I have been bring my dog to this practice for 10 years (since summer 2013) after 2 previously poor experiences at other practices. My dog used to see Dr. McIlhaney “Dr. Mc” regularly (who has since retired) but has been under the care of Dr. Lewis, as well. Really, any vet my pet has seen has taken excellent care of her. They educate you on different options and let you make the best decision for yourself and your pet. I’ve never felt pressured to do or buy anything and have been able to go home to think about the information then make a plan and work with them. They have boarding and grooming on site and I have utilized both. Grooming- The groomer, Connie, is extremely experienced and absolutely FANTASIC! I cannot say enough good things about her. I always feel like I’m handing my dog over to a family member. If you tell her exactly what you are wanting, she knows what you are describing and makes it happen. My miniature schnauzer has never looked as good as she does since giving her to Connie and constantly gets complimented. It’s definitely worth seeing her vs a chain and the pricing is comparable with MUCH higher quality. Appointments: You can schedule through a pet portal or call. There is always someone available for scheduling and if something comes up where they need to change an appointment for a staff meeting or something else, they let you know well ahead of time. Any time I’ve had to squeeze my pet in because of a sudden Illness, so long as it’s not a life threatening emergency, they are always as accommodating as possible. They also give you symptoms to look out for and steps to take for emergency care in case the illness gets worse before your appointment. I’ve scheduled grooming and a general wellness appointment the same day for and they let you drop off and pick up. Receipts always itemized. Dental: She’s had her teeth cleaned for the first time there and they require bloodwork. Very thorough and wouldn’t let her go under anesthesia for her dental until labs looked good. Pawplan- I’m usually weary and cautious of these types of memberships but I’ve had it for 3 years, now, and it covers everything needed for my pet. You pay monthly and it’s nice to not have to pay the day of treatment. She recently did her annual wellness with all vaccines and heart worm test, etc. and all I paid was $50 plus a tip for the grooming. It’s nice to not have a full bill each visit, at least for me. Overall: They treat your furry family member as if they were their own and I won’t go anywhere else for the lifelong care for my pet. *I promise I’m not endorsed by them or am getting any kind of review compensation, haha. After having bad experiences with other practices, I know how hard it is to make decisions like these. I created this review in hopes others find some or all of this information helpful for the decision making process of finding care for their furry family member(s). ☺️*

I was shopping around for a new vet clinic and was impressed from the initial phone call with their staff to book new client appointments. Everyone that assisted me did so with friendly, professional kindness, & patience. They exhibited flexibility and understanding while finding a time that fit in my hectic schedule to get my two girls in to be seen. My experience with the finely tuned machine that is Towne North Animal Hospital with a personal approach to small animal care… from all the staff I encountered in general, was pleasantly wonderful. Thorough and passionate care was rendered and everything was explained to me in a way I understood. All my questions were expertly answered. I never felt that I was being rushed and I witnessed my dogs being treated like the family members they are. I highly recommend this clinic for your family. There is plenty of parking and a strip of grass designated for pups to relieve themselves. The waiting area is designed in a way that supports families to keep distance between themselves if need be while remaining open, welcoming, clean and tidy.

As the Resort Manager of a large scale pet resort and spa, I want to make sure I give credit where it is due. From the very beginning when making my account and appointment to the check in/out process Sarah the receptionist was nothing less than friendly, inviting and very personable/relatable. I enjoyed every conversation as she was extremely friendly and sounded like she genuinely enjoys what she does. During my appointment the vet tech Katrina (I think that was her name) was also very friendly and super easy to talk to. She was very understanding of my pups anxiety/fear and tried everything she could to help us which I greatly appreciate. Overall very impressed with both staff members work ethic and they made my experience the best it could’ve been given my fearful pups behavior.

Fantastic vet office! The staff working here are compassionate, friendly, and patient when it comes to all of my questions. We've had positive experiences with every vet here, but have had the most experience with Dr. Lewis, who is great! Dr. Lewis is very thorough and knowledgeable. She takes extra steps to make sure you understand different prognoses and treatments. As someone who likes to know the what, why, and how of things, I really appreciate this. I can be a very anxious dog mom, so knowing that there is always someone willing to answer my questions put me (and my puppers) at ease. I can always trust that the staff here will provide the best care possible for my fur baby! I highly recommend this vet office!!

I was charged a regular office visit for what should have been a followup visit. When I made the appointment it wasn't clarified that it would be with another Dr.and I was charged for a very basic regular exam which involved just about nothing, just involved a little different advise on what "she recommends". This was different from the original Dr. advise. I was told that they would note to make sure that a similar situation won't happen again. No effort to give the customer some understanding in this matter Be sure to not see another Dr. other than the one you have seen before unless it's an emergency or you will be charged a regular office visit fee when it should be a follow up visit.

I live in the valley, Harlingen, TX and it is extremely hard to make an appointment down there, the soonest was 5/4/2023. I called last week 3/21/2023 to make an appointment for this past Saturday 3/25/2023 and I got an appointment right away! My baby is now updated with his vaccines! The staff and doctor were all very nice. I had 5 star service, excellent! I also loved that the office smelled so clean. I have eczema and allergies so staying in a pet office for a long time is not good for me. We will be going back regularly even though it’s a 4hr drive for us. It is totally worth it because I love the excellent service they provided to my furbaby and us. It means the world to me!

