I have been in the store on two occasions and both times, . The staff were less than pleasant . Several weeks ago I called the store to ask them if they had oxtail in stock (i was purchasing a larger than normal quantity) and how much it was per pound. The man that answered the phone refused to tell me the price per pound telling me it was confidential information and that they don’t share prices over the phone??!! just crazy ..Perhaps they need to learn a little bit about customer service because I took my business elsewhere and will not return to this store.

The employees in this store are very rude. They talk very badly to customers. they have no concept of customer service. I was there last week and wanted to buy some smoked turkey. The man in charge of this session was right next door chatting. I approached him to beckon him to come serve me. He asks me if I don't see the ring the bell. Yesterday I went back with my husband just before closing time and a little girl pushed us away like we were animals. I think that the owner should teach the concepts of hospitality to his employees.

I like shopping here they have a lot of stuff, but the staff does not greet people. I have been here multiple times and they never greet you. It's weird, they will help you when you ask for help but it's not a warm welcome. That's just my experience. Besides that every thing else is great. That's why I gave them a 4/5 stars. I love supporting black businesses but customer services needs to be better.

I love this store. I first found this store about 3 years ago. I think when they first opened and was super friendly. My daughter started working there and have to say they treat her like family. Knowing that all packaged foods are checked weekly for expired product. Fresh bread weekly and if they don't have something they will get it for you..Great work .. .

I have been to this store several times and to be specific august 11th,2021 around 6.30 pm,the boy who was in the store has no customer service skills he was on his phone while i waited for 10 minutes to be cashed out until when i asked him if there is anyone working in the store to help me.He continued to talk on the phone while cashing me out .

This is an amazing store!.. WIDE SELECTION of African produce.. grocery and all... Nigerian grocery supply.. beauty products and all. MOST of all.. the price here is sooo great... highly affordable. ALWAYS receive such warm customer service at every visit!.. Don't sleep on this store guys!!!

Lots of products for we afro-Caribbean people one can also find smoked meet ground provisions and vegetables very clean environment parking is no problem, and if you don't have a car you can always take the bus or if you have a bike you can also bike to this location.

Not sure how they have 4.3 stars. The staff is very rude, unwelcoming and dont care. They serve you while on the phone or chewing gum. They paint a very bad picture of African business community. Google, can I give them less than zero star.

The staff is absolutely horrible and extremely rude. I mean EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Google doesn’t allow me to give zero stars else I would. I live 2 minutes from this shop but I actually decided to just start driving downtown. Terrible!

They have everything I need for African cooking. The reason why a fifth star is missing is because their chicken sizes are so small, barely any flesh on the chicken. If that changes, they'll get my complete 5 stars!

Afrocan is the one-stop shop for African groceries. The groceries here are fresh and quite affordable. I go here when I need Nigerian food staples like egusi, stock fish, smoked turkey, ponmo, amongst others.

Customer service is horrible , such a rude experience. I’ll drive all the way to Mississauga now, I’ll support businesses who know the meaning of customer service and wanting customers to come back smh .

Great staff. Fresh produce at reasonable prices. Saves me time and money from driving around looking for a tropical foods. Will recommend to friends and family.

This is a good west Indian store (!as a Jamaican) I was able to purchase some good Jamaican food. I would encourage them to carry more Jamaican brands

They open at 9am on Saturday and it’s currently 9:30 and late for opening. Waste of time! People have things to do and it’s not the first time.

Store had all the stuff I needed from my native country Nigeria. Staff are courteous and friendly. Store is neat and well arranged.

Convenience of Afro food items... since items are imported can be a bit pricey compared to local grocery stores
