I went into your store yesterday to purchase a few bulk items. I needed a trolley due to these items and had my 13 month old with me. Upon arriving at your store, I noticed your trolleys were locked. I checked if I had a gold coin or similar that could be used to unlock a trolley, but I didn't have anything. I went and asked the man at the door if he could please unlock a trolley for me to use as I needed to purchase a few bulk items and was unable to do so while carrying my child. He said, "No, I can't unlock one," so I asked him who could? He directed me to another man that was working at the self serve check outs. I managed to get his attention and asked if he could please unlock a trolley due to needing to purchase bulk items and being unable to do so while carrying a child. He also refused and said I would need to line up at a register that had about 10/15 people already waiting at to be served to withdraw money (no minimum spend apparently) and get a gold coin that way. I find it hard to believe that if I'm about to purchase over $100 worth of goods from your store, you can't unlock a trolley for me to use!! I ended up leaving the store and managed to find a trolley elsewhere. When returning to the store to purchase my items, I needed to price check one of them. I went to three separate price checking points in store, and none of them worked! It's disgusting to think that a mother and her child are refused a trolley when trying to purchase items from your store. Not to mention the fact that there was no trolley return area to be seen in the carpark below your store, so if I needed to get my gold coin back I would have needed to unpack my purchases into the car and then returned the trolley back instore to retrieve my money- pathetic!

I went to this store today to buy stuffs for a new house. As I needed to buy a lot of household, Trolley was over full. I only saw self check out line to check out. Person serving line was totally closed. I realised that I needed another trolley to collect scanned items. As I have no more coin left to get another trolley, I approach a staff who was standing nearby , the staffs also got a trolley with few junks inside. She did not let me use that trolley but suggested me to go and get another trolley. I explained to her that I have no more coin. She told me rudely that I can put my stuffs on the floor after scanning. So then I started emptying my trolley and scanned all my item. When bagging area full, I transferred them to my trolley. Then the warning message said “wait for the staff” . It kept going few times as the bagging area was small and quickly filled up. The staffs became impatient with me as she has to come and scan her card a couple of times. I became frustrated, I then suggested the staff to scan all items for me with her key ( to avoid warning message) She said I need to do another thing . I was so disappointed with such poor customer service and their ignorance. I told her that I would make a complaint . Only then she came and scanned with her key till finished. My Message for the management is you should let some customers, (who bought a lot)to go through with staff assisting line ( on their request)

There was a old lady in Party section yesterday..really frustrated at her job. I was checking book week dresses for my kids and kids were quietly moving around. I accidentally checked some dresses near counter on trolley thinking they are also on sale..she said in a rude answer..can you not touch them...they are with missing items...I said ok may be I am wrong. Started looking again and my kids were just walking not even touching anything...she shouted at my daughter 7 and my son 2 years old and said to my daughter take him to your mother.very rudely....if she know I am mother why don't she say me directly. I talked to manager on site and she helped with dresses but old lady explanation was that baby was near sharp hangings and might hurt himself...in both situations if she is so caring...her speaking style was very very rude....and when asked explanation on top that it is child safety even if he was not near points shows she is so experienced managing her poor customer service. Please check video near 7:30-8:30 pm party section to see her real customer service. Now have a really bad memory of this place.

My recent experience with this store was rather disappointing. I had purchased a couple of dog beds online and opted to pick them up in person. However, upon bringing the items home, I was dismayed to discover that they were all dirty. It was clear that the staff had provided me with products that were far from being in a satisfactory condition. This situation was not only disheartening but also inconvenient, as I had to spend at least two hours of my time cleaning the dog beds thoroughly. This not only felt like a waste of my money but also my valuable time. In summary, the store's failure to provide clean and satisfactory products was a letdown in what should have been a straightforward transaction. I hope they improve their quality control to ensure that customers receive clean and pristine items as expected.

