"Have a bash around the bush at Bank street this has been a awsome place to ride bikes and go for walks"
An absolutely stunning area. This unique bush land hideaway in the heart of Brisbane, has great facilities, accommodating for walkers and cyclists. The small network of walking/riding trails provide many with a great experience, including myself. I have been mountain biking in this area for 2-3 years and this reserve truly has made my mountain biking experience better in all aspects.
Great little bush walk close to the city.
Playground
There are a couple of different playgrounds around there.
Dog-friendliness
A off the lead dog field but through the bush they need to be on lead to protect the wild life.
Picnic area
A nice big field for a picnic.
The reserve has a concrete bike track on one side of a massive grassed oval. There are also a number of native wooded walking tracks. It has been modernised of late with rejuvenation areas, information panels highlighting the flora and fauna and history of the reserve.
This entire reserve has been turned into a dog of leash park. You will find hundreds of dog owners every day illegally with dogs of leash running wild through the bush land thats supposed to be for the Koalas Possums and other wildlife. So so disappointing to see.
Have a bash around the bush at Bank street this has been a awsome place to ride bikes and go for walks. there is a nice big oval to let the dogs go crazy, some fire road for walking and riding and some waking tracks. also easy access to a bbq and playground.
Lovely piece of bushland to go for a walk or a bike in. It is quite steep in many parts however so go prepared for a serious cycle. Breakfast Creek runs alongside the reserve and has a long network of cycle and walkways into and out of the city. Enjoy!
The reserve is great. It has a variety of different terrains, from flat to mountainous. There are grassy areas, forestry, creeks and bike paths. Follow the bike paths to find children’s play equipment. A great place to walk the dogs or go for a walk.
Love this reserve - it feels like you’re in the bush even though you’re in the middle of suburbia close to the city. Some great walking and mountain bike riding tracks. Flat at the back with a nice open grass area and gets very steep toward Banks St.
Good tracks and shady paths through the bush in the middle of suburbia. Only wish it was bigger. Fields in the middle for any sort of family or group outing. Its great that such a green space can exist in the middle of a major city.
Great area to go for a walking in especially with pets. There is a massive oval area to run around it or let your dog off leash. Mossies do come out at sundown so make sure you bring some repellant or are out by then.
Saw a wallaby by the creek this morning. First time in many visits. Please keep dogs on leash! Many don't and they need to be made aware by signage that hefty fines apply for walking an unleashed dog in the reserve.
Who would have thought 80acres of bird reserve, parklands ,creeks, koalas, wallabies, water dragons & many more wildlife would exist 8klms from the city A very special place to have a picnic
Great reserve so close to town. On leash dog friendly Follow the trail down the very back and go past the open field to find a little creek perfect for a dog to have a little cool down.
Great place for a long peaceful walk. Large diversity of native vegetation. Creek with clear running water an added feature. Needs a little weeding in places.
I swear to sweet jesus, if someone tells me i cant let by dog play fetch, bro go home #speakingfromtheheartbfletcher Dogs are cooler than grumpy bums
Surprisingly large bush reserve very close to the city. Access available off Breakfast Creek shared pathway either from Seils or Quandong Parks.
Peaceful and pleasant. Some uneven terrain but nothing most kids and adults can't handle. Lots of alternatives trail-wise.
A gem in the middle of Brisbane. Not well know, nothing fancy. Just lovely bushland. Koalas have been seen here (really!!)
Don't go here ;) It's just awful. No serenity found at all.
Dog-friendliness
Nice little community of good doggos.
Awesome to have within sight of the CBD. Walked mostly around it but there are lots of tracks to explore. Will return.
Great walking area lots of trees and walking tracks and for exercise in the nature very nice to take dogs for walk.
Great for mountain biking or just going for a walk. The mountain bike trails have just been refurbished and named.
What an amazing bushland and so close to the city. A great place for a bush walk and access from the bike track.
It's okay. Nothing like a rainforest but better than nothing! Say hi if you catch me on a green e-bike...
This is a very beautiful parkland with lots of walking trails and grassy areas. Our dog had a great time too!
We are so lucky to have such a well kept bush space so close to the city. Amazing bird life. Even koalas!
a nice place for a hilly bushwalk. looking forward to an encounter with koalas, but not yet... pity!
Lovely, green island in suburbia. Was once Three Mile Scrub. Some specy trees along the creek!
Pleasant walk in the midst of suburbia, but signage is poor and we couldn't find any toilets.
Nice bush setting close to the city. Numerous trails and challenges over varying topography
Plenty of nice eucalypts twees but neighbor humans are noisy and sometimes there are dogs.
It is an amazing and well looked after reserve. Definitely a good place for morning walks.
Peaceful natural reserve in the heart of suburbia. Nice escape and big enough to unwind
A wonderful reserve for a city trail walk with the pup. One of our favourite walks
Good walking paths and mountain bike track - not very long. No facilities on site.
Almost died on Sunday, there are snakes and they do chase you so have fun
Beautiful area to have a picnic and lots of birds to watch …
Always love to walk my dog there. Such a nice place near the city
Lovely walking tracks, significant trees have descriptive signs.
Local reserve. Great short walks and ovals for dogs to play
Quiet bushland with a variety of walking tracks available
Great local bush park. No toilets though.
Great place for the SES to have training
Great place to get away from it all
Great urban area to walk
Gorgeous walking tracks
