I was fan of the brand for a while, I was finding good outfits and brand items all around town in consignment stores so I decided to buy some first hand products. At the beginning it was great. I told my friends about how happy I am because it's a comfortable and high-end brand but after a some time the clothing (jogging pants) started to rip at the seams. I called them back and ask them to fix the seam (assuming a high end brand would take pride in the quality and integrity of their products - especially the workmanship of a seam repair). They told me the product was final sale, and that they wouldn't do it. Their brand claims to be 100% responsible, but clearly this is just about "recycled material" and not about repair/reuse. The customer service was so poor, and when I asked if I could speak with someone else they refused. They just kept asking "what are you trying to get out of this" and when I said a seam repair, they kept on insisting I could do this myself for $10. This wasn't the point. I figured a brand with integrity would take care of their products. They talked down to me, and made me feel stupid for thinking they would take care of this issue. This wasn't normal wear-and-tear. I suppose this is why I keep finding Frank and Oak at thrift stores selling for peanuts - I'll only be buying it there, if at all.
Sent wrong sizes and clothes that I specifically didn't like on their website. I went through every piece and liked or not, under my account to hopefully add to my first experience. Fail. After deciding to return most of the items in hopes for something else, I was not able to download the return form... until I requested that F&O were vocal and supportive. Now I'm paying membership and delivery fees for a delayed month... they were super clear to let me know that I'm paying that but its been 2 weeks and I still can't return or cancel my membership because they won't send me the form thats supposed to auto-generate. I feel like I tried something new that works for everyone but I ended up being that person that got scammed. Will never do again Update: Elain got back to me just shortly and assisted with everything. Still returning for the aforementioned reasons but her customer service saved the brand integrity
Low quality clothes that aren't worth what they're sold for, do not last after a few washes and if it's a sweater it will stretch completely out of shape within a few minutes of wearing it. Subscription service was also a hassle to cancel, and a promo I responded to was very misleading "$50 off your first order! “ sounded good but was too good to be true. The discount was distributed across all items (including the ones that I didn't select to receive), so when I only decided to keep one item, all other items were very uncomfortable and scratchy, my discount ended up being less than $7 bc those discounts were lost when I returned the clothes. Huh? When I asked to return the last item to their store they refused.
Clothes are nice but tried to return a shirt that I bought from the kits store a few days ago (with tags still attached) and receipt got thrown in the recycle unfortunately. Clerk said “maybe go back to kits” as they cannot do anything without a receipt as their POS system apparently doesn’t allow it. Just wanted an exchange as wasn’t fan of the colour but couldn’t do that either. Pretty surprised the customer service lacked and it’s too bad because the clothes are quality. I’d expect the customer service to be better that’s all
The customer service was top notch. I went into the store (downtown Vancouver location) and the two individual male workers there made my girlfriend and I feel very welcomed. They were so kind, helpful and such a fun vibe. To the two individuals that worked the closing shift on Saturday March 20, 2021, my girlfriend and I want to share our gratitude and thanks for making our first experience with this company so enjoyable. We will definitely be recommending this company to our friends and family. Props to the both of you.
Bought a jacket which fit well at first. However, very poor customer service program for fixing or replacing faulty products. After wearing the jacket for the second time a snap ripped out. I contacted customer service and they told me to get it repaired and that they would give me the cost of repair in a gift card. It cost me $30 to repair, for which a I got a $30 gift card and have to pay $10 shipping to receive anything new. So I ended up out money to fix a faulty product. I wont shop here again.
I bought a $100 shirt, 7 months later a seem came undone. Contacted support and they said there’s nothing they could do. I wanted them to repair it, not a new shirt. They offered $10 of store credit to cover the cost of tailoring pretending that it’s “for the planet”. But if all their products only last 7 months, they killing it, not saving it. Don’t pretend to be a good company if you don’t back up your products. Only shop here if you like throwing out money
Ordering online anywhere isn’t always easy. Was a bit disappointed by a poorly fitted product but staff & customer support fixed everything & made the experience a positive one. Happily picked up my right sized jacket & liked how the reps even threw in a nice F&O tote bag. Beautiful store with great displays & lovely Fall edit this season. Looking forward to using the coupon code they also gave. Thanks for making shopping ️ fun again.
I wanted to believe in building a capsule wardrobe with quality products. This shirt was purchased online in April and received in May - worn around 10 times, cold wash, hang dry about 3 time but visibly collar is fraying. I contacted customer support and they said it has exceeded a 30 day coverage. I don't believe the garment is roughly used, but this rate of deterioration is unreasonable and disappointing.
