If I could give -5 stars, I would. As customer service desk staffs are terrible and disgraceful . I went to buy a bicycle and when u asked them for help about traveling the big box from the bicycle to customer services area for assembling services and payment . They told u go and get a trolley and put the box on it. That’s big container doesn’t fit in the regular trolley. I have to ask other cashiers staffs for help n they were so lovely. At least i got to purchase with other staffs section but not CUSTOMER SERVICES staffs. CS staffs can’t help at all but also have attitude like they have to be there because their parents told them so. When we came back last night Friday, again-other the girl at customer services said u look for someone else. Helloooo, u should call someone else for us if u are at customer services section. You support to help your customers’s enquire. So we had to go and look again the boys at cashier area for help. I visited Kmart in Marrickville and the staffs are at customer services desk are totally helpful and lovely. The manager should look into your staffs specially they are at customer services area. They should know how to do their job properly for the sack of the term CUSTOMER SERVICES.

The MESSIEST Kmart in all of Sydney. Absolutely horrible. Products are scattered all over the floor and staff don’t pick them up. The products on the shelves are all over the place and messy. There are open boxes on the shelves and some just sitting on the floor. There are also dozens of trolleys sitting throughout the store in random places that block the aisles. These are not shopping trolleys, but the ones that Kmart use to restock the shelves. The staff just let them sit anywhere. Some parts of the store are completely inaccessible due to these random trolleys blocking the aisles. You have to see it to believe it. This Kmart has been like this for years, LONG before covid. This Kmart is also perpetually understocked. They seem to sell out of the good products very quickly and simply never replace them. Many of the shelves are just always bare. This has been the case for years. This is honestly the worst Kmart in Sydney, it seems management there just don’t care. I would avoid it at all costs. It gives all the Kmarts a bad name. They really need to improve how this place is run.

Attended this morning with the intention to purchase a large number of items which would not fit in a carry basket. However, only pay trolley's were available. As we didn't have any change using one of these trolley's was not an option. We asked the attendant on duty at the main entry if they had the larger type baskets on wheels available and were told - "they had been stolen and perhaps we may like to go and get a free trolley from another store". We ended up looking through the store and decided to move on because we can't physically carry everything we want to buy. This is very disappointing because we had checked the store's website for the items we intended to purchase and came along ready to make the purchases, but because they was no way we could carry them, we left without anything. A simple question - why cant't the door attendant have change to provide to customers who do not have $1 or $2 coins readily available when entering the store - our problem would have been resolved and Kmart would have benefited from our purchases.

Terrible service and discriminated staff to customers in self check out service. I was doing self checkout with my kids but on check out screen showed that we have to ask an assistance for help to proceed our check out. So my older son asked for help from a staff who looks like Filipino (called agita??) but she ignored him and went for other staff to help them around few minutes then in the meantimes there was a Caucasian customer called her for help so this Filipino staff served her first. I waved my hand to call her, but she looked so unhappy, I questioned her why we called you first but you didn’t come, going for your staff and Caucasian customer. This Filipino staff ignored me. my son couldn’t understand and asked her name, she said you to complain, go ahead. It’s not the first this staff doing their service like this. This staff is totally discrimination to whoever she doesn’t like. Don’t go for this shop. Terrible experience.

Had an encounter with a very sad staff named Bryce (old man) who was very rude. I’ve never seen someone like him. I was taking picture of homewares sending it to see if my sister wanted me to buy it. He scooted right past me and put it all away and when I said excuse me, I’m just taking photo and once I’m done I’ll put it back. He said you don’t come here to take photo. It’s very sad to see how people like him gets hired. I know Kmart is budget and customer service is not needed but that does not allow the staffs to be upright rude and disrespectful. Bryce, if you’re reading this. I’m so sorry your life is so miserable and you have the need to share the misery around. You’re an adult old man but learn to behave like one. And if you’re not bothered, stay home and take the money off the Centrelink. There’s no use of such misery around.

