadly the portions was
Delicious roman style pizza and small plates, very high quality and authentic. Beautiful space and fantastic staff. Felt very safe and well looked after. A very wonderful addition to the area.
Adore this place. So cool. The staff are amazing. Lovely selection of sandwiches, pizza slices, small plates, pastries and cakes. Great coffee and organic wines. Highly recommend.
My visit to Jolene in North London offered a mixed dining experience, where the culinary highlights and impressive wine menu were overshadowed by a significant service misstep.
Favourite spot in the neighbourhood.. great low intervention wine list and fun rotating seasonal menu. Fire pizzettas and also incredible coffee and bakery in the daytime More
This has become my favourite coffee shop/restaurant in the neighbourhood. Amazing coffee and delicious pastries selection every day (their croissants are to die for!)
I've been living in a 10 minutes walking distance from this place for the last 5 years and I never went inside. Such a shame, because it is absolutely fantastic!
Pretentious joke of a restaurant. 1. Kombucha is £4 and it’s a small glass that’s mostly ice 2. Why is everything smothered in mayo?
Quick pit stop for coffee so can't comment on food. Coffee was superb though, good value and the staff were really friendly too.
Great visit to Big Jo's, service was excellent and attentive, food delicious and full of flavour. Would certainly return. More
Big space. Pretty busy - booking advised after 11am on weekends. The pastries were good and the coffee was good. Cute vibe.
Big Jo is my new favourite place! Set up by David Gingell and Jeremie Cometto-Lingenheim, who already run Westerns
Great service and atmosphere but sadly, food wasn’t as great as expected (especially for the price range).