Online click and collect is awful. Even during non busy times of the year, its usually days between ordering online and then getting an email indicating the order is ready for pick up. By comparison, Kmart rouse hill and Stanhope both have click and collect orders ready within 24 hours. Further to this, Big W has now disabled the ability to phone the store directly to follow up anything, so thrre is no way to check if anything is in progress. The online system also consistently will say an item is in stock at the store, so you can order it for click and collect. Yet so many times, multiple items within the order are cancelled because they arent in stock. Meanwhile Big W gets to keep your money for another week while the refund processes.

Good place to shop around with reasonable prices. Very conveniently located with lots of parking too. The staff is very helpful. Lot of options to choose from for everything. Very helpful for families with lot of members to buy quality items at a reasonable price. It's a one stop shop, where you can buy clothes, shoes, cosmetics, toys, bedding, kitchen items, DVDs and plenty other things like confectionery and soft drinks too. All they need is more staff at the check outs as not everyone likes self serve check outs. Cost cutting is not everything and pls employ more staff. Lately they have stopped selling DVD's and I would really urge them to start selling them again.

Click and collect service is terrible. Have stock but no staff to collect it from back dock manager doesn't seem to care much except blanket sorry and excuses. Would never click and collect again... Had to cancel as they couldn't commit to their own policies and couldn't give me a definitive ETA. They are behind because of back to school items and only 1 staff member can work a forklift and they are sick so no one can get stock off pallets. I requested cancellation as who knows when I would get the item. Quicker to order online elsewhere. Unfortunately this is a consistent theme with big W rouse hill in regards to their customer service at the layby desk.

Where is the customer service? I spent 15 minutes trying to find someone to help me find a toy. I find a someone from the clothes department and she takes me to the service desk. The service desk tells me that there is no staff for the whole toy section. I also find out that a) the toy I'm trying to find is in the sport section, b) the item that is listed as in stock on the website is actually at the back of the store and not on the shelf. How can a national department store fail so badly at such basic store management. So thank Big W for wasting 1.5 hours of my life. Avoid like Big W like the plague.

Put a click and collect order in 2 days ago. Didn’t receive an email confirmation or anything. Went in store to see what was happening with it ? They told me it only came through at 1am that morning. I asked when it would be ready? They said maybe another 2-3 days, I grabbed a trolley picked my own stuff. The lady at the service desk was extremely rude about it all. Slammed all my stuff on the bench while packing it. She told me next time dont do an online order just come in and get it then go to the register down the front…

They have a good collection of items that stand true to their name "BigW". Located close to home, 5 mins away for anything urgent, what more do you need. Right from kids clothes to adults swim wear, toys to electronic devices, chocolates to cutlery and kitchen utensils, toiletries to nappies, car seats, picnic essentials, camping essentials, you can find everything here. They also have a separate party section where you can find all themed collections perfect for birthday parties for all ages.

Extremely disappointing experience. Went to the store twice in 3 days to see if my click and collect was ready and both times the answer is “we haven’t even started”. I click and collected this item because it was on sale and it is easier for me to just pick it up instead of getting it delivered. This morning they have refunded it because they cannot fulfil the order. Do not bother using click and collect from this store. It is an awful experience and the past reviews also reflect this.

I just had the worst experience. I was buying some undies and gym bra. I paid and walked away and the security alarm went off. They just jumped to me and said I might have something that I didn’t buy. Found out the security tag from undies weren’t removed. The 2 staff girls were just behind chit chatting when I was scanning the items. Instead of helping me or informing me that security tags should be removed. Please, train your staffs

Terrible staff assistance from person in charge of the toy department. Fantastic assistance from a guy in the technology department. He went out of his way to help me and did when the other person just said too bad we don't have them and refused to give me a raincheck when the other guy went out the back and found boxes of the toy in stock. Tried to complain about the first woman and totally got that they didn't care at all.

Not very helpful at all. I tried finding a book and I was told to go to service. Goes to service and the line was full! As much as I respect the workers, but I did not feel comfortable as an autistic man trying to find an activity book to soothe stress. Just I did not feel heard or listened to and I was quite overwhelmed and anxious! Will not be going back until they provide better service for their customers!!