I love Kmart, all Kmarts are great. However, HATE the new check out design. I liked it before that if you wanted something else, all you had to do we step away and back again, then leave straight a away. Now, it's right in the middle of the store in maze like arrangement, so if you needed to step out and in again it's an extra 5 mins get through. What a hassle! It worked before people! Wish Kmart allowed public opinion a chance before messing things up for consumers. Also having a front desk to go to for exchange or refund just made life easier too. Would have been a 5/5 otherwise as staff are great, products and prices are great! But that arrangement lost 2 stars from me.

I have been to many Kmarts and BigWs. The one in Burwood is pretty much on par with the better ones. Clearance items are gone every time you go for them. After a rainy week, you are sure their iconic large dehumidifiers are totally gone. After Christmas shelves are a total mess, either they have unrelated items / wrong shelf labels, or they are just so very empty. The $4 wired mouse goes bad in about a week, and I got 3 before I gave up, and it is now $4.25. That said, staff there are nice and friendly. Checkout assistants are helpful. Click and Collect is fast. Refund works. They said you get what you pay for. In Kmart Burwood, you get more than that.

The phillopino women at the refund service desk has accused me of stealing my returns everytime I go to refund. She and the woman at the front door are so arrogant they think they own the store. This behaviour has affected my mental health and now I'm too scared to go back because I have a disability they push me around. Rightfully I can claim for what t gf ey have done to me mentally. I have been a customer at Kmart for 40 years and these two miserable moles have made me not want to go there. It's daunting. They are duscrinating me and now I can't go to my local store. This is the full time day staff at the front door and service desk.

K mart looses my respect because of the employee they put on the counter where we scan and pay, she was a lady with glasses being assistance today May 20 at about 7 pm, she is the rudest employee I have ever seen who threw our stuff after she scan it for us because we needed assistance to manage system to scan item. Literally, I have no idea how those people without manners get job at place like K mart. Due to other people around me I didn't reacted anything. I was carrying three 60L boxes, walked through the lane to the cashier, there were no one in the queue, and no staff serving at the queue, so I walked forward to check any self check out machines available, however they were all closed. The staff just opened the cashier on my left hand side and waved to queue "next please", I said 'can I pay here?', the staff said the people in the back waited in the queue first@@ ? I just walked through the queue with three big boxes, I don't think I will miss out three adults there with a big trolley. Is it because I stepped forward to check any self check outs available so I was not in the queue?

Was closing in five minutes. I was almost grabing one last thing. And the guy at the gate talks in a resist way says if you don't walk now I will call security. I never heard such thing in my all years in Australia. Many where polite. I am sure if any white skin was there in my place, he will not dare to say that. As he is a teenager I will see it as managers fault. I admit it is a good place for many options with cheaper price. But... Anyways, Kmart will not bother about any review as it doest affect its sale anyway unlike the other shops. What can I do other than posting a review : ( Pretty upsetting. 2Nov2022.

The only convenience of this one is that it is inside a Westfield but the store is kept terribly. There is never stock, everything is thrown around everywhere and the new arrivals are never there... Compared to other kmarts this one looks terrible. It used to be my local one but after many unsuccessful trips to try to find what I need, I just go to another one somewhere else. Also if that was my store I would be ashamed of the conditions it is in. I understand staff shortages and everything but the other stores don't seem effected by it, just this one. Please do better because I love kmart

I come to the store for a two dollar product (one quantity), they tell me i have to do click and collect. I done the click and collect, I ask them after 15 minutes if it's ready and they say no come back tomorrow this was in the afternoon. So you're telling me I have to wait 12 hours for a staff member to bring me a little item.. It's a joke the lady didn't even have any respect and just walked away. This isn't retail. You're not above the customer, stop sitting around and do your job. At my store if management found a staff member acting like this, there would be consequences.

