Ok so most of you would have read my previous 2 reviews on Enterprise the first one being the worst experience I have ever had and the second one being not too bad but still for a customer service based business lacked in so many ways. Well that's right I'm back again with yet another installment 9f what not to do as a customer service based business. So I guess third time's the charm actually fourth because I have had to rent from Enterprise 4 times now with a string of unusually really had luck. Since Enterprise is located in the repair center my insurance company owns they say I have no choice but to rent from Enterprise so the last time I rented was literally less than a month ago what happened there was they gave me a truck go drive, I don't drive a truck but they insisted that it was a premium vehicle that my insurañce premiums pay for, now in my insurance it states that as a premium insurance member I will be driving a vehicle that is best suited for my needs and one that is similar to what I drive I don't drive a truck I drive a Chrysler 300 but they have me a truck even though they knew I was coming on that day at that time long story short I ended up being apologized to and so on and that was the end of it because I left it there I am tired of having to fight with these people. Bao yesterday morning my car gets rear ended again and eventually the whole bumper falls off late in the day, believe it or not I was close to the repair center I would be bringing my car anyway so I brought it in and the accepted that was great and now I had to deal with Enterprise. So the guy says all I need is the 150 damage deposit well first of all bacause this was an un prepared visit I didn't have any cash or credit card with me and the fact that I was told they would be waiving the fee of a deposit anytime I rent from them as a courtesy I didn't even think about it so this went on for about 45 minutes and even though 9beas told I would not have to pay one I did anyway just to get out 9d there then the put me in a volks wagon golf which is not what I pay for through my insurance I was told to come back and get another suitable car the next day which I have not yet but I will tell you that the last time I went through 3 different cars in one's week and the time before that 5 cars in 4 days everytime I have picked up one of their cars it has been filthy on the inside and out which now o personally cleaned Nd detailed 10 of their cars for them because I won't drive a dirty car. Not all of the staff I have felt with have been rude but on occassion their have been and they speak to me as though they are a premier rental company like I have no idea what I am talking about well this is the last time I our anything in their hands if I need a car I will take care 8f it myself and if my insurance company does not like it then ul switch companies that is how uosetbi am with Enterprise why out yourself through all of their headaches when you have enough to think about in my opinion they don't deserve one star check your car for a full tank of gas as well mine didn't have one and now I am paying for the gas if someone else because they ensure me the tanks are full everytime well not the last two times for me. Well I'm back to finish my story the biggest reason I brought the truck back was because I was sitting in a parking lot and a guy came up to the vehicle and began hitting it with a bat, I know crazy anyway when I got the truck I was told that I didn't have to pay any extra insurance because mine automatically gets switched over which is true but they don't tell you if you opt out of the additional insurance in the event something does happen to the car you are responsible for a 250.00 dollar deductable payable to the rental car company so I told the girl when I get paid I will pay it in cash she agreed and I went on my way in the Volkswagen which was replaced by a charger and I was happy my car was fixed I dropped off the rental took my car and would be paying them in two weeks but I have my car for a day and less than half and I get hit

Horrible customer service. I arrived at enterprise the start of July to pick-up a courtesy car through BMW as they have an arrangement with enterprise for customers to receive one of their 3- series BMW's. They had ran out of the 3-series so they tried down grading me to a mid-size Toyota instead. After pleading with them they finally agreed to upgrade it to a 5-series which I was very happy with. I gave a debit deposit and was in my way. Once my car was done in the shop I left the car at BMW (as instructed). I had left the city the next day and wasn't able to get my deposit. So I called in and asked if they could send it by cheque where they said it was no problem and they would contact the accounting department and get back to me. THIS HAPPENED OVER TEN TIMES even after I continued to express my frustration that I wasn't receiving a call back. These calls took place from July - November 2017, where I talked to most if not all the employees including the manager (Matthew Boehler). Finally in December, I was beyond frustrated calling in and being told "they will look into it and call me back." I was able to visit the branch myself while I was in the city. At this time I was finally refunded my money by the assistant manager (Minh-An A. Nguyen). Ive only had positive experiences through all the rental car companies in Calgary but this location has truly put a sour taste in my mouth for Enterprise.

