13/10/23 5:30pm In the customer service department, a female employee with long blond hair who looked to be in her 20s and heavy makeup discriminated against me and my girlfriend. ———————————————————————— We took a picture of a display product on the night of 12/10 and asked if she had it in stock in the warehouse. We took a picture of the barcode and gave it to her, but she was not even willing to help us check the inventory. And her attitude during the conversation was extremely discriminatory and disrespectful. My girlfriend and I felt very uncomfortable. After we left in the evening of 12/10, we went to another Kmart. The staff there helped us check where the inventory was. The staff told us that the Kmart in Black Town had 3 units in stock. 13/10 5pm Not long ago, we asked about the bicycle again, but she still insisted that there was no stock in the warehouse. Her attitude is really bad. This is the first time we have been discriminated against in Australia.She had never checked the inventory at all. We then used the translation software to tell her that another Kmart had called to confirm. Black town Kmart still had 3 units in stock, and we had already left our names to reserve them, She was finally willing to go into the warehouse to look for it We are really angry and sad. Because of this employee who discriminated against us, we had to run back and forth between two Kmarts. This was the first time we were discriminated against because we wanted to buy a bicycle. What we say is true, please check the monitor

If I could give minus stars I would. This store is by far the worst when it comes to Click & Collect stock availability. Out of 6 Click & Collect orders to date, not 1 of them has been completely fulfilled. I have just collected an order where the 'available' cart total was $365. Upon receiving the Ready to Collect confirmation, I was refunded $320!!!! $320 of what was said to be available stock for that store online was actually UNAVAILABLE. Then there was the time I ordered stationery and home office equipment earlier this year. When receiving the 'Ready to Collect' confirmation, I was advised 2 items were unavailable. Okay no worries... The following day on my way to collect, I receive another email saying that 4 more items were unavailable... yep, the day AFTER receiving my collection confirmation. But wait... it gets better. I arrive at the Service desk to collect my order and they hand me over this tiny little parcel wrapped in black plastic. I get to my car and open it. It is a desk drawer organiser.... that is it. As I get ready to go back inside to ask for the rest of my order, I get another notification email saying that the 5 other missing items are unavailable and being refunded!!! I drove an hour to pick up a $3 plastic Desk Drawer Organiser!!!!!!! I can only assume that the items i irdered were sooo popular and in demand, that they kept picking items out of my order... but who knows?? So the lesson here is.... DO NOT ORDER CLICK & COLLECT from Kmart BLACKTOWN!!!

Well let me share my experience that I had with Kmart Their policy to Click and collect is by all means not what they promise at all. As I got a text message yesterday saying my packages will be ready to pick up today after 12 midday. Will Kmart I'm not only gave you an extra 12 hours to watch you preach on your website that it will be they're the next day. But by the time I get it which will be tomorrow or maybe the next day again will surely be a ridiculous promise I have 24 hours pickup from purchase. Oh. So after my wife trying to contact your store repetitively for 6 hours straight to no avail to speak to a human little own a robot once. Upon connecting with them through text message she thought there was a language breakdown between her and one of the workers trying to find out where my products are that I paid for two days ago. But this wasn't the case it was just actually a worker that couldn't be bothered doing job probably. So after 72 hours the only thing we got from Kmart is a migraine headache. Thanks Kmart. At the end of the day Kmart staff was absolutely atrocious and rude with absolutely no people skills what's the weather. I've been help better from McDonald's with teenagers running the store. Once again thank you Kmart. Once again from another business that's claims best customer quality service when actually it is nothing but an in service. Absolutely bewildered and gobsmacked about this yours faithfully still waiting.

I called this morning to ask for a specific item to see if the store had in stock before placing a Click and Collect order through. On your website, it says “Our stock levels are constantly changing, we recommend calling ahead”. However, when I called - this woman in Sporting Goods called and had an attitude with her and disgusting manners. I was very kind at the beginning but she had made me very angry. I asked if they had any of the items I wanted before putting through an order. She had replied back to me with an incredible tone “Oh I don’t think so! But since I’m walking that way, I might as well check. Just letting you know that I we don’t do that, if you want to order it you’re going to have to take the chance in case someone else buys it.” I then replied “Yes that’s fine, I didn’t ask you to put it on hold, I just asked as per your website says to ask your stock levels beforehand.” And she abruptly replied “Yeah, but you said you want it to be out on hold so” Can you please reach out to your team members and have them coached with effective customer service. I am a professional in retail, I do understand the climate of Omni channel. However, I do also what I have been told - in this instance “We recommend calling ahead”. She might not understand where I was coming from, and that’s fine - but fix your tone and attitude because this is a place of business.