I have been to burwood kmart today overall with the shopping it was excellent exp as i got each and everything which i wanted but the lady who served me at the counter was not good as she was bit rude and moreover i told her i have flybuys card she scanned it but i think it didn’t went through in their system and she did not bother to check as well on the screen and i spent more than 300$ but in return i got 0 points as i checked in my app when i returned home so overall staff should be more careful about it

I'm a bit slow with writing a review that happened to me a few weeks ago, but the Burwood Kmart team do not have that problem. Very attentive and quick in helping with my bean bag situation. Special shout out to Noah who went up and beyond in helping me getting bean bag beans when there weren't on the shelves but at the back. My party was saved because of his caring nature. He was surprised at my appreciation which was shocking. If everyone could be nicer to retail staff that would be great.

Thursday, April 27 @ 12:10pm. Dear Manager, regarding the Maori/Pacific Islander at the payment/checkout. I approached this woman to request assistance (she wasn't engaged with any customers). Before I had the opportunity to request service, the woman rose her open palm up and said "WAIT!" I'm not accustomed to be herded like livestock or spoken to in such an insolent, disrespectful manner. I suggest this woman be: 1, retrained 2, be instructed to put a smile on her sour, unfriendly face.

Never answer the phone. Store trading hours are different on the recording to the Kmart website. Turned up on a Friday night at 10:30pm and they were closed, website says 11:59pm. Received a notice that my click-and-collect was ready to be picked up on Sunday, website says they are closed on Sunday. Tried repeatedly to call to confirm their trading hours but no one answers the phone. Surely having clear trading hours is a basic need for any business, get it together.

I am giving this 5 star review because of the excellent customer service I just recieved at Burwood Kmart in Burwood Westfield. Jasmine was at the door greeting and checking receipts. She was very friendly and professional when I entered the store and I asked her for a product and she directed me clearly straight to the product I was looking for. She is one to watch and will be very successful, and you should give her every opportunity in your organisation.

Unfortunately I can’t rate lower than 1. Horrible customer service I went in to purchase 3 piece cookware set, which showed available stock at Burwood store. The staff member told me “what’s on the website and what’s in our store are 3 different things” his name starts with B.. I made the trip following recent hip surgery, was treated as a joke. Kmart needs to update there website so customers won’t be inconvenienced. I think I’m going downstairs to target.

Went to returns counter, saw 5 staff behind counter with only 1 serving customers. Asked if anyone of the 4 could help. Completely ignored. In meantime more customers waiting. 4 staff then left counter without looking at customers. No service whatsoever. Worst Kmart in Australia. Untidy, poor layout, shelves often empty or untidy. Compared to other stores Burwood has no pride in its store, which flows through to the way staff ignore their customers.

Eva the customer service manager and her assistant kept on cutting me off while i was talking and explaining why i was returning a Mini table tennis table, that did not say on the box that it was a MINI table. If i had that attitude at my workplace, i would have been fired on the spot. I did not keep my receipt because to me the table was a normal size tennis table. Kmart, some of your staff really need proper customer service training.

Unfortunately they lost my film! Despite receiving my negatives 2 weeks ago, it’s been 6 weeks since two girls helped me out in filling out the form to develop my film. They were vague about what happens and just said they would call me when it’s ready however I didn’t receive the receipt I was supposed to have to bring back as another staff member informed me today on the phone. Just a warning, don’t develop your film at Kmart.

its a yes from me. they let me ride the bikes around all the store (yes, even the lingerie section). Theo even taught me how to ride a bike! Safe to say I don't need those training wheels anymore. Thanks Theo! Kmart burwood is so hospitable, I would pay rent if they let me. I then stumbled across Kmart Burwood again a couple months later where the staff helped me birth my baby. Thanks to said baby, I now have $200 store credit.

I brought my little chihuahua to Kmart. His still a baby like 1 kg.I put him in my bag not on a lead.I went to the checkout and a Indian guy around his teenagers year who works at Kmart says no animals, you can't go into this store. Get out! I've been to Kmart with my dog many times staff members have been very nice to me and my dog. When he finish checking out my dog bed i bought he threw it to me! What a nice staff member!

