The agent I rented the the car from went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. I rented a car for the weekend to take my family to Ottawa for a week for a health appointment. Unfortunately I was robbed, and the keys were stolen along with my wallet and other personal items. As I had not purchased RAP, I was obligated to make a $1000 deposit while the claim was processed. Having been robbed of all my ID and credit cards, all access to my accounts had been frozen and would not be released without ID, which I was unable to provide as it had been stolen. Quite a situation. The rental agent worked with me and area management to forgo the $1000 deposit, retaining only the $300 damage deposit. He kept me well informed during the entire process. When I required a vehicle the following weekend to pick up my family, the claim had not yet been resolved as the car was at the dealership being rekeyed. Again, the rental agent worked with me, calling the dealership, getting the bill for the work to finalize and settle my claim so that I was able to rent another vehicle using the debit method. This reps above and beyond performance was a decisive factor in my ability to work through an otherwise traumatic event without the further stress of an over complicated administrative process, and enabled me to pickup my family at a time I certainly needed to have them near. His compassion, effort and professionalism are truly appreciated and deserve recognition. I will be a customer for life, and will recommend Enterprise to anyone anytime, with confidence it will be an excellent experience. Thanks Basil for all you're effort.

Beware, go elsewhere!!! We were unfortunate to have a very minor ding in the rental van that was provided by our insurance company while our van was being accessed for damages from a separate accident (not our fault) at A B C Auto Body. Little did we know that they will give their rental van the 'Cadillac' fix - meaning even if it's a very minor ding on the bumper they will replace the whole bumper with new parts, charge you 100% rental occupancy for any time the van is in the shop, charge you some theoretical 'diminishment of value' even though the part has been completely replaced with new parts, charge you for exorbitant paint, labour rates, admin fees, etc., etc. The kicker is that you have absolutely NO input to these costs and how the rental car is fixed!!!! And meanwhile they are threatening us with taking the bill to the creditors...!! When we said we wanted to take it to the police accident reporting location they said the van wasn't available, nor did we have time to file an insurance claim so that they could question the repair estimate... Meanwhile our van that had the accident was taken to the same A B C Auto Body and they said it couldn't be fixed and we are still haggling with the insurance company about a settlement and we're driving a damaged van - which wasn't even our fault!!! It really seems like Enterprise and A B C Auto Body are in this together....

Worst experience from this location, I felt discriminized by one of the employee Zaid Aslan. Looks like he is the manager, His way or no way and yelling at the customers, never seen some thing like this before. Even he was keep insisting you can talk to my Area Manager. Long story short, rented a 7 seater would like to extend the booking. I am absolutely fine what ever the extra costs, including Penalty. He has given no option at all just return the car, and he can arrange a different 6 seater. (What if some one is in trouble and can't get the car for 3-4 in thier travel due to emergency, Enterprise should have an policy or procedure in this scenario's). I took the car back, and also booked a 6 seater in the online which was available to book. Zaid told you are not my list, you are not going to get the car thats it. no other option at all, as being renting cars from enterprise from more than a decade for our companies, this was the first time had this experience at this location. did spend $24,00 for my last rental, atleast deserve some respect towards customers, not yelling and discriminized. If the cars are not available to rent, Enterprise should have updated thier website. I wouldnt have booked if the website is up to date with latest availability.

DISCUSSED!! THEFT!! If I could rate lower I would. I was sent to enterprise by my insurance company for a replacement car because of an accident. After returning the car I was notified that a $880 charge was made on my credit card from them. I contacted them and was told by Victor that I was wrong and I was to pay for it not my insurance company. I never received any notification nor did I authorize any payment on my credit card. Later I received a phone call from Victor asking me to cancel my credit card transaction from them. I received a text message from the manager Alicia (see photo) admitting to the mistake. I then look at my credit card statement to find $1030 charge to my account. I never received an invoice, phone call, email or anything that I was being charged. This is theft as far as I’m concerned. My credit card company even accepted my dispute. I have not received anything from enterprise. My company and my clients will never use this rental company again. SHAME ON YOU.

