I am extremely grateful to live in a country where healthcare is so easily accessible. That said, this Pharmacy is really awful compared to its competitiors. It was amazing a year ago until new management came in. I have faced some of the most rude and baltently discriminatory customer service ever. As a 24 year old woman this pharmacy still calls my mom about my medication despite having my contact because I am on ODSP, as part of some mental health treatment. They automatically assume I am a dependant despite being completely autonomous. They've also rolled their eyes at me and scoffed at me countless times when I have only ever been polite in pointing out what I need. Ive never called names, raised my voice, or used inflammatory body language. One woman was insistent I didnt know my own insurance information and legal name. They have filled prescriptions up wrong, only giving me half the necessary doses. They have claimed I never called in prescriptions I did call in. And for some reason, they swapped one of my moms medications to my name despite it having her name on it, and refused to give it to her today. Additionally, my grandfather has had issues getting his medications as well. These are all extremely dangerous mistakes to be making with peoples medications. The very products that keep them healthy. They shouldnt have the issues of normal service workers as they are medical professionals. Theyre dealing with peoples lives and embarassing personal information. There is a higher expectation of patience and professionalism that isnt being met. They need to fire one new staff member in particular who is extremely rude and bad at their job. Everyone who's been there knows who I am speaking of. Though the work culture in general is rude there. If you have an option, I'd avoid this pharmacy. Blessed as we are for having access to medical care like we do, we should not be shamed, belitted, and mistreated for using it.

Absolutely abhorrent behaviour by the pharmacy staff. Hands down some of the most rude, entitled, contradictory and downright dishonest people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have been a customer here for a few years now and the service has gone from bad to absolutely terrible. Numerous times I have called to have meds refilled, or went through my doctor for provision said scripts. Over four times now my medications have not been filled on time, filled correctly and I’ve been overcharged for the dispensing fees related to my medications. Not only have they not been filled on time, I’ve called to have said mistake corrected and STILL was not able to pick up my medications for 48 hours as they were “out of stock”. At that point, patients need to be made aware of immediate changes and handle any risks that arise from being without medication. Do yourself a favour and keep yourself and your family FAR away from this location.

Have been a customer rexall on merivale for almost 30 years (even when it was pharmaplus across the street) this evening I went in picked up a prescription and my 7 and 5 year old girls used the bathroom. This was at 550pm on a saturday. I allowed them to pick out a treat, and was rushed and told they were closing the cash and store in a rude manner by what appeared to be the manager who said the store closes at 6pm. Meanwhile the sign out front says open late... now, I certainly don't like being that shopper who is there past close, but really? A large pharmacy in and on the heart of merivale rd closing at 6pm on a Saturday? And being rushed out by a rude manager? I'll take my business elsewhere next time. We Even travel from Dunrobin to still use this place... This was Saturday October 1st 2022

90% of the staff here are amazing, hands down. There are only one or two pharmacists I try to avoid at all costs. Having to take pain medication for chronic pain conditions comes with a stigma I've faced for a lot of years but having to deal with one particular pharmacist who shows his clear disdain for you because of it is exhausting and disappointing coming from a health care professional who should treat all their patients with compassion. The female pharmacists are phenomenal, I honestly just call to screen which pharmacist is working in order to avoid the man... Adding more stress some days than my body can reasonably handle.

Two hours ago I bought Nasal wash product called NeilMed this product has not applicator ,even though they type at bottoms corner Free sinus rinse bottle offer with bold blue write But when I reached my home I recognized there is NO applicator inside and I have to ordered this bottle directly from the manufacture, and this process will take 45 days . I think this is kind of sheading and when I tried to returned it the Manager in Rexall said Its not allowed to returned this because I open it up ,and he recommend to negotiate with the manufacture that located in US,I think they will loos a client spent 4 years with them

I’ve been coming here for years but the people working in the pharmacy have become so slow and incompetent over the passed couple years. I was the only person in line today and it took nearly 15 minutes to be served only to be told they don’t have my medication. I could’ve gone to another store and got it but they took their sweet time doing their jobs so now I have to go to work without my medication and being diabetic it’s kinda crucial I have it. Not mad they don’t have it, mad it took so long for them to serve me when I had the time to go to the pharmacy at the grocery store across the street.

My husband change to this place about 2 years ago and he was pleased so I changed to them. What a disaster! They don’t answer their phones or let them ring over 20 times before answering. They do not send faxes to renew medications at Dr.’s offices when the say they do. The most dangerous of my complaints they have screwed up my medications at least four times by misreading the prescriptions or not putting the correct code and overcharging or the numbers of repeats. They have never apologized for their mistakes. I do not trust then anymore am changing pharmacies now.

I arrived early to refill my prescription and i had called early as i had an interview later. I was the only one at the pharmacy and the lady was extremely rude. She made me wait and kept taking calls. She asked me to wait for 10 mins and then 10 seconds later said that my meds were ready. When I showed my new insurance card she said it will take time. The whole time she was very rude, when i asked how i can do this next time without the wait, she explained but also rolled her eyes at me.

