I travelled with a friend to attend Ladies Day at the races. We had 2 nights there. The hotel is very nice and the staff very friendly and approachable. Breakfast both days was fantastic. There is the usual toast, cereals, pastries, juices etc. You order your main breakfast separately. The cooked breakfast was hot and very tasty with good quality food. On the second day I ordered Eggs Royale, beautifully cooked and presented. There was enough for 2 so we shared. There was a wedding on the Saturday so it was a bit noisy at bed time. Parking is limited but we did manage to get a space. It's a very short walk to local restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the high street. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Food here is not cheap, but it's very good. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. I marked the room down by one ⭐ because the bath had high sides and no hand rail to help to get in and out, or to hold on to while taking a shower. I didn't feel safe. There was no non-slip bathmat, but I probably could have asked for one. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre for able-bodied visitors. We found it nice and quiet.

Reasonably central hotel with free parking. Fantastic breakfast, varied options including freshly made ones, also for vegetarians, had salmon with fried haloumi and scrambled eggs. Also croissants, cereal, yoghurt with fruit. Didn't need lunch after that :) Room quite large, bathroom with bath, was a bit warm and didn't manage to open the window - should have asked for assistance, I'm sure they would have sorted it.

Excellent location with restaurants on your doorstep. The biggest perk however was the free on site parking. I'd say the stay exceeded our expectations. All staff were friendly and willing to help. We stayed in the Richard III suite which had great interior and decor. Plenty of light coming into the room. Another great perk was the complementary water bottles given everyday. We didn't book breakfast so can't comment. Keep up the good work Belmont

This is a wonderfully quirky hotel in a fantastic location for quick access to the city or the train station. I stay here for work quite a bit and have been around a lot of the rooms. They are always clean and well presented. Staff are kind and have been quick to offer support when I have needed it. The breakfasts are good and offer you a lot of choice. I look forward to my next stay!

Absolutely wonderful! This hotel is just a delight and the staff are incredible and cannot help enough. Service is sensational. Photographed a couple of weddings here and the most recent was just brilliant. Sian who is the wedding planner and events host was just fantastic. So warm, friendly and happy. Made the whole wedding superb. The whole team were fantastic. Rooms and venue beautiful, and the food was delicious. Thank you so much @shelleycostellophotography

The room was a good size. Plenty of choice at breakfast with cooked items being very well cooked. When we checked in there was a notice in reception warning of a private party with a disco which I was concerned about as I have been to hotels before which were very noisy. However I needn't have worried as I had a good night's sleep and didn't hear any noise at all.

Had a SUPRISE party here in early June.. staff were amazing with helping me set event in motion from front of house to bar and kitchen ... I would say that all the food was given a massive thumbs up by guest and the surprise was very well managed and worked 100%. Hotel provided DJ as well who turned out to be very good. Highly recommend.

The Belmont Hotel Leicester is a very special place to stay. I've used it twice in the past 12 months when in the Leicester area. Rooms are very good and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Good selection of food offered at breakfast. All in all the atmosphere at the hotel is very welcoming.

We loved our stay in the Richard III family room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts had options for all the family. Other family members were welcome to call by. And the location was perfect, with New Walk a delightful thoroughfare through the city.

Great hotel, with good rates if you book direct with the hotel. Large car park at rear, but satnav takes you to front entrance which has limited parking and no turning space.

What a dump! I caught cold cause my room was freezing cold. Breakfast costs £14 and you get bread and croissants. Staff is also quite slow. When I complained about the cold room, I got one above the kitchen that had a terrible noise from kitchen equipment. In short, avoid this dump!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff are attentive and explain how to navigate the hotel. The bar prices are reasonable and the bar person was chatty (always a plus for a lone guest). The rooms are spacious and well laid out. I have stayed 5 times now and never been let down. 10 minute walk to the town centre so perfectly situated. More

Did not stay but ate at the restaurant which was excellent quality and presentation choice of 2/3 course restaurant menu or the regular menu. All of our party found what they wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was surprisingly close to the city centre.

Just stopped for one night, as it was convenient for Europe concert at De Montfort Hall. Nice clean and tidy room (105) and bathroom, slightly drainy smell in room and WiFi connection wasn't great. Spacious car park, good choice for breakfast, friendly staff and also good location for walking into the city centre.
Decent mid range hotel. It’s quite run down and in need of remodelling but the team are great and the rates are decent.

Spacious room with comfy bed in the heart of Leicester, 5 mins walk from the train station. En suite was very clean, but the shower was hard to turn on and get to a good temperature. My curtains were also very difficult to close. But, staff

I absolutely love the fact that it is a Boutique Hotel. The environment was quiet and even the guests were friendly and fun. I was given an upgrade as I was there celebrating my birthday. The room was very cozy and comfortable.
Good price. Very friendly staff. Ver6 nice hotel in quiet pleasant residential area. Decorated to high modern standard. Great for station and university very close by.
A relaxing, comfortable, non-corporate and traditional hotel. Rooms are pleasant and range in size and amenity. Car parking is FREE, something of an increasing rarity.
If only everyone had the same attitude as the people at The Belmont the world would be a better place. Perfect location also from the Train Station. More
Very clean and spacious hotel.breakfast nice but expensive.very friendly and helpful staff especially the maintenance man. More