Went to pick up a click and collect order and after waiting in store for 15 min for staff to find my order I was rudely told that the item is not in stock, despite it saying it was in stock when I ordered and paid for it online. Even now at the time of this review it still says it is in stock. Was not offered any support to check availability at other stores either. Will not be ordering through this store again

The Big W store in Rouse Hill Town Centre is nice and huge! The store is well stocked , well spaced and very arranged. It has a separate birthday section which makes it very easy to purchase everything related a birthday from balloons to decorations and costumes all at one place. The chocolate section is well stocked as well with good deals from time to time. Watch the catalog for exact discount information.

I will give them 2 stars as they’re always good with stock, 99% of the time they have everything but if it was not for that I’d give them -0. Click and collect system here is An absolute joke, they take forever I’m still waiting to be able to pick that one up and when you call they hang up. I also put through a lay buy online yesterday that I’m currently still waiting to be processed. Very disappointed.

I ordered a click and collect, picked up and came home to find the solid security tag that cannot be removed. I called and was asked to come into the store to remove the tag! Then what is the point?? I am working until Sunday night, and just cannot be bothered with parking and crowds. But they never take your call. Guess my grandchild will not be getting their gift. Very very disappointed and stressed.

The best Big W on Sydney North West. They have a great range for toys, gifts, clothing and general products. The new store looks amazing with more range for most products. Parking is mostly available in rouse Hill town centre during weekdays. Finding a parking can be an issue during weekends and holidays season. It's a great place to find a toy or a gift for kids. Looking forward to come back soon.

Did a direct to boot order. Waited for 20 minutes in the bay. Ended up having to go inside the store to get the order! The lady at the front of the store told me I had to go to the back of the store to collect the order to be then told it was to be picked up at the front of the store! I am 36 weeks pregnant and The order was 2x 100L storage boxes which I had to carry back to my car..

Website said product was available in store. Visit store, employee advises the stock is on a pallet so has to be ordered online and come and collect when we get a notification. Order online. Order accepted. Next day, PayPal refund, sorry they can't supply the product. (That says available in store on their website). Time wasted twice and would prefer to so elsewhere in future

Rouse Hill Big W has never disappointed me. They always have my orders picked and ready for collection earlier than the time I need. Always. I also find their staff extremely friendly. Always smiling and helpful. The direct to boot is the best service too. The store is neatly displayed. Spacious and bright lighting. Always a pleasant trip to there.

Absolutely frustrating! I ordered online some items that marked as available, after 6 days they refunded money with an email that items are not available. Then I bought the items for pick up and it shows they are available, after 5 days called the store to follow up and the customer service rudely said they are not available and hang off the phone!

It was one of my first jobs working here as a teenager back in 2008 BigW is my favourite place to go buy video games, cheap clothing, mostly cleaning products and toilet paper. I love being door greeted by Phil as I often come here regularly with my wife. Over the years this store has always provided me with good customer service.

Went to order helium balloon and the staff advised they are low on gas so reserving it for pre-orders and weekend adhoc orders so can't accept my order, what I didn't understood how my adhoc order on Friday morning was different to weekend adhoc order. I was able to get the balloons from Ronis so all sorted at the end.

The staff have definitely changed from what it was three years ago so the service is very poor. Very unhelpful and inconsiderate staff with very poor customer service. I miss the times when they hired high school students who were pleasant, more considerate and had better customer service

Nice clean store, not to helpful when it comes to stock a worker was asked if she was able to check for stock in a certain product and if any other store stocked or had said item in stock she walked away and didn't come back for over half and hour just to say she can't look.

40 minutes to receive my click and collect. Such a shame they were unstaffed, I understand they were really busy but it's not hard to block out times slots instead of 50 people rocking up a the 30 minute time slot. I counted around 30 customers during my 40 minute wait.

it's 2023 and cannot order inflatable balloons online or via phone. Must visit store, line up and istead of taking 5 mins on-line/phone it will take aprox 45mins to drive, park, line up, order, pay and get home. Otherwise Store is good!

Do not arrange direct to boot with rouse hill. I’ve been in my car waiting for 34 minutes so far. I’m now trying to call the store yet it is a 1300 number and it’s a 27-30 minute wait for help.