Worst customer support. Staffs are not keen to act customer query. Seems they are doing mercy to Customer. We picked 3 winter trousers and 1 jamper. All are placed same table with large quantity each item and clearance price 4$ each . In cash counter when i scanned the jamper which taking its original price i.e 12$ each and same price for trousers. I informed the counter and she asked her colleague to check and she went to check that physically in the place picking the jamper eith her only only and its around 10 min, I with my kid waiting until she returned and said , yes, that jamper price is 4$. When i asked what about the trousers, she seems confused as she actually have not checked that., seems she was lazy to do it again or not really want to check again going physically, after a while she gave decision, without checking, for the jamper price that its price 12$ each. I am pretty sure that discount apply in jamper too if she checked. properly. This store dose not have any system. Showing one price and in counter different price and stuffs are not helpful.

Because it's a 24-hour Kmart, late night impulsive visits to the shop present opportunities to people insane enough to venture there at three in the morning on a cold winter night. Whether it's to pick up a Lego set (if there's a discount and it's actually in stock, because it usually isn't), or to grab some random thing made by Anko (because we need said thing and Anko products are frighteningly cheap), this Kmart is effectively the go-to if you really need an item and you don't have the patience to wait a few more hours (or order online). Do practice caution as the car park, although generously large, is usually packed during most day time hours. Additionally, because weekends are what they are, trying to find a park here at midday on either a Saturdays Sundays is an exercise in both patience and possibly belief in a higher being, willing to bestow parking opportunities to the faithful.

Went on a Sunday night after 12am. Shelves were empty, why is there no stock? Couldn't get half the things I came in for. The service was horrible. No staff members around other then a few folding clothes. As I was walking to the register I overheard one of the staff members huff and complain that she had to go back to the registers to supervise customer payments. Why did she feel the need to complain about her job? They ALWAYS have items in the wrong spot. Staff members and filling teams need to be aware of where they are putting the items. Most things were in the wrong spot with the wrong price. You get to the check out only to be told "oh someone must have put it in the wrong spot'" So the whole box of 12 were just conveniently in the wrong spot? Kmart employees get paid too much for poor service and stupid excuses.

I can honestly say it's never a good experience. Every time it says something is in stock on the website we wasted our time and petrol coming to the store only to be told it's out of stock. The girls at the service counter have never been helpful. Any time I've asked where I can find a product in the store they just shrug their shoulders and don't even give me an answer. The massive lines at the self serve is ridiculous, bring back checkout workers. The store is always a mess, one night we visited my girlfriend almost slipped over a pile of broken glass on the floor. We had to stand around the broken glass for 20 MINUTES! so that nobody came and slipped on it and seriously hurt themselves before somebody actually came and cleaned it up. I'm sorry but this store is a joke... just shocking.

Today I rate Kmart Blacktown a 10/10 for exceptional customer service, support but most importantly for their kindness and understanding. This is not my usual Kmart but I was here a few weeks ago just after lockdown to purchase some stuff. On this fateful day I decided to cash out no less than $100. Halfway as I’m driving back home I realise I forgot my cash at the store Oh s***! I was too tired to drive all the way back there and couldn’t get back until a few days later. Long story short after 2 trips to the store and a bunch of helpful staff and managers I have my money back :) I can’t thank this store enough, whoever does the recruiting and training for Kmart staff at this store sure does a bloody good job! A million salute to the staff Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Ordered something online to collect at this store . Got refund after couple of days saying that we don’t have this item in stock. Then today i saw online that product is available again and i tried to contact the store. Trying to call them to enquire regarding stock availability from last 2 hours but no one answers call . Online it shows its available at this store when i reached here there is none available. After enquiring at customer service they told me that they have the stock available but have to put it on the shelfs but don’t know when that’s going to happen . Just to mention i met another person at the store with the same issue. Can’t relay on them anymore . So after getting fed up with kmart experience ordered the same product through Amazon at cheaper price .