Awful experience - I signed up for style plus (online program shipping clothes to you) and tried to cancel but the process was difficult to access. Thought I'd cancelled, had only been put on hold for a few months. It restarted and automatically charged me. After returning, it took way too long to get a refund. I lost about $30 due to currency conversion. It took me 3 tries to finally cancel permanently.
Love their aesthetic, smart clothes with neat and tidy tailoring. Their sizes are great for my body shape, I have long limbs (arms and legs) their shirts fit well in the sleeves and for the first time in a long time I bought trousers that didn't need the hem lowering - it just fits!! Great to be able to go into the store and try things on for sizing then order online with confidence that it will fit!
I booked a date with an style advisor at the Gastown location. My advisor was Diane Dizon, and the experience was truly amazing. She was patience, adaptable and made me feel empowered. I recommend to have a budget clear and also be honest and communicate well about what are your priorities and fears. I promise you won't feel judged either pressured. Thanks Diane!! I loved my new clothes!
Very neat placement of clothing, easy to navigate through the store, can get suits for special occasions or for causal purposes such as dates, good lighting and not harsh for the eyes, good place if you want to stop and get a haircut too. The store gives off a very home feeling where you will feel comfortable and confident to shop and look your best! Would recommend this storefront
I first heard about Frank + Oak through their website and decided to check out the shop... I'm glad I did! They change up their styles every month and the prices are incredibly reasonable. And if you order online, they'll even ship your order to the store for pick-up for free (I work downtown so it's very convenient). You can even get a haircut and a fresh juice inside!
Happened to get into the store when randomly walking on the street near gastown. Luckily, they have crazy discount that day. I got a olive color chino for less than 35 bucks which seems to me a very good deal. Would definitely return for more clothes. They also have this AI collection monthly subscription. Please let me know what do you think of it if you have tried.
I have to say I've been pretty impressed with the store. There's quite a few staff members for a store of that size so there is always someone available to help. They even have a juice bar of all things inside. They could use another change room as there usually seems to be a wait but it's usually short. Very nice quality products at a reasonable price.
The clothes are nice and high quality. Team working there are helpful. The clothes are designed for quite a straight up and down body type though so even as someone who is a size 2/4, I can't buy any trousers there. I had an issue with delivery in that it took much longer that estimated, so be careful if you need anything in a specific timeframe.
My partner discovered this store last year and has purchased several things for him and for me. We love their styles but he said their service really won him over. I went in for first time this weekend and both product and service didn't disappoint. My only hesitiation in recommending is that it becomes too popular and my size sells out!
100 dollar pants that after a couple wears to the office, pilled so bad they don’t even look like the same fabric. They also offered to give me 10 dollars credit or send it to a tailor. Not sure how a tailor can repair fabric and looking to buy new clothes elsewhere. I thought sustainable meant not having to buy more and more clothes.
Went here on a snowy day to buy a gift for my husband I needed for today. They were closed without notice! I have shopped Frank and Oak before and like the brand but this is not cool. The staff person also saw me outside and didn’t try to explain why they had suddenly closed. I was there literally at 1.30pm! Very disappointed.
I used to buy my jeans only from this store but since the past year their quality has gone down the drain. All the jeans that I have bought have torn in a span of 7months. My advice would be to try a different brand if you’re looking for something that would last. Frankly buy clothes from H&M may last longer than these!!
Been coming here for years and I love the styles and fits that they offer here, especially the markdowns at the end of the season, but you will always be surprised by the sizing. I wear a size M shirt usually and I have both perfectly fitting small shirts as well as tight fitting large ones. Be weary.
Went to check out this store for the first time today. One sales associate had a fitting room started for me to try stuff but when I walked up to the room, another associate was taking my items out of the room for her customer. I can safely say I've never experienced something like that before.
I've been getting stuff through F+O since they were online-only, so having a physical location to check out their styles is fantastic. For those who are unaware, they refresh their men and women's lines on the 1st of every month, so it is always worth a visit to see what new things they have
One of my favourite clothing brands, and having this store here in Vancouver is fantastic. Great layout and atmosphere in the store, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Can answer any questions you need. Makes the shopping experience super comfortable and inviting.
I'd rather wear seal blubber than clothes from here. Expect the any piece of clothes you buy to get holes within a year. They say they are suatainable but their clothes turns to garbage after a couple months. With that said, great style of clothes.
