This store has the worst customer service I ever had in any other Walgreens. Placed a store pickup order poster order online and received a notification email to inform that the order was ready to pick up yesterday. However, when I went to the store today, it turned out that they printed the portrait poster in landscape layout on the wrong material. The poster is cut off on the top and has some blank space on the left. I had to wait 40 minutes for them to fix the issue. I do understand that everyone makes mistakes, and it is normal when you have new employees. The problem is during the whole 40-minute waiting time, none of the employees apologized to me. The first lady only tried hard to make me believe it was my own fault, stating that it's no way for them to print the poster as the preview showing online (portrait). So what is the purpose of the online preview? The second lady seemed to know what happened. I could see my poster showing exactly the same as my online preview (portrait) on their computer while she searched my order in the system. She asked me to place the same order again so she could reprint the poster correctly. After I placed the second order, she worked on their computer and left while ignoring I was waiting at the counter for her updates. Later the first lady came back and started to assist other customers, ignoring that I was waiting there for 30+ minutes because of their mistake. I had to ask again for assistance while I was only 1-2 steps away from them the whole time. The employees here lack basic understanding and training in customer service. Store manager, please educate your employees to apologize to customers when they did something wrong. It is not right to try to blame their own mistakes on customers and treat them like this. The store itself is very neat and organized, but unfortunately the employees' attitude makes me not interested in shopping here.
This Walgreens is going the wrong direction. I've shopped at this location for years and recent developments have been disappointing. For one thing, their business hours have been drastically reduced. Now this store closes at 10pm seven nights a week. It used to be open much later (and at once point, overnight). I'm sure recent issues with the pandemic and labor availability have been contributing factors, but the Kroger across the street is open until 11pm. Of course, it could just be Walgreens corporate fattening their bottom line by cutting expenses. Those wanting Walgreens after 10pm now need to go to the store on Montrose. The other issue is the addition of a rather mean-faced security guard just inside the front door. I have noticed, at this location, that there's been a problem with panhandlers. But those issues have been during the night hours, not during the day when I've been there recently. Walgreens is presumably doing loss prevention with this, but this is something I'd expect in a ghetto part of the city, not near River Oaks. Kroger across the street also has uniformed security, but the presence isn't...unwelcoming. Walgreens, you've got work to do at this location. I lived in Chicago previously where Walgreens is headquartered and never saw things like this. Please right the ship!
I made a COVID 19 booster shot appointment at this Walgreens days ago only for them to call me an hour before my appointment saying they ran out of shots. I fully expect, and I don’t expect it is unreasonable for me to, that when I make an appointment that they will save or budget a shot for me. They also were not willing to coordinate with other Walgreens locations to see if they could squeeze me in or be at all accommodating. When I tried to call them back, they were unwilling to pick up, but when I personally went in to ask questions, staff members were not busy. They also had a very dismissive attitude, wishing me a good day before they finished answering all of my questions. Would highly encourage people to take their pharmaceutical needs elsewhere. There’s a Kroger right across the street.
Do not come here for developing photos they will never send your camera. Dropped off disposable camera two months ago they said it would take a month max to get them back, came back in a month and they said they had just sent it the day before and it would be another month. I decided to wait a second month, came back and cashier found the camera stuffed in a bag that still had not been sent out yet and said they would send it out soon so it would be a third month until I got it back. Cashier lady was nice and offered 50% for it, but I ended up having to take my camera somewhere else because they never sent it and I’m moving.
THOROUGHLY disappointed with Walgreens. 2 months ago the pharmacy treated me like an intravenous drug user when I asked for syringes (I have type 1 diabetes). An argument between the tech and myself lead to the pharmacist getting involved. I was treated with utter disrespect from the pharmacist! I've used their pharmacy for the duration of my disease (33 years and counting) and transferred my persriptions to HEB that same day because I refuse to be treated in such a manner. Then today, I needed a non -Rx and was yelled at by a cashier. I am DONE with this place. Never looking back. The worst.
These people have serious attitude problems. I don't see how they're going to accept my check three times that cleared but today for some reason the lady decided they can't take it. I don't understand how that works if they're hasn't been an issue with my check before other than my address being different. The cashier was already giving me a nasty look then got this lady I guess who is manager and she super has bad attitude. I wouldn't come back to this location except I work close. Probably just will go to kroger. I've never had this problem at any other locations. Get your act together
Booked my covid booster and flu shot together online. On arrival, I was told there's an issue with their system so I can't get my flu shot and they "don't accept walk-ins" (since when?) so I have to REschedule it separately online. I was then asked to fill out a form I had already filled out online. I didn't get my shot until 20 minutes after my appointment time - they wait for a queue of waiting people before giving them all vaccines one after another. During the wait, those of us in the queue were all asked by a homeless person to buy him all the food he was carrying. What a mess.
