Here you can find a large variety of rocks and driftwood and, if you have time, you can even see what your aquarium would look like thanks to the little sand box they owner placed for this purpose. Both for the beginners and average hobbyists. So when you go there, you have to take your time browsing. Move too quickly and you will miss what you might need! Service: The owner is very helpful! He took the time to demo the decorations for our nano aquarium. And even advised us against buying more that what is necessary! Selection: His selection of shrimps is very beautiful! And he recommended us certain shrimps species that breed together for good color. And others that should remain alone. Again, he help us spend better, not spend more. Small, tight-knit shop for aquaphiles right outside of Lionel groulx metro. The owner is passionate, kind, friendly, and honest. He gives great advice and is knowledgeable to create the aquascape of your dreams and the conditions that your fish will thrive in. The store has many items that are useful for your aquarium at a great price. While they don't have much selection of fish, they mostly have amano shrimp, red and yellow cherry shrimps, crystal red shrimp, blue bolts, guppies and some tetras. The plants here are affordable and his recommendations are very thought out for your scape. There's more selection of substrates, equipment, diffusers, shrimp hides, plant supplements etc. in the shop rather than fish. There's also a selection of driftwood, dragon stone, magma stone, seriyu stone for your aquarium. They mostly sell nano tanks if you're interested in making a palundarium or having a small setup. If interested in specific parts or pieces for your aquirium the owner is more than happy to order them for you! Definitely will come back again soon to get more equipment for my aquarium!!

I have been coming to Aqua Plus since I moved back to Montreal a few years ago. The owner is a true gentleman, always going above and beyond to make sure his clients are satisfied with both his services and products. A great line of aquascaping tools and supplies to help those new to the hobby and even experienced veterans! I have been fortunate enough to get to know the owner well and proudly call him a friend! He has helped me put together 3 tanks, you can see that he truly cares about his store and clients. He will always be honest with you and never try to push any unnecessary products on you, if I could give this store a 10/10 I would do it without hesitating!

This place is a real gem. Not only are the prices competitive, but the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I've been to this location a number of times, and having no prior experience with aquariums, was very grateful for how much thoughtful advice was given to me. The owner really does care about his customers. The shop itself is small but well organised, and the display tanks are beautiful. Definitely give this place a visit if you want quality service and products, and want to support small local sellers!

Super nice owner! He stayed after closing just to show us tricks, how to set up, aquascaping ideas, what substrates to use and planting recommendations for the scape. His shop has a wide variety of hard to get shrimp food from Germany and Japan that can't be found elsewhere in Montreal. He personally feeds his shrimp those products before recommending them to the customer. Overall, great shop and honest, sincere and knowledgeable owner.

came here with my daughter last week end and was amazed by the quality of the store and service the owner is very knowledgeable, even if it is small and does not stock as much as bigger store the quality of the plants and advice about aqua scaping are beyond any other store in Montreal. its not a fish store its really an aqua scaping store and a really great one at that. loved it i will be back for sure. keep up the good work !!

I love this store! I was visiting Montreal from the US and just intended to browse. I wound up spending $200 on hardscape and gear that's really hard to find in the States. Beautiful scapes, most caridinas I’ve even seen in more space! They have a great selection of big brand aquarium supplies (hydor, aqua-clear, fluval) as well as imported supplies you can rarely find in canada. On top of that, they are very knowledgeable and nice!
