*edit*: I've raised it to 4 and it's to be fair. I think i do a lot to contribute to my dog's health and I appreciate Dr. Labelle's expertise. But as an owner i strongly recommend people to become somewhat medically fluent as it will contribute to the conversation and your pet's care. (You can't simply blindly trust any professional opinion and it's my experience dealing with all sorts of professionals. Not everyone, but there are quite a few out there that should be challenged). All in all, I appreciate this clinic and what they have done to help Ozzy... Dr. Labelle and Dr. "Luc" were amazing with my pup. *** Had an emergency booking for 11:40. Another more severe emergency came in and we lost our booking. I said we were willing to wait. They weren't willing to work later (past noon). Had to go to the emergency instead which cost us more...

My family and I have been taking our pets to this clinic for at least two decades and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. When my last dog, our beloved german shepherd, got sick with cancer, she received treatments at this clinic. They clearly explained to us what would happen every step of the way and treated my dog with lots of compassion, care and kindness, particularly Dr. Robinson. Unfortunately, our canine could not live forever and eventually passed away. When we adopted our next dog, a beagle, we didn't think twice about bringing him to Laurentien-Keller. He loves the vets at this clinic (particularly Dr. Cloutier). They are attentive and are always happy to answer any questions that we may have. They also have lots of availabilities, so it's easy to quickly get an appointment with them.

J'ai choisi cette clinique sur un coup de cœur lorsque j'ai adopté mon 3e chien.Durant des années j'ai fonctionné avec une autre clinique pour mes 2 autres toutous mais je ne me retrouvais plus vraiment chez eux.Bref,je suis tombée sur une dame vétérinaire pour qui j'ai eu "le coup de foudre" ici.Oui professionnelle,attentive et de si bon conseil pour mon frenchy sans m'encourager à faire des traitements peu concluants pour lui(on a tous en tête ces cliniques qui... ).Bref,tous mes 4 pattes ont changé de vétérinaires pour cette clinique. Ah la vétérinaire pour qui j'ai eu le coup de cœur ?Je sais plus elle avait un masque(moi aussi)mais ses collègues sont aussi bons(avec 3 chiens oui je passe 3x plus ).

I have been bringing my dog to another vet for years and they told me she has allergies because she was chewing her paws. She also had recurring ear infection and they would keep giving me the most expensive drops. Fortunately for the last ear infection they said there is no opening till a week from the day I called… So I called this clinic and they were very nice to give me same day appointment. Not only dr Marc was extremely nice but he knew exactly that her paws itchiness and ear infection are related. He tested both of them and I got treatment for fungus. It’s been two weeks and my dog is not chewing her paws and she is much more confortable. Needless to say that I am changing vets.

Mon partenaire et moi avons adopté un chaton qui malheureusement a beaucoup de petit problème de santé tout le temps et le personnel de la clinique ont tous été tellement gentils. La vétérinaire avec qui nous prenons les rendez vous est la Dre Esteffanie Martinez. Elle est incroyable, elle a toujours été à l’écoute, gentilles et douce avec notre chaton. Toutes les dames de l’accueil ainsi que les techniciennes sont adorables. Tout le monde m’a aidé, que ce soit en répondant à mes e-mails pleins de questions ou au téléphone pour me donner des conseils sur quoi faire. Couldn't help but feel that I was being taken advantage of. At one point the vet said she would have to charge me another $75.00 to hold my dog down to administer ear medicine. Another vet came in afterwards and said the $75.00 wouldn't be necessary. Took my dog there for close to 2 years for the same thing, spent ALOT of money there and they couldn't find what was wrong with my dog but kept charging me $250.00 every 2 months or so whenever his symptoms use to come back. Asked the vet " shouldnt you have an idea of what is causing my dog to get sick at this point" her response was "Well the dog cant speak to me". Go anywhere else!!! it cant be worse than this place.

Je frequente les cliniques veterinaires depuis 2006 et celle-ci est de loin la meilleure que j'ai vue! Le docteur Cloutier est une merveille et le docteur Hurtibise est aussi dur a battre! Mes cinq chats en son temoins ;) Je suis aller d'urgence entre autre a la clinique car mon chat de 14 ans avait un grosse bosse de pue sous son oeil droit depuis 24 h et son oeil etait ferme depuis 3 jours.Le diagnostique fut rapide,une canine avait une grave inflamation;donc drainage du pue et anti-biotique pour 2 semaines et l'extraction de la canine ne fut pas necessaire et tout est parfait depuis. Merci au docteur Cloutier et pour ses explications tres pertinentes.

I took my new rescue cat to this clinic and was assigned to Dr. Heather Labelle. It was such a bad experience. This Vet talks extremely loud (almost yelling) and was very abrasive and rough with the animal. The exam was at a bare minimum. And, she barely answered my questions, with a word or two. I got out of there confused and saddened. When picking a vet, I want someone who knows how to gently handle a pet and show compassion for both the pet and the owner. I had to take my cat to another Vet clinic as I was extremely dissatisfied with my initial experience.

