My girl Teresa. I had the most amazing experience today with her. Not only is she a genie with hair, I’ve never had such an awesome and authentic connection with a hairdresser before. Once you sit in that chair, it was almost like therapy. I got to share my life experiences with her and just like her motto, she definitely touched my heart in a way that’s hard to come across. Hairdresser aside, human to human, shes got the type of giving character and soul that most will truly appreciate. I got a gorgeous haircut and style from Teresa at Vida Salon recently! She did a beautiful job cutting off several inches of my long hair to give me a bob haircut with layers that framed my face well. Teresa is knowledgeable, talented, kind, friendly, and professional. She also gave me many tips on hair care such as what type of shampoo and conditioner to use, how to wash my hair the best way, what type of highlights not to get to avoid damage to my hair, and more! Teresa really knows her craft and is passionate about it and it shows. Her prices are also the best and her services are very inexpensive for the high quality she provides. She is a gem. I absolutely LOVED my experience with Teresa. I coloured my blonde hair jet black using box dye twice a month for a year and by the time I was ready to go back to blonde almost no hairdresser was willing to touch my hair. I knew going from box-dyed black to blonde hair would take several appointments, and I was worried because everyone told me that the first appointment or two would leave my hair a nasty, uneven orange colour. However, after my first appointment with Teresa I loved my hair colour so much I decided to keep it for a little while longer before I have my next appointment! Teresa was also extremely friendly and professional and I felt very comfortable the entire time. I DEFINITELY recommend Vida Salon! I attached my before and after pictures. The after picture is great, but it looks even better IRL.

Don’t come here if you care about your hair and your money and if you don’t want to spend at least 700-800$ on a mix of oranges that even no other hairdresser can fix. She clearly doesn’t know how to bleach dark hairs and when I told her she told me she can offer 50% off on the third session and I would be fool to spend another at least 300$ to let you destroy my hair and tell me it was miscommunication. Respond: Unfortunately, you are still lying, you never mentioned 3 sessions or any numbers. You told me I can’t do it in one shot(even when I told you I have done it before) and you asked me to give you one more chance. You can’t ask 500$ and leave customer with oranges that I would be ashamed to go out with it

Cutest Salon in Montreal downtown and a must visit place if you want undivided attention for your hair.Teresa is a wonder woman when it comes to transform hair.It was my first visit and not only her skill as a stylist but her warm nature made me so comfortable and assured.She is extremely transparent with her approach which gave me immense assurance.Throughout my hair transformation process, she took time to understand my hair texture ,my concerns ,gave me great hair tips, shared so much knowledge.I am very glad to have found the perfect salon for my hair and I look forward to visit the salon every time. I highly recommend La Vida !!! Teresa is very experienced, she takes her time with you and is also very friendly. I never had anything done with my hair before apart from a full coloration but wanted to try something knew. I was unsure to say the least but she put me at ease and really asked the right questions to understand what I wanted or didn't want and made suggestions to ensure I would get an amazing result. She also fixed a bad haircut I ended up with after visiting another salon and showed me how to take better care of my hair. I love my new hair!!! I went to Teresa for a haircut way back in April, and it was hands down one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Teresa gives you her undivided attention the minute you walk into her salon. Got my hair done here and it was my favourite experience at a salon I will be swearing by her now! She is so genuine and amazing, I truly feel as though I made a friend. She's also so quick and did exactly what I asked while adding her advice which was so helpful! Usually I'll be sitting in silence for what feels like a whole day when I get my hair done but it felt like no time passed with her and I actually felt sad to end the conversation and leave! Also, the hair is worth the price! A bonus was the free coffee and smile I got upon first coming in (which never disappeared) :))

The right way to qualify my experience is by saying that I felt absolutely comfortable and Theresa is so professional and loves a lot what she does, she always makes sure that you understand the steps she’s doing to make sure that it is what you want. She totally surpassed my expectations, she styled soo good my hair by giving me a brand new look that my even my girlfriend said that I look prettier and a whole bunch of advices for it. I wish I found Teresa sooner! This was my first time in her salon, it is a very cool and cosy vibe in there and Teresa is a shining light. My hair was pretty terribly highlighted from a previous job but Teresa took the time to consult with me on what I wanted, she is a great listener. Teresa also took the time to educate me on curly hair and products best suited for me from amazon (she wasn't pushing products on me which was refreshing) and the result is just WOW! Teresa is a lovely hairdresser who really knows what she is doing! Her space is immaculate and the ambiance is lovely with music and decorations. She asks questions to learn how I take care of my hair (she does deeper background) and she offers her suggestions but will ultimately do and respect what I ask. I will definitely be coming back multiple times per year for hair cuts (with styling) and treatments (like the botox treatment). Teresa is extremely kind, and informed. You’d be lucky if you get a session with her!!

I had an amazing first experience with Teresa today and it definitely won’t be the last! The salon is easy accessible and clean. She took exactly what I wanted and made it a reality. Having blonde hair my whole life she truly demonstrated care for the health of my hair long term. She is a great balance of funny, informative and fun to spend three hours with, the time flew by ! This before and after was achieved with a full head highlights, a small trim (because trims are scary) and blow dry!

Theresa managed to save and completely transform my hair in only two sessions and I’m so grateful! I came to vida salon with dry brittle hair, damaged from years of heat and colouring, and with her hair botox treatment she managed to completely save my hair and give me a whole new look. She’s so helpful and involved in your goals, while always being honest and insightful. This was my first time at Vida Salon and Teresa is amazing. She gave me a lot of advice on what I should get for my hair type. My hair has a bit of a strange texture and it was very damaged from the sun, chlorine, saltwater and summer in general. My hair was also hard to brush because of how dry it was. Teresa recommended a hair botox and it was great, my hair is much easier to brush out, it’s shinier and it feels lighter. Totally recommend!