Attention FRAUD !!! Stay far away from this place. I read similar reviews here. It appears other customers were defrauded at this location. Someone pointed out, it is a small place, tight storage for inventory vehicles, easy to damage while moving around. And when they do damage their vehicles, they are looking for an unsuspecting customer to pay for repair. We were referred to Enterprise by TD Insurance. I was on a hurry heading to airport, dropped my wife to pick up a rental. They didn't do a proper walk around, handed her a car with a dent and blamed it on her. According to them it was only rented once and returned without issues. That means they damaged it themselves. This is not an error, this is an outright fraud. Supervisors and managers cover for employees. If you don't notice damage and sign papers, it is a done deal for them. And who knows what they will bring up later. After that, they are pure ignorance. Don't make the same mistake, never trust these people.

Very upset. I had to take a car from here because my car was in the shop and the dealership deals with them. When I was told to check out the car was told to look for scraps and scratches. Returned it and they found a dent which depending on the light and which way you are standing it cannot be seen. They say it was not there and depending on when the car was returned the lighting that day it probably not seen. I am now having to pay for damage that I did not cause. The car was dirty when I picked it up and he even said oh looks like nobody cleaned the car. Just waiting to hear how much they want to rip me off now. Other reviews have stated staff seemed rushed. Well thats how I felt as well. Dont tell me you always inspect each car perfectly. Dont rent from them. If you do that an hour to look over the car. Make them wait even if they don't want to it will save you money.

Very disappointed with CS . I am a platinum Enterprise plus member had a very bad experience with this Branch . I rented a compact SUV for 4 days using my points with enough balance left. I wanted to extend the rental for few more days. so I called the office to extend it. The person answered the call told me that they can extend the rental and use all my points. Today i dropped off the vehicle and see a charge of CAD 300+ on my CC. I called the office . The manager told me that he wont be able use my points because the reservation was not made to use all my points. If that's the case why they didn't tell me when I called to extend it? They also promised that if I drop off the vehicle before today noon they wont charge for extra hours but they charged for it. They gave wrong information and false promises. They don't wanted to fix the customer complaint.

One star is more than enough for this. I reserved a car one day ahead. I went there and there was no car available as promised which by the way doesn't make any sense. I was told that there will be a car ready after 30 minutes to 45 minutes which is very disappointing and disrespectful. I was asked to pay everything in full before I'm given any car at all. The employee kept rushing me to get the payment processed but what about the car I wanted to rent. Why on earth there is a reservation service if it's useless and people don't get what they reserved. BY FAR THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO RENT A CAR. I asked for a refund they said a cheque will be mailed out and it could take 5 business days which is very disrespectful since they were just paid in full for everything. So as long as they receive their money they don't really care about your refund.

Very poor attention to.detailjng their vehicles. My mo. Had to get a replacment for insurance. They booked her a 2022 Ford fusion. When we arrive we get a 2022 rvr. They don't have snow tires snd this one has scratches all down the side of the car and dents... and to top.everyrhing off there was a deposit that I didn't know of.. Update. Email person and no answer at all for over 24 hrs Neweat Update: the response from you guys is hilarious..why did the vehicle incovience me because it was not able to do the tasks required from the vehicle I own... Shout out to enterprise for not giving us a vehicle that had enough space for my grandmother's walker and wheelchair and now we need to pay for additional cabs for her monthly errands... worst part is you have to pay even more to request the van cabs! Thanks enterprise

"YOU KNOW HOW TO TAKE THE RESERVATION, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO HOLD THE RESERVATION" -SEINFELD. SECOND TIME RENTING WITH ENTERPRISE. THEIR CARS SEEM CLEAN AND THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLES ARE ALWAYS "OR SIMILAR" AND NEVER THE ADVERTISED CAR. I PAID AND RESERVED A FORD EDGE IN CALGARY AND WAS GIVEN A 2WD CHEVY EQUINOX BASE MODEL WITH LITTLE TRUNK SPACE. I GOT A VW WAGON AT RYMAL ROAD, WHICH WAS NOT COMPARABLE TO MY VEHICLE BEING REPAIRED. THE WAGON WAS FROM QUEBEC AND REAKED OF CIGARETTES. ENTERPRISE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A VEHICLE RESERVED FOR MY NOON APPOINTMENT AND HAD TO RELY ON WHATEVER VEHICLE WAS DROPPED OFF THAT MORNING. ALL VEHICLES ARE BASE MODELS AND IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, A DOWNGRADE FROM WHAT YOU EXPECTED TO RECEIVE.

