No matter how long the queues, the Saffron Croissants are worth the wait, and the Coffee/Hot Chocolates...damn they’re good! I often pop by on Sat/Sun mornings for a quick drink and to feast on the tasty bakes. It can get very busy after 11am, and the best bites are usually gone by early afternoon. It’s obviously a big attraction considering they bake on site, and emit some mouth watering smells in the morning! Staff are always very friendly and service is surprisingly efficient considering only two staff are serving on the counter. They have an amazing selection of breads including sourdough, Rye and more regular flavours, and their pastries and cakes are easily the local best. Seating is quite limited, so if you wish to dine in, I suggest arriving before midday. Some of their biscuits and buns are a tad too sweet, hence one star down. I could write more, but if you have read this far...

Made our way there for a Sunday treat. We love good coffee and a good pastry. So as a bakery that provides some pastries to other coffee shops that are classified as speciality we thought it’s worth going straight to the supplier. I think coming straight to the bakery it should be cheaper ! £3 for a bun is too much, I’ve been in cafes with their own oven and had much greater buns - freshly baked , warm for about £1,5 ! Since they bake it there.. The plates are all so dirty, they probably don’t even wash them.. the coffee was not great and the cup itself was also dirty. The bun was tasty but overpriced, and probably wasn’t just baked, might have been baked in the morning, we came at 13:30. Oh and I went to the toilet and there was no toilet paper. Only one roll holding the window which I didn’t dare to use. The service was okay. Not sure I would visit again.

The bakery is nicely located in front of the Home Museum, offering both outdoor and indoor sitting areas as well as proper cups and plates (the Planet is certainly very thankful!). The cinnamon bun moments before 2 p.m. was still very nice (sometimes later in the day they already, sadly, could turn dry), just the sugar pieces on top seem absolutely unnecessary. Coffee is well-made, cappuccino is coming very pleasantly foamy. Though the beans used seem way too bitter to my tastebuds. Hot chocolate does not live up to expectations at all, although, for some reason, overall it’s rare to find a good hot chocolate in London these days. The young ladies working here are very nice. I would not go out of my way to visit the bakery again, but would drop by other branches if I am passing by.

Asked for a loaf of sourdough which the server picked out for me, squinting I could only just see the price. It said £5, (bare in mind the price was written in chalk and was faint), however that was for only half a loaf. So the total was £10 to my surprise. I did ask before tapping my card why it was £10 and she mentioned it was £5 for a half loaf. Even so, it’s bad enough charging £10 for bread, let alone using chalk to write out the prices, which then gets covered in the debris of flour from the bread above, making it harder to read. So my feedback is, make your prices more clear and big! The bread was fantastic but visible prices should be a priority, not a shock to the customer.

I’ve tried many cardamom buns in London now and always find them too be too dry and doughy. At Fabrique it’s like being taken back to Sweden (which makes sense as it’s a Swedish bakery) - this was definitely the best cardamom bun I’ve had in London. You have the perfect spice and sweet balance and the texture is nice and crisp on the outside with the perfect soft chew in the middle. The walnut bread was also excellent but I would knock a half star off for the price as all the breads are pretty much double what you pay in similar bakeries and I’m not entirely sure why.

From my one visit here I can say that the cinnamon buns are quite good, I don't have a reference as to how they should be but judging from other reviews, it seems they are quite accuracte. They have special pastry flavours depending on the season as well. During the winter holiday season, they have saffron buns and croissants which are very unique and tasty! Friendly staff as well while I was there, a little girl was watching the baker's work and they invited her over and showed her how to and let her try making one of the buns herself!

Went in on a Sunday afternoon but didn't complete my order because the young girl behind the counter was so breathtakingly rude. No hello, a simple enquiry about ingredients met with an unsmiling and contemptuous response. A second or two of hesitation on my part and she was rolling her eyes and appeared to say something derogatory about me and my wife in Swedish (?) to the guy making the coffee. The place was not even busy. It ruined a lovely sunny day. Get over yourself, you are only serving buns, even if they are delicious ones

Flavour wise this is a favourite bakery. However, I agree with some of the other reviews regarding limited availability (I’ve never dined in or used their rest rooms). I know if I want cardamom buns and walnut bread (the best in London, in my opinion) then arrival before noon is imperative. I’m willing to forgo some convenience to avoid surplus waste. And yes, they are on the expensive side, but so is a 5£ donut at Box Park. Thus, I have to plan a bit better and save my extra pennies to “earn” a treat from Fabrique Bakery.

