Warning!!! This all started with a simple routine cleaning which all is covered under insurance. Please make sure you get all upfront charges laid out and explained for everything and make sure you get front office staff to sign off!!! At first, everything seems to go just fine. Like my new dentist Dr Pham and the medical assistant Tracy. When I came for my appointment to work on my teeth another team, different dentist and hygenist worked on my teeth. And on top of that dentist tells me Dr Pham missed a cavity on my X-ray. Mind you, I am 51 years and some old fillings probably needed a touch up so did not mind. What I do mind is all these little chargws they keep adding more charges to a bill that I keep asking is this everything and they say YES. Then front desk says I forgot to add this and that blah blah... How much can I tolerate incompetence? Well, I consider myself a fair and patience person but these people have tested my patience. Today, I get a bill forwarded to me with all these extra charges for what I supposedly already paid $900 + and that is not including what I have to go in for them to finish their work from 2weeks ago because they had to order parts for my filling. If I had a choice, I would find another dentist to complete but I feel stuck. I should of gone with my gut instinct and asked my isn't Dr Pham working on my teeth? This is a strange operation because I am used to seeing the same dentist and hygenist do the same work from the beginning to end. I hate my experience at this dentist and CAN'T wait to rid of them. Fair warning!!! Over $1300+ dollars later and I have great insurance through my university where I work Delta Dental. From the time you walk in to end of appointment. It's too bad because I didn't mind paying for my own parking. It's downtown so fair warning on parking. Take an Uber if you need more than two hours which you probably will if need any work done.

I seriously couldn't be happier with The people at Fifth Avenue Dental arts . I recently got new insurance and I picked them becase the were close by. The place is super clean and has an upbeat yet relaxing vibe. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.From the lovely ladies at the front desk to the assistants and of course the Dentist them selves.I Started with a routine cleaning and an exam ..I had a tooth that had lost it's filling and was hoping to get it refilled . Unfortunately after further examination I was told that it would need a cap I was pretty nervous becase I hadn't had anything that extreme done before..Not to worry the said ..We can make it like new.So I went ahead with the process.They have all the best equipment and took the time to show me the super detailed 3D scans they took of my teeth.They removed the problematic material And gave me a temporary untill the permanent porcelain was complete.One the permanent was installed I was nervous because my tooth was really sensitive at first. Not to worry they said it should fade ...But worry I did lol . After a week or so the sensitivity faded and I forgot all about it untill I was due for my next cleaning.....The tooth is awesome It behaves exactly like it is my own .The color match and profile make it undetectable .I know I probably shouldn't but It is so strong that I am back to crunching icecubes without a second thought. Look no further for a wonderful dental office, because you've found it! I am incredibly grateful to have stumbled upon this team of caring, professional, and all-around amazing people. On a Sunday night, I experienced a severe toothache and knew I needed emergency care. I searched for a dental office near my downtown home and stumbled upon this gem. Despite my initial skepticism, I was able to easily book an appointment online for the very next morning at 10 AM. As soon as I stepped into the office, I could feel the positive energy. Despite being in the chair for a few hours getting a root canal, everyone in the office was incredibly kind and provided me with their best selves. Ruben, in particular, went above and beyond to keep me engaged with hilarious jokes and an amazing attitude. The human connection I felt at this office was truly invaluable, and I was grateful to learn so much about the team because of how genuine everyone was. This dental office is more than just a place to get your teeth taken care of; it's like a family that truly cares about you. I feel incredibly blessed to have come across this office and would give it a 100 out of 10 rating.

Believe it or not they told me I had 14 cavities during a cleaning I scheduled with them for the first time back in March i said first of all I don’t even have that many teeth No in all seriousness, I said how is that possible if I had seen my dentist back home 6 months before to which they responded it was definitely possible & that I didn’t have to take care of all 14 cavities at once. I went to another dentist in SD to get a second opinion, you know perhaps another dentist would find I had 20 cavities instead of 14. Got another X-rays done and stuff. They found 1 cavity. ONE. UNA. All other 13 “cavities” were normal stains I developed on my teeth that in fact I remember I’ve always been told about them since I was 10 and had braces. What I will say is that the dentist that saw me has a great attitude and is very kind, but unfortunately the office wasn’t honest and made me lose all trust in them. Bottom line, try to get a second opinion elsewhere after going to this office to get checked, or avoid it in the first place.

Do not visit this practice. I’ve reported them to the California Dental Board for fraud. 6 months ago, I scheduled a 6mo cleaning here and after having only 1 cavity my entire life, I was told I had SEVEN cavities, 4 of which needed work ASAP before a root canal was required. I tried to ask questions to the dentist since I have felt no pain but was brushed off and referred to the dental hygienist for answers (who didn’t know). They said my insurance would only cover one and said my out of pocket costs would be $3500. After I declined to make an appointment same day, they called me 3x a day until I finally told them I got a second opinion, after which they hung up and stopped calling. After visiting a new dentist this week, I was told I have 0 cavities and my new doctor could not even figure out what they would have worked on if I had agreed to the procedures. This place is a SCAM and after speaking with several other dentists in CA on their opinion I have filed against them in hopes no one falls for their thievery.