I recently used a rental car at this place. There was a rear bumper damage when I went through the inspection together before I start to use it. I mentioned to the staff about it and he said that since the damage is smaller than the circle (which they carry all the time to measure the size of the damage), it should be fine. I used the rental car for over a month to repair my own car and today when I went back to return it, they said that the damage is made by me since there is no any record. I explained all this history but of course what they say is about the policy. I do know about the policy but what I was trying to point out was their not detailed record and work. All I could felt at this place was like I was bluffing to cover the damage. I had to pay the deductable amount to leave and now I am making the claim and police report since they are telling me that I have to do all of it even though I insist that it is not made by me. Even the police officer said this whole situation is not fair and sketchy. The car had a lot of damage from the beginning including front windshield crack and the other minor small ones but in their record, the front shield crack is the only damage it says. I will not use this location next time just because I don't trust them anymore about the rental cars they are using for business which has damages already not getting fixed.

When my vehicle was in for repair and i needed a loner vehicle. They picked me up at the shop where my vehicle was getting fixed. When i got there the staff were very friendly and helpful getting me into the vehicle and on my way. However actually having the vehicle was not as a good experience. The vehicle had a horrible smell, i had to drive with the windows down for a few days. Also I had found that the vehicle was not throughly cleaned; there was dirty tissues, a old ketchup package and a pen found. The one thing that fusterated me the most were the lack of tread on the tires. Calgary is a very cold, icy/slushy city during the winter and thats no news flash. Having tires with lack of tread makes it dangerous. I drive without winter tires on my regular vehicle just fine cause they have good tread. If you are not gonna invest in winter tires at least make sure the tires have good tread. When returning the vehicle the staff listened to my concerns and gave a discount for the future. They drove me back to the shop where my vehicle was. After I had gotten home I had recieved a call regarding a fee for being a young driver, I was not informed about the fee when picking up the loner vehicle. However they did waive that fee cause it was not disclosed beforehand. Staff do try to make you satisfied/happy.

MY GO TO. Andy and his team are amazing. There was a massive snow storm in Calgary Dec 21, and I had just sold my cherokee. My new vehicle didnt line up and my temp one was not having this snow. First I booked with points to rent the car here (never again!) I arrived, no rangler as promised online. I explained to Andy that I really just need a trusted vehicle I know, which is jeep, and he went above and beyond, called all the other rental locations and found me a cherokee. As a result I was able to cancel my reservation with my points, and they gave me a much better deal. Always call direct! Throuhout the month rental time all of them, especially Andy were awesome. I had shared that I had planned on getting a rangler for my first time and so Andy went out of his way to keep an eye out for ranglers TH so I spent the last week of my rental trying out the rangler. I drove to Fernie and got totally freaked out because I got SO many rock chips. I put nail polish on them in panic and I thought I would get charged and they were totally ok, said it happens all the time. Anyways, the entire time, was just awesome. They are the friendly, local, kind service you really do not get anymore in the world. I highly recommend thiscompany, location and people!

My cousin kindly offered to get me her friends and family discount on a vehicle for the two weeks I needed it. Upon arrival at 626 58 Ave SE Enterprise the two men working this day were fantastic. Got me in the vehicle and in my way with no issues. Upon further inspection I found the car was not throughly cleaned but considering it was right after stampede oh well. Upon return the two working were rude and refused a ride to me and another lady saying it’s out of their area. How is a ten minute drive out of your area? The assistant manager Anju Coutunho was the first to deny me a ride then refused to give me his business card just kept smiling and saying I’ll get that for you right away. Then the area rental manager Orion Green offered to help with the ride but as soon as I started to explain that I was upset with the other manager he cut me off told me I’m not getting a ride and to leave. I just spent over $700 on a rental and will NEVER RECOMMEND OR RENT FROM HERE AGAIN. The “we pick you up and drop you off “ only if it’s right next to us BS. MORE LIKE let us lie to you and abandon you in Calgary industry area to fend for yourself because we won’t hear your complaints. UNBELIEVABLE