Tasty cinnamon buns but I think this place is overrated. Is it the best pastries in London? No. Is it cheap? No Also the staff feels a little rude and unpleasant. Last time we visited we went inside just when one customer was inside and the staff told us to leave although the customer was already getting out. I understand that this may be required due to covid but 1) there was no sign telling that only 1 customer inside, 2) the person was already leaving and 3) you can ask to leave politely rather saying wait outside.

This place is simply heaven on Earth for cinnamon buns... Take one, and another one, and another one... And share this tip with all your friends!!! If I was living in London, I'd be coming back here every single weekend!!! I really enjoyed the coffee too and the little terrace in front of the place is just pure perfection! Such a cute little gem! Out of all the Fabrique locations, I'd really suggest you to stop by this one, since it's quite hidden away and has a really chill vibe ✨

My wife and I are completely addicted to their cinnamon and cardamom buns. They're completely against our low-carb diet, but they're so good that we regularly spend our cheat meals on Fabrique. Every once in a while we'll get a bun that's not totally fresh, but it's rare - the typical example is perfectly chewy on the outside, a little soft inside, sweet but not excessively so, and with great spice flavor. Very hard to beat, probably my favorite sweet in London.

Amazing rye bread, I'm obsessed! Super tasty buns too - having tried the cardamom, cinnamon and blueberry buns I feel like I'm qualified to say they're all amazing. It is more expensive than your average bakery though at £3 a bun so I unfortunately can’t go every day. Seating is also outdoor only, so takeaway is probably better than sit in, failing which there are some benches opposite Hoxton Station / Museum of the Home (2 min walk away)

Went here after my girlfriend went to fabrique in Scandinavia. What a gem, nice quiet place under an arch way. Its so cool seeing the massive ovens and saw brownies cooling down. Makes you appreciate the pastry :) coffee was great with plenty of kick, we got flat whites. And the buns are oh so tasty, really poppy flavour and great texture. Loved the bench seat, felt so relaxed. Totally coming back here !

Great place to pick up some buns and bread. The saffron buns are our favs which sell out all the time. By noon time, a lot of the bread selections can be sold out as well so get there early for what you need.

We went twice in the past week but couldn't order both times. After waiting in a queue to order, we were told that their card payment machine was broken and the staff were not able to tell us where we could take some cash out. We tried going back today but a group overtook the entire space so we had to leave without ordering again as there was no where to sit.

Sourdough is out of this world..its soft and spongy almost so not a jaw workout when you eat it. I CANNOT RECCOMEND THE CARDAMOM BUNS ENOUGH!!!!! They are INSANE. A little bit gooey, crisp, chewy, sweet and fragrant. How they manage to do that I do not know. Amazing. Highly recommended. I ate the bun before I could photograph it #sorrynotsorry

A taste of Stockholm in London! A really lovely, cosy bakery in Hoxton. We arrived at noon and all of the cinnamon buns had gone and there were only a few things left but what we did have was lovely. Soft, chewy buns and great cardamom flavour. Tasty coffee too. On the expensive side but friendly and nice seating in the sunshine too!

Wow, fantastic and fika! A very high quality Swedish bakery, here locally in London. The cardamom bun was fresh and to die for. I also got a small rye bun and having a sandwich on it right now for dinner as I type this; very good bread and it really enhanced the whole item. Plus very friendly service - will return (on the regular!)

3.45PM on a Saturday and all there was was 3 croissants, 5 cookies and a dozen loaves of bread. The counter had been completely emptied and cleaned out. No bun whatsoever. The lady I asked said they’d be done around 5PM... i.e. 1 hour before closing. Went to an other branch in the centre, they had heaps. What a disappointment.

Friendly service, excellent croissants (light, buttery, flaky), my sourdough part- loaf when toasted was super good but the prices were even more "wow" (6x4 inch cut loaf for 7 quid type of madness). The coffee is decent but not artisan. In general its lovely if you can stomach paying 50% more than other artisanal bakeries.

This is a friendly little place, more bakery than café, but they have four small table for customers who want to eat in. The trappings of bakery is everywhere, with sacks of flour, racks of trays and ovens. Since the café at the nearby Museum of the Home is closed, this Scandinavian bakery/café is a good alternative.

Actually the BEST coffee I had in London! 10/10! And the bakery is VERY good, definitely recommend the place and definitely coming back

The best croissant in all of London (or at least north London) hands down, the plain one is so good, they make them in house fresh from scratch with high quality butter. To. Die. For. I'd put them up with the best of the best. A good croissant is my test of a bakery, no where to hide territory!

Used to be a go-to every weekend to get a cinnamon bun, but the price is now extremely high and something has changed, buns are now stodgy (used to be beautifully crispy on top and moist on bottom) with very little cinnamon throughout. Please bring back the old method if something has changed!

