Kmart can be a very useful store due to its wide variety and low prices. You can’t always find the item you are looking for. Finding a staff member to ask for help is very difficult as there seems to be very little staff at all. Online it said several of the products I wanted were available, but the shelves were empty. I am unsure if this is still because of COVID in April 2021? Kmart do have an online service, but somethings you need to see in person and many items are not available for purchase online. We returned a fortnight later to check and many shelves were still empty. While the store entrance and main walkway is accessible to wheelchairs, many of the aisles are too small and it is nearly impossible to turn around, or wheel around a shelf to enter the next aisle. Added to this is the difficulty of seeing through the store to find the department you need. I find it claustrophobic. Obviously from my wheelchair I cannot reach many of the shelves and I would recommend you take someone with you for assistance. When possible I shop online to save the hassle, noise and overflowing checkouts. There is usually one person serving and I can’t help feeling it must be a stressful job. Having someone to help in a service checkout can be essential to a disabled person. The self service checkouts are always very busy and not always wheelchair friendly. They are constructed for abled bodies. I always try to go during the week when it is quieter. Having a busy store makes the whole shopping trip more exhausting and impossible to freely shop without mobility and access issues. Recently we found Kmart is adding mobility products: walking canes, wheelchairs, over bath tables, swivel seats. The placement of these at ends of rows in front of kitchenware made it harder to access, but I appreciated that they are carrying this equipment and even purchased a wide quad cane to replace my current rusty one. It was only $19. Great value. It is the great value that encourages me to return, even when I know it will be exhausting and frustrating.

I visited Kmart today, looking for a summer dress. I had selected 4 dresses to try and had also selected 4 items from the cosmetics shelves. Made my way to the dressing room to try the dresses for size, had wrapped the dresses around my arm to prevent them from touching the floor and I had the 4 coat hangers exposed to show the assistant at the dressing room, she insisted that I unwrap the dresses from my arm, I placed the cosmetics on the counter while I did as requested, she gave me the tag for my 4 items but as I attempted to collect the cosmetics to take with me she refused to allow me to take those into the dressing room, stating I could only take 6 items into the dressing room at one time. I found it offensive that I was being treated as a possible thief, I decided that I would not be purchasing anything from Kmart and left the items with the assistant and then approached a person, who was identified by one of the staff as a manager, and informed him about my experience and how offensive this sort of customer treatment is perceived, he confirmed a customer can only take 6 items into the dressing rooms that the assistant is required to hold any items over that number. This is patently ridiculous, if I had placed the cosmetics into the re-usable plastic shopping bag I had with me, until I got to the check-out, she would not have been any the wiser. I have never been treated with such obvious suspicion , even in Kmart but this is apparently Kmart policy now, very disappointing. I walked away from the purchases today and Kmart lost about $60 in sales, a drop in the ocean for such a big organisation but I may not be the only one who finds this sort of bullying behaviour offensive. I do understand that shop lifting is a huge problem but I am sure shop-lifters are a lot sharper than me and would not be openly displaying the items I was planning to purchase. Target, here I come.

This has got to be the worst option that K Mart has taken up. Firstly I had to ask 5 staff members (when I could locate one) where light globes were, surely not to difficult one would think, but believe me it was a half hour of frustration. Anyway found the light globes n they didn't have the type I was looking for. Anyhow bought a few little things for my grandkids n off I go to the front of the store to pay. But NO U can't pay at the front of the store anymore U have to go back into the store in the middle n surprise surprise there is one register, yrs only one where u can converse with a human being Poor bloke there were 5 people in front of me not when it was my turn I asked him how many times a day that he was abused? Literally he told me far too many to count, I felt so very sorry for him n yes there is only ONE register U could pay at. To put it frankly it's a shop lifters paradise. I will not be going back there anytime soon .Avoid this store like the plague

Horrible customer service, especially the old lady at click & collect section. Now Sydney is in lockdown and I was forced to do click & collect which I really don’t like. I bought stuff from pagewood twice, and unfortunately I bumped into her each time. She was extremely slow and couldn’t find anything. Also she was very rude when I mentioned there are more things I purchased , she yelled at me saying “Be patient”. Trust me, no one can be patient when her efficiency is absolutely zero. I think Kmart definitely needs to train your staff more, especially permanent staff who thinks they will never lose their job so they just became rude and lack of work ethic. I used to work in Kmart as well and none of our staff is as slow and rude as her. Would never shop in Kmart Pagewood anymore.

Went in on Saturday asked about tyres. Got the info but could not order them on the weekend apparently. So had to call in and book. Called in on Wednesday to book in for Saturday, with all the information and confirmed they needed to order the tyres. Go in and leave car. Got a call half an hour later the tyre never arrived, only have 3,did I want 3 done and another on Monday? Saturday for a reason,twice.. Now have to waste another call and another few hours on a Saturday getting tyres. Suggest checking the bookings to make sure you have what you need for them! Who has time to sit around for hours now days? Fuming!