I found myself without a vet yet after moving to SA a few months ago. My girl needed a doctor as she has hives all over her. I called 8 vets near me and all were booked. Towne North said they could see her at 11am, and when I described her symptoms they asked me to bring her right in. Sara was soooo sweet and caring. I can’t remember the techs name but she was really sweet and helped calm Trixie down. Dr. Pearson was probably the best bed side manner Vet I’ve ever dealt with. He was personable, knowledgeable about the French bulldog breed and very kind. They got Trixie fixed up and out we went! I HIGHLY recommend this Vet clinic!

Highly recommend! Our first time to the vet my puppy had a accident, I felt so bad but the staff reassured me it was perfectly ok. My dog was at first scared of a new environment however, when she met the vet and the vet tech their energy immediately settled my puppy and they became best friends. I felt very comfortable and loved watching them engage with her. Even others in the waiting room were so nice. It was a very good experience. I loved that our vet called a few days later to check on her. They are our vet family for life!

I love this clinic. I have two cats and had two recent and separate health emergencies. Clinics near my house wouldn’t schedule them saying they needed immediate care. This clinic has always worked with me to get my cats in and has never turned me away. Also, they only sell and recommend what you need unlike VCA which tries to make as much $$$ as they can each visit. This clinic is clean and there are no foul odors like you might find elsewhere. Friendly staff on phone, at check-in as well as the techs and doctors.

I came in for routine vaccines for my dog and received friendly, timely, and affordable service. Sara the receptionist was very kind and helpful. Frankie the technician was distractingly cute and attractive but also equally knowledgeable. Dr. Pearson was very nice to my dog and Kiba must have thought so too because she gave him kisses and forgave him quickly after getting poked and crying a little bit. This was my first time visiting and overall Kiba and I had a perfect experience. ❤ Thank you!

I like this place a lot more than deerfield animal hospital. The people here have a lot better bedside manner.. the people are a lot friendlier, more knowledgeable, thorough. They gave me a lot of good information on recent studies showing heart issues with grain-free food, on what causes ear inflammation, etc. Looked for discounts for me to combine stool sample with senior bloodwork.. The lobby and stuff was nicer to be in too. Lot of healthy treat options for purchase. Free treats in the lobby.

I can’t say enough of Dr. Lewis and the staff. Caring and attentive. Even after my fur baby Lexi passed after losing her fight to cancer she took the time to call me afterwards. We have a new fur ball baby Jaxson who has helped me through some of my healing process. I took him to Town North where he was treated with open arms. Dr. Lewis remembered me and took the time to console me once again and spent time with Jax to give him a good bill of health. Their amazing!!!

Had gone here for years due to dr. peterson being here. Now that he's gone there TRULY is no reason for me to be with this vet. Their vet tech had manhandled and improperly injected cyto-point into my dog as well as the receptionist at the front CONSTANTLY being extraordinarily rude. She's likely involved with the stabby vet tech so maybe it makes sense. What's that saying...? "don't defecate where you eat". Extremely unprofessional and lower than standard skills.

I've been taking my dog to TN for all his life, he is now 13 yo. He is my second dog to go there. My first dog we took for most of her life. We were not happy with the first vet and a coworker with my wife suggested we try TN because she took her dogs there. We are always satisfied that we are getting quality knowledgeable information. The staff is nice and welcoming. If we get a third dog, guess where we will take him. I do miss their boarding services though.

I really wanted to thank Towne North for helping my puppy with all her needs. Their grooming are also very affordable, and they do an outstanding job. Doctor Pearson is AMAZING with pets. My sister takes your dog here. Her dog is very scare of vet offices, but at Towne North, her dog is not afeared to visit. I love it here. RECOMMEND IT 100%. ASK FOR DR. PEARSON.. HE IS THE BEST VET EVER - this is coming from someone who has owned dogs for over 20 years.

The staff was very helpful. When I called I was provided with an appointment the same day. When I came into the office everyone was kind and helpful. The Vet Tech was patient with my fur baby. The Vet was understanding and explained everything that was needed to help Tank get better. In fact Tank was so comfortable with all the staff and other fur babies that he wanted to go back in the exam section and stay a while longer so he could get more “loves”.

The whole staff was great. I had an emergency with my baby on a Saturday and they fit him into their schedule and took very good care of him. The staff was very welcoming and made my boy feel very comfortable. Dr. Pearson loved on my boy and then explained what was going on and took care of him quickly. Dr Pearson personally followed up on Monday- a holiday- to make sure Riot was doing well. He made me feel like he genuinely cares about my boy.

Best possible experience for my sweet cat! The staff and veterinarian were phenomenal. So kind and sweet to my baby and super informative for my husband and I. Received her lab work the day after the visit, so asap which was great! The follow up message was also a very nice touch. Affordable care while also making sure you’re getting everything you need and don’t need. This will be our main provider from here on out!

