Good morning, The email address I was provided for the manager was incorrect. My name is Megan I contacted you this morning in regard to the appalling customer service I experienced at your front check out at 6:30-6:35 this morning. I am a new mum dealing with all the hormonal changes, sleep deprivation. I have anxiety going into crowded places hence why I came early. Where I was harassed, victimised and accused of stealing a dummy because a packet of three was missing one. Where a female staff member asked if I stole a dummy to which I replied no I didn’t steal your dummy. Her reply was are you sure a staff member told me you did. I said why would I steal your dummy. The female Staff member walked around to look at my baby which I found very rude, I don’t appreciate strangers getting in my daughter’s space. The female staff member kept asking me that I was sure I didn’t steal the dummy and that she would go and watch the camera. I said go and watch the camera then. When I finally got away from the harassment I said as I walked out thank you for accusing me of being a thief. On my way out that female staff member was laughing with another staff member in regards to my question about why I would still a dummy. Just because I have a baby doesn’t mean I am a thief! I felt victimised because I had a baby, that suddenly made me a thief because you were missing a dummy from a packet and I was in your store. I went in your store to buy my husband a pair of thongs because his last pair broke yesterday and surprise him and to buy my daughter a bottle to drink water from. Never did I think that a simple trip to Kmart would end the way it did. I would like to follow up on what the actions were after my call and what will happen from now on. Kind regards Megan.

I just tried to return an item for change of mind a day after buying it. It was a charger but did not suit my purpose. I was denied a refund because the packaging had been opened. This is not made clear on your web page at all! This woman at 11pm on August 8, 2023 at your Penrith store was not very nice. Far from being apologetic, she actually snorted when I said it wasn’t useful for my purpose. “It’s a charger,” as in “what did you expect stupid?” I am stupid. I’m 65 years old and am trying to keep up with this ever changing world. I was trying to get this Goobay 12 in 1 speaker working and found that you need that usb-c to connect to the computer, not just the power. How was I to know? I thought it was Bluetooth. I have since bought a usb adapter from Bunnings for far less and am now regretting this $22 purchase from Kmart. Is it true that a bubble pack (or whatever you call it) cannot be opened for change of mind? I know I’ve returned items packaged in such a way from Bunnings that were opened. I have always been a big fan of Kmart but this has left a bad taste in my mouth. If I had known of this policy (if indeed it is your policy) then perhaps I would have still bought it, however, as it was, part of my decision was made in the mistaken belief that I could return it. If this is your policy, then you need to be more explicit in your returns policy with specific mention of sealed plastic packaging. This would include a significant percentage of your products! I tried to complain on your website but there does not appear to be anywhere for such a complaint. Not good enough. Not good enough by half.

Just shopped at Kmart Penrith (October 26th 2023, 9.30am ish) and do not recommend if you are in a rush. It is well known that a staff member stands at the front entrance of the store and checks receipts as you exit. I had my receipt ready to go to show the lady, however she was having a good old chit chat with another lady. I wasn’t going to stand around and wait. There were other customers behind me also and I have things to do. As soon as I left the store and was in the main shopping centre, she turned around and demanded she check my receipt so I flashed it at her. She then proceeded to tell me, no I must return back into the store for her to check it and my bag (which was full because I had spent $100 there), so I told her don’t bother checking it then. She told me she “had” to check it so I needed to come back inside. I told her no, I tried to do the right thing and show the receipt as we all know the procedure too well, but she was talking to someone so I wasn’t going to interrupt nor stop my day (which is already jam packed with things I need to get done) to show a stupid receipt when I know I paid for everything. If stores and big corporations like this can’t trust customers to use self serve and basically do a staff members job for them in a cost saving measure, then maybe they need to reconsider how they operate and bring back manned check outs. It’s utterly disgusting that I’m made to feel like a criminal for simply doing my shopping and going about my day.