Terrible customer service. This is the only store in the last 10 years I've been asked to show a receipt and it was checked against each item to make sure if I didn't steal anythibg. This Asian lady was so rude to me and started to yell at me while I was trying to find a receipt. Are you for real?Horrible layout. Empty shelves. Through registers are in the middle of the store. There was an Asian lady at the exit on her phone. So while enter she is on her phone with a catalogue on top trying to hide it. On exit we are required to showour receipt. The lady has very bad customer service. Usually its pleasant to shop here. It was a terrible experience. I will be going to Ashfield in the future as the staff are pleasant on entry and exit..

The click and collect service is rather ordinary. They suggest that you can do collect from the front of the store, but when you arrive they direct you to the service desk. Then they can't use the code that you're given to collect the goods, you have to use the order number. It would be nice if they were either honest about how it works, or actually properly implemented the system that they are offering.

One of the best Kmart even been, a very nice Aussie guy greet me at the door, give directions and help fast, with a wonderful positive vibe. This have made my day better. Not lots of people who willing to do their job in their peak performance, but this guy change all my perception of shopping. I ordered some photo magnets and they were cut really sloppy. I asked the guy (with the Eminem 1998 hair) at the printing station to trim the edges a little bit. He fixed it asap and was super nice and apologetic about it. Attitude is everything. He was very sweet and helpful though it wasn't his mistake. One of the worst Kmart stores I have ever been to. Item availability is always a challenge. Even some of the basic items such as door mats, knives etc. are never in stock. Very poorly staffed. No one is ever available to help. The overall organisation of the store is very poor. It's very hard to find items on the floor. Even staff has no idea where to find them.

As someone with sensory issues, I came here later in the evening (8:30 PM) in order to avoid stressful and overwhelming crowds, however, it turns out that the fitting rooms are closed during times of lower traffic, meaning that I am unable to shop for clothes here without subjecting myself to serious sensory discomfort. This is very disappointing.

The philipino lady assisting at self service checkout doesn’t have a clue about how to talk or behave with the customer (rude af). She definitely shouldn’t be handed a customer service role. I'm pretty shocked at the customer service in this Kmart, I just asked if they have any stock available. The worker pushed me away by telling me to go back to where I found it or go to another Kmart. Its quite a good store when it comes to its prices and items, yet I ordered a click and collect order before 12 pm yet it took 3 days to be ready. I tried to call up about my order yet no one answered the phone, I was ringing for about 2 hours in total. I understand that they are very busy, yet they should make time to answer their phones.

Good, modern store with the best range in the area. I was looking for a few items listed online and two staff members went above and beyond to try and help me. Really super late with the stuff. I ordered some stuffs for click and collect , thought it might be quicker than delivery but it was just waste of time. Great department store with really good deals on everything you could think of. Customer service could be a lot better as there were several products I was trying to find and no one was around to help me out. As a whole I would definitely recommend going there since it is cheaper than most alternative stores.

The Make Up/Beauty Department at Kmart Burwood is the filthiest and dirtiest one of all the kmart stores as it looks like a storm went through it. it has never ever looks clean and tidy ever and I can't buy what I want there as I am scared I will get an infection or covid from touching anything there yuck!!!

Kmart is always a great shopping experience, I am able to pickup exactly what I need at a great price. This Kmart in particular always has a good amount of stock and replenishes stock quite quickly when compared to other Kmart stores.

Lots of empty shelves. Didn't like the new layout of the store but the layout prior to the changes was so much better. The registers are in the middle of the store which makes no sense.

Didn’t have stock of an item I was after, but the absolute legend of a greeter made up for it. Offered to help every customer entering and wished everyone a great day on the way out.

This is the kmart that I always try to avoid, store manager got excellent skills in maintaining stocks. Whatever you need to buy, always that is out of stock. Better visit Ashfield.

Excellent place to shop. A variety of show rooms are there. There are places where children can play. Access to every one is easy. Good place to have fun with the family.

Not a bad deflection of items. A bit messy at times I find as in I guess customers mess up the shop and they don’t have enough staffs to come through and clean it up.

Exchange and refund policy is great here. Use Google Pay here, even with Amex. EFTPOS tap and pay works too. Katie from print services could be friendlier.