By far the worst Kmart store in Sydney. I visited well before midday, busy yes but not chockers by any means but this place is untidy, unorganised and an absolute dump !!! I snapped a few photos where I could but almost every aisle especially in the home wares area was no different. At least Big W and Target make an effort consistently tidying and stocking shelves. Making it a pleasant place to shop.. Heck even weekend markets are tidier than this!? Considering this is a 24hr store you'd think they'd employ enough staff to keep the shelves organised so not only it's visually appealing but you can find exactly what you need. Looks like no one has bothered to clean these up for days!

This store shouldn’t even rate a 1 star, after completing my purchase a friend and I waited outside the store in the carpark whilst another friend was completing his transaction. Whilst waiting we were confronted by a gentlemen in a Kmart Polo (no name badge or correct wearing of his mask) asking what we were doing standing outside the store we explained waiting for a friend, this confrontation wasn’t called for and we were harassed for no apparent reason. This gentlemen claimed to the store manager, I have approached Kmart through online feedback only to sent a formatted/template response and thank you for your feedback. Regrettably I will never shop at this store again.

The staff look like that the first time they do any work, it will be the first time that they actually earn any of their pay Very poor level of customer service even for Kmart. The store always looks disgusting in appearance, and stock although apparently listed, doesn't exist. The store actually looks worse in appearance than most dumps. Stock is littered all over the store, and there is stock which is obviously soiled left on shelves and the floor. I have even had the misfortune to encounter foul smelling areas in this store. A store of last resort only

I just had the absolute worst experience at this KMART! I was rudely harassed and accused of not paying for an item the checkout person watched me pay for. I was chased out of the store, yelled at, and he snatched my item out of my hand. I provided the security guard with my receipt as well as my bank statement clearly showing I had paid for this item. After providing several forms of evidence I was continually harassed and spoken to in such a rude manner. I am absolutely disgusted by this behaviour after a 10 minute encounter they realised they had falsely accused me and I received no apology. Absolutely not returning to this KMART.

Omg what a bloody shambles this place is! If I was the Store Manager I'd be embarrassed. There were no baskets anywhere to be seen for customer use, the shelves of clothing are a mess, no staff attending to presentation or returns, nothing from the fitting rooms is put back, the makeup aisle is full of empty pegs a sign of no stock recovery & replenishment, there's a fridge running near the middle registers with not one drink in it. Probably the worst Kmart I've ever been in. The management team at head office need to visit this store on a Saturday or just unannounced to see it for what it really is.

Unfortunately they don't have as much stock as they should as of right now. Nov/2021. However, normally a really good store. Easy to find items. I don't like their baby clothes, not much variety Kmart in general. ‍♀️ UPDATE:-Aug 2022. Looking rather untidy and late night shopping after 9pm proved to actually be busy, in saying that, you'd think they would have more staff on? I couldn't even convince the floor girl to supervise the closed change rooms for 5min for my son to try on clothes... ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ not impressed. On the flip side... you can always grab a bargain..

Who doesn’t love KMART!! This one has been around for quite some time and a favourite family spot. Cheap affordable and something for everyone. Even if you didn’t know you wanted it Have never had any issues with the service. Parking always a parking spot somewhere. But does need abit of attention. Looks a little neglected but hopefully will be around for a long time to come. I actually like that it’s outside Westpoint at the moment because their traffic is crazy and you can get into Kmart quite easily. Not sure if the building next to it is owned by Kmart but never been in there before...

Kmart Blacktown This Kmart is one of top best, It's 24 hours open.. The staff there are helpful and respectful.. There you can find most of things you want... The prices there are cheap and fair... The things are each in separate sections, so you will easily find what you want... The environment there are good and you will enjoy... The things are worthy... There is a big car park, it's free and too many spaces available... You are in near, you should visit the Kmar Blacktown and spends a good time, even if alone, with friends or family... I highly recommend the Kmart Blacktown... Thank you...

Would highly recommend not shopping at this one as today I was in there with my 2 year old and newborn we left within 10 minutes as the aircon was unbearable it was like sitting in a hot car my toddler was crying his face was bright red my baby was bolling and I myself was sweating badly another 2 lady's who where shopping mentioned how overly hot it was and uncomfortable I also mention to the lady at the door and she said she knows in the middle of the store it's worse she then began to say needs to be addressed plus it only made body Oder in the store heighten

I went to pick up a photo and there was no one at the counter. Rang the service bell and was waiting a good 5 minutes before someone showed up. Shelves are always empty and nothing is where it should be, so I have to spend half my time there looking for the matching prices. Super under staffed and I always notice they all spend a lot of time lolly gagging around, talking about relationships and such, and a lot of the time they are either rude or act too busy to assist you. None of the actual checkouts are ever open, its always self serve, which I hate.