I returned my rental car on Jan 26. The car was spotless and had the same amount of fuel in it as when I picked it up. When I asked for my deposit to be be refunded $150 cad, I was refused. When I questioned this a young brunette with glasses came out of the office and started screaming at me. I left because she was clearly not able to have a civil conversation. I returned at 1645 and secured the number of the area manager, Mike. I called the number, he did not answer the phone and did not return my call. Avoid at all costs. Worst customer service I have ever received Update, the email address the owner posted in response to my review, doesn't even get some one to email you. It is just for show

Excellent experience with the staff and shuttle service while my car was being repaired at the CSN east mountain body shop for 5 days. The staff at enterprise here gave me two options, a chevy malibu or a toyota camry. I chose the Camry and it was very pleasant driving around. Shout out to the main guy with glasses he is very nice man (sorry I don't know the name). The shuttle guy with beautiful luscious hair (sorry I don't know the name) was good, anybody can wish to have his hair. The last shuttle guy named Oscar who shuttled me to pick-up my car once it was repaired had a great sense of humour. This Enterprise branch is great! I hope they get all the bonuses! The employees seemed happy.

Not impressed with the customer service. I was told a car would be ready by the end of the day for me and I would be picked up as my car was totalled and deemed undrivable due to an accident. Nobody contacted me to let me know that a car will NOT be ready for me today, I had to call them to ask when I can come get the car and was then asked "can you come tomorrow instead" which I now have to take another day off work for. In which I responded that I need the car for when it was promised me and was told again that I will be called later when the car is ready, the place is now closed and I have not received any calls. Poor communication, poor customer service, I don't advise going here.

I am a newcomer to Hamilton. Emigrating is immensely overwhelming and stressful! Andrew & Dan have been wonderful. I am so grateful for your patience, understanding and mostly your ability to laugh. Humor saves the day everytime :) Anthony and Bill have been great in picking me up at my location and taking me home. Always with friendly conversation. Some of my funniest interactions in Canada so far have been with Anthony. He's fantastic :) Great service deserves to be acknowledged. Great place. Good fair prices. The manager was most helpful and accommodating. Only reason the don't get 5 stars is due to the useless weekend hours or lack there of and the lack of winter tires on their vehicles. I had my rental for 2 weeks. The vehicle was in a good state of repair, clean and well cared for. I requested an economy vehicle to fit my needs. They started the paperwork over the phone and arranged for me to pick up the car. To my surprise they were out of economy sized when I arrived and I was given a small SUV. They did this at no extra cost to me. All and all good experience and I will return should I need a rental in future.

This location deserves 10 stars! The customer service here is phenomonal. I called a different location and originally they told me that they would have a car available around 3:30 or 4 PM and when I called back they said they didn't have anything until the next day. I called the rymal location and immediately was given such great service from a male at the front desk. He told me immediately that he could have a car ready for me within an hour than when I went to go pick it up I dealt with the branch manager Paisely who was so kind and sweet as soon as I walked in. I would definetely recommend this location! They deserve so much praise

Needed a rental car today and Chris went above and beyond to make this happen. I'm not going to get into the logistics but we have staff from out of province working on a job in Hamilton and I am not on site currently I had to deal with things over the phone. Top Notch customer service, can do attitude and instead of creating roadblocks Chris was creating solutions that work for everyone! That's business and that's business sense and that's amazing customer service!!! This job is a three-part installation process so we will only be renting our cars from this location when were doing work in Hamilton! Thank you Chris and Enterprise!

I gave 4 star because I got experience at first time until I met Zaid. He was very kind and knew what customer need. 2 weeks before I had already came to confirm that would be available a car for me same class with what my car got fix on Carstar. My insurance gave me the reference number and she told everything set. Guess what, she gave me much smaller a car that what supposed to be. Than next day, another lady told me I would have another car that I was hoping something bigger. But It was totally wrong, she gave me same small car with what I got, only different brand. Luckily I met Zaid and everything done very well.