Blackfoot Enterprise was an absolute amazing experience for my first time renting a car. Every single employee from management to customer service had gone above and beyond. I had placed a hold online to a Jeep Wrangler but to due to unfortunate circumstances for the last customer they were no longer to supply that one but it was no worries what so ever. They had upgraded me to a 2021 BMW X1 which made for an amazing drive which was very well suited for the highway. Unfortunately I got a chip in the windshield on my way up to Edmonton but thankfully was helped out with getting proper protection with great recommendations from the staff and had no concerns when dropping off the car. When it comes to renting a car I will always consider Blackfoot Enterprise first and any will refer anyone who I know that will be in need a rental. Thank you to the amazing staff and management at Blackfoot Enterprise and the amazing roadside assistance. - Dallis

IF YOU BOOK A CAR FROM HERE, YOU MIGHT NOT GET ONE!!! I reserved a car from this Enterprise location a month before my pick-up date. The day before my rental was to start I received voicemail message to call back and confirm my reservation, or else they would cancel it. I called to confirm, and at that point everything was fine. My flight to Calgary was delayed, so I called to advise them that I would would be picking up the car 2 hours later than my scheduled pick up time. I was then transferred to a manager who told me that they wouldn't have a car for me. The manager suggested that I try and call other car rental agencies to get one, but offered no help. This left me scrambling to rent a car for my 11 day vacation with my family. I have had good experiences with Enterprise in the past, but now I will never book a car from them again. If you decide to book a car from this Enterprise location, BEWARE, THE MAY LEAVE YOU STRANDED.

Update: I have still not had a response from Enterprise. Noone responded the email address below. My insurance company has also tried to get a hold of Enterprise with no luck. I would like a response please! Renter Beware!!! Worst customer service, beware of roof hail damage scam. This Enterprise has the worst possible management. The management was very rude to my 74 year-old mother and charged her a deductible for hail damage that was a) not even visible and b) not mentioned that THE ROOF HAS DIFFERENT COVERAGE THAN THE REST OF THE CAR and c) did not happen when she rented the car. Global News has been contacted about this scam. The assistant manager and manager were very rude and basically told her to pay $500 and there was nothing should could do about it. BEWARE OF THIS ENTERPRISE and perhaps all others in Calgary.

Oh man, what can I say? Enterprise was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. They picked me up at A1 auto body, took me to pick up my rental vehicle which was very clean, presentable and ready to go out front, no waiting which I appreciate. Then when I was coming back to return the vehicle. It was done so quickly and efficiently (literally minutes) which allowed me to continue on with my day and still meet with clients with very little interruption. And then to top it off, they dropped me off no questions asked to where I needed to go to pick up my vehicle again, at no charge. I would highly recommend using Enterprise car rental to anybody that’s looking for a commercial vehicle, a pleasure vehicle, or even a vehicle in their luxury car department. Thanks again Enterprise, you guys truly are amazing!!

Terrible experience. Booked a pickup truck 3 weeks ago. The day before I was supposed to pick up the vehicle, I was concerned that I had not received a call from the location and went to look up the number. That's when I noticed the location was closed. I wasn't happy that the website let me book to closed location. I called the 1-800 number and the agent said, "Oh it's a good thing you called". They were able to find a pickup truck at the crowfoot location. Then 10 minutes later an agent calls from this location and said they have a truck and I could go to either location. This location was closer and when I showed up the next day, I was informed that they do not have a truck. I asked about the crowfoot location and was told they don't have a truck either and could not find me one. Ruined my vacation.

I rented a vehicle almost 2 weeks ago. Did the deposit option, paid the deposit. At the time of pick up gave them my address I wanted the deposit check sent too. Dropped off the vehicle after hours. Called the following day at 730am to ensure the address was updated. Which it was not. Updated it again with whoever answered the phone. Called today after not receiving the check and found out that the address still had not been updated and the check was sent to an address I have never lived at How hard is it too update an address when a customer calls in. Its such an inconvenience, especially when the deposit is too go toward a payment. Very frustrating! Apparently, this is getting fixed but my trust in this location is next to nothing now. We will see..........................