Let me first tell you that I walk with an aide and, slow due to health issues. Its important to know this upfront. I was needing help with finding toys for my grand daughter as well as wanting help with clothes for myself. As I struggle walking I went to both departments but couldn't find what I was looking for and wanted assistance.I didn't come across a single shop assistant until I was almost out the door. I know if I was to complain I would get an apology as staff are on lunch or we are short staffed or perhaps covid will be to blame but that isn't good enough as I've been hearing the same excuses now for around 7 years if I speak to some one about finding help. Even if I call on the phone it often takes forever to get through or to the right person and I would never call week ends as more than likely I get casual young staff who often have no clue. What happened to the days where customers where satisfied with their shopping experiences. You should be running around a store no matter where or which store it is to be able to find help especialy when your mobility isn't good. Unfortunitly Kmart isn't the only store in Penrith I've found it difficult find staff to get help even when my health was better. Not good people!

Came in on 29/06/2022 during the morning. I usually avoid this kmart as I have never had a good experience. But today my mum was in town I haven't been here in years and its only gotten worse. We made a purchase grabbed a receipt and have it ready because I am always stopped. But today was something I have never experienced. The lady yelled and stopped me just outside the store.. and yelled at me asking for my receipt. I gave it to her and she pulled on my kmart bag inside my pram rummaging through to make sure everything was accounted for. The started pulling on my baby bag and my mother had bag. I tried stopped her and said that this was quiet enoug. And does she check everyone like this? And she then scoffed at he and threw my receipt at me and said "Well not everyone is suspicious." I could not believe what was actually said.. I said pardon me? And she just shewed me. My mum and I then watched her for 5 mins watching her nicely greet people and check receipts but never touching anyone. Absolutely horrified.

I recently had a fantastic shopping experience at the Kmart in Penrith. The store had a wide variety of products, from clothing and home goods to electronics and toys, making it a one-stop destination for all my needs. The layout was well-organized, and I was able to easily find what I was looking for. The staff members were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I appreciated their assistance in locating specific items and answering my questions about different products. The checkout process was smooth, and I didn't have to wait long in line. One of the highlights was the affordable pricing at Kmart. I was able to find quality products at great prices, which was a big plus for my budget. The store also had a clean and tidy atmosphere, adding to the overall pleasant shopping experience. I left the Kmart in Penrith feeling satisfied with my purchases and the service I received. It's definitely a store I'll be visiting again in the future for my shopping needs.

  • Just Being Honest

I thought I had been to some bad Kmart stores but this one is single handily the worst. The store is an absolute mess. Stock is everywhere. The aisles are cluttered and extremely hard to navigate. I thought that was bad but then I had to deal with the staff. I do not like being treated like a thief. Yes it’s fair enough they count how many items you have before trying them on. That’s fair for one staff member not two and then double counting them after you have tried them on. Please. I’m not that desperate to steal any of your clothing. Next I put them back on a random rack and a young girl asked did I not want these. I said no and continued walking. I could her mouthing off complaining I should have put them back myself. Umm no. I could have but I wanted to get out of the shop. That’s your job. That’s what your paid to do. So in my opinion I just don’t recommend this shop and I’m more that certain tone r return here again.

  • Phillip Doran

I went in a rare Kmart tip to buy a charger, I specifically made sure to check this stores stock of the charger online right before travelling down to the store. I waited for upwards of 10 minutes in a line at the service desk at the back of the shop to be told by an employee that although the item was in stock it was likely still on a pallet out the back. The worker was polite and attempted to help me find an alternative however there weren’t any. This isn’t that employees fault, however it is highly annoying to have travelled by car, and waited in line only to leave empty handed. I would not have wasted my time if the website was more clear about whether an item is actually available for purchase rather than just in stock yet potentially unattainable. I recommend that you always make a phone call if you’re not sure whether the store will actually have what you require.