Pros: staff is very friendly and caring. The office is clean and I feel confident that the quality of medical treatment I get here is high. Seasonal deals which is cool I guess. I don't see myself seeking out another dentist while I'm in the area. Cons: this place is incredibly disorganized. In roughly a month of being a patient I've had the office call to reschedule twice, one being the day of. You are moved around rooms and between staff frequently and they sometimes appear confused at where you should go or what you should be doing. And finally, long wait times while you're "in-between" staff. I've never had to spend so much time idlely waiting for the next part of my visit, including this last time I waited for over an hour before politely asking to reschedule for another date. Slot in a minimum of 2.5-3 hours for a visit.

Dr. Mojaver and her staff were amazing. Before I even stepped foot into the office Lacy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding issues I was dealing with. The dental assistant, Ruben, was so personable and made me feel completely comfortable. He even gave me a blanket while I waited in the chair. Dr. Mojaver was sweet, gentle, honest, and you could tell she really sees her patients as real people and not money signs. I knew I was in good hands with her just by the way the staff spoke about her. She reassured me that my situation is fixable and should not be rushed when done correctly. The office is gorgeous, the downtown views are breathtaking, and they cover 2 hours of your parking. If you are like me and going to the dentist makes you anxious then I highly recommend Fifth Avenue Dental Arts.

I had a terrible experience here. The employee's acted like they hated their job and couldn't wait to leave. I started off with x-rays and the technician was extremely rude. He kept sighing and raising his voice at me when I needed a break or to get some water in between stretching my mouth out to take x-rays and pictures. If you have dentist anxiety, I wouldn't recommend coming here. They also told me I had 8 cavities which just doesn't make sense because my dentist in DC who I saw in January did not find any cavities. UPDATE: I went to another dentist for a second opinion and I only have one cavity - a filling that needed to be replaced. They said I absolutely do not have 8 cavities. Fifth Avenue Dental Arts should not be operating. I will be reporting them. Please avoid this dental office.

SO HAPPY. We had to switch insurance because of a new job and leave our beloved dentist of many years. I had a tried another practice and had a really terrible experience. From the moment I stepped out of the elevator at Fifth Ave Dental Arts, I felt at ease. The office is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and inviting, and the waiting area is clean and comfortable! Rachel, the hygienist was WONDERFUL with my 6 year old for his annual cleaning! I missed the dentist's name but he was great too! I must note too that I don't like going downtown because of parking. They have a lot to park in during your appointment and when I couldn't find it, the front desk staff stayed on the line with me and guided me to the structure. Super experience. Thank you!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Fifth Avenue Dental...after years of not being to the dentist (admittedly) I was nervous to make an appointment and commit to going. In the past, I've had less-than-great experiences with dental practices that felt more shameful than they did helpful, but Fifth Avenue was the exact opposite. From the moment I walked through the elevator door, there was a pleasant and welcoming vibe. I felt well taken care of and was checked-in on comfort wise by each staff member. I am shocked to say that I'm actually excited to have joined the Smile Membership & will be looking forward to my next visit. This is a no pressure, ethical, and caring practice. Highly recommend!

I was researching clinics for veneers in San Diego and LA, I had numerous consultation in 9 different clinics, after all my research I choose 5th Avenue Dental Art. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic, they had the latest technology, and everyone I dealt with was very pleasant. Dr Nina is very personal, treating you as if your a member of the family, my teeth were completed within a week, and Dr Nina even stayed late working on my teeth to insure their completion on my time schedule. I an very impressed with the look and quality of my new teeth. My aftercare has been superb and would recommend them to anyone who is considering any dental work, I very happy and grateful I selected them.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the assistants Amber & Val that helped me at my appointment today! Amber is the sweetest. She instantly makes you feel comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of. She assisted the Dr with my veneers and made sure all my concerns were addressed & that I was happy with the process. Val stepped in for my teeth whitening & he was SO kind and gentle. He consistently checked on how I was doing, offered me water, and made sure I was comfortable as well. Seriously cannot thank the staff enough for getting me through a 6 hour appointment!! Of course a huge thank you to the Dr for my beautiful temporary veneers. Can’t wait to go back for my permanent ones

Moved to California a week ago and had a dental emergency as soon as I arrived. Based on all of the positive reviews, I assumed they wouldn’t be able to see me for weeks, but they found a way to fit me in the very next day. Dr. Zora couldn’t have been more genuine and instantly brought a sense of calmness. Her dental hygienist was easily the best I’ve ever had. They were so gentle and caring of my comfort levels, but what set them apart for me was their meticulous attention to detail. Anything less than perfect wasn’t acceptable and they never rushed a step, even for only a temporary crown. Can’t say enough great things about this practice. Highly recommend.