The service was great and everyone was pleasant. The only improvement though is getting down on the details of rental. I didn't know I said yes and signed for a bumper-to-bumper coverage. There is no way of getting back my money cause I should have listened. But after waiting for so long for the rental car, I just wanted to be out from there. The guy who assisted me did not clarify what I am supposed to be paying. I thought I was just signing the lease itself. He is alright, but he is too concerned with the speed of service not the quality. So maybe you guys can look into this.

I've been very hesitant to rate or reply because in the past I have had nothing but positive experiences with Enterprise. However the person that checked me in -twice- was imo beyond useless and the reason I would hesitate to use this company again. Everyone else was nice, professional and helpful. My check in and rental was less than a one star but the car and the check out staff was 5 star which is why they got the mid rating. If you deal with Chris - ask for someone else. The 'please and thank you' said as one word, is not sincere in any way.

It's better to find other rental car places. Enterprises and Avis in Hamilton city are really expensive. Better Google it and find in Mississauga close to the Airport. These locations provide pickup and drop off from Terminal 1 Viscount Hotel. (Take train from Terminal 1, after Sheraton Hotel the next stop is Viscount Hotel. Get off to this exit and go downstairs, call the rental companies and let them know you are at VISCOUNT HOTEL. They will pick you up as soon as) Good luck and save around $400 extra for 3-4 day trip. Staff was very friendly and easy to deal with. I went in in the afternoon, and I was out in a few short minutes. The process was extremely painless. The only time I felt there could be an improvement in service was on Saturday, they are a bit short staffed. So I waited my turn and getting a courtesy shuttle wasn't really available. But for the 3 hours they are open I don't expect them to staff more. I also was pleasantly surprised by the Chev Trax I rented, excellent mileage and comfy ride, but not a lot of trunk space.

Been renting from Enterprise at two locations in Mississauga for the past three years expecting the same good service at this location. Booked online a week in advance for a full size car. Get there and no full size available. Offered to try two downsize models but both were dirty inside and out and one smelled like it was smoked in it. Finally offered a SUV at no extra charge which was nice but rear door did not work. There are other locations in the area and I don't think I will be back at this one again.

Awful place. Rented a car, was quoted $233 when we booked online. Got there and was somehow told $301. Then looked at the credit card charge and it was $333. We were also told that there was no after hours key drop, so we worried most of the trip about what we were going to do between noon and our flight time of 7 PM on Saturday. Also the car fuel gauge broke halfway through our trip, so we had no clue if we had filled the tank to the 3/4 full level it was given to us. Horrible service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They went out of there way to accommodate me. I have arthritis and new cars have many buttons that need pushing like the trunk and gear shift. They helped me with many cars. When they did not have one that accommodate me they called one of their other locations and was going to take me there to accommodate me. They where so patient and kind and kept telling me it was no problem. I would recommend this location.The young men where genuinely kind and eager to please.

This is a great branch of Enterprise. All staff are friendly and helpful. Luis the manager, was helpful when my rental was towed when a door wouldn't close properly, and needed to be switched in London, ON. The Hamilton manager called back to follow up and ensure everything was getting sorted. The London location (Hyde Park Rd) gets a negative 4 on service, communication, and understanding how many seat belts are required for the number of humans in the vehicle.

I have always had a positive experience renting from Enterprise and this rental... was exceptional! Admittedly there was a slight glitch at the start but Andrew took immediate responsibility for the problem and took care of everything instantly... and more! I won't go into all the details but I will say "OUTSTANDING customer service", really. Having recently relocated to Hamilton, Andrew, Chris and their team will be my go-to rental company from now on.

I'd rather take public transit then to ever deal with Enterprise. I was very disappointed in the vehicle I was given and when I requested a more appropriate vehicle, I was given one that needed servicing. They lack customer service and any common sense. 3/4 of the staff working that day were sitting on the computer anyways. You should take another look at your employees. This was an awful experience. Please do not give your business here!!