Dealt with the biggest Karen today HAHAHAH, spent $300 on items and and then $50 on pillows, the man at the cashier didn’t give us a docket for the pillows but we had the receipt for the $300 worth of product. We made our way to the exit where the staff check bags and receipts. I seen MULTIPLE PEOPLE walk past the staff with full trolleys and this KAREN did not ask one of them for their docket, we voluntarily holding out our receipts so we could leave and she thinks it’s okay to not only go through my trolley but my pram and try to open the pillows asking where the receipt is, I told her to hold on while I pull up my bank statements to show her that I made two purchases. The whole of 5 minutes sis was being so rude but the moment the proof came she lowered that attitude real quick like why tf would I want to STEAL 4 pillows after spending that much

  • Meltdown By Kyle

What you would expect from most Kmart stores. The only thing I would say is that there are rarely any customer service reps around the store should you need any help. The store is large and is a bit of a maze. The one thing that was an absolute mess was the click and collect counter. There was a line of about 15 people with trolleys which obviously blocked the way for other people. There were only 2 poor people at the registers and it seemed to take forever for them to be able to find even the smallest orders. Meanwhile there were spare staff nearby stacking trolleys of stock when they could have been helping. People were being quite rude to the two employees who were only trying to do their best with what they had.

  • Paul Casson

Firstly there's no disabled trolley and when I asked for help at the front of the store, I was told by a very rude person that they don't have any instructions to help the disabled, the store isn't set up for that and she couldn't leave her post to help. There are virtually no floor staff, to help in the various sections and I had to ask other customers for assistance. Next, I bought a pair of beige, suede, men's work boots and the tag said $49 but I got charged $55 at the check out. I would advise paying close attention to the scanner at the checkout. Avoid if you are disabled or may need assistance with goods. A miserable place to shop with miserable staff.

  • hailthefury

Store always cluttered with cage trolleys filling aisles, not big enough walk ways for the amount of prams and shopping trolleys. Can't seem to ever visit without being triggered by parents who ignore their screaming babies who clearly need attention which is the main reason I try to avoid going here. Ridiculous they had no Christmas trees in stock, seems like something that should be kept on top of at this time of year. (found one at Target) Clothing is mostly very poor quality with minimal nice designs for women and children available. Good for cheap basics like singlets, socks, undies, some partywear and stuff for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.

Went to buy Bushland Xmas glasses so I called in on to Kmart Penrith on way to work just after 6 am Label on shelf but no stock trolleys of Xmas stock to be packed onto shelves so asked a staff member to look if stock available Yes but proberly out back in store room but no offer to go and look. I revisted store on way home 1 pm still no stock on shelf and trolleys I saw this morning still full of stock to be put on shelves Else store reasonable tidy when I checked stock levels via KMart website no stock was showing yet night before stock available Catalogue stated bushland glasses stock available from 4/11 yet none on shelves A tad disappointed

  • Leslie Tully

This is a good site to visit as they are open 24hrs a day. Tricky to find the entry at times, as during the night they open the side door near the carpak to the store, and than in the am hrs need to go in the main entry inside the shopping centre. But still a decent place to shop for most items you need from all things personal, household, clothing, work wear, electronics and everything in between. Good conditions and always you can find a bargain in store, just have to look or know what you want. If you liked my review give me a tick on the blue hand and help me improve my google local guide experience, please and thankyou...

  • Pete Murphy

EDIT: They now have a new supplier, Anko brand, not the best quality, but price reflects this. The shelves are now Fuller, but product quality is a hit and a miss. Woeful experience. Not one thing I needed in stock. Empty shelves with "Temporarily unavailable" in almost every department. Had to search for a staff member for assistance but would have been better off talking to a stuffed animal in the toy department (except they'd probably be temporarily unavailable too) Why open 24/7 when you have no stock to sell!?! Get a load of all the empty shelves in the photos.

  • Mike's Man Cave

Extremely poor customer service, started with extremely limited change rooms and no change room attendant to be seen while people were lined up, so I tried the items on in the store. Then when I went to check out there was not a single register open in the entire store, I was forced to scan my products and scanner kept malfunctioning, attendant got annoyed repeatedly resetting the machine for almost every single item. Rude, lazy, unhelpful staff and store had a general abandoned appearance with stock all over the floor.

  • India

no book section, no snack section, rubbish lego section, its difficult to find anything and is kind of a mess. layout is terrible and unintuitive. there might have been a book section and snack section but would never have been able to find it because its so hard to navigate. u can't see anything cause the shelves are too tall. plus its wayy too busy at 9.30pm at night. parking spots are too narrow and no one here knows how to park not like Coles. take some notes from Coles its very neat and easy to navigate

  • S R

It's the busiest store in Australia atleast that's what their staff claim. Collection is good for most categories and stuff is always available except for Baby section which is sporadic and some items may disappear off the shelves and take more than a few weeks to get restocked. The best part of this store is that it's 24x7 and the staff is very helpful even at 02am if there is a diaper crisis and you're sleep walking inside the store. Ample free parking with 2 rows of covered parking available.