The dental office was huge, many chairs. The dental hygienist was very nice, did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, taking X-rays and pictures and answered all my questions. The dentist was professional and explained what needed to be done. When I made the appointment, I was told that the $15 paid parking across the street would be reimbursed. When I got to the office and asked about getting reimbursed they said I was not supposed to pay the Parking ticket in the garage, but use the discount code available in the office which was not provided to me. They refused to reimburse my $15 parking fee despite having over $2,000 in dental work.

I’ve always had a bit of a fear of dentist and doctors offices, but today I felt completely relaxed throughout my whole experience at Fifth Avenue Dental Arts. Not only was the practice extremely modern, clean, and welcoming; the staff was INCREDIBLE. They were kind, patient, intelligent, passionate and charismatic. Originally I started going to this place due to the fantastic online reviews. My first time getting a cleaning here I absolutely loved the vibe, hearing lane 8 and Rufus du sol, along with waiting in comfy chairs was a fabulous start. Excellent work in my cleaning and loved the tips and tricks as well. The entire team at fifth Avenue is amazing, everyone I have encountered is extremely kind and SMART. I haven’t been to a dentist in nearly 10 years from fear caused by a traumatic dental experience. Dr. Mojaver took her time and made sure I was super numb and relaxed. She was quick, efficient, and honest with me which I truly appreciate. I have never had such a good dental experience especially with a root canal on a broken infected tooth at that. Even the after care was very thoughtful and helped reduce my anxiety so much. I would recommend her and her team to even the most fearful patients, she will not steer you wrong.

I recently moved to San Diego and googled downtown dentists and 5th Avenue Dental Arts popped up on my screen. Usually I go by personal referrals but the reviews seemed good. So I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. It’s been a great experience so far. All the staff are wonderful and friendly. Communication has been great and Natalia Zoe’s has been fantastic! I feel totally confident and comfortable that I’m in good hands and it’s a huge relief because I take my dental hygiene very seriously. Highly recommend!

I am totally impressed with this new dentist. I feel like I died and went to dental heaven. They took right away as a walk in off the street, gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had, and scheduled me for considerable work the very next day, including two extractions. I don't see how anybody cannot be impressed with them. They have the whole third floor. They have their own button on the elevator. I am feeling large sense of appreciation for them. They go above and beyond anything I expected.

I started going to Fifth Avenue Dental Arts in 2021 after looking for a well reviewed dentist in my area. I am really happy I found them. The office is immaculate and nicely decorated. The front desk staff are courteous. And the hygienists have all been lovely. I have seen two dentists and neither were salesy and pushing for treatments and things I didn't need. I have heard a lot of nightmare stories about dentists from friends and family so I am grateful to have found this office.

Dr Mojaver and Dr Ghassemi have been my dentists for over 10 years. They are kind, compassionate and do amazing work. My husband and I have recently had a lot of dental work including crowns, root canals, implants and cosmetic dentistry. I was nervous about the implants, but they were surprisingly easy and not painful at all! I’m also very happy with how my cosmetic dental work has turned out, they do beautiful work! I recommend them to all my family and friends!

Everything about the entire experience was very pleasant and calming. I’m scared of needles and Dr. Zora and Robert did everything to ensure that I was relaxed. I am grateful for Robert’s humor while I was getting an onlay and fillings because that calmed me down. They both have very gentle hands and were very communicative about what was going on. I have been a patient of Dr. Mojaver’s for over a decade. She has the most skill of any dentist I’ve gone too. That’s why even though I live over an hour away now, I will still travel to her office. She’s replaced crowns, given me fillings, advised me on bruxism and sleep apnea. Mojaver is not only very knowledgeable, she also has a great hand, and practices dentistry with compassion. Stephanie at the front desk is always a breath of fresh air when you walk in she was very helpful and today she help me with parking around the area. Ruben what a gem he orchestrates the necessary procedures to make sure that you get out on time. He is always happy and smiling. He filled you in on what’s next and keep the communication flowing. Such a great experience every time! I had a surgery done recently at my doctors office and during anesthesia one of my veneers popped off. I called 5th Ave dental the next day and they were able to get me in almost immediately. Such a life saver!! The dentists and assistants are always so kind and professional. Simply Amazing!! 2 years after Dr. Majover did my veneers, my experience is still nothing short of amazing from the front desk staff Stephanie to Kevin who is so knowledgeable- even down to the mouthwash I should use and Dr. Majover herself who is the best!! Awesome staff, they make you feel super comfortable. They do all kinds of quality dental work, and are very knowledgeable. Been going here for couple years now, love it!