The reason I give this Walgreen location two stars is because the store itself is not bad, love the cosmetic area. The pharmacy I give 0 stars, one of the most unprofessional ones I have seen especially the morning crew. They have little knowledge of medication, the pharmacist has an attitude and the cashier likes to play with her breasts, keep lifting them up, this crew is what needs the uplift. On a side note, the pharmacists was late one morning, so did not get service till 15 past 8am, she apologies to the crew and gives the customers dirty looks.
I have been going to the Walgreens on west gray for over 30 plus years. The service now is terrible especially in the pharmacy. They do not know what they are doing. Repeated mistakes by the staff. The manager Tony is so arrogant and doesn’t want to accept blame for anything. I called Illinois home office to complain and never heard back from the store. I followed up with CS and they said the manager said it was resolved and he spoke with me. That is not true. This shows how incompetent Mr Tony is. I think it time to move to CVS.
I went in to purchase some Tylenol for my sister because she got the covid vaccine yesterday and was feeling under the weather. I wanted to be a good sister and also look for the summer Squishmallows. I couldn’t find any, so I found a employee to help me. Brandon was an outstanding member and searched and was able to find a butterfly stuffed animal she desperately wanted. She’s been looking for weeks and now I can give it to her. Thank you Brandon for going above and beyond to help me! - Katie
Staff was friendly but they have a 175$ Fee and I have aetna. Glad I checked in advance of care. AFC and memorial Herman urgent care is 20$. They said it was based on insurance and that they are a small company that is private unlike the other urgent care facilities. ??? The staff gets a good feedback, the rates for their “urgent care” and “not a sta Salome emergency center” like they call themselves get the lower star review for being 9 times more expensive.
One of the worst experiences I have had witg getting meds filled waited 20 minutes in line and another hour inside. Just got hot air and excuses on my insurance and discount card. Tomorrow dropping the hammer with major complaint to corporate. They are my IT client so the pharamacy manager has no clue. Go to CVS or another location. This has hapoened several times to me already only here. Complete mierda service and staff.
As a former retail manager for Target, I was impressed with the shiny floors and the merchandise presentation at this store. Products are front faced on the shelves and there are very few out of stocks. If I were the district manager, I'd bring the SMITs (Store Managers in Training) to this store to show them how a store should look. The store was well staffed and the store associates were friendly and helpful.
Upset at the fact that this location is 24'7 but the cashier refused to open the restrooms up. Although it was passed 2, I was willing to purchase items, but the cashier was rude. I did not come in with any temper, I came in politely asking where the restrooms were. He said they're closed. Because it was an emergency, all of the other locations were closed near by and I explained that to him, he said nope.
The Employee’s here don’t greet you when you come in, they all look like they can’t be bothered and don’t wanna be there. They are also quick to profile you for wearing a Jacket in the Cold weather. I’ve never walked into a Walgreens where an empty store doesn’t even acknowledge their Customers and profile them when they walk through the Doors. This place is a joke!
I just had a fabulous experience with a Pharmacist named Zena who was amazing. I had a major problem with one of my prescriptions that was somehow lost in transit. She helped me solve what I thought was going to be a major ordeal in about 2 minutes. Wow! So proud of all those like Zena who are on the front line to make sure the rest of us stay healthy. Huge praises!!!
Customer service is important and these people do a wonderful job. The drive thru can be very busy sometimes but it’s worth not having to go inside. I think that this location is pretty good especially for how busy it can get. I don’t like that sometimes the homeless hang around there but most of the time they don’t bother anyone.
If you getting low on a popular medication, order more. Don't wait until you run out knowing it's a popular prescription. Also still had to wait a while even though the medication was pre packaged and bottled already. Literally only needed a quick read of verification and put it in the bag. Probably took less than 5 min to do
This is the most incompetent pharmacy I’ve used. They didn’t fill prescriptions when my doctor called them in. He had to call them in twice. There is always a problem. I went for a scheduled COVID vaccine and when I arrived, they told me they had none available. I changed pharmacy from insistence of my doctor.
Avoid this location. Took them 4 hours to get my prescription of amoxicillin ready. Update: I was in a hurry for my kids medicine, and they told me that it was in stock after I checked. Turns out that was wrong and now I’m a day behind my daughters meds that could’ve been avoided if they weren’t dishonest.
Waited on hold for 20 minutes only for them to hang up on me. I wanted to check the status of my daughters prescription. So i had to drive her up there and check with her throwing up all over herself, only to find out they don’t have it. So save yourself and find somewhere else to fill your prescriptions.