  • Katy Ivy

The middle aged lady at the change room from my memory name starting with b from what I remember , absolutely atrocious. Walked in with an item to try, walked back out only to be felt like a thief!!!! Being questioned left right and centre being made to feel uncomfortable and asked ‘ how Are you going to pay for this item’ with my wallet that’s how!! I will never step foot back into this place again. I hope management realises it’s not okay to bombard and intimidate people , truly disgusted.

  • Pearl Riiia

Lady at the entrance to the store demanded she looked through every single shopping bag i had & asked to move things around in my pram to see if I had stolen anything. Regardless of the receipt I showed her. She also asked me about my daughters toy (we brought from home) asking if it belongs to the store. (Toy was clearly used & abit dirty) other than that the store is great, just not much stock. Even onlookers were shaking their heads asking if I was okay.

  • Simon Harriott (Que)

24 hour trading and lots of great things at incredibly low prices. Great deals scattered throughout the store. Keep an eye out for a bargain! Plenty of fantastic, helpful, staff who are always more than happy to help whenever possible. Huge selection of products and lines as well as sizes. Always well stocked. Christmas is, as everywhere else, a rediculously busy time so early morning or late night shopping is advisable unless you want to battle the crowds.

  • Jarrad John Farrugia

Not a great experience. Online site states that the mixed pack of sharpies are in stock. Drive down to find that not only was it not in shelf. The assistant stated it wasn't in stock if it wasn't on the shelf. He also proceeded to state that it happens all the time and there was nothing he could do. However according to your online site I am site able to complete a click and collect for Penrith and have to wait the 24 hours to pick it up.

  • Linda Yates

I would like to shout out to the awesome customer service out at Kmart Penrith - Linda,Deb and a few other names I didn't get but thankyou to you also. Not forgetting Shannon ( who sounded very busy on the phone call, but still calmly and satisfactorily)answered my call and directed me in the right direction. I want to say Thankyou Kmart - Penrith & Headoffice - give your staff a raise they deserve it 11:11am - 6/7/21

  • Jessica Davys

If my husband could, pretty sure he'd ban me from this store. I love that it's 24-7. Always finding reason to go at all times of the day and night. Love their amazing prices. They have many accessible self serve check points. Awesome for quick in and out shopping (which never happens to be a quick in and out). you go in for one item come out with 100's. Hence why the hubby would love to bar me hahahaha.

  • Anonymous

I recently visited Kmart Penrith (09/07). The store was very busy and the lines were long at all checkouts. Once I finally made it to the self serve I was greeted by a lovely young gentleman by the name of Byron. He was very busy, but ensured everyone had a quick checkout. He was very polite and accommodating. Also worth mentioning, he had a lovely cologne, that some other workers lack. Thank you Byron.

  • Edward and Michele Cox

Help at checkout too busy chatting, no trolleys, not one. Rude. Horrible store. Once upon a time I preferred it. No wonder on-line has taken off. And no they can't blame that for their demise. We just want some people to talk to, some service, because that is why you go into the shop. When you find someone, they're rude, and begrudge the time your taking, and know nothing of their stock. Lack of stock.

  • Paula DEHOMBRE

From being unable to find one floor person to ask a question, I tried calling the store in hope of getting some help. The phone rang out , twice. After 20 minutes of trying to find where the product was located, I found a staff member to ask only to be told that the product I wanted was ' over there' before darting through a doorway. I never did find my product 'over there' and left empty handed.

  • Christopher Yardin

This store has been here forever. But I am knocking two stars off for the following reasons: 1. Every time I have been the sections of the store that I have been to have half empty shelves with stock in disarray. 2. The mall location for this store needs a significant upgrade, and it is not very welcoming. Compared to some of the other Kmarts that I shop at frequently, this store needs a refresh.