I initially called to ask about walk ins and was told they don’t take walk ins but let me know they had an appointment that same day and set it up nice and quick. Our visit was great! All the staff was very friendly and made sure to inform us of prices before continuing any tests, etc. The vet was very informative with our diagnosis and also informed us of future issues to look out for. I would definitely recommend!

Recently took our fur baby in for updated vaccine and visit. Tech indicated I didn't have to wait to the see the Dr. since we had just been there in June for our annuals. Great customer service! Tech administered vaccination with ice packs since our baby is very sensitive to injections and I didn't have to waste time sitting, waiting to see Dr. Staff was professional, helpful and very compassionate.

We had to take our dog Lucy in, she is just 5 months old- all the weekend vets had such a long wait, I called Towne North and the basically took us right in! Lucy had diarrhea, and was not eating well, the vet, the assistant and office staff was absolutely amazing! The got Lucy on some medication AND the vet himself called a few days later to make sure Lucy was on the mend! Will definitely be back!

Dr. Pearson and all the staff were so nice and helpful. I will never take my pets anywhere else. My cat Stormy had a cough and when I called around to get pricing one vet told me at least $500 to run tests to find the issue. It was under $150 to fix the issue. He even personally called to check it on Stormy. You can tell they actually care more about your pet than just making money off of them.

Dr Larry and his staff were all very helpful, kind, knowledgeable and showed care and concern with my Bella who is 10 years old. Dr Larry was very patient and listened to our concerns. He was not over bearing and did not try to add procedures or medications that we did not need. I really like this office and will return with Bella and my other 2 dogs if they need care!

I'm so glad to have Towne North Animal Hospital nearby. They always take such good care of my dog when she needs it. Everyone there is professional and friendly. One dowside though is that we sometimes end up waiting for a long time (30+ minutes) before getting to see someone. I have to factor in an additional 45 minutes to an hour if I have to take time off work

This place is amazing! I had my hospice foster peeing blood & I called same day & was able to get an appointment due to a cancellation. I was out of town so my mother had to bring her and they were so patient with my mom and the doctor was so sweet. He called the next day to update us on the results. You guys are awesome, I was referred by your sister company.

Went to this company because it was near my home and it had good Stars for my cat who had ear mites. Everyone was very very nice it was quiet it was fast. my cat is feeling better. She still has a little itching going on but probably from dying mites. she looks much much happier so I say thank you to town north and I look forward to the next friendly visit!

Dr. Tinsley was great! He helped get our old gal back in working shape. She had been dropping weight and vomiting. They were able to provide next day ultrasound and squeeze her in. The girls at the front desk were polite and I have no problems getting an appointment. There is plenty of parking and the staff seems to be genuinely invested in their job.

This team and hospital is so amazing! I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to everyone who welcomed me and helped me with my baby’s dental! They were all so kind to me and Maybelle. The entire team is extremely knowledgeable and helps educate their clients too! I don’t even have enough words to say thank you to the entire team! AMAZING!

My cat became ill over the weekend, called Towne North on Monday morning and they were able to see him within the hour. Dental work was needed and was scheduled for same day. They kept me well informed about the procedure before, during and after. Very satisfied with the whole experience. My cat is 100% back to himself. Wonderful staff and Doctors.

My 15 year old pup was sick Friday night with digestive issues. I called when they opened on Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment within the hour for a new patient. Dr. Pearson and staff were so kind and compassionate. I am very grateful to everyone that helped my sweet, old pup Bear! We found our new vet office. I highly recommend!

Amazing service! Dr. Pearson was awesome and so was the staff. My dog had her first dental cleaning and they were so thorough. They updated me at every step. I was nervous but they put me at ease and my dog had a great experience with her dental cleaning. Dr. Pearson even called during and after the procedure and made me feel like a valued client.

I absolutely love coming here. Everyone is so nice and they do such a great job. Every time I visit with my pups, I get a follow-up call asking how they are doing which means so much. During a dental procedure done, they called during to update, confirm pricing, and call when it was completed and my pet was safe. I'd recommend to anyone.

The team fit our ill fur baby in with minimum notice. They were welcoming and efficient. Although the testing took extra time, due to holiday weekend, Dr. Pearson took time to call (on his day off) to provide us the results the morning the results were returned to his office. The entire staff is amazing; friendly, concerned, and respectful. The vets and vet techs are obviously in synch and take time to learn about my fur babies. They do not make you feel bad if you decline a service due to finances. I have never been allowed to feel guilty over a pets’ illness. This is a very compassionate group!

I took my corgi mix Netta here and they did a great job of making her feel safe. My fur baby was attacked by another dog before and she has ptsd. I’m happy how she was treated here she actually feels comfortable. I’m happy to even save money and enroll her into plans here saving me money with her visits.

My husky was seen for grooming & cyst removal recently & we had a great experience. Everything was explained very clearly & Carolyn was extremely helpful. His coat looks great & they were very friendly with my big baby of a dog.

They answered the phone 10mins till close. Then squeeze my cat in for the next day. They were calm and sweet. Did not charge me an arm and a leg. And helped save our cat. They have my heart for ever. 1000% recommend!!!!!