I had the need for a rental after 5:00pm on a wednesday. No one else was open or would answer the calls from my insurance company. This place did. Christopher L. French came back to the office after hours in his workout gear, got a car ready, drove to pick me up, and set me up. This guy went above and beyond during a pandemic, doing everything to the letter making me feel safe. I really appreciate what Enterprise and Chris did for me!

The staff at this branch always surprise me with their latest fleet of vehicles. My experience with this branch staff including Basil, Andyen and Jeff has been very pleasant and I would say these guys have some world class experience in terms of customer handling skills. They really know how to take of their customers and their service is beyond excellent, I would highly recommend this Rymal branch of Enterprise for car rentals.

Was in a traffic accident and needed a vehicle so decided to go to Enterprise Rent a Car and glad I did. I dealt with Katyln which made my rental process seamless. Katelyn and Mike (I think these are their names/spelling) were very helpful, despite my modifying snd cancelling my reservation. My needs were changing due to an illness in my family and I ended up cancelling altogether. I truly appreciate their flexibility and understanding. Both were very personable and professional. This is the second time I have used this location and I will definitely rent from here in the future.

I've been renting from here for over 2 years, mostly for leisure. The staff is exceptional and accommodating! Definitely my go-to location when I need a rental. For the bad reviews: I always get accidental damage coverage, cause what if something happens that's out of your control? Blaming the company is not a good excuse. Anyone could have dinged the car without you noticing while you're parked in a lot especially.

I got a rental car through my insurance at this location and all I can say is that Paisley did an excellent job to make this experience great. I was having issues with my insurance company since they were not communicating well, but Paisley did her best to make sure that I have the right vehicle that I asked for, for the whole period until my car got repaired. Great service and friendly people. I rented a car from this location on two occasions when I had to leave my car for repairs at Carstar for a few days. Very friendly and helpful people. I needed to rent a car for a month when my car got totaled, and this place was so kind, quick, and friendly. They helped me out so much and even upgraded my rental car for no extra charge they didn't have anything cheaper. Upon returning it, they were super speedy and even offered to drive me where I needed to go since I no longer had a car. The whole team provided exceptional service!

Every single staff member was so wonderful at this location. I dealt primarily with the two guys but Paisley was also very kind. I was renting a vehicle not for pleasure but because I was in an accident and all of the staff listened, were compassionate and genuinely seemed to care. Paisley and the team at Enterprise offer a great service. My courtesy vehicle was handled very professionally and in a timely manner. I had requested a pick up but was given a big SUV as none were available. Vehicle was clean and paperwork was quick. A circle check was completed before accepting and after return of vehicle. Would use Enterprise again if future need requires.

Jeff is thee guy!! The only person through my whole process of being in a car accident that actually went out of their way to accommodate me. We book our car online. Went in to pick it up. We had Matish who helped us, he was very informative, and honest. After our trip we returned the rental car and Matish was there and he was helpful, we returned the car in good condition and with a full tank of gas. We recieved our cheque of the cash deposit in the mail less than 3 days! Thanks Matish.

Worst customer service ever I have seen. The representative was not professional at all. “AWEFUL SERVICE” - Never ever going to this location or using enterprise in the future. We rented a van from this location and our son forgot his Jabra ear buds in the back cupholder. We called shortly after returning it, once he realized they were still there and they "couldn't find them". Their attitude was a "finders keepers" type attitude. "You forgot them, so too bad for you". Terrible and VERY unprofessional. ☹

They overcharged me by over $70.00. I returned the car on Sunday and called them to ask them for the final receipt, I called 2x. Each time they assured me they would send me the receipt. They did not. They didn’t close the account till a week later and they overcharged me. Now every day that I try to call I can’t get through.

Paisley was my Christmas Angel on the morning of December 24th. It was the morning after the huge storm, and my vehicle, wallet, cell, keys, ID...Everything....had just been stolen. Came to this location after Centennial Road Enterprise bollocks’d up my reservation. The people at Rymal Road were amazing, got me in my rental car early and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Next time I’ll just come here even though there are other closer locations. Thanks guys!

Rented a Jetta today. Car was in terrible and unsafe condition. Tires were nearly bald. New manager? I have been renting from them for years and have never seen this before. I will not be using them again. I will let the dealer know as well.
