This cemetery has by far the worst staff and service imaginable. Besides lying to families of the departed they engage in unethical practices. Let me be specific since they have pulled the same stunt twice now with both family friend and a family member. The cemetery provides their own grave stones or plaques at a premium price. When you make a stone elsewhere for a more reasonable fee they are notorious for not installing the stone even if paying the administration fee required. This is a monopoly of sorts. You can’t restrict a family from making their own stone to place on the grave of the departed even when abiding by the standards. (They also claimed in the early years that no vertical stones were allowed yet they have an entire section composed of vertical stones). As I write this review in October my family member still doesn’t have the plaque that was delivered in september to be installed due to the management’s stubbornness. The sales staff are also rude and even frustrated a friend so much (because of them going back and forth on their word) that he was forced to record their conversations when he met with them. In my family’s situation the staff was so rude that they made the daughter cry in the office. Both have the exact same plaque. One they allowed and the other they are refusing to install. Here is a situation in which they lie right to your face. My family wanted a photo on the plaque just like others in the section. The photo is made of steel because porcelain tends to break. The reason they won’t install it is because they are claiming that the steel is porcelain (which it is not). I would recommend hiring staff that knows the difference between steel and stone. I can go on. But until I visit the cemetery and see my grandfathers plaque installed before November 15 I will keep this bad review up. It is sad that in the time of loss this cemetery takes advantage of people. They should be ashamed of themselves. I urge others with stories to post their experience here so people know the truth about this cemetery’s business practices.
Beautiful grounds and the staff is so kind and friendly. We met with Cody, who had recently joined their team. He was so patient with us and our any questions as my husband and I began pre-planning our end of life arrangements. We never felt pressured or rushed to complete things by a certain time. Even when we changed our mind about a few things we were reassured that their job was to help us get exactly what we wanted. It is very rare to see such compassion and patience in such a young man. As we decided to purchase a specific tree to be dedicated to us on beside a pond Cody has sent us pictures of when the tree was planted, when the fountain was installed in the pond and when our dedication stone was placed under the tree. He has in our opinion gone over and above his obligation to us. Also the staff that assisted him when he was unsure of how certain things, willingly gave their knowledge and time to assist Cody with our wishes. We would( and have) recommend Chapel Hill Gardens to anyone for their final resting place and/ or pre-planning and cremation needs. Thanks guys, you rock!. Ron&Judy McLaughlin
Jill Buckland and the staff at Chapel Hill Memorial were extremely helpful following the sudden death of my father. When we met with Jill, she was so understanding, knowledgeable and professional. She took time to explain the process to us, what options we had and even helped us create a beautiful headstone. In addition, the grounds are well kept and clean, truly an exceptional place!
The grounds of Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens are beautiful and feel very peaceful when you are there. Staff were welcoming and Vince, who we worked with, was amazing with helping us purchase a plot and working out all the details quickly and easily. Great communication, professionalism and compassion.
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens is an exceptional place. The grounds are beautiful and when it came time to plan the burial for my father - everything was perfect. The staff and Krystal (Pre Planning Director) took such good care of my family and made the whole process very easy.
Very peaceful and quiet location. Lovely with the birds swimming around. Sections were labeled well. We came and the office was just closed. But we ended up finding the plot, thankfully. Went today to visit an old friend lost to early …