  • Mark Minnis

15 mins (and counting) in line. 1 person on cashier at 1pm... Have a ticket item that needs to be retrieved from the dock. Cashier staff have no idea what to do with. They sent someone to check the selves and she returned with two different products and said they didn't have any more. They gave me the ticket back so trying the service desk now. Success. 50 mins to pick up a single item...

  • rhonda hartshorne

Good place to shop, just don't order delivery service. My order took about three weeks to arrive, in two different deliveries a nd second delivery arrived broken. Had to go back and exchange personally otherwise would have taken about another month. This meant I had to bus it and walk about half hour to get there. What's the point of delivery service when it's a as bad as this.

  • Jacqueline Morris

A lot of under stocked, very untidy shelves. Customer lines at all checkouts had at least 30 people waiting. I made the mistake of lining up to be served by a real person. After 15 minutes in line I realised that there were only two cashiers working! I was however served by a lovely girl. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon & I guess everyone decided to go shopping!

  • CRAZY

As always you got to love a kmart friend, helpful staff what ever you need a kmart will have it no let down hear in kmart Penrith open late heaps of parking good security good prices fast and easy checkout lay-bys if needed laters games For all consoles , laters items clean and easy to find Afterpay friendly good location with good shops inside good work to all

  • Amitava Das

Ordered a vacuum cleaner online with stocks showing available in every major store. Two days later my order was cancelled stating "warehouse stock not available"!! I can still see stocks available, not sure why they cancelled my order! Had a similar experience in the past as well. They should upgrade the website to show the live stock! Poor service Kmart!! :(

  • Farah Mae

I was shopping here with my friend and we were browsing through Beauty and Cosmetics. We noticed how beautifully set up this section was and have never seen it this clean at any other store. We would like to commend Tracy for her diligence and commitment to service. Thank you Kmart, particularly to staff like Tracy, who make our experience a pleasant one.

  • julian higginson

Terrible. Made a two hour trip out of my day to buy some things showing as available in store here... When I get to the store, none of the things are available. Giant waste of time. At least target was nearby so I drove there and bought what I needed. It's a sad day for Kmart when the best thing about their store is it's not too far away from target...

  • Angelica Ivy

Amazing to have a 24/7 stores like Kmart open! Only downside is that the staff are all young girls wanting to stand in a group and gossip, I don't mind if you chat amongst yourself but don't forget there are customer's! I had to yell at one to get her to shut up and help me! Oh and low stock drives me nuts not having stuff that it says it does on line

  • carl cooper

Plenty parking easy access to centre and shops. Toilets in centre eatery which caters for wide variety of food. This visit to Kmart was short of service searched around for a staff member for ten minutes ended up having to take item to help desk to enquire about article. I asked a staff member where the staff were was told Kmart had cut back on staff.

  • Amy Young

I needed to use a ATM as it was late 1AM and my friend had broken down and needed money transferred. Secruity had closed off the area I needed and i was not allowed it. Went into Kmart on the off chance they could help. Spoke with Cathy and Michelle who bent over backwards to help me. These wonder ladies from Night Crew are fabulous. Thanks again!!

  • Imran Khan

staff are not very helpful at all. there are alot of retailers in this business maybe train the staff to assist customers rather than shrug and point in a general direction and say that way. Hey if big w can do it surely you Guys can help your customers or you will lise them and your business will shut down and those unhelpful staff out of jobs.

  • Bailey Jade

The staff are unhelpful and rude. I watched a poor customer get so embarrassed at self checkout, the staff member made some really grumpy and rude comments when the poor lady just needed help from her. Store is also a total mess. The only upside is that the management and SOME staff are very kind and nice enough to give you help where required.

  • Steve Head (Elvis)

I went to kmart today and I bought $10 robux at self service and before I bought it the worker there just kept pressing the buttons and did not even look at what he was pressing. So when I got home and typed the code in the code wasn't working I tried like 9 times to type the code in and still didn't work.such poor service and workers now

  • Dennice Bargh

Interesting, first could not find what I went in for, then went looking for someone to ask for help that took some time. Finally a nice young man by the name of Bryce helped by sending me to the Lay-by area to find what I wanted they went off and found the item still in storage. I believe you need to be a detective going in this store.