I received really excellent service here. I had bought some shorts online and they didn't fit, and the attendant exchanged them for me even though it went against their return policy. On top of that they now have women's clothing here! Yay!!
Nice selection of contemporary and trendy clothing. It’s a bit overpriced for the quality that you get. It’s slightly better quality than to what you would get at H&M. A polyester blouse at this place with loose threads isn’t worth $90-110
Have been an online shopper for many years. Came by the store on a weekend trip and was met with a helpful staff, great recommendations, and the high quality and environmentally friendly clothing they are known for. Hope to be back soon!
Best clothes I've ever bought. Comfortable, stylish, and works for both lazy days and professional ones. They also have amazing prices considering the high quality of the fabric. Oh, and the staff members are all insanely helpful.
Love the clothes, not the service. I felt unwelcome when one of the staff scoffed at me for only wanting to try sizes before signing up for the online subscription service. I won't be going back to this brick and mortar location.
Beautiful store and selection but the employees are miserable and rude. It’s really not that difficult to say hello, or smile, or not act like I’m the biggest inconvenience in your life when I’d like to ring a purchase through.
One of the best Canadian brands of all times. Shout out for great quality along with commitment to sustainability. On top of that, both stores (dt & metrotown) have great customer services. We are loyal customers!
staff was very friendly and nice. super chill dude helped me look at a coat, and although they didnt have it in my size, they checked the inventory of a different location and directed me there. good vibe

Great quality clothing at a moderate price point. The company has moved further towards more sustainable production practices, which to me makes it worth every dollar. Casual to business attire.
Everytime I come here to shop, the staff are very welcoming and the environment is positive. I'm never rushed and its peaceful. The clothing quality is also better than many other shops around.
I bought some underwear and socks online. Great discount during Sale. I wish the packaging could be reduced though. Honestly not even sure if that could be done. Great product though.
Staff are friendly enough although there have been a couple times ive dropped by and been totally ignored despite it not being busy. But no business is perfect. Good selection.
Though the styles are nice and contemporary, the quality is horrendous and inconsistent. Save a few bucks but spend it over the long term because these outfits don't last.
I love the clothing but this location doesn't have a big women's selection. The staff were helpful and friendly today. I also really enjoy the layout and the location.
If you're an online customer they make it really seamless to go in and buy within your account. Your in-store purchases show up on your online history. Really slick.
Great quality clothes and grooming products for men. Nice minimalistic store. Email billing. Nice staff. Recently introduced women's collection.
Wonderful staff. Very good quality fairly-priced clothing. The overall product design aesthetic is one of understated refined taste.
Great service, helpful team & good vibe. Aren't telling you things look good on you just to make a sale which is much appreciated.
Anthony the in-house barber is exceptional. Makes you look and feel like a million bucks. An excellent haircut experience.
Sizing is whack. They've shrunk all their sizing and basically nothing fits anyone bigger than 5'10". Good luck with that.
People were nice and helpful. Had a issue with my transaction but it was just a common mistake not a big deal.
Really great staff,! Turned a good experience to an even better one. I'm going to be a customer for life now.
Nice selection, good quality and fit. Don't forget to check out the barbershop here run by House of Barrons.
Good clothes with the good idea to recycle! And the staff is very friendly and helpfull! Thank you :)
Love this place to find nice menswear as gifts for the men in my life. Great style and good prices
My favourite online clothing store. So good to be able to visit in person when I'm in Canada.
Great fashion at an even better price. They have something for every occasion as well.
Love the clothes, have nothing but awesome customer service both online and in store.
Friendly staff! Helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Loved the clothes
Some great styles for a pretty reasonable price, specially if you catch a sale.
Excellent choice of men's clothing in a convenient location. Helpful staff.
Samantha and Josh were so friendly and helped me out in a rush, thank you!
Very cool, hip, sustainable clothes. Service and atmosphere are fantastic.
Probably my favourite clothing store in Vancouver along with 8th and Main
Great clothes, friendly staff. I like that they have new styles monthly.
Just bought a merino polo shirt and the customer service was on point.
The customer service at their location in Gastown was excellent today
Perhaps it simply wasn't to my taste but I thought it was just ok.
Cool clothes and staff. Also has a juice bar and barber inside.
Nice and friendly staff and great clothes, good quality
Great, friendly, and helpful people every time I go in!
Love this little gem. Waiting for their warehouse sales
Do you go in person or online? That is the question.
