Waited patiently for the pharmacist. I think her name was Marica, asked for a product then asked some advice on it, she was extremely condescending and left before I was finished. Came back to ask another question, she answered it but was also again condescending. I am from out of town and I ask technical questions from my Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy. They may seem like ignorant questions, but I am truly not ignorant about it at all, I ask because I like to know all the options. I don’t get sick often and I work in retail and get how horrible customers can be, and at no time was I ever rude or condescending towards her. I didn’t rush her or was demanding. Came off judgemental and extremely rude!! Shows what I get going to a Walmart Pharmacy.
I have been a customer of this pharmacy for a long while. Today they went above and beyond. My paediatrician continues to send my kids prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I’ve called the docs and the pharmacy for two days trying to get my daughter’s med filled. I’m sure the pharmacist remembered me from the previous exchanges. I mentioned they sent it to the wrong pharmacy and he called that pharmacy and got the prescription transferred. It was pleasant surprise. I appreciated that he did that without me thinking of it myself.
Nice people at the pharmacy. Kim, especially, is a very helpful pharmacist. Wait time for prescriptions is normally about 20 minutes, which I think is pretty typical for pharmacies. For less common prescriptions that may spoil, they will order it in for the next day. They will direct bill insurance. One of my prescriptions needed to be kept refrigerated. They wrapped it and gave me an ice pack for the trip home which was kind of them. Hard containers for disposing of sharps and needles are available at no charge.
On several occasions I have waited excessive times for prescriptions to be filled. The most frustrating was filling a needed antibiotic for my 1.5 year old son which I was told would be ready in 30 minutes, after returning 45 minutes later, they indicated it was going to be another 15 minutes - well it wasn't... 2 hours and 15 minutes after dropping off the prescription, I finally walked out with it. Looks as though other have experienced similar - wake up Walmart!
I went to the photo kiosk and put through all my photos and then I found out the price at the end which is 40 cents each. On the website it says 15 cents each, but I guess at the kiosk it is 40 cents, that's good to know after the fact. Next I went online to upload my pictures and I was at 250 and out of nowhere the site shut down and all of my pictures were lost. Now I have to start all over again. 3 hours of my life wasted.
Have been a customer of the pharmacy for over ten years. No longer. The new pharmacist they have hired is abysmal. Has no communication skills whatsoever and is herself is the personification of unhealthiness.
It's a good pharmacy with professional people. Time of waiting may be a bit longer than they say, but I experienced this in all other places.
No overnight parking and fines (enforced). Walmart doesn't own the parking lot apparently.. Too bad, Walmart will loose a lot of customers.
They make it so hard to transfer prescriptions, which is simply immoral! I will never register my prescriptions with them ever again.
The pharmacist, Marica Buljan, was rude and spoke to me in a condescending tone. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
Marica Buljan who is the pharmacist there spoke very rudely and denied equitable service.
Very kind and helpful