  • Rebecca Ardesch

Prices are great, but it's very hard to find certain sizes. I hate how things aren't in one spot, ie kids shoes. Manchester is separated in 2 areas also. Makes things awfully confusing, and as a disabled person I don't like having to walk from one side of the store, to the other. Parking is always crazy in the disabled spots too.

  • Rosada Archibald

I actually like Kmart but haven't been for quite some time because it's quite a distance from where I live. The prices and range of goods is great but it could do with better signage as I found it difficult to find what I wanted. Also, have never been a fan of self-service checkouts and that seemed to be all that was available.

  • Asayo A

I had a bad experience of Click and Collect. There was huge queue to get a Click and Collect order and didn't move at all. Just grab what i need and pay was faster. So I cancelled Click and collect order and collected by myself and paid. Wasted time to place the order but cancellation was amazingly easy. I was impressed …

  • Gil Lockrey

Allways good for just about everything tho Super busy most days. Didn't like having to wait 20minutes at the laybuy counter to ask for help with the photo print section nearby. Otherwise it saves time running around looking for quality gifts and homewheres . my wife , daughter and Granddaughter love the shopping adventure.

  • Paula “Paula Sydney” Sydney

Great store for so many things, besides clothes. Great deals on pet stuff, kitchen stuff, bathroom and homewares. I could spend a couple hours in here. I love the layout and look of the store since they redecorated. It's so neat and clean and well kept. Lots of friendly staff and just a great store for Penrith.

  • Vicki Ballantyne

I dont hate always my fav worked for them for13 years. Penrith store needs a wake up. 1 girl on registers Saturday raining in a huge popular store no supervisors or staff over 25. They were lost. Stock untidy and shelves empty a lot not just saturday. Pick up your game people. Supervise lead very disappointing

  • Sam Hobby

Very crowded aisles. Consistently has boxes of stock blocking pathways. Staffing is minimal. Self service registers are often out of service. One of, if not the worst Kmart I have ever been to. 24hr opening hours are great, but does not make up for the state of the store itself. Usually dirty floors.

  • Sam Cartwright

Always a great place for bargains. Helpful staff most of the time. This is one of the better Kmart's, although lay by photo/layby section needs more staff at peak times. There is only a really small section of shaded carpark which fills up very quickly, especially Wednesday when the markets are on.

  • Eldar Aliev

Great store they has a full range of stock, opened 24/7, had plenty of friendly staff to help you if you need. The store is in a shopping mall facility, so has loads of free parking and is accessible for people with wheelchairs. There is also a Foodcourt nearby with a standard selection of food.

  • Suk kyu Ryu

Kmart Coles Fruit Shop Butcher Glasses Shoes Clothing Store Won Dollar Shop in Penrith Napian Village. Parking is convenient and people are not crowded, so it is a convenient place to shop and there is a food court where you can do simple shopping with your family and have food and coffee.

  • T R

As most people who live close to a Kmart, I never walk out empty handed. Lovely products, most are reasonably priced. They have real people at checkouts for when you have a full trolley. The only downfall with this store are the trolleys; old, oddly shaped, smaller than coles trolleys...

  • Emma B

The Kmart at Penrith (Nepean Village) has a very expansive selection of goods. They have bigger than usual sections for goods in comparison to other Kmarts in the area. I was disappointed though to find I couldn’t find a single item I needed, even though the website said they had stock.

  • Leigh Thompson

Went to kmart at Penrith for underwear, they only stock sizes small, medium and 3XL, whoever is ordering stock doesn't know what quantities are required for the majority of people, NOT good enough. I also tried online and they too didn't stock normal sizes, hopeless and incompetent!!!!

  • Sammie Y

Really disappointed with the way Kmart stores have been overrun but stock trolleys. If you can’t afford a warehouse don’t order so much. How can you sell stock on shelves if you can’t even access it due to the amount of trolleys located around the store. Embarrassing is all I can say!

  • Lyn Hamblin

I normally look forward to shopping at Kmart, but today to only have one person on the register is a bit rough. Not only for customers waiting, but for the young girl who apologised a number of times for taking so long. I'll still shop at Kmart though. I can usually find what I want.