0 STARS! HATE this pharmacy with a passion. The worst pharmacy staff ever. It takes me 45 min every time and there is always a mix up, even though the answering service calls to tell you that your prescription is ready. Unfortunately they're the only location to carry my medication. UGH.
I would give them 100 stars.... if that were possible. Albert, Tony and Zena have always gone beyond and above in service to me... and Lecoria, John and Debbie as well. I love these people and it is a blessing to know them. They are always helpful and personable and remember me.
I depend al this Walgreens Store for all medications, annual injections, and useful supplies. As a customer for 25 years, I have never been disappointed with the excellent attentive care by the pharmacy, or with the gracious assistance by the staff on the floor and in checkout.
Absolute worse Walgreens I’ve ever been to, period. They tell you dates when your prescription will be ready and then tell you it’s too soon. Terrible customer service as well. After I (eventually) get my last prescription I will never come back to this location. STAY AWAY
Great staff. Their staff is always willing to help out and answer questions. The store is clean and organized. They have a wide selection of items, including seasonal items. Their pharmacy is very friendly and quick. This location makes your shopping experience enjoyable.
Went in for a sore throat. Needed relief. Have had this before. Antibiotics cures it quickly. Nurse practitioner said it was a virus. No other cold or flue symptoms indicating a virus. Just a wild guess on her part. I will not go to this Walgreens again.
The level of incompetence at the pharmacy is MIND BLOWING. They consistently screw up, never fill things when they get them from the doctor, and have even given me someone else’s prescription...and then they’re rude!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!
I shop here 5 times a week and will always make this Walgreens my go to pharmacy. They have everything been coming here for 20 years and love it. Great Staff, great selection andeasy access. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice! …
I've been coming here for 5 years and the new lady pharmacist and crew need an attitude adjustment. If you are going to get pissed off about someone asking questions on a medication, probably should have picked another career.
Pharmacist Albert W have attitude. He told me I can call in a prescription but cannot write it at the window. Never heard this before. There was no reasoning with him. He needs some customer service training from CVS.
I placed a print order online, but they cancelled my order after a long way drive here, what were you doing when you received my order??? You can’t even email me before I arrived in your store?
The pharmacist refuses to fill any of my prescriptions that are not covered by my Medicare part D unless he talks to my provider. I’ve reported him to Medicare they say he can’t do that.
Their customer service is non-existent and the store manager allows employees to hang up on customers and treat them rudely. Pharmacy allows a technician to make uninformed decisions.
krystin was incredibly sweet and helpful. i came in ten minutes till closing and she still greeted me with a smile and helped me with a wine selection without my even having to ask
The red haired pony tail guy is very rude and would be better off working the commissary of a prison. I realize the hiring pool is limited, but you can do better than he.
This Walgreens location is actually very nice and clean! I’ve never had a bad experience here, now that I think about it. The service is ok and usually fast!
Worst pharmacy in Houston. Literally every employee I interacted with sucked terribly at their job and probably life too, which is why they work there.
Pharmacy is slow and hasn't been the most aware of client care. Clinic was good. But I'm going to look for other Walgreens pharmacies to go to.
They don't have the stock that I've come to expect from Walmart. They are often out of regular things, like ACV, crackers, allergy medicines.
Terrible customer service. Don’t bother asking anyone for help. All they will do is ignore you and pretend that you are not there.
Friendly staff, even during these difficult days. Share a smile, behind your face covering, and thank them for being there.
If I want to go somewhere to where I can’t get service from the employees I’ll just go to Walmart and pay a lot less money
Came in on 10/14/2022 and had an appointment to Have COVID vaccine and had to wait over 45 minutes! Not coming back here
RUDE RUDE RUDE. Pharmacy counter very put out to have to interact with pesky customers. Could not run Good RX Gold.
Friendly staff. They asked if I had any questions about my medication. Much better than the location closer to me.
Visited the pharmacy this morning. The pharmacist was personable, professional, and efficient. Nothing bad to say!
On the phone rn and every time the line is connected someone puts us on hold again. I can hear you talking btw.
Tried to call in a prescription.... I was on hold for 30mins, and then they hanged up on me. Very professional.
The absolute worst pharmacy! Rude and not knowledgeable about the smallest of things. Disappointing:(((
Joe is a terrible manager, couldn't complete my photo order or purchase the items.
Quality customer service often makes up for their "Out of This World!" pricing.
Been with this Walgreens for the last ten years won't change anything
They need to update their hours. They are not a 24 hours location.
Pharmacy closes early. POS Walgreens in my opinion. Go to CVS.
Customer service is seriously lacking at this location.
Miss kitt was a great help to me,thanks sweetie
Pharmacy staff is rude and slow. Stay away.
Enough groceries to get the job done.
$60 for a TB skin test is outrageous.
Great products, service and location.
Set up beautifully!
Not so good