My husband was picked up from the auto collision shop by a young man named Mac who drove recklessly and ran over train tracks while speeding and was wildly unsafe. He was negligent in discussing the terms and conditions of the use of the car as well as what insurance would cover. There was a slight superficial crack on the windshield and when the car was returned they demanded we pay $900 upfront and when asked about how we could submit a claim for the windshield damage they were unhelpful and lacked any knowledge of how insurance claims worked. A supervisor then stepped in and said how everything the representative was wrong had mentioned was wrong. I would never ever rent another car from this place and will avoid this franchise entirely in the future.

I understand that travelling right now might be quite expensive than usual. We went to Hawaii in August and rented a car from Enterprise at Hilton Hawaiian Village for a day as we want to explore the Northshore. The rate was $232/day. Quite expensive for a mid-sized SUV. But upon return home, I realized that my credit card was charged twice! I tried reaching out to the agent as well as customer service but my effort fell into deaf ears. I’m not sure if this is the current modus but I’m warning everyone to be careful in choosing the trusted company. We are again heading to LA this 1st week of November and too bad that ENTERPRISE lost my business and perhaps some of my friends too as I can’t stop myself sharing this disappointment to everyone!

Overall rental process was easy enough, But left some expensive pens ($200) in the truck accidently and when I called for them was told I would get a call back. a week passed and didnt hear anything, so i called to followed up. Only to be put on hold again while they took a 5 minute look around. Was told that they havent seen them, but will keep an eye out. Was also told that "Typically they throw pens away if they find them" To which i replied that these are not pens you would just toss so someone took them. Annoyed that I forgot them, More annoyed that they clearly do not care if you forget anything in the car and if you do, it likely gets "thrown out" or more than likely taken home.

Wow, these guys are amazing! After a car crash, my engine seized a week later. I was desperate for a rental to get to work but none of their drivers were free. So the branch manager himself got me within half an hour! When I brought the car back that night because I could not afford the rental longer, they found out I had no transportation and didn't know how to even get to dealerships to get a new car. So they gave me an extra special deal so I would not be stuck and have even more problems. They were all so kind and helpful and supportive. Just what I needed that day! Very impressed and extremely thankful! For all my future rental needs, this is where I will go!

Eric is absolutely the worst manager I’ve ever dealt with. He closed my rental agreement with disclosing the charges. I have informed him that my rental is $675 a month he said ok don't worry. I have informed for some reason if you close the agreement I would be charged a regular rate he said don't worry I will take care of it. Now! I got charged 515 for 2 weeks! And I got charged 940 a month I The worst of it he did not disclose any of this info to me. None!!! Unpleasant experience!!! when contacting Eric and brought this issue to him, start making excuses. I would like to speak with his supervisor in Calgary.

Highly recommend this Enterprise location. I had to bring my SUV to the body shop and my insurance said my rental would be provided by this location. I dropped off my car at the body shop on November 20, 2023 and I was provided a ride from the body shop to this location by Enterprise. The woman checking me in was very friendly and the entire process took less than 5 minutes. I returned the rental on December 1, 2023, and the man who checked me out did it within a few seconds and then provided me a ride back to the body shop. Overall it was a great experience. Extremely quick and very friendly staff.

Enterprise is a joke. They say they are going to refund me my 250 plus should of refund me my 150 that they always hold for tickets etc, but still haven’t received that. They are full of lies about me not filling up the car with fuel before giving it back. Make sure you guys take pictures of everything before they start ripping off more people. They always say they will look in to things but they don’t because it’s been over a month and still no phone call nor refund back on my credit card. I guess it’s time to drive there and deal with it face to face if I don’t get my refund immediately

Rented a Ford cargo van last week and the entire experience was great! Welcomed by multiple staff and managers, explanation of the rental was very thorough, walk around was well explained and vehicle was clean and ran great for the 4 days I had it. I was given a courtesy call the evening I rented the van which I thought was a nice touch. Returning the vehicle was also a breeze. Doors were opened at 0730 and I was in, out and off to work in under 10 minutes. I really appreciated the service so all of our corporate and my personal rentals will continue to go through Enterprise Blackfoot.

