Let me say up front I like Bunnings. I picked up most of what i wanted today. Mid sized store. Nursery one end. Trade at the other end. When I was here, there was a dual-gazebo serving sausages! Winner, winner. However, I'm seeing some cracks in this store. It could be Covid-19 related, China stocks, Christmas shopping (late Dec 2021) - or even staff shortages, but there is a problem. I had a question to ask staff. They were busy re-stocking shelves. This is the same pattern I saw at the Oakleigh store. So many team members are busy restocking, it is hard to find someone to help. This might be something Head Office can address before you start losing customers. Invest in your team. Please be proactive. I got most of what I went there for. Not all. I purchased the remaining items elsewhere. Sausage sizzle was a hit though. I hope you find your rhythm in 2022

Five-star service at Bunnings Nunawading I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Stevie at Bunnings Nunawading, and I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience. From the moment we approached Stevie, he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand our needs (two toilets and installation) and recommend the best products for our project. He was also able to answer all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. Stevie went above and beyond to help us, and we were very impressed with his customer service skills. He is a true asset to Bunnings, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for assistance at the store. Thank you, Stevie, for your excellent service!

Bunnings staff used to be so helpful, unfortunately, not in this instance. I needed some pvc pipe for a project. They only come in 3m lengths for what I'm after. I asked if it could be cut in half which would have been perfect and fit in my vehicle. They've done that for me before. Now they say they can't. The guy said it's due to "safety reasons" and my only option was to buy it and cut it myself outside the building, which seems way more cumbersome and dangerous. I've had such good help in the past with expert staff solving problems. It's been years since I've seen this kind of service. This is a typical example of corporate laziness where the customer comes last.

SHREDDEB PETROL- ASFORT 196CC ENGINE BIO 2027 This value $1329 I assembled the machine, used it once and felt that there was something wrong with it, and then I took it back to the store. The first time I returned it, they told me to take it for repair, and the second time it broke down, the repairman suggested that I return it. I went back to bunnings to ask for a refund. The manager contacted the manufacturer and the boss and both opposed giving me a refund. There is no refund for anything over $500 in their store. Be careful when shopping here.

Over charged me $136 from one of their automatic service machine, many phone calls and store visits. Still no resolved, I had to escalated the matter to my credit card team to let them know they have over charged me. Worst Customer Services with no Result. Always double check their automatic check out, even though it may not show up in their system, or appear as unsuccessful transaction in their end. Double check with your bank statement, and make sure they don't double charge you.

Drove down to pick up a particular item. None were on the shelf, so I asked a member of staff for help. He advised that they do have them out the back, but he can't go get it because the store was being audited. I asked when the item will be on the shelf, which his response was today. I didnt want to wait around for an undetermined amount of time and with no alternatives or options offered, I drove down the road to another retailer and purchased the same item at a lower price.

Bunnings is actually ridiculous when it comes to taking their left over boxes. They’re so adamant on not allowing this, especially paying customers. They have an entire section of left over boxes which they just throw away at the end of the day but still won’t allow people to take any. Of course they encourage customers to buy their boxes that they sell as their only motive it to make money, but won’t help out a local out of generosity. Completely greedy and selfish.

Great Place for home improvement needs. There are lots of variety to choose from and with varying quality too. So you will have to choose which option suit you best. You can get sausage sizzle as part of community fund raiser, usually operating on the weekend only for schools, and charity organisations. You will always find something else that you do not need now, but thinking you will need it in the future

I just asked one of staff a question about screws. He was so aggressive and responded " You don't know what you are talking abou" He could have simply said I can't help you with this... The same staff was helping another customer with proper manner. The only difference was that he hasd an Aussie accent and I didn't. Bunnings is losing their culture for sure...

Got everything I wanted. Also, while checking out, I asked one of the staff if they had bags for my plants, as I was taking public transport, so I needed an easy way to carry them. They’d run out of bags, and could have left it at that, but went to the trouble of helping me find a box to put my plants in. Was a great help and I really appreciate it.

The absolute hunk of a man who was working at the paint desk a few weeks back, -Zach perhaps? His spectacular customer service has me truly speechless. As a senior woman myself it’s so fantastic to see such talent… and HANDSOME talent being displayed by a young gentleman. I strongly urge you to hire more people as such. Kind regards.

The store itself is good. However, one of the staff at the painting section is really rude. Feel like someone owing his money and he doesn’t even care about talking to customer. Meh. If you know what you are looking for, go for it. If not, change another store. I’ve been to four other stores, staff are nice.

Great service from the two ‘mature’ guys from tool shop! The young guys from the paint shop and the rest of the stores should learn from them what is manners, respect and at least to smiles staff have no manners, lack of knowledge and complains a lot. Feels like I owe them. …

It's friendly , it's got good offers and sausage are friday, Saturday, Sunday Have good variety of product and services industry and commercial , residential, all of usage and applications support in every Bunnings but Nunawading have more chance to find special things on stock

The store is good and the staff helpful. It’s the behaviour of aggressive drivers in the car park that spoil it. It’s a lower socioeconomic area where there’s also a lot of attitudes of entitlement and ignorance. I try to avoid going anywhere out that way for this reason.

Staff were really helpful when I returned something I'd purchased on click on collect. Nothing wrong with the product but my Mum had died so we hadn't needed it after all, which was something other businesses had told us was "not within their returns policy".

Good largish! sized hardware store with large range of products and a decent garden area with big range of plants and lots of general garden supplies / tiles / lattices / composts etc and more etc. My goto hardware store; followed by Ringwood store.

This store is huge, well stocked and busy. The Trade area is equally large. The Public toilets were all out of order, everyone was being referred to the one, single Trade toilet, which was a mess. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

This is the best Bunnings timber yard around. I got everything for my retaining wall in a few minutes. All the timber and other building materials are laid out in an easy to access, drive-through section It's worth checking out.

A huge store offering great choice in all aspects of hardware, plumbing, electrical, nursery, timber, paint, garden and dozens of other departments. Your one stop shop for all in hardware and the biggest and best in my opinion.

My favourite Bunnings. Very spacious and well organised with the experienced staff always there for me to help with my inquiries and provide technical advice when needed. Highly recommended store with plenty of parking lots.

Inconsistent and terrible customer service across stores for cutting a piece of timber bought. Visited 3 stores and got a final answer of not being able to cut in a very rude and unexplained manner.

Staff here are really nice and so helpful. The tool shop staff know what they are talking about, helped me find the right size staples. Kids love the playground.

Don’t like the car park much but it has always had what I’ve wanted. The delivery service is excellent and very cheap. Highly recommend the delivery service.

Never has any supaceil plaster is stock ( ceiling sheets) and staff get real grumpy when asked if there is anysheets elsewhere, in the warehouse.