  • Chris Mousley

Store is open 24 hours. It gets really busy and the merchandise can get thrown all over the floor in sections particularly women's shoes. Watch out for unsupervised kids who seem to run through the store unsupervised as there is no where to play and no parents around.

  • Louise Watson

Trolleys need recycling...and new ones needed. The current ones are old and stiff...But why are you still handing out plastic bags...its so wrong!!!! Make people bring their own or just make them put their stuff into trolley and then into car ....dont need bags!

  • No Name

Need to train your customer service staff at the checkout. Seems like nobody wants to serve customers. An older lady in particular behind the counter refused to serve and tells you to go around the automated checkout if you wanted to be served. Appalling

  • Courtney Wiles

Always really nice and clean but don't ever trust the sizes on the coat hangers I have left a couple of times after quickly grabbing something and once I get home realised the outfit was on the wrong coat hanger and I have something to big or small

  • monique ferguson

Needed one small item and Kobi was there to help! Took me to the item straight away and recommended the best one for what I needed. Brilliant staff member, he was so helpful and I will be coming back again soon just for his service. Thanks Kobi!

I buy all my clothes here, I am a Kmart kind a girl :) This is a 24hours kmart. Which is the best thing so whenever you feel like somethings down go for it staff seem happy and polite Convenience and comfort is important to me so I am a regular.

  • Cat D

Same day click and collect, got told only part ( the minor stuff) was available for collection. That afternoon, after picking it up, go past the section of my cancelled items, only to find them very much in stock! Can the staff be anymore lazy?

  • Jess moonshadow89

Was here today so many empty shelves came here hoping to get a few items because it's cheap and won't need a mortgage to purchase so many things blocking walkways staff just standing around talking worst kmart I've ever been to. Complete mess .

  • Danielle DDG

Another 24hr kmart store that doesn’t answer their phone..Poor customer service, looking forward to a big department store to be a significant game player which will force Kmart to pull their socks up & I know where I’ll be taking my money!!!

  • Fred Smith

Management needs to take control of this store, there are too many staff all over the floor getting in the road of customers and covering the stock with those big trolleys, and there are 3 people on the registers with a que across the shop.

  • Brooke Jones

Absolute worst store in the world for stock availability, even before the pandemic, the buyer doesn't know how to order the right amount of stock. It's never enjoyable absolutely ever in the 10 years living here to shop at Kmart Penrith.

  • Greg M (iTrooper)

I love that this Kmart is open 24/7, but I miss the days when the electronics section was bigger. There's no videos, games or things of that nature anymore :( Bring back the electronics section and compete better with Big W.

  • Ben Duncan

Always a good experience shopping here. The staff are helpful and friendly most of the time and the range is usually very good. They do have problems with stocking linens though and are usually fairly scarce on the shelves.

  • Oscar Too

I was giving birth in the changing rooms, and a worker named Charlise came and delivered my son! Then as I was walking out with my child, ninjas started attacking me and Charlise beat them all up! Will be returning soon.

  • Mick Harrison

24 hour shopping, with lots of parking. Large, bright and airy store. Shelves and racks are usually, but not always stacked, due to high traffic. If you can't find what you require, there are few staffies floating about.

  • Aizelle Santiago

A big shop of retail goods. You can get most of the things you need from kitchenwares to clothing, toys, recreations like simple camping gears, outdoor stuff, and small gadgets. I recommend this for your household needs.

  • Roxan Mina

- 24 hours ✅ - good parking ✅ - helpful and nice staff ✅ - cleanliness leaves more to be desired (lots of boxes lying around) ❌ - low on stock ❌ - long wait times to access customer services for return and exchange ❌

  • jeremy long

Poor customer service. I went I store I asked if I could order a product that your website indicates you have instock to only be told come back next week. When I said I live 30mins away I was told that's no good.

  • Tracey Clegg

Staff are friendly, my lower than 5 rating relates to the stock accessibility. Bare in mind its the busiest store in sydney from what ive been informed. Its a relatively clean store and is one of the larger ones.