They truly made my renting journey fantastic. I lefty jacket and charger in the car. Tried to come back the next day and nobody could explain where is was, where the car was. I kept getting redirected to different locations. Went and checked and nobody had an answer. Then I finally got told I would get a call when they find it, and it's been weeks. The car rental company itself is great and I understand it's my fault for leaving my belongings. But surely they could have a better system if there is anything left in the vehicle to follow up with the last person that rented not just have things disappear into the abyss.

Terrible customer service. Vehicle ready almost two hours after confirmed booking time. Flat tire - no help from Enterprise - expected to drive on flat tire to return vehicle. Vehicle returned to swap out - Manager's only concern was office closing in 10 minutes. After heavy snowfall when clearing snow off vehicle noticed license plate had expired registration date of Dec/20. Contacted Manager - Manager advised "system should have notified", "COPS probably won't pull you over", "let me see what I can do for you". 48 hours later no response from Manager.

The customer service at this location was so stellar I was inclined to actually leave a review. Jeremy & Jason went above and beyond expectation, even going to another lot to get me the equivalent to the car I usually drive. So friendly and approachable and made the whole experience of renting a car due to an accident, so much less stressful. You can tell that this location is a good group of people as everyone was friendly and smiling even when they were clearly insanely busy (thanks to the calgary icy weather!) * * * * * Would definitely return

A local auto shop set up a car rental for me as my car was getting work done on it. I was advised to drop it back at the auto shop when I pick up my car. A sale person by the name of Zach called and was extremely rude and said I should of dropped it off at enterprise. Then he threatened me that if it was damaged in anyway that I was liable. The rental was safely locked in a parking area with no outside access. I believe communication is key and this was absolutely a terrible experience. In no way should a customer be shammed.

After 4 months of returning a vehicle leased by my insurance company, they take 188 CAD from my credit card, without any justification, after a kindly answered call they return 23.63 CAD. 164.37 CAD are missing from my credit card and no one responds. Don't take risks, go to another car rental agency. I think something is being configured.The car rental was handled by my insurance company. I gave the information I had in two calls made. Almost a month later I have no answer, the money is still lost

During my visit, I got in 1 minute before closing. After travelling from Airdrie when I THOUGHT I had a reservation by my insurance. Unfortunately, there was no vehicles in Airdrie so I quickly drove to this location to see if they had something. With 1 minute before closing, the staff was still able to help me out and get me a vehicle. I am very appreciative of the help I received from the staff at this location. Keep up the good work during this busy season! Thank you again.

Tess, Nilo, and Bunmi are the BEST to deal with! Nilo and Tess are super efficient and accommodating for my company, and Bunmi makes hilarious jokes every time I come see her. Thanks for all the help! Here are two photos of the beautiful vehicles that I have rented. I love that the van still had a six disc CD changer in the dash! I brought two dozen CDs with me for a business trip I had to do to Northern Saskatchewan. My teddy bear also came with me, and he wore his seatbelt!

I had a really good rental experience; the man who picked me up was incredibly helpful and patient with me I can’t remember his name but he was great! As well as the car- super nice and clean, safe and fairly new, customer service was great and this being my first time renting didn’t know how all this rental stuff really worked Eric really helped out explained everything and cleared all the confusion for me he went above and beyond I’m so grateful :) thank you!!

Been through a hell fire storm with insurance, these guys in conjunction with über auto body have been amazing. Shout out to Chris Lapointe for being such a helpful man and getting it all figured for the direct billing issue with my insurance. You guys are great. Also the pick up service is extremely helpful. Super appreciate that. It's convenient it's so close to work for me as well. Will also recommend customers to them for rentals as well. Thanks again Chris.

Andy is excellent. Our daughter Angela has had to rent a car a number of times over the past few months and Andy and his staff were amazing and could not help us enough!! This was at the Forest Lawn location and imagine our surprise today when we found out he had moved to the Blackfoot location . We are definitely moving to this location and will follow Andy wherever he goes. He makes sure we get the best service they can give. Thank you Andy!!

