I wanted to like this place. They got a nice variety of food and pastry. But I like croissants and this is not the place for them. Last almonds croissant i tried were really not good. The filling was not fresh. Their cakes is ok but they dont make the royal like premiere moisson. Overall it is ok if you not too fancy.

Great place. Polished. Large selection of pastries and bread (well executed and presented, prepared foods, and imported European dry goods. A few tables are set up outside when the weather allows. The staff is pleasant and helpful. And more than enough parking. And a short walk to a picnic able park beside the river.

Things have changed. I used to enjoy this place. Maybe I just picked a wrong day. The croissant filled with creme fraiche tasted very stale. I got a cupcake and it wasn't the best. Got a fruit tart and it felt too dry. Maybe it was an off day but they usually have amazing pastries

Very inviting place to go… fine grocery, take out or eat there. The bakery is outstanding, fresh foods, etc… got Florentine Cookies, Mille-feuilles, croissants, chocolatines and fresh daily breads. Clean place, friendly service. Small place outside to eat as well as inside.

French themed pastry shop offering great variety of products and wonderful bread. Also serves breakfast and lunch options (sandwiches, slab pizza... Etc.). Service can come with some attitude however this is pardoned (and almost expected) from our French compatriots.

Best croissants nd baguette I've tasted in Montreal. Isabelle and her husband brought their craft from France. Although I dont have a sweet tooth, I have heard rave reviews of the cakes, pies, tarts and pastries. A little hidden jewel tucked away in Ile Bizard

  • Rosemary Capparelli

Went for the first time. Not impressed. Their zeppoli and cannolis ricotta cream tasted like mae west. I don’t know what they use as a filler but it definitely wasn’t ricotta. We all got sick after eating the pastries Definitely won’t go back

  • carlo d'avanzo

the staff and the pastry chef were exceptional and impeccable in making the customer understand their tastes and flavors in choosing what was right for us in a short time. I sincerely thank this family who carries on Italian art and pastry,

ABSOLUTELY blown away with the service and the quality of the food. I used them for planning and preparing a menu for my first real party in 2 years and they did NOT disappoint. From the first minute I spoke with Nelly on the phone, she was

I agree with most recent reviews, this place use to be a high quality patisserie , new owners have introduced a lot of new offerings that are not up to par with the previous items. The quality of the sweets and the breads are not comparable

  • marco240361

Unfortunately the new owners are going in the wrong direction. Île bizard is not rdp or saint-Leo. The previous owners built a reputation with quality. I have been going for 25 years. They used real butter for their croissants, chocolatine

  • M Polo

Used to be French owned and operated in the pure tradition of French bakery: extremely wide selection of fresh breads, pastries, cold pizza (French type), cold cut /cheese and pittoresque owners. New Italian ownership have been very quick

  • Tania Scardellato

I am revising my 5 star review to 3 stars, with the old owner the bread , and pastries where top notch, Unfortunately , with the new owners it is definitely not the same, the bread is not airy, the crust is hard , the pastries are too

  • Bonny

I love coming here for bread and croissants. Until recently, I’d say they were the best croissants I’d had, anywhere I’ve travelled to in the world, Without exaggeration. But the last few weeks, I’ve noticed a change- many items seem

Amazing service, they really helped us out for everything we wanted for this 102nd birthday party! The cake looked gorgeous and everyone loved it! It tasted so fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. Absolutely recommend to

  • David D'Orsa

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday, and Pastry Chef Amanda created a cake that surpassed all expectations. The cake was not only visually stunning, perfectly reflecting the occasion, but the taste was truly exceptional.

  • nbond100

An excellent place for the real thing French patisserie. There butterfly pastry is made with real butter and one of the best in town. They are not cheap though, but its authentic fair. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Not the same after Isabelle and family retired. The new owners offer lots of choices of pastries and pre-made meals, but they don't taste like they were made on premise. Missing the freshness and personal touch!

  • Giulio Rizzo

Great selection of food at this Italian bakery. There is an abundance of prepared meals, classic snacks, hot and cold beverages, loads of bread varieties and square pizza with different delicious toppings.

  • Jean Bertrand

They made a beautiful cake for my niece's baby gender reveal last weekend. It was absolutely stunning to look at and even better, the cake was light, delicious and super fresh. We were all very impressed.

  • Manny Mancini

Finally a good bakery, now the pizza, deli, meals and many other choices are great including the bread and pastries. Before it was only the bread and pastries, pizza was awful. Keep up the good things.

  • harvey zuckerman

Great little place that specializes in desserts and breads, but I go mainly for their sandwiches. They make them fresh with a real french baguette, ham or turkey with cheese, and a few fresh veggies.

I was in their place this week, and I can't believe how much this bakery goes out of their way to compete with other local businesses, even trashing others. What an awful way to run a business!!

  • Stella Georgiou Lapointe

Thank you for being so understanding and careful given my daughter’s allergies; She was able to have her first real croissant ever thanks to you guys! Will be going back soon. Merci!!!

  • Zana Ch

Placed an order for a cannoli cake and everyone loved it! Not too much filling, the cake was moist and the small size fed about 16 people. Great service and friendly staff also.

  • Michel Brassard Lahey

Great and well priced food, consistently. You will not be disappointed! The staff are great and friendly and definitely deserve your business. Highly recommended.

  • Dawn Smith

Great baked goods and more. Tables for quick lunch or coffee. Always smells so good. The owners have been part of the community for at least 20 years.

  • Rossana Vitali

Had the Ile Bizard cake which was to die for and a big hit with everyone along with the delicious pastries and pizza. New owners! A must try .

  • Graeme Salmon

Just went in for coffee - pretty good. I wasn't expexting the giant sexy cartoon teacher sticker in the bathroom. She was nice though.

  • Laura Iuhas

Their pastries and baguettes taste good, but if you go in the morning and expect fresh and warm baked goods you will be disappointed.

  • Claudia

First time here and appreciated your service with a friendly attitude. The breads we bought were very good. We'll be back for sure.

  • Matthew Stewart

The cake is beautiful, but not delicious. When you pay more than 40 $ for the cake the taste should not be same as Costco cake !!!

  • Mark Maceluch

Wonderful fresh square pizza I've had with a healthy amount of sauce. So far best in area. They are also great bakers …

  • Suryaveer Chauhan

I've only had almond croissants here, and I really love them. I've brought some for anyone I meet, and they love them too.

  • Bruno Habasque

Nice place, lots of Products from France (cookies, jam, canned goods) on sale. They offer lunch options beside pastries.

  • Anthony Louis

The quality of this place has really gone down since the owners have changed. I'd have to say it's a very ok place now.

  • jımmy owen

Opening cheap cream boxes and mixing them doesn't make a cake... I payed 40$ to …

  • Becky Donohue

Always fast and friendly service. You really can't go wrong here, but the Nutella croissant is seriously on point!

  • Lamis Kebbewar

You can’t get better cakes than this place… i am in love it’s my favourite place …
