Hospitality to the extreme! We had a short 4 day stay at the Canyon Suites but the memories we made will last a lifetime! As a family of four we wanted a warm getaway with entertainment for our kids (4 & 6 years old) Upon arriving we met our ambassador Derek. He became our point of contact during our stay but really so much more! He had chocolates for our kids when we arrived. Surprised them with stuffed animals at breakfast and knew exactly how to make this special trip even more special for the kids and the adults alike. The complimentary breakfast bar was like something out of a movie. Not only did it look amazing but had something for everyone-including 2 picky kids. Special events were organized through your stay. Our favorite was making s’mores in the fire pit at sunset. Thank you Kristy! The pools were clean and the staff was beyond attentive and kind. The property was stunning with several pools, a water slide and a splash pad. But what made the greatest impression on us was the customer service! From the housekeepers to our servers by the pool, doormen every one had a smile on their face and was eager to help in anyway they could. We were all a little sad about leaving on our last day when another ambassador brought us a signed card with a beautifully wrapped parting gift. I could have cried. The Canyon Suites at the Phoenician is a place our family loved and cannot wait to visit again soon.

12/10. I’ve traveled quite a bit in the US and this is by far the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is unbelievable, extremely attentive with constant attention to detail. Special shout out to Buzz, Meredith, Christine, Martin, and the other afternoon concierge (woman). I can’t think of one negative of our experience here. Buzz and Meredith - the best breakfast staff ever. Christine - thank you for getting us settled upon check in! Afternoon concierge, sorry I didn’t write down your name, but thank you for helping us get a dinner reservation on short notice. Martin - thanks for the best pool side assistance! We went to relax and that’s what we got - the ambiance at the Canyon side is so peaceful and wonderful. Easy quick walk to the Phoenician side. Definitely check out the Cactus garden, the night time S’mores (by request), and walk around the grounds. Highly recommend Mowry and Cotton for dinner, we went for lunch as well but found the dinner food to be much better. The pools are amazing, loved the adult pool at the Phoenician side, so much to choose from! Our room was so cozy and large - love the double closets and the day bed on the balcony. House keeping was top notch! I can’t wait to return - Canyon Suites has set the bar so high in all areas of hospitality. I was so sad to leave, but so thankful for an amazing and perfect experience.

If you’re looking for luxury and high end service look no further. While the aesthetic may not be the most modern they make up for it was upkeep and attention to detail. Pros: - you can use the amenities of the Phoenician but still escape to the privacy of the canyon suites - the spa was awesome and the attendants were extremely helpful. Beyond! Fantastic spa pool for relaxation on the roof. I did a facial, a massage, and a pedicure all of which were fantastic. - the poolside service was so attentive it was like the staff were prescient. They knew what I needed before I did. Super friendly and fun to boot - the rooms are enormous and spacious. We had a foyer with a half bath, and living room and dining area plus a bedroom area and full bath. Cons: - the only complaint about the room is that the shower was quite small. It is a funny design choice the builders made considering how large every other element in the room is. Restaurants and bars - j&g: I though it was ok but if you are able to go in to town there are better steakhouse options. We had a ny steak on the bone and unfortunately the cook was uneven and overall over cooked and under seasoned. I wouldn’t recommend any of the steak sauces. Our server was great though and helped make some wonderful wine recommendations - cotton and mowry: pretty tasty for more casual fair. The flatbread was good.

The best description I can share based on my few days stay is “A classy and relaxing escape”. I absolutely appreciated the hospitality received from Jay, Whitney, Derrick, Patrick and Jonathan. The staff understands hospitality. Out of a rate of 1 to 10, I give them 11. The room was spacious and the beds are comfortable. I needed instructions how to operate the coffee machine. Also, more toiletry could come in handy. I loved the large patio. I was able to sit and breath. The continental breakfast assortment was the best I’ve ever experienced; fresh, healthy and delicious. They offered all types of coffee creams and milks, which accommodated your individual choice. The hotel is connected with another whereby my friend and I were able to enjoy the bar at the pool and had several pool options to set our feet in. The flare of Arizona was prevalent from the trails overlooking the border of Scottsdale and Phoenix. I loved the landscape as well. I wish I had time to take a bike ride around the property as it’s complimentary. Thanks again Jay and Whitney. I’ll never forget my stay.

We’re currently in a long term stay here. It’s a beautiful property with wonderful guests & excellent employees. We entered the suite after having a lovely dinner at Mowry & Cotton Monday. We immediately noticed an unpleasant odor coming from the half bathroom. We inspected the bathroom & noticed a large area of the ceiling covered in mold. (See attached pics) They had to cut away part of the ceiling to remove the mold. The two gentleman who removed the mold made a terrible situation better; considering what was going on. I can’t say the same for the executives/management team. I’ve noticed that several salary employees at this property/Phoenician & spa (when dealing with my unfortunate issues & other guests problems) have the best interest of Marriott; not the guest. The new Canyon Manager Q is one. He needs to be trained properly/understand every aspect of customer service. I tried to resolve this with him. He was more interested in becoming a “legend” at Marriott then resolving this. Good luck!

We stopped here coming back from California during our maiden voyage of our new RV. Two nights turned into 3 nights as we loved it that much! We seriously did not want to leave. Top notch! Very nice property. Staff was very friendly Definitely much less going on than The Phoenician side. Only 60 rooms vs. Over 600 at the Phoenician. But a quick 300 meter walk or a ride in one of the golf carts gets you to all the pools, bars, and restaurants at the Phoenician. If you're looking for a more secluded experience, this is the place you want to be. I have the same complaint as I do at Every other Marriott property and that is no matter if you're staying at a $100 a night Town Place or a $900 a night Luxury Brand, you get the same garbage pillows that feel like a pillow case stuffed with old Teeshirts. Whoever is in charge of pillow purchasing has most likely never slept on one of these.

Spent our anniversary here in March and returned for wife's birthday in November. Same great people working here who enjoy making people happy. Sharon at the pool and Buzz at breakfast stand out as always. This place is so relaxing and tranquil. A slice of heaven.

Great place for my spouse and I to visit. It is a beautiful property and we enjoyed the ambiance and amenities. The staff at the Canyon Suites was very helpful and made a difference in our stay. Food services were excellent. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. We hope to visit again soon.

The customer service at the Canyon Suites is superb. They went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. I wish every luxury hotel would take customer service lessons from the manager at the canyon suites @ the Phoenician.

My husband and I enjoyed the most lovely long weekend here. Our room was fabulous as is everything else about the Phoenician property. We had to lost awesome couples massage at the Spa and I enjoyed using the Athletic Center each morning. The area offers so much to do and the staff is delightful!

I stated in the Canyon Suites because of the intimacy of the resort. I enjoyed the secluded jacuzzi all to myself. The free continental breakfast out by the waterfall was amazing. The room service was impeccable. Definitely planning to return and the complimentary valet service was appreciated.

The Canyon Suites is a true luxury resort. Location is wonderful and the place is peaceful. Loved our suite and the pool area. Elegant and clean! Absolutely a fabulous place to stay for relaxation. Breakfast selections were very nice. Great place!

I don't have experience at the hotel. However, could you answer my question ? Why do you have a ladies night, but not a gentlemen's? Do you consider ladies more important? If so, why?