I love the Cinnamon buns, and the 'Ham-Sandwitch' it's more of a great bun, with ham&salad stuffed inside not forgetting the cheese, the croissant are to die for, fluffy on the inside and crusty crust. The bread looks fantastic but, I never had the pleasure to try them out.

I do not understand the good reviews. The bread is insanely expensive compared to other bakeries in London. For 1 1/2 loads we payed more than 12 Pounds, and the sourdough was not nice, not sour enough. The price tags are so small that you cannot read them, now I know why.

Great fresh bakery who offer nice breakfast sandwiches for £3.50, they sell out normally before 11 so be quick! Amazing cardamom buns, vanilla buns and cinnamon buns along with a great selection of freshly baked breads. Lovely staff too!! Always a nice afternoon treat

Got there a little after 5pm and they were running very low on food, so I do recommend going early enough during the day. I managed to grab a super tasty sticky cardamom bun. The location is great too, in a very quiet street and with an outside seating area

Not very nice service and good but not great baked goods. Barista was not friendly and was in rush. The blueberry bun was good for a chain bakery but definitely not the level of nice artisan stuff. Croque Monsieur is lacking the flavour. Coffee is average.

My choice of bakery of London. This is where the “factory” is based for all of Fabrique’s shops and the smell of fresh bread and pastries is so good. Their cardamom rolls are the closest thing to the ones made in Copenhagen (Juno the Bakery, Hart Bagari)

I love this place but everytime I go it is cash only - which is tricky as I don't carry and there are no cashpoints near by. This makes me sad - guys please get your till sorted out! 5 for food - 0 for not being able to buy stuff there. Hence the 3.

It’s like being back in Stockholm. This hole in a wall of a gem serves great bakes. The cinnamon and cardamom buns are fab, and the croissants too. But what surprised me most were the chocolate chunk cookies - probobly the best ones I’ve ever had.

Tried it for the 1st time today. Heard so much about the place, and read all the reviews. Drove down to Hoxton, had to taste both Cinnamon and Cardamom buns just to know what all the fuss is about, and have to say, wasnt disappointed! Delicious!

The most unbelievable bread, but very expensive. Buns are perfect. Much impersonated, go for an original cinnamon or cardamon bun here. Leavain loaf toasts beautifully. Delicious and offensively expensive. But such is East London now.

Great, unusual place! It's literally a factory. Buns were extremely tasty. There is a £7 breakfast deal available: sandwich, yoghurt and coffee/tea. Yoghurt was worth trying, nevertheless it contains to much sugar in my opinion.

I always stop by here for a coffee whenever I’m in Hoxton. Great spot to visit before the Columbia road flower market on Sundays. The cardamom bun is great to have with your coffee. Sitting available inside and outside.

Great bread quality at good prices. The toast bread is really tasty, as well as the pain au chocolat and the cinnamon rolls. The coffee they serve is good too. Opens early, so it’s perfect for a morning walk and coffee.

Very very delicious cinnamon and cardamon buns. Oat milk for coffees. Only slight criticism is the wait time. There was a large queue out the door and only one woman serving buns, taking payments and doing coffee.

Ok, delicious cardamon and cinnamon bun (yes, too sweet compared to other cardamon buns I had in London but still, loved it). Lovely looking sandwiches, very nice place, hipster decor in that under-rail garage.

Really lovely bakery. We got there at about midday and most of the good stuff was gone but still had a delicious raspberry and custard Danish. The espresso was really lovely too and the staff were really nice.

Fabrique was always on the expensive side. There's no denying that the bread is delicious. I also fully understand the rising costs. However, further hikes (like £10 for small bread) couldn't be justified.

Amazing breakfast in Hoxton district. I had a raspberry chia pudding and my family tryed their pastries. All of them were delicious and I had a bite of them and can confirm it. A bit priced but worth it.

A perfect hidden bakery under the Overground. I recommend the blueberry buns, doubt you've had anything like it before. Baked just right. Grab one and pair it with a flat white on a chilly day.

Not much variety on offer. The pastries are ridiculously overpriced. The cinnamon rolls cost 3.5 quid and still taste like chemicals somehow. The bread is ok, still a bit overpriced, though.

Definitely stop for a pastry. Cinnamon bun was exceptional. Forego their ice tea selection; very mild in taste. Cafe nested away and very quiet, space for bikes and dogs alike.

Very famous Nordic bakery: their buns are very good (cardamom, cinnamon Etc. Bakery is active so inside only a couple of tables but they do coffee so it’s worth a visit