Faced harsh racist behaviour from this branch today and still can't get rid of it from my head. While checking for some t shirts, I polite asked the stuff to tell me where's the menz trail rooms. The stuff replied "This is Australia and here everything is universal". I simply went back to the trial room without replying. Later I asked the stuff why she would say that but she just simply said not to disturb her in rude way. I am an Australian citizen and never felt saw such racist behaviour!! I complain it to the counter and they just simply replied they would say this to their manager!! That's it!!

I presented to Kmart staff Eastgarden NSW 6 days after my purchase, with the item in perfect condition, the receipt and the original payment mean (my credit card on my phone), and the staff denied me to be reimbursed. Instead they gave me a voucher which I do not want. I explained I wasn't interested in a voucher, they refused to credit my bank account back or give me cash back. This is outrageous practice, forcing me to stay a Kmart customer, while it gives the feeling I cannot trust them. Be prepared to not be able to return an item before spending a significant amount.

This used to be a fantastic store. I do not think I will ever return after today. Was looking for craft resin, stated it was in stock at this store when I checked online, it wasn't. Tried to find a staff member to assist, no staff anywhere which I found really unusual as you can usually find one hiding in the aisles..... Then went to the checkout to pay for what I did find and the line was incredibly long! I almost joined the other customers walking out in disgust. Even if you live local, just try another Kmart, this one has gone downhill very badly.

Not to happy my partner cut his arm walking past a shelf It was bleeding, we tryed to tell someone at the counter and he didn't even seem to ask if he was OK or where it happened. An older man seen it an said if it was him it would of taken a lot of skin of an bleed badly. I told the guy at the counter it was in a main isle over there and it could really hurt someone. He walked off and that was that we used self service and left. He could have or at least got someone higher up to check it out or at least apologise. NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Oh Kmart, the wonderful store with amazing items at affordable prices!! Recently this location received a remodel and my god, it looks BEAUTIFUL!! I thought I stepped into the future!!? Some of the recent lines of clothing they’ve been releasing are super cute, only downfall is sometimes the quality differs, I feel like Kmart is a hit or miss sometimes, I have a my little pony pyjama set, the pants ripped on my first/second wear. I just sewed it up, but now another hole has appeared! I love the set too much to return, but just be weary!

Stood at the service desk for so long literally just waiting for someone to look up a product for me, another woman walked right up to the desk and asked the guy for something and he served her without hesitation ? Like he had seen me standing there for 15 minutes. Another staff member came over and the guy told her I was next, then she walked off who knows where and came back to the desk and another woman walked up and the got served ? So weird, I just walked away because what on earth, they all saw me standing there waiting.

I spent about an hour in Kmart downloading their photo app just so I could print one photo for a school assignment. The process took so long I decided to print a few other photos at the same time so I wouldn't have to come back. After the whole ordeal I was given my photos which consisted of several doubles and triples and enlargements of photos I did not ask for and NOT the one photo I originally came to print. Now I see that the photo I wanted to print is being used on the google maps site for Kmart photos!! Not Happy!!

Interesting selection of items. Unfortunately rude check out staff, who were more interested in chatting to each other, than helping customers. When one finally came over to assist (the self chick out got stuck) they didn't say anything, just scanned a code and walked back to their friend to continue their conversation Even the harried staff at Woolies take the time to acknowledge you! Guessing the A team aren't in charge on a Sunday night...

Attended Kmart Pagewood. Out of stock on many items. Lady at the change rooms informs they are shut for the day despite the store not closing for another 4 hours. Queue of angry customers wishing to try garments and the manager arrived. Apparently much earlier in the day someone had thrown up and they hadn't bothered to clean it up. Most staff friendly but some rude. Real shame from Kmart as most experiences are usually positive.

I’m actually disgusted by the service here - the photo kiosk did not work at all, no help was provided or offered. I then had to wait over 20 minutes at a counter to be served for ‘INSTANT’ photos that weren’t even ready. It’s not the workers fault it’s their lack of staff and miscommunication as well as technical departments. I use to love Kmart this has completely changed my opinion. DO NOT USE THEIR PHOTO BOOTHS. Horrible.

KMART EastGardens is a great place to shop as they have literally everything under the sun plus they have a good range of clothing unlike Bondi which is next closest store to the Eastern subs The parking is fantastic as they offer 3 hours of free parking on any day but after 6pm its free completely so yes that's a plus to staying on and get your food shopping sorted as they have Aldi, woolworths and Coles

Generally good, low priced items. Not best quality, serviceable. Why do they have to put all the registers right in the middle so that when you walk out you have to unpack everything to show your receipts again? Also, the lines are always so long Half The time you just don't buy your stuff. Yesterday there were 50 people lining up. Just ridiculous the line wrapped so far you couldn't find the end of it.

