We went there for team lunch. The waitress started to take order from us - myself and 2 other colleagues thought everybody is taking appetizers so we ordered appetizers + main dish. However, it turned out only the 3 of us, out of the 20 people, ordered appetizers, and the waitress didn't think of coming back to remind us of this. To make things worse, somehow the kitchen decided to service everybody's food first, and the 3 of us was sitting there watching the rest of the team to eat for about 10 minutes and got the whole team's attention that we are waiting for food. We were already quite embarrassed for a company paid lunch we were the only ones that ordered more food than others, thanks to the help of the restaurant, they put us in the spotlight that the 3 of us had our fancy 2 courses lunch while everyone else was having 1 dish only. The pasta we ordered was very blend and the fried calamari was over cooked. We had a lot of fun with the presence of the teammates but I will not go back to this restaurant on my own due to the unprofessional service and mediocre food.

We were a table of 4. For my partner and I, it was our first time. We all shared a couple of appetizers, the Arancini de Casa and the Polpetta. The meatballs were very tender and tasty. We had wanted to try the Patatine al Tartufo but unfortunately it was unavailable. I took the Tutto Verde pizza. Yum! The dough was soft and chewy with a hint of sweetness, paired very well with my veggie toppings. My fellow diners also ate pizzas: the Tre Maiale, the Italiana and the All Dressed. Everyone enjoyed them. I was very impressed that the owner came by to see how we were doing. We will definitely be back again.

Can be hit or miss. This review is an average of the two visits I made to the restaurant. First time I visited I ordered the pasta carbonara and next time I ordered an all dressed pizza. I ordered the meatball appetizers which were great - well seasoned, juicy, big portions. Coming to the pasta and pizza - The pasta was a bit eggy and bland, mediocre. The pizza was a bit better, kind of gave me a frozen pizza flavor which was uncanny but I didn't mind much. I added chicken to my pizza which made it a lot better. I enjoyed the pizza more than the pasta. Both times I had to take home leftovers. So there is some value for what you're paying.

Ever since this restaurant changed ownership it has gone downhill. Service is poor. They service the main meal at the same time as the appetizers.Food quality is poor at best and prices are too high for the quality they serve and value is non existent. In 2 years this restaurant will be closed.

Not usually in this area, decided to eat in and had asked the server if they had any daily special and was told they had fried calamari that was not on the menu absolutely awful, do not order, a waste of $20, picture showing it was all batter, no calamari, gross and overcooked batter, yuck!!

The portions are very generous and the food overall was very good. For the pizza, their crust was soggy compared to the one we had at Bacaro Rockland. Their pastas was very delicious and so were their salad. The best was however their doughnuts. They were so light and fluffy and fresh off the fryer. We spent en enjoyable Friday night in family

This is the second Bacaro we tried and the food/service was ok but definitely not 5 stars. The first one we tried in the Rockland mall food court was much better.
