As others have said - looking forward to a great night out in the premium lounge- ruined by this horrible cinema - food didn’t arrive - they had to be reminded twice- ordered a drink before the movie and a bottle of wine - then told after we had paid for 2 more drinks that never turned up at the end of the movie- they only allowed 4 drinks in a 3.5hr movie. And we had to them ask them for a refund before leaving. Despite almost everyone else in the cinema having multiple cocktails. Terrible experience and no indication of this policy when paying a fortune for ‘premium’ lounge and tickets. We even spent a significant amount on Ubers too and from so we could enjoy a drink with no issues.

It's a great local cinema. Located at Coorparoo Square, there is plenty of parking both in the complex and on the street. The cinema is also easily accessible for wheelchairs. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are modern and well kept. There is plenty of leg room in the normal cinima and lots of space in the premium, with the added options to recline the seat and order food which is brought to you. All seating was comfortable. The food was ok in the cinema. However, there are also local restaurants to choose from. If you love your movies, I recommend their membership, which is great value for money and their icecream Choc Tops are fantastic.

Very small cinema, with a hand rail in eye view of the screen in the back row. Also saw a movie yesterday that clearly is not a kids movie & is advertised as such so why are tickets sold to mothers with kids under the age of 3 seeing at PG 13+ rated movie. Worst experience to concentrate, focus & enjoy the movie because of one selfish mother taking her one+ year old that cried, played & wanders around, falls over in the dark 3 times then screams & cries loudly with the mother getting up & down numerous times to attempt at keeping the child quiet & entertained while her 2+ year old was left unattended in her allocated seat to watch the movie unsupervised!

It must be difficult being a cinema in Brisbane, because there are so many fantastic options. One of the most recent additions, Dendy Cinemas Coorparoo is located conveniently in a pleasant complex with several brunch, lunch, and dinner dining options, as well as a Gelato place and supermarket. Excellent for sandwiching your movie experience with a meal and/or beverage. The cinemas themselves are great, although there's less foyer than some cinemas so if you go at peak times, make sure your elbows are armed. The standard theatres are quite comfortable, sound and picture is great, and I highly recommend the popcorn. Time to book some more tickets.

Went to a late session in the Premium lounges. The cinema itself was comfortable and the staff were lovely, but the food and coffee was horrendous and definitely not worth the money ($59 for the delight experience). It was definitely an experience . Overcooked / dry karage chicken bites, S&P squid, with three small mac & cheese croquettes (all microwaved?). The night was topped off with dry churros (the icecream was good) and one of the worst coffees I've ever had, which I couldn't finish. Safe to say my stomach had a rough night.

My son and his friends went there for my sons birthday, they were talking quietly when someone said be quite and they said sure and they laughed, then the guy called the staff over and said that they were disrupting the movies, throwing food and using there phones. I was at the back supervising them, when the staff came they kicked the boys out and didn’t give them a refund the started yelling at the boys aswell. I’m truly disgusted, highly don’t recommend this place and we still haven’t got our refund. . Please spread around.

I always love the Dendy at Coorparoo for friendly service, great prices and comfy theatres. The only improvement ( which has been given to staff) is strip of reflective tape on top of steps inside theatres which can prevent people falling, as the carpet pattern makes it difficult to tell where steps are. I have seen several older people fall and I have almost tripped myself. Either that or a hand rail against the wall. I don’t go to the two cinemas closer to me because I enjoy the Dendy. Thanks so much B

Disappointed and ANGRY! NO CASH allowed at this cinema. AUSTRALIAN LEGAL TENDER is NOT ACCEPTED!!!!!! I had to help an UNSUSPECTING pensioner lady who was carrying cash only to see a movie. Dendy and this no cash attitude is WRONG and UN-Australian!!!! I will NEVER support this business again. All my friends and family are in the same mindset as me and will share this with their friends and NOT support Dendy and their controlling, domineering attitude.

Had never been to a Dendy cinema before but tickets, food and beverages were all very well priced. The cinemas and ticketing/bar area were all modern, clean and accomodating. Staff were friendly and overall it was a fantastic, fun experience. The seats weren’t the most comfortable especially for a long movie, and that’s the only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars. Location was great, no issues with parking, plenty of restaurants and gelato nearby.

So disappointed, we have been loyal patrons since the complex opened. A group of six can’t buy a coffee after a movie in the evening, even at 8pm. Plenty of staff at 8:30, 3 last night standing in the upstairs cafe but it’s closed. This has been the case for months. Looking forward to the opening of nearby theatres soon. We’ve asked hopefully weekly and been disappointed told they are waiting for some good movies to come.

The theatre within the cinemas were on the smaller side however big enough to be comfortable. Plenty of leg room & arm space which is good. Though not gone to the gold class these cinemas do have it. For a night for a couple of hours. The parking lot was full due to the Saturday night diners of the restaurants. Though other parking is available for free. I would highly recommend these cinemas & would definitely go again.

Went to see, where the Crawdads sing. Loved it. Recommend going to see it. I recently went to Dendy Cinema at Coorparoo to see Oppenheimer, with 2 friends. All of us came away from that movie praising it. Fascinating story about a brilliant man. The movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes, but the story was so compelling. By the end of the movie I felt that the ending was satisfying and no loose ends were left. Great movie.