Although we were not yet clients, they still took the time to see us as we needed to have our 19 year old cat Zowie euthanized. Dr Labelle examined her before anything was done and reassured us that it was the right thing to do. She and her technician were extremely empathetic, kind, thorough and professional. She took the time to explain the procedure, what to expect, and stayed with us till the end. They managed to make this difficult moment a little easier! I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning.

Been taking my dog here for four years now. All the staff are friendly to both myself and my dog. They might occasionally ask if I want extras (like laser cutting instead of scalpel when he got neutered), but otherwise they're honest and don't overcharge. They have a large number of vets so you might not see the same one every time, but all are very polite and knowledgeable. Overall I've been very happy there and continue to use them. My only complaint is that the grooming service is no longer available.

I started bringing my dog there only this year but I've had nothing but amazing experiences with them!! The doctors are nice and friendly, the staff is incredible and the prices are more than reasonable. My dog actually looks forward to going to the vet and will willingly follow them to the end of the world I think. He also gets more than his share of love every time we get there to the point where I'm pretty sure I could leave him there for hours and he wouldn't mind for a single second.

I usually deal with the Saint-Joseph-Du-Lac clinic, but this time, I had to go to VSL to pick up my dog after his surgery. The place is clean, the staff listens and answers your questions. I had to call them up the same night and they immediately replied after I left a message. Yes, I do recommend this clinic. It has always been my experience they are ready to help you during very stressful times and I know that my friends are always in good hands.

The worst place and It’s very true what they say the boss loves money more than animals I remember calling for an appointment and I asked about the price It was actually expensive but I still kept my appointment then 2 weeks later she called to confirm it I asked again about the price she told me a different price. They make up the prices all the time. They gave me an appointment when It was closed, It’s not professional and not reliable.

Absolutely the best and most caring staff you could ever ask for! I appreciate the care and compassion that Dr.Cloutier shows and she takes the time to answer any and all questions I have. She is the Vet that goes above and beyond for pets and pet owners. Every staff member here is super nice and courteous. There are several veterinarians in this practice, all very capable and kind. My very favourite is Dr. Renee Cloutier - she is a no-nonsense vet, very experienced and trustworthy. My other favourite is Dr. Heather Labelle. She explains everything in detail and is warm and engaging while at the same time being very professional. Since I moved from St-Laurent in 2020, I've changed vets, but I'm not nearly as happy with the new team.

Dr. Belair is excellent however I must agree with some other reviews that Dr. Labelle talks extremely loud. I have dealt with her as well and had to ask her to lower her voice when I went there with my rescue. It is important to choose a vet that shows compassion and is not only gentle but thorough in examinations. That said, I think Dr. Belair is one of the best vets out there and will be dealing with him going forward.

Dr Hurtubise a été le vétérinaire de plusieurs de mes chiens dans le passé. J' ai toujours été plus que satisfaite de ses services. 12 ans plus tard, j'ai retrouvé Dr Hurtubise avec grand plaisir. Il est toujours aussi dévoué et passionné par son métier de vétérinaire. Je sais que mon chien, Lucus, est entre bonnes mains avec lui. Vous trouverez un service très professionnel à cette clinique.

Employés courtois. *petit bémol ... j'attendais depuis un peu plus d'une semaine et il y avait un sac de nourriture dans le backstore; alors, est-ce que l'employée qui m'a répondu au téléphone ne s'est pas donné la peine d'aller voir ? Je vais à cette clinique vétérinaire depuis plusieurs années et le service a toujours été très bon. Mais aujourd’hui j’ai été traitée de façon très impolie et irrespectueuse par la réceptionniste qui s’appelle Rose. Elle est arrogante et manque de tact et de professionnalisme. Je n’ai jamais été reçue de cette façon, c’est vraiment inacceptable lorsqu’on travaille avec des clients.

Couldn't diagnose a simple hookworm infestation that ended up killing my dog. Spent over $1500 on useless tests and numerous trips to this vet with not a clue what was wrong with my dog. I ended up finding out she had worms through a 5 minute phone call to my uncle and at this point it was too late. Candy was a extremely healthy 7 year old boxer with years ahead of her.

So Mr Troy Montreal, is an obvious P.O.S. someone to leave a negative review and have no real backing, Sounds like she rejected your advances. The best staff I've met at a vet. Very kind, informative and understanding. The vet she was so knowledgeable and knows how to safely and kindly handle dogs. My dog tends to be nervous, but barely gave any trouble because of how the vet handled her. I am definitely bringing my dog back here. Also the vaccines wasn't as overpriced as I've had to pay in other clinics.

Great place to bring your furry loved one. They are our veterinarian clinic fir our Westie and they have been taking good care of him. His last visit was his neutering operation and all I can say is he didn’t even realize he was operated on and the cone of shame was not even required. I adopted a kitten from the SPCA and brought her here for her follow-ups. The vets and all the staff are great. She was spayed at the SPCA and the little bugger decided to pull her stiches out 5 days after the operation. They took me last minute, between other patients and took great care of my baby. I would recommend them for sure.

The vet was so gentle and friendly with our puppy! She took the time to explain everything that she was doing, despite our many questions! Also has a decent sized boutique where you can buy toys, food, etc. Friendly staff, inviting environment and all around honest people.
