I ordered my son his uniform on the 16th of November with still 2 items missing a which does not make any sense as I have picked up the same item just a few months ago (shorts). I went in today and spent over an hour trying to sort out an online order that they had no record of. Ordered my sons winter uniform a few months ago also 3x jumper 3x long sleeve shirt and 3x pants- only given 1 of everything. I was told that in fact I was given my sons complete order, the woman serving was not listening or hearing what I was saying just telling me I took all of the uniform home. I had to raise my voice over hers to get her to actually listen. Now the lost order which was online it appeared receipts and online proof was not enough information that I in fact had an online order, I then was told it must of also been collected. My sons father had to leave work early to come to the uniform shop (he is a physiotherapist in the cbd and had to reschedule clients) I was left waiting for a peroid of time while one woman was on the phone out the back to her manager. I asked the other woman in the front how long is this going to take this is ridiculous that I’m being accused of taking my sons uniform I never did and how can an online order just go missing when we have proof with bank receipts and online order number- her response was I don’t work in this store usually. I was almost in tears, I had not one apology from any staff member for this huge mistake. I then decided to apologise myself for raising my voice at one woman but honestly it was the only way for her to understand I did not take the uniform home she accused me of. I then asked when will I get the rest of my order? My response was someone will message you or call you, I said no one did this time, the retail assistants that serve either myself, my sons dad or sons step father have their name on the receipt yet I could not get a clear answer and the blame being shifted. This store needs a lot of work in the area of communication skills and how they treat customers.very disappointed

I've added to my previous visit review. Daughter went in to UMS shop today. No scarves, no senior tops. Wanted tights but apparently don't stock her size. Told could buy elsewhere but anybody that has tried will find it's exceptionally difficult to obtain the clothing elsewhere. It's all made to be specific and it's very noticeable if you buy a different brand. Socks only go to a certain size also. I've downgraded the shop to a 1 star now from 2 stars. Too much school kit, too many logos, too many changes, insufficient stock holding, problems with manufacturers in terms of logistics. What a mess. Can't another supplier come forward and save the day and long term future of Adelaide School Unifiorms! My daughter mentioned whilst in the store that some other issues arose with two other families. Hopefully those parents will consider writing a review themselves. Nightmare! The place has moved a few doors down. Its bigger but not sure better. Dishevelled looking manican sporting NIHS clothes. Someone teach them how to tie a tie! You could cut the atmosphere with a knife. Didn't have school uniform basics. Didn't really confidently know my childrens school uniform. No idea when stock will arrive. They were a disaster start to finish. Apparently they open 1st Sat of the month but don't tell people as they have to work every Sat anyway and don't want extra hassle. Sorry it was a big thumbs down.

Staff were very helpful when I took my son in to get fitted for a new uniform in November last year. They were VERY upfront about lead times on stock (ie they basically get no notice of when supplies will arrive). And yes, he had to start school without a backpack because it hadn't arrived yet. Things take months to arrive. It is due to Covid, not due to store staff management! We need to be organised if we know it may be months before things will be dispatched. Also very friendly on the phone when I have rung to ask for updates. I wish they were open every Saturday, and that clothes were made in Australia and in cotton instead of synthetic, but I understand why they aren't.

Incredibly frustrated. I would suggest that, in a company acknowledged uniform shortage, you don't allow on person to order 4 school skirts for one child and fulfill all four of those skirts while others (who ordered 3 months ago) cannot even get one! I placed and paid for my order 3 months ago and now, in week 3 my child still doesn't have any skirts, shorts or pants. I've already paid $300 for uniform and can ill afford to go out and buy extras while waiting for this order to hopefully one day be fulfilled.

My daughters also don't appreciate the staff yelling out their clothing sizes for everyone in the shop to hear. Some staff training in using discretion would be advised please.

I have always found the staff so helpful here. It is an easy location with lots of parking and the quality of uniforms are great. Recently I had to have my son measured up and the staff were so patient. Was served by Shannon and she was just so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Went into the Firle store to get my Grandson's uniforms and was pleasantly surprised that the shop was so well stocked, amazingly tidy and the staff went above and beyond to make my experience as pleasant as possible. Well done ladies, 5 stars!

Never buy anything from them they are cheats, they sell you a product and if you go for replacement they say they can't find it in the system and make you buy a new item. Buy from any other uniform shop but never go to UMS