I had a pleasant and effortless experience with this Enterprise. I was impressed with the thoroughness they took at the pickup and return. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw their gazillion of inspection gadgets (I include a pic of the damage circle that other comments mentioned). After the return, I noticed an incorrect charge and emailed customer service. They refunded the charge in no time then emailed and called me to confirm.

I cannot thank these guys enough for making my weekend getaway happen. My plans fell through with another car rental, but these guys were able to get me in right away and I had a car in less an hour. They let me use their washroom AND I was taken right to where the cars were being washed and disinfected, where I drove out from. Thanks for the exceptional customer service and I will be doing business with you guys again!

Great service ! Between my insurance company Co-operators the body shop A1 Autobody and these guys I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING !Even when I over ran my return date absolutely not a problem very professional easy to work with explained everything including the late return payments dealt through my insurance! I would recommend these guys and definitely use them again ! Thank for making it hassle free !

This branch is trying to blame me for an imperfection on the roof of the car that could have absolutely been there before. There is no way I would have noticed this when I first received the car. I insisted I hadn’t placed anything on top of the roof and had parked it in a garage. Very disappointing. Don’t use enterprise unless you want to get stuck with charges for damages you did not cause.

With my car in the shop for hail damage, Enterprise provided a shuttle that took me to and from the autobody which made it super convenient and fast. I wish I remembered the names of the guys who helped me out, but i would say the entire team that was there the day i picked up and dropped off the rental were extremely welcoming and provided great detail! I thank them for a great experience!

We planned for a ski trip to Kimberly and booked a car through 3rd party website which they offered ski equipments. I received a call a day before our trip and they arranged everything. Although they didnt have ski equipments, which is the 3rd party website fault, they behaved very good and offered us all options and gave us a good deal. Definitely will contact them for next trip.

I tried out this enterprise location yesterday after renting mainly from budget before and I was absolutely blown away by the service. I showed up, and within 10 minutes I was behind the wheel. The rep was incredibly friendly and helped me get everything sorted and I was quickly on my way. Great selection of vehicles and rates as well. They have earned themselves a loyal customer.

These people are outstanding. They truly care about the people that rent cars from them. Today in Calgary there was a wicked snow storm. I called them to tell them I could not drive there car in the storm. They came pick me up and the car drove me where I need to go so I could get home. They really care and made me feel like I mattered. No judgement just caring.

I was having some auto body work done through my insurer and Enterprise was providing me my rental while my vehicle was being repaired. I was met at the door by Anuj who greeted me by name. I recently rented a SUV from them. When I pick up the vehicle, they explain me everything well. One thing I really like about is that the associate didn't push me or scared me to buy their insurance. She just explained me and I declined. It was done in 5 minutes. Returning the car was also supper fast. I would recommend them.

2nd time renting from this location, they promise you a type of vehicle and after waiting for an hour, they swap it out for a smaller vehicle. I was promised a full size truck or SUV and they brought me a compact suv. I mentioned I work in construction and need a truck ( as my f150 was in the shop for repairs )

Apparently they have a tidy little scam where they don't do a full inspection of the vehicle when they rent it out, and then when you bring it back, surprise, they found new damage and you have to pay a deductible for it, even if you didn't drive it for the whole two days you rented it for.

They had my car ready to go for ok prices, but my issue is that they left allseason tires on there despite it being winter! The vehicle I rented doesn’t drive well on slush either so it kind of feels like they’re hoping for an accident to happen. Winter tires ought to be mandatory.

Never have I experienced such horrible cutomer service and accomodation through a rental company. The assistant manager there is very rude and has a really bad atitudie. I would highly reccomond going through discount or budget instead of enterprise, at least not this location!

As with most rental agencies the live phone support is beyond the worst on earth. COVID is over. Get your game on track. I reserved a car with an agent. Pickup at 10am. I arrived and no cars were available. What was the reservation for??? What a sad company.