My recent trip was quite large. The store manager and staff assisted me with packing the cage, purchasing items and even assisted me to the car with a trolley. I was also able to access the loading dock for the bulk of my purchase. The staff were beautiful! The manager on shift was amazing and contacted me the next day to advise that items I needed had coming in overnight. (Not available in the original shop). It only takes a few seconds to make a lasting impression but this trip was awesome. Thank you guys ❤️

They always close before time, happened many times when they are not open 24hrs. Stopped shoppers from entering almost 15-20 minutes before official closing hours. Security guard replies rudely as always, store closes when manager says it’s closed. I have visited this few times in the past, always mess, dirt on the floor and empty shelves. Hope they change the official time on website and on google, so shoppers can save their valuable time. Highly suggest you to avoid going here, visit Mt Druitt also 24hrs.

Went to two Kmarts (Stanhope & Rouse Hill) to find a clothing rack.. both said they had stock online and directed me to were they should be - then told me too bad if it’s not there. Went to my THIRD store - Bonnie from Blacktown checked the area, then proceeded to check out the back. Even though they had not been unpacked yet, she got me one off the pallet from the back. Thank you Bonnie for caring, your amazing customer service is much appreciated, 10/10 service - Give Bonnie a pay increase!

One of the best Kmart in Sydney, they are open 24 hours, great in size, collection is very good compare to other Kmart, they have almost everything stocked up and it's easy to figure out the things you're looking for... But stuff shortage in every section. No one to support or help to find anything. Very few stuff here n there. Some of my friends told me service stuffs are rude but honestly i didn't find any their service is average. Nice atmosphere and one of the clean Kmart in Sydney.

Absolute appalling service, SEVERELY understaffing too cheap to hire more staff to open more registers that ACTUALLY WORK! Expect to wait in line LONGER than actually shopping THAN waiting even longer for a poor underpaid overworked staff member to make the rounds on 8 different self serve machines (because that’s all they offer) to clear *Assistance Required* every 5 seconds. Always been a in store person with 5* rating. But tried Click & Collect for the first time. The options provided to inside store pick up or front store. Chose to do the front one. No one attended. So went in and queried about with a staff member. They weren't ready to even listen what I was saying. The response was to go to the back Desk to pickup. She wasn't even ready to listen that I have booked front door pickup. Kmart is much better without staffs and Self Services.

Awful store with terrible service. I made a favor for your store and ordered over and over again. And as it turned out in vain. All three orders were with terrible service. One package was poorly packed. All things were scattered over a huge box. Another package was not delivered at all. Site performance is awful. There are things online when you order. You place an order and after payment you get a refund for 65 percent of the items in the entire package.

The state of the store is a worry. Trolleys full of rubbish scattered everywhere, items strewn across the floor in the stoor, damaged and stolen products, etc. I don't believe it's the fault of the staff, they seem understaffed. I've always had great customer service from them, very helpful, friendly and determined to help. Unfortunately the locals thrash the store and I don't think they have the manpower to clean up the mess.

Really rude older staff member at the service desk just now. I called the team member by pressing the button, she came over about 10 minutes all snappy and rude and telling me I need to be more patient as its after midnight and she's the only staff member at the desk. That is not my problem, I am a customer here to shop and regardless of the time she shouldn't be so rude and grumpy. Had a great experience up until then.

Kmart is great, I'm a huge fan, but, this one makes it easy to choose shopping elsewhere. Shelves are always empty, day or night they don't have what you want. Middle checkouts ar never opened. Staff are rude, always act too busy to help when the self checkouts are playing up. I don't mind hearing the workers talk about their love lives but would appreciate 1 person available to swipe their store log in card

Has everything but lacks sought after items like Bondi for instance. Also quite unkempt, lots of products have been opened, a bit dirty as well. Great though if you need a bowl or something for the next day and you remembered at 10PM when everywhere else is closed. Best feature is the fact that it's open 24/7 but it unlikely will have in stock that sought after bowl. You'd need to make do with whatever's left.

