"Why do pharmaceutical drugs have different value at other stores "
"I think it is the worst place to shop and have a picture"
"THE "MANAGER" IN TRAINING (I'LL CALL HIM "D") HIT ON MY SON, & DIDN'T LIKE REJECTION, SO HE SAID THAT WE WERE KEEPING EVERYONE FROM DOING THEIR JOB (INCLUDING THE SECURITY OFFICER) WHILE I WAS SHOPPING FOR MAKE-UP"
"I come to this one only because it's close to my house"
"I went to the CVS down the street to develop some 35mm film, and they said "no one offers one-hour film processing anymore"
Why do pharmaceutical drugs have different value at other stores . I purchase insulin at Wal-Mart $30 for R .and .$45 for NPH . I left my insulin somewhere and it is Christmas day so Wal-Mart was closed. I go to Walgreens and it cost $170.00 each. I can understand family owned businesses marking up products in order to stay in business due to corporate owned business destroying the little guy. But a corporate business like Walgreens should not charge $140 more each compared to Wal-Mart. This is the problem with corporate owned America . Always screwing over the common man
I think it is the worst place to shop and have a picture. I went there for taking passport photo. I was not satisfied with the initial photos before the order was submitted but the associates MIKHAL Estefani refused to retake the photo. And after processing with photoshop, the picture was still horrible. It will be on my passport profile for next 10 yrs. The two associates was even teasing and laughing at the photo during the process which make me feel being humiliated. Not professional or polite at all.
THE "MANAGER" IN TRAINING (I'LL CALL HIM "D") HIT ON MY SON, & DIDN'T LIKE REJECTION, SO HE SAID THAT WE WERE KEEPING EVERYONE FROM DOING THEIR JOB (INCLUDING THE SECURITY OFFICER) WHILE I WAS SHOPPING FOR MAKE-UP....(WE KNOW EVERYONE BY NAME BTW EXCEPT FOR HIM SO HE CALLED THE POLICE ON US FOR "DISTURBING THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT" (WTH??) SO I CALLED CORPORATE ON THIS SITUATION. NEVER AGAIN. Plus it was @ 1a and almost empty, but NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SHOP HERE!
I come to this one only because it's close to my house. Every time I come to pick-up a prescription in the drive-thru, I sit and wait even after I call. Every time, another car will pull up after I've been waiting, and every time they will tend to that customer first. I'm tired of waiting on them to serve the customers that arrived after me. I'm changing locations even though I'll have to drive out of my way.
I went to the CVS down the street to develop some 35mm film, and they said "no one offers one-hour film processing anymore." But a nice man named Roy at this Walgreen's helped me develop my film within an hour. Then a day later, other staff members helped me develop film when I had a time constraint. The pictures came out well! I really recommend the photo department: great service, great quality!
The gentleman at the photo counter went out of his way to help us with the correct style of passport photo the Chinese Consulate next door required. He knows the exact format and even went so far as to pull a dark t-shirt ( dark clothing required ) off the rack for my wife to put on at no charge. He never acted put out or too busy to help. He saved us time and our long trip. Thank you sir!
Terribly long wait at the drive through pharmacy. Not to mention, I called in to transfer a prescription and said to the lady "I need to transfer this prescription from CVS" the lady goes. "To transfer to this location or another location?" and I thought to myself... why would someone call your pharmacy and request to transfer a prescription from CVS to another location.
This walgreens pharmacy is by far the best I have been to, I will only fill scripts from here from now on. They treat me like a human being and don't look down on me at all. They are very helpful and I appreciate the service they provide. They have gone out of thier way to help me a few times now and I have nothing negative at all to say. Thank you guys you are the best.
Tonight I visited the Walgreens on 3317 Montrose and Hawthorne. The security service they use parks in handicap parking and got confrontational when told to do the right thing and move to many open parking spots. CVS is way closer but choose Walgreens. I hope that Walgreens reprimands the service by the security company.
Might be the worst pharmacy in Houston. Horrible service. Any bad experience I have had at CVS is 100x better than this place. No matter the time of day you will wait at least 20 mins. Doesn't matter if you are in drive thru or go inside. And don't even try to call and speak to someone. They don't answer the phones.
Called to ask if the store carried a brace, and was told “ sir, you can come check for yourself if we have It.” If I wanted to drive 20 mins each way to not get the item I need that’s exactly what I would do. Horrible customer service by some snooty employee. I’ll take my business elsewhere
the pharmacy at this location is trash. they never answer the phone nor do they advise you when your meds are done. bad experience, they didn't take my insurance card because they read the information incorrectly. called the manager to leave a message and no one ever returned my call.
Went to a Walgreens close to my house to have a script transferred from this location. They said they couldn't do it. Been on hold for 51 minutes now, still haven't spoken to anyone. There was only 2 callers ahead of me almost an hour ago. WOW YOU SUCK AT YOUR JOB
Due to this hurricane Harvey this special thanks to the women at this pharmacy location. God bless you all. Even with the madness that's going on these women have smiles and excellent customer service DOING THE BEST THEY CAN FOR EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMER. thank you
Been filling prescriptions here for years, and is perfectly serviceable from that perspective. Not the best service, but not abysmal. It's in the middle of the city so it does get very busy (the traffic prediction in Maps is pretty accurate)
I has a surgery at midnight so i went to pick it up the medicine the doctor gave me (pain medicine and antibiotic) and the lady at the pharmacy told me the sistem was down, I have to come back in the morning and they supposed to have
When it comes to compound medications or something non standard people at walgreens are clueless, sending between their branches without checking nor giving the right information.. very disappointed and will be changing my pharmacy..
Open 24hours! That’s good and I’m grateful for that especially with the Covid restrictions.I found the arrangement of products in store just a tad confusing though... I can usually walk straight to what I need at other locations.
This pharmacy usually has a very long wait but almost always has medication in stock. Added convenience of 24 hr service and a drive thru. Many thanks to the overworked pharmacists at this location.
They couldn't figure out how to make their own registers work, so I could not use my Walgreens card. They don't have temporary cards and no other ways to make it work, so this place is useless.
The pharmacy would only accept cash pay. I tried to use my insurance, but the pharmacy tech refused to take any insurance. No problem, I just transferred to Kroger and saved about $120.
This pharmacy has terrible customer service. For days now I have been on hold while waiting to speak with pharmacy about a copay coupon for a prescription. No one ever answers.
Made appointment for covid vaccine, received confirmation. I showed up at correct time to be told they were out of vaccines. I don't trust Walgreens to handle my prescriptions
I have been waiting on the phone for over an hour looking for a script they lost. This was after waiting in line for almost 30 min before they realized they lost the script.
Never seem to have prescription ready. I get an email saying it's ready and I get there and the tell me it will take 45 mins to fill. Such a waste of time.
Walgreen's name is being tarnished on a daily basis here. This pharmacy is substandard on every level and by any metric.
The Covid 19 testing policy is stupid. We had to stand in the drive through pharmacy line and order an Uber
Worst pharmacy technicians ever. Complete lack of customer service. Pharmacist is not much better.
Overpriced, buy one get one 50% off or overpay for everything
Terrible pharmacy! Go anywhere else!!!!!