I have been in to the Eastgardens Kmart quite a few times recently and for whatever reason shelves are particularly low in stock. Today again, unfortunately shelves were still looking a little bare, especially the toys section. Staff were friendly however and the usually busy queue for cash registers wasn't too bad. Hopefully low stock levels in some sections of store are only temporary.

Kmart eastgardens finally gets it's up grade and now looks like a carbon copy of the marrackville store. The usual kmart fare nothing exciting or disappointing Only annoying thing is the checkouts in the centre of the shop instead of at the front and having to relearn where everything is now. Other than that, nice store,good location close to carpark access and friendly enough staff

I fully paid and ordered a bike last week and the service guy told me to collect the bike this Monday afternoon. I queued for 15 minutes to collect the bike and the service woman told me that the bike has not been built. She do not know when it will be ready. what do I do? It is a terrible or no service from Kmart. I will never buy another bike from kmart again.

KMart is one of those affordable places where from the rich class to the average middle people would go to. It has everything under one roof. Even though it's entirely the customers fault about messing the whole place up but the employees should also be a bit more agile about tiding up fast. Clothes to homeware,toys to electronics, you name it...it's there!

Got served by an older lady at the desk at the back I asked if the stock was available in any other sizes and then she gave me the dirtiest look as if I interrupted her life by waiting for service. She snatched the item from me and told me which store they would be available at but was super rude. Being old doesn’t give you an excuse to be rude and grumpy.

The mature lady serving at the Kmart Eastgardens Returns Counter is extremely rude. . It has happened on a number of occasions. Be careful of her. A complaint has been raised to the store manager. It is appalling why such a habitually rude, angry and cranky staff member is allowed to serve customers at all. It totally ruins the shopping experience.

On a very busy day, Jacob at the service desk was able to fulfil all my needs when I needed him most. He helped me refund some smelly bra's I bought for my mum which had white stains after 1 use and made the process really easy. Although I thought it was wierd when he said the refund policy was a taste test and started licking it in front of me.

Everyone loves Kmart because of the prices and diversity of product’s. Unfortunately lately all the shelves are empty because of the COVID situation! I just think that it’s not fair the shipping fee as it’s been recommended online shopping to avoid spread the virus. They should facilitate the fee so we could still buy with a fair prices.

When I visited it was a bit of a mess, with lots of price tags, receipts and and clothes on the floor in quite a few places. I almost tripped over some coat hangers at one point. I imagine that this was because I went there in the evening, so it hadn't been cleaned since the morning and had this accumulated a day's worth of messiness.

It's decently large and unlike other department stores it's a bit easier to find a staff member around when you need one. I'm decently happy with it and there's no reason why I wouldn't recommend it. The kmart at eastgardens has recently had a facelift and it is fantastic. The woke site looks much nicer than it used to and the new layout isn't bad. The only thing that i have to comment on is the lack of people to help you find things in store, but I suppose for such cheap prices something has to give.

I love shopping at Kmart for everyday items and especially for party products. Kmart literally has almost anything you can think of. The toy section is well stocked and well priced. The towel range is actually surprisingly really good and so cheap. You can get a very good bath towel for around $5.

Kmart Pagewood is located in a busy shopping centre but the staff are quite lazy to refill the shelves you will often hear politely we are running out of this item. Although I live at Matraville I often go to Kmart Broodway where most items are available, however they are kind with customers.

Kmart in Eastgardens Shopping Center, Pagewood, is a great store for large sizes. I went shopping today for our 92 year old cousin who is size 24. They have up to size 26, which is hard to find. Always cheap and large selection. Size 24 stretch singlets were reduced to $2.50. Amazing!

Not happy with the renovations, they have the women’s wear seperated by the main centre aisle which makes no sense and the regular stationery is on the opposite side of the store to the children’s stationery all over its difficult to manoeuvre but still good value

Who doesn't like kmart? Perfect for young families. It has everything you need to raise kids and have low cost, beautiful decor to buy you don't mind getting trashed by young children. Layout is great, checkout fast and variety enough to satisfy most people.

I do not like the new lay our of the store. The way inwhich the stock displayed is awful. I used to shop there very often but no longer do so. There are never staff svailable to assist to find where to find items. The cashiers are very nice and friendly.

Like most other K-Marts big, clean and tidy, I did notice that some shelves were quite empty, maybe supply shortages due to the Covid situation, picked out a nice lamp, but no compatible globes on the shelves, had to go to Bunnings to find a E14 globe

Kmart sizing is ridiculous. Every time I go There I’m a different size it( especially with jeans/pants) it isn’t inclusive at.