  • Nikolai

I always dread coming here. Nothing is ever in stock and it's always a mess. The crowd it attracts is enough to make you a misanthrope. Parking is good in the evening but goodluck finding a space during the day!

  • Jasmine Sealtiel

Love kmart (like everyone else really) they do seem to always have things out of stock, in saying that items do get restocked quite frequently so just depends how often you want to shop, which I do regularly.

  • Pebbz 1981

Open 24 hours so its very convenient, sometimes its hard to find items you are after as they sell out a d the stock replacement is a tad slow but overall great place to go, clean, staff helpful, easy layout.

  • Michael Fisher

Fair range of products. Am not a fan of the layout of the store, seems as though it was designed to make it a longer trip to the front off the store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plentiful trading hours.

  • Kathryn Leigh

The shelf are always half empty do t have many bath mats there lucky to even have 1 there for example such a shame they just have stuff spread out everywhere to look like it's a big kmart when it's not.

  • James Watson

It's a Kmart. Seems like they don't do stock too often and the place is a mess, but sometimes you need a HDMI cable and a wholesale portion of gummy lollies at 2AM, and this Kmart is there for you.

  • Jorja McGrath

i was looking for directions to the change rooms as i bumped into a beautiful girl the goes by the name isla she led me to the change rooms she had such a positive attatude very good job !!!!!!!!!!

  • Danny Bhoy

I mean, who doesn't love a 24-hour Kmart? Staff usually pleasant and helpful, but I have found this particular store to be very inconsistent in terms of stocking items compared to others locally.

  • Rhys Mannering

Went to buy some things from a few sections this morning and over and over the phone keeps ringing over the loudspeaker like no-one wants to pick it up. Got a headache and left buying nothing.

  • Shannon MacMillan

The worst kmart in western Syd. Everything says in stock as per usual but is never in stock. Do not waste your time in going here. Take the extra time and drive to mt druitt. Always in stock.

  • Melanie Sullivan

Kmart has definitely changed over the years and for the better all products are fantastic. I love just walking around browsing they have so much stuff and it’s great quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Tom Williamson

So incompetent! Stuffed up my photo block and told me there would be a 5 minute wait while they fix it. 30 minutes later they come out with the photo blocks finally… Not good enough!

  • mick hope

Very poor customer service never seen before in any other kmart store. Dialled the number multiple times to find out stock availability but no one picked the phone. Very bad service

  • PANKAJ SAINI

Cheap n Best Prices. You can shop many daily need things. Crockery, Lenin, apparels, toys, sportswear, sports materialS, shoes, bicycles... List is so long. Go give it a try.

  • C Elliott

They NEVER answer their phones. Doesn’t matter what department you try, or what time of day. Have been trying to contact them over several days. Very poor customer service.

  • no no

The Manager Zoe who answered the phone is absolutely amazing. She helped me to place a hold even though it was 10:40pm. Thank you Zoe, you should be the CEO of Kmart. <3

  • Kathryn Hammond

Everyone loves Kmart. Good size store, usually well stocked. Wish they'd go back to normal checkouts at the front with REAL staff, not "forcing" you to use self serve.

  • Helen Cindy Saludo

Prices were reasonable. I just wish there were more check outs. Waited for long time and not good if you want to avoid prolonged time with chances of getting covid.

  • Graeme Jennings

Can't believe these guys have next to ZERO men's pyjamas. Active wear also looks like if was made for Nth Korea. Drab colours, boring styles. Lift your game Kmart

  • R A

Nice store with varieties of options but the items are not always available at the moment .. usually out of stock. Hope they will fill up the stocks frequently.

  • Rol Stratford

Purchase all my clothes here, at the right price-inexpensive. So many people seem to wander around the shop just filling in time gazing at so much, so xgeap

  • Lillian Hine

Returned a pair of jeans not worn with tickets still on. Didn't have docket and asked for credit so I could purchase other item. Staff very helpful. Lillian

  • Prezervor

Closed. Attempted to walk in at 4:15am. One door was locked and there was a fence with a sign that read (this gate is locked for a reason, do not enter)

  • B F

Have been fortunate the past few visits where there has been a decent amount of clothes stock & sizes, making bargain hunting all the more fun.