I love this store! Their homewares are great value and look top end. I really like their Hask hair treatment range. The Argan oil and keratin treatments are fantastic. The sachets are only $3 for a treatment. Their toy section is always fully stocked and orderly, so too is their camping and sport section. I’m happy with their school range too. Girls school tights in navy are hard to find, but they have lots!

Had to wait 40 minutes for Winnie to complete my jop of printing passport photos but she did the worst thing possible, she went off without telling us. We were waiting for her for nearly 40 minutes and on checking with her colleague we were informed that she has left for the day. Does K Mart employ such irresponsible people. The worst part is I could not get our photos printed. It was very disappointing.

I just want to say I have never had such good service for such a long time. His parents must be very proud of him with his mannerisms and people skills. Went today with my 70 year old mother and 5 year old child. Thinking it’s a 24 hours big store wil be comfortable with family. My son wanted to use the washroom. No washroom facilities ! I had to leave my mother behind in store alone and rush to Westfield food court washroom. Please fix your washrooms if you want to open on weekends and want families to come. Very very disappointing

This place is minus 5 stars. It is the messiest absolute dump I have ever seen. There is more products on the floor than on the shelves. I have seen hurricane affected areas look more organised. It looks like the store has not been cleaned in years. Avoid like the plague the store is a dump. The staff and management should all be sacked and they should be ashamed of themselves.

This place is a life saver ever need anything at any time of day, this is your go too. Always well stocked toy section and clothes departments are well kept. While you wait digital prints. Perfect for last minute shopping for gifts. Heaps of parking spaces. Only down side is sometimes a lack of staff to assist however the staff I've had dealt with have been most helpful.

Plenty of parking space and item stocks are quite a lot. For other transport options such as Bus and Train it is easily accessible. 8 mins walk from Blacktown station if you are coming through Westpoint mall. There are bus stops next to Kmart as well. Overall its a go to place for any budget friendly shopper. Return policies are also customer centric.

I usually enjoy coming here but today was something else, there was no aircon & it was such a humid day. I couldn't bare it with the heat & masks, the entrance door was out of order, the exit door was the only thing providing any type of air supply. I have had surgery on both arms asked staff if they could put large item in my car ..was told had to go to loading dock out back rang door bell knocked on door tried call 4 times with no answer finally after pressing door bell continues someone came at the door. Always great having 24hr access to Kmart. The service here was impeccable, the greeter was lovely and all other workers were lovely, specifically the photo centre lady who was so helpful not just to me but I noticed she went above and beyond for everyone she served. So nice to see great service.

Normally I love Kmart but when I was in Kmart Blacktown yesterday it was a huge mess Pallets and racks of stuff everywhere blocking any sort of movement around the store I heard a woman ask a staff member what was going on only to simply be told " we're busy" Impossible to shop there

The store was a mess, no one was wiping down the self service counters after each use. Only having a self serve option after 5.30pm isn't very helpful when you are 8 months pregnant and instead of offering assistance the staff just stare at you like your stealing items.

open for 24 hours so it's always the best option for last minute gifts. I won't say the products are of best of the quality but Product range is good and at a cheaper price. The store is not organised and I often find myself lost if I am looking for a specific product.

6 self service check outs open with the front 6 closed. Check outs needing constant attention from a single employee. Line a mile long. There is nothing I need from K-Mart that would entice me to put up with that dreadful service. Dumped my goods and walked.

Busy location. Heaps of parking. Open 24 hours, so great for spontaneous shopping or if you need a cast iron frying pan at 2am in the morning.. I mean who doesn't..? The general tidyness and amount of stock availability have improved over the last 12 months.

One of the few 24 hours Kmart stores. Lots of parking and great variety of items for affordable price. Some problems are the trolleys are all over the parking lot. People are not bothered to just put it back in the bay. Plus all the garbage in the car park.

Huge store by K mart at Blacktown. Ample parking area and the store operates 24 hours. Pleasing staff and cheapest products available. A lot of products including household items, apparel, footwear, toys, stationary etc. available at the store.

The most affordable apparel in Blacktown. Praise to importers from China and Bangladesh. The clothing is well made and reliable for durance. I strongly recommend that people of low income visit the complex and check the merchandise out.

Nothing like a good ol’ Kmart run. Ample parking space, in the heart of Blacktown, found a product I’ve been searching for, for months. Friendly security, night shift staff were doing their thing (restocking and tidying store).
