"Gail’s Bakery at Westbourne Grove was one of the most comfortable places to work at with my laptop during my stay in London until I had to leave the UK right before the lockdown"
"I had an iced latte and a cinnamon bun"
The staff at Gails is friendly and professional but Pavel stands out for his efficiency and excellent customer service. The other day i was in a very bad mood and very disagreeable. His smile and his concern if i am ok really brightened my day. I consider Gails my home. Thank you Pavel thank you Gails for choosing the good people.
We ordered a lot of food because we wanted to try everything. Generally it was very good. It’s a bit strange they don’t have any eggs as their breakfast option? But regardless, the cakes were nice and the atmosphere was lovely. It wasn’t too busy, perhaps because people have gone home for Christmas.
Amazing pastries and drinks!! So good I had to come back again. I got the 65% hot chocolate and it was really delicious, my friend got the latte and they said it was so good. The place is pretty, the display is beautiful, but it can definitely get crowded at times.
Gail’s Bakery at Westbourne Grove was one of the most comfortable places to work at with my laptop during my stay in London until I had to leave the UK right before the lockdown. I visited the cafe about three times a week for six months.
I had an iced latte and a cinnamon bun. Iced latte was flavorful compared to other cafe iced latte in UK. Other cafes usually are so watery and milky because of ice but here it isn't! Also the cinnamon bun, last time I tried cinnamon bun,
Great location with tasty croissants. Coffee was average. There was lots of variety of foods however when I saw the last ham and cheese croissant go I asked if there was any more. The answer was NO. I was able to choose a close substitute
Love the bright airy cheery relaxed atmosphere here. There are seats out but it's too busy with the traffic. Better to be inside. My favourites are the pistachio rose lemon cake and Cinnamon pecan crumb cake. Pricy but tasty!
Nice place for breakfast or afternoon tea and scone, popped in twice in the last couple of days as was nearby. Quick service and prices not as high as some places and no nonsense English breakfast tea and scone, did the job.
I love everything from Gail’s. These two are my favourites (most importantly they are NOT sweet at all!! Just super delicious!!). Their granola’s amazing (best I ever had), just a little pricey due to the current inflation.
A very average underwhelming experience. I'd heard such good things about Gails but I was left wanting. I had the smoked salmon bagel and the bagel was dry and flavourless. The staff were also
The avocado on sourdough toast was very yummy. The scones and coffee were heavenly as well. All with all I would definetly recommend going here. Nice service, nice atmosphere and clean toilets.
Chicken pie was good, latte coffee was better than average in London. This place at least had spots on a Sunday morning while other good breakfast places in the area had queues
You have to try almond croissant!! It’s delicious. Additionally coffe is great. The service can be better It’s a great pleace to work …
Ambience is excellent. Some of the staff are friendly. Value for money can be improved. This is mostly for a nice weekend coffee stop. More
Awesome bakery! Lots of things to choose, the scones and the muffins are really great. The cinnamon bun was a bit dry, but great overall
Best cafe pastries, suitable prices, and a wide variety of different types of pastries …
Food is good! But extremely expensive. Bought a tiny feta and spinach roll for £4.10!! I was shocked
First decent coffee in a couple of weeks. Food was divine. Really clean. Definitely worth a visit!