Overall- Disappointing experience. Splurged to have a special afternoon in the premium lounge. The coffee from our order arrived however food didn’t. Ok, mistakes happen but the attitude of staff when asking for a refund on the card the food was purchased on (apparently can’t happen) didn’t seem conciliatory. The couple behind us waiting for service seemed to have also had the issue with food not arriving

Actually now my preferred cinema Excellent space and very good disabled access from car park straight up in the lift to third floor cinema And speaking of parking - get 3 hours free at - just get parking permit at the box office with your ticket purchase Great variety of films and good session times Goodies at the bar/ cafe too

  • Gabriel Palacios

The cinema rooms are incredibly spacious and are always clean. Whilst the ticket prices are rather high, the cost is worth it for such an outstanding experience. Also, the cinema always screens a wide variety of both mainstream and independent films making it, in my view, one of the best cinemas in Brisbane.

We checked time for a movie using Google. When we turned up we found the movie had started an hour earlier. They blamed Google for making a mistake and blamed us for bot looking it up on their website. They don't seem to understand the digital world gas moved on from websites.

  • Michael Abrams

Not much parking. Not much seating if you are early for the show. Expensive even for seniors. Hope the cinema experience is worth the cost and distance we traveled. Toilet facilities not checked often enough to see that they have enough consumerbals. Maybe we picked a bad day

  • Stephen Shepherd

A nice, local cinema with friendly staff and good facilities. Even the 'normal' cinemas have good seats and legroom, but Gold Class is another level. The food is reasonable, but it's nice to have it brought to you during a performance. Remember to get your parking validated.

  • J Matthews

Always the best. Seats are comfy, food and drink menu is stocked, sound and picture is always well calibrated. Staff are really kind and and helpful. Be sure to sign up to their club Dendy pass, it’s cheap and well worth it for all the discounts and $1 tickets.

  • Kelvin Welbourn

Today Abandoned the movie the Creator and got a refund as the sound was muted and could not hear any dialogue. Film looks great but after 15 minutes of them trying to fix it, we decided to go. Previously saw Expendables 4 which was good.

  • reagan searle

Great new movie cinemas. Excellent location. Great sit. Very good cinemas size. Join the Dendy club for $12 tickets. Booking on line is easy as. Good selection of movies with lots of special showings. Also good for kids. Still good

This rating is 100% for Krysti. She was an absolute MVP, iconic queen, who put up with me and my friends last minute chaos ordering, as we were rushing to our movie. Customer service 10/10 and just generally patient and kind vibes.

  • Chris Lee

Incredibly poor customer service. The person who served us clearly couldn't be bothered with us and was uninterested in our needs from the moment we walked up to the counter. I've never felt like more of a burden.

  • Sergei Kireenko

Cinema is good, can't say the same about parking as I had to call and wait to get out - parking machine wasn't working and it's not clear how to apply promised 3 hour free parking for cinema's customers

  • K

Nice, clean & intimate cinema - often showing movies that major cinemas don’t show. However, lady wearing glasses and dress working night time on 11/09/2023 really needs to work on her customer service.

  • Rushmal Senevirathne

Movie experience is not too bad. But size of the seating area is not big as the screen, it makes bit uncomfortable for front rows. Overall this is a good place to watch a movie.

  • Bush Pig

Really sad to see that this cinema has decided to refuse cash. They've lost a customer by doing so. I handed my membership card to the attendant because I'll never be back.

  • Andrew G (AG)

Just picture three red laser pointer dots on the screen for the entirety of the movie, that’s your Dendy experience. Think they might need to service their projectors!

  • Jay Gr

Friendly staff, good cinema. Decent value. The higher number cinemas are quite small, so I recommend movies shown in 1 to 3 but they're all nice and clean.

  • Matthew James Oxlade

Underrated cinema. Big big big popcorn. Big popcorn. Service was good. Validated parking was good. Big popcorn was good. Oh yeah and the drink was big too

  • Bob Longland

Always clean and comfortable. I would like to see an extra hour added to the parking extension to avoid rushing when the movie is a bit longer.

  • Sarah Elle

Staff are friendly & prices are reasonable. Cinema seats are ok, but don’t recline. Good location & parking can be validated for 3hrs free.

  • Adam S

My go-to cinema in Brisbane. Good quality audio and video. Relatively cheap, rarely full, always clean with a good selection of movies.

  • Patrick Evans

While I only went to small screens, I loved the coziness and up close experience. Friendly helpful staff. Awesome value.

  • F Liu

Bathrooms are a mile away… start walking now because you’ll get your 10,000 steps in. Cinemas were large TVs at best.

  • carlos sendrea

I really like this cinema. Good size of seats, always space for parking and nice food when attending to premium

  • Viki Rep

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The movie going experience has always been wonderful at Dendy Coorparoo.

  • Harriet Fleming

The service at Dendy was great! Kyle was particularly great and super helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

  • Priyanka Jayasekera

Very interesting place. You can enjoy yourself freely and fully. Easy access to car park .

  • Tom Burns