This pharmacy used to be okay, but the new pharmacists and their assistants are incompetent and extremely rude. They often “forget” to fill prescriptions and will often argue with you that nothing was sent to them when in fact they can’t keep track of anything. Truly baffling the behaviour I have seen, don’t go here if you need medication on time as it will always be a hassle and they do not treat their customers with respect.

On May 10, 2023 I went there for COVID 19 vaccine shot. During the shot I started bleeding in the arm going down to the hand. All these years I many shots and this bleeding was completely unexpected. The pharmacist, who gave me the shot, forget about saying one single word about bleeding, wiped the blood half way on my arm, later he realized it's going down to my hand. He never utter a word and it was horrible experience.

I've never had a problem with the drugstore staff, but the pharmacy staff are incredibly rude and never answer their phone. It makes it difficult for you to transfer your prescription to another pharmacy. They were also charging me at least 2 times the price that Costco charges. Trust me, don't use this pharmacy. (Transfer your account elsewhere if you're already a client.) Save yourself the headache and money...

Worse drug store I have ever used. They always seem to be out of medication. They tell you your medication will be ready but you show up and it’s not ready yet. Went to pick up meds days after they were suppose to be ready because they didn’t have them in stock. Asked the pharmacist to contact me when ready. Never called. I will be changing to another pharmacy. Poor customer service.

I was here to pickup my prescription there were 4 staff behind the counter. There was a girl by the near by counter "I said excuse me the pharmacist answered back in a rude manner just a minute please". I was waiting for someone to come to me they all saw but was ignored me. Then went to front cash no one was there the cashier was not friendly. Time yo move business

A few days ago I was in your store.Your workers are really helpful and nice.Especially I want to mention Ashley.She is very proffesional and kind person. She helped me to determine my skin type and the best products for my skin. She explained me every single detail about products.I am really impressed by her passsion to help.Thank you so much.

They just don't answer the phone. We have a dog who needs seizure meds and it is nearly impossible to get a hold of these folks. **Edit** We just switched pharmacies. The main pharmacist is rude as heck. Never answers the phone and get snippy with customers. This is a terrible pharmacy and the corporation should look at the way it works.

Pharmacy has really fallen apart over the years from decreased staff - one person working on a phone call for over 5 minutes while 10+ people are in line. Medication prices change every month drastically ($20~), even though automated tells you it's ready for pick when you go it's not. They serve elderly with priority over anyone else.

From answering the phone with "Hello?" to completely ignoring you when you walk up to the counter, this pharmacy could not care less about you. Very poor communication and lack of effort has led to me not having my medication multiple times now. I'm transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

No humanity at all. Rude staff. Extremely rude, yesterday my doctor faxed them my prescription and I called to ask if they received the fax , the pharmacist who attended my call was extremely extremely rude to me. I changed my pharmacy, never ever going to this pharmacy again.

I dont normally make these reports but i feel an abslolute need in this case. Ill start by saying the front staff are excellent. The pharmacy dispensing fee is over priced and they don't answer the phone or get your meds refilled. Always an issue. Take your business elsewhere

Girl did not want to take my call as she told me to call bk . (Only one customer was present.)She put me on hold and I drove over to that location she said, I hung up. I then put my cell on speaker saying I’m still on hold. Terrible customer service avoid at all costs.

The Pharmacy needs to know what communication is with the people refilling their precriptions if there is a problem call the customer, DONT let be in a bad mood to find out what they order to be refill is not complete and this has happen afew times lately

As I stand here the only customer in the place, waiting for a pharmacist to get off his cell phone,then I finally ask my question and everything he says to get is wrong don't go here there are many other places that you can be treated with respect

Outdated food! Sold me eggs 2 days past their best before date and did not offer me anything other than exchange. They had lots more on the shelf with the same expired date. Beware and check the dates on anything you buy here.

Well organized . Convenient opening hours . Actually it was the only working pharmacy during Victoria day but the staff are way far from being friendly . This is also the experience of one of my friends.

PROS: Bright, modern, spacious, well stocked, friendly staff. CONS: Prices higher than most competition BUT they are improving with much better hours now. Their weekly flyer is getting more competive.

Shop from any store but this branch of Rexall. The staff are utterly rude and unhelpful. I will never walk back to this branch. Seriously, abandon this store until they change their attitude.

The quality of service at the pharmacy never ceases to amaze me. If you live in the area it is head and shoulders above the other chain pharmacy in the mall down the road.

I never had any issues with customer service at this location. Lady behind the cash was great. Lots of sales happening now with reduced prices on Christmas chocolate.

Pharmacist wouldn't even look at the prescription I walked in with. Suggested I drive down the road instead. Guess my friend has to start his antibiotics a day late.

Staff is always lovely, store front is generally well stocked and clean as well. Pharmacy staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

There's room for improvement.... But the staff have airways been really nice to my family and I appreciate that very much.

If you need medication on a regular basis secure yourself someone in the black market you likely have better luck.

Quick and painless flu shot. Pharmacist was super nice and friendly, which made the experience great!
