EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING cold perm experience. In terms of hair style, I discern almost no curl at all after 2 hours. The senior stylist has no consideration about the customer's style or face shape, and merely did what she can do. Have no idea why she is a senior stylist. When looking back the reviews on her, she even cut the ear of a customer in Spring 2022 but Ticro did not offer any compensation there. Deeply regretted chosing to do a perm with her. In terms of the environment, it is quite hard to find and thereis an unpleasant, poignant smell in the shop.Also, the toilets are extremely run-down. Staff in general are only nice to Japanese customers---they chat and smile and laugh with Japanese customers speaking their language,and do not discern any foreigners. Would strongly advise against visiting if not Japanese due to Furthermore, this shop lacks the level of service expected. In other hairdressing shops, they offer snacks, drinks and message. Here, none of the above is offered.When I FINALLY GOT SOME WATER IT WAS RUSTY TAP WATER in a dirty cup. Astonished by this so did not drink.

I was late for 20 mins for my appointment 3-4PM (pre-paid appointment) on that day. When I was arrived, my booked hairdresser MS CHIHIRO was serving another customer. I am so confused why she can serve another customer at my paid appointment slot without asking me if I am not coming for the appointment. It is so rude that She didn’t send a message to me to check if I am not coming for the appointment and just have another customer. This is very ridiculous and she just ask another hairdresser to wash my hair and ask me to wait for her for 30mins with my wet hair in an air conditioner room.I am totally fine if she want to serve her current customer now and serve me later at 4-5 pm. But she should not ask another one to wash my hair and ask me to wait there for 30mins with my wet hair. She said Otherwise I could have another hairdresser to do her work now but only a quick haircut so I don’t have to wait with my wet hair. Very rude, unprofessional, irresponsible! Please avoid this stylist…

Had my hair cut there the other day. I have been to Ticro a few times and my experience has been decent until this time round. I told the female stylist what I wanted and I did not want for my haircut and she cut my hair exactly the way I did not want and did not fulfil a single request of my haircut!! She said she would layer my hair but there was no layer!! Even my friends could not see any layer! My hair is completely messed up and whenever I see myself on the mirror, I can't help but HATING my haircut so much. I am too scared of going back to this place for a haircut again.

MAGIC MARI! (Look, reviews are always so subjective: I think the negative reviews are more lost in translation scenarios) As you can see in the photo..I had that typical grown out bleached balayage on asian hair .. and frankly it looked like a rats tail. I've kept balayaging my hair because all other japanese salons I've been to don't have that ash brown tint they offer in Asia. Mari cut and dyed my hair a beautiful ash brown colour that I've wanted as they use products from Japan. I'll let the photos do the talking. So happy with the result, Mari thank youuu!

Very nice place for good hair cut. Price is affordable and I noticed they recently refreshed a bit the environment. Staff is changing every year (maybe due to visa expiration) but not the manager. Have tried most of them randomly for hair cut, all good service and patient. Full hair colouring and cut (short bob) was £260 for me as my hair is very thick and black, very satisfied with the result by Chihiro, thank you so much and have a great time in Japan! I have recommend my sister in law to this place, hope she likes it.

Shocked by how customers are treated. Not one apology, no refunds and will not change it. Overpriced and regretting choosing them. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY, WASTE A LOT OF TIME, GET NO RESULTS, GET HAIR DAMAGED AND BECOME EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!

I have been a regular customer here but after this time I would NEVER come or recommend anyone here again. My stylist didn’t even ask if the length is ok so I asked if the length could be shorter, she responded that there’s no time for it so we have to end it here, she only spent less than 30 mins on cutting the hair… This service and professionality for a senior stylist is definitely not worth £55

Amazing experience! One of the Japanese hairstylist was very professional and friendly. Was scared by the bad reviews before going, but now I don’t regret it. My advice for non-Japanese speaker is: do some preparation on the hairstyle you want before doing your haircut, show them pictures then he/she can do it accurately for you :)

Prob not the best place to go if you don't speak Japanese(?). I tried to emphasize several times that I wanted a professional and clean-cut look, but the stylist decided to put a bird nest on my head. Maybe professional means a pop singer in her native language. 3 star for effort and courtesy. £42 for a simple men's haircut.

I had my hair done by Misaki and she was so amazing! Always made sure I was happy with the length and cut. I got long layers done with a curtain bang trim and the styling after was nice too. Only £42 for a great job so I definitely recommend and will come again
